Acts 22
1 Men brothers and fathers, do hear of me the to you (now *N(k)O*) defense.
ஹே பித்ரு’க³ணா ஹே ப்⁴ராத்ரு’க³ணா: , இதா³நீம்’ மம நிவேத³நே ஸமவத⁴த்த|
2 Having heard then that in the Hebrew language he was addressing them, even more they became quiet. And he says;
ததா³ ஸ இப்³ரீயபா⁴ஷயா கதா²ம்’ கத²யதீதி ஸ்²ருத்வா ஸர்வ்வே லோகா அதீவ நி: ஸ²ப்³தா³ ஸந்தோ(அ)திஷ்ட²ந்|
3 I myself (indeed *k*) am a man Jewish born in Tarsus of Cilicia, brought up however in city this at the feet of Gamaliel instructed according to [the] exactness of the of our Fathers law, a zealous one being for God even as all you yourselves are this day,
பஸ்²சாத் ஸோ(அ)கத²யத்³ அஹம்’ யிஹூதீ³ய இதி நிஸ்²சய: கிலிகியாதே³ஸ²ஸ்ய தார்ஷநக³ரம்’ மம ஜந்மபூ⁴மி: ,ஏதந்நக³ரீயஸ்ய க³மிலீயேலநாம்நோ(அ)த்⁴யாபகஸ்ய ஸி²ஷ்யோ பூ⁴த்வா பூர்வ்வபுருஷாணாம்’ விதி⁴வ்யவஸ்தா²நுஸாரேண ஸம்பூர்ணரூபேண ஸி²க்ஷிதோ(அ)ப⁴வம் இதா³நீந்தநா யூயம்’ யாத்³ரு’ஸா² ப⁴வத² தாத்³ரு’ஸோ²(அ)ஹமபீஸ்²வரஸேவாயாம் உத்³யோகீ³ ஜாத: |
4 who this Way persecuted as far as death binding and betraying to prisons men both and women,
மதமேதத்³ த்³விஷ்ட்வா தத்³க்³ராஹிநாரீபுருஷாந் காராயாம்’ ப³த்³த்⁴வா தேஷாம்’ ப்ராணநாஸ²பர்ய்யந்தாம்’ விபக்ஷதாம் அகரவம்|
5 as also the high priest bears witness to me and all the elderhood, from whom also letters having received to the brothers to Damascus I was on my way going to bring also those there being bound to Jerusalem in order that they may be punished.
மஹாயாஜக: ஸபா⁴ஸத³: ப்ராசீநலோகாஸ்²ச மமைதஸ்யா: கதா²யா: ப்ரமாணம்’ தா³தும்’ ஸ²க்நுவந்தி, யஸ்மாத் தேஷாம்’ ஸமீபாத்³ த³ம்மேஷகநக³ரநிவாஸிப்⁴ராத்ரு’க³ணார்த²ம் ஆஜ்ஞாபத்ராணி க்³ரு’ஹீத்வா யே தத்ர ஸ்தி²தாஸ்தாந் த³ண்ட³யிதும்’ யிரூஸா²லமம் ஆநயநார்த²ம்’ த³ம்மேஷகநக³ரம்’ க³தோஸ்மி|
6 It happened however to me journeying and drawing near to Damascus about noon suddenly out of heaven shining a light great around me myself;
கிந்து க³ச்ச²ந் தந்நக³ரஸ்ய ஸமீபம்’ ப்ராப்தவாந் ததா³ த்³விதீயப்ரஹரவேலாயாம்’ ஸத்யாம் அகஸ்மாத்³ க³க³ணாந்நிர்க³த்ய மஹதீ தீ³ப்தி ர்மம சதுர்தி³ஸி² ப்ரகாஸி²தவதீ|
7 I fell then to the ground and heard a voice saying to me; Saul Saul, why Me persecute you?
ததோ மயி பூ⁴மௌ பதிதே ஸதி, ஹே ஸௌ²ல ஹே ஸௌ²ல குதோ மாம்’ தாட³யஸி? மாம்ப்ரதி பா⁴ஷித ஏதாத்³ரு’ஸ² ஏகோ ரவோபி மயா ஸ்²ருத: |
8 I myself then answered; Who are You Lord? He said then to me; I myself am Jesus of Nazareth whom you yourself are persecuting.
ததா³ஹம்’ ப்ரத்யவத³ம்’, ஹே ப்ரபே⁴ கோ ப⁴வாந்? தத: ஸோ(அ)வாதீ³த் யம்’ த்வம்’ தாட³யஸி ஸ நாஸரதீயோ யீஸு²ரஹம்’|
9 Those then with me myself being the indeed light beheld (and terrified they were *K*) the however voice not did they hear the [One] speaking to me.
மம ஸங்கி³நோ லோகாஸ்தாம்’ தீ³ப்திம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா பி⁴யம்’ ப்ராப்தா: , கிந்து மாம்ப்ரத்யுதி³தம்’ தத்³வாக்யம்’ தே நாபு³த்⁴யந்த|
10 I said then; What shall I do Lord? And the Lord said to me; Having risen up do go to Damascus, and there and there you it will be told concerning all things that it has been appointed you to do.
தத: பரம்’ ப்ரு’ஷ்டவாநஹம்’, ஹே ப்ரபோ⁴ மயா கிம்’ கர்த்தவ்யம்’? தத: ப்ரபு⁴ரகத²யத், உத்தா²ய த³ம்மேஷகநக³ரம்’ யாஹி த்வயா யத்³யத் கர்த்தவ்யம்’ நிரூபிதமாஸ்தே தத் தத்ர த்வம்’ ஜ்ஞாபயிஷ்யஸே|
11 While now not I was seeing because of the brightness of the light that, being led by the hand by those being with me I came to Damascus.
அநந்தரம்’ தஸ்யா: க²ரதரதீ³ப்தே: காரணாத் கிமபி ந த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா ஸங்கி³க³ணேந த்⁴ரு’தஹஸ்த: ஸந் த³ம்மேஷகநக³ரம்’ வ்ரஜிதவாந்|
12 Ananias then certain, a man (devout *N(k)O*) according to the law, borne witness to by all the dwelling [there] Jews,
தந்நக³ரநிவாஸிநாம்’ ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ யிஹூதீ³யாநாம்’ மாந்யோ வ்யவஸ்தா²நுஸாரேண ப⁴க்தஸ்²ச ஹநாநீயநாமா மாநவ ஏகோ
13 having come to me and having stood by [me] he said to me; Saul brother, do receive sight. And I myself And I myself on the same hour looked up at him.
மம ஸந்நிதி⁴ம் ஏத்ய திஷ்ட²ந் அகத²யத், ஹே ப்⁴ராத: ஸௌ²ல ஸுத்³ரு’ஷ்டி ர்ப⁴வ தஸ்மிந் த³ண்டே³(அ)ஹம்’ ஸம்யக் தம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்டவாந்|
14 And he said; The God of the fathers of us has appointed you to know the will of Him and to see the Righteous One and to hear [the] voice out of the mouth of Him;
தத: ஸ மஹ்யம்’ கதி²தவாந் யதா² த்வம் ஈஸ்²வரஸ்யாபி⁴ப்ராயம்’ வேத்ஸி தஸ்ய ஸு²த்³த⁴ஸத்த்வஜநஸ்ய த³ர்ஸ²நம்’ ப்ராப்ய தஸ்ய ஸ்ரீமுக²ஸ்ய வாக்யம்’ ஸ்²ரு’ணோஷி தந்நிமித்தம் அஸ்மாகம்’ பூர்வ்வபுருஷாணாம் ஈஸ்²வரஸ்த்வாம்’ மநோநீதம்’ க்ரு’தவாநம்’|
15 For you will be a witness for Him to all men of what you have seen and heard.
யதோ யத்³யத்³ அத்³ராக்ஷீரஸ்²ரௌஷீஸ்²ச ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ மாநவாநாம்’ ஸமீபே த்வம்’ தேஷாம்’ ஸாக்ஷீ ப⁴விஷ்யஸி|
16 And now why delay you? Having arisen do yourself be baptized and do yourself wash away the sins of you calling on the name (of Him. *N(K)O*)
அதஏவ குதோ விலம்ப³ஸே? ப்ரபோ⁴ ர்நாம்நா ப்ரார்த்²ய நிஜபாபப்ரக்ஷாலநார்த²ம்’ மஜ்ஜநாய ஸமுத்திஷ்ட²|
17 It happened then to me having returned to Jerusalem and praying by me in the temple falling I into a trance
தத: பரம்’ யிரூஸா²லம்நக³ரம்’ ப்ரத்யாக³த்ய மந்தி³ரே(அ)ஹம் ஏகதா³ ப்ரார்த²யே, தஸ்மிந் ஸமயே(அ)ஹம் அபி⁴பூ⁴த: ஸந் ப்ரபூ⁴ம்’ ஸாக்ஷாத் பஸ்²யந்,
18 and seeing Him saying to me; do make haste and do go away with speed out of Jerusalem, because not they will receive your (*k*) testimony about Me.
த்வம்’ த்வரயா யிரூஸா²லம: ப்ரதிஷ்ட²ஸ்வ யதோ லோகாமயி தவ ஸாக்ஷ்யம்’ ந க்³ரஹீஷ்யந்தி, மாம்ப்ரத்யுதி³தம்’ தஸ்யேத³ம்’ வாக்யம் அஸ்²ரௌஷம்|
19 And I myself And I myself said; Lord, they themselves know that I myself was imprisoning and beating in each of those synagogues those believing on You;
ததோஹம்’ ப்ரத்யவாதி³ஷம் ஹே ப்ரபோ⁴ ப்ரதிப⁴ஜநப⁴வநம்’ த்வயி விஸ்²வாஸிநோ லோகாந் ப³த்³த்⁴வா ப்ரஹ்ரு’தவாந்,
20 And when was poured out the blood of Stephen the witness of You, also I myself was already standing by and consenting (to the killing of him *K*) and watching over the garments of those executing him.
ததா² தவ ஸாக்ஷிண: ஸ்திபா²நஸ்ய ரக்தபாதநஸமயே தஸ்ய விநாஸ²ம்’ ஸம்மந்ய ஸந்நிதௌ⁴ திஷ்ட²ந் ஹந்த்ரு’லோகாநாம்’ வாஸாம்’ஸி ரக்ஷிதவாந், ஏதத் தே விது³: |
21 And He said to me; do go, for I myself to [the] Gentiles far away will send you.
தத: ஸோ(அ)கத²யத் ப்ரதிஷ்ட²ஸ்வ த்வாம்’ தூ³ரஸ்த²பி⁴ந்நதே³ஸீ²யாநாம்’ ஸமீபம்’ ப்ரேஷயிஷ்யே|
22 They were listening now to him until this word and they lifted up the voice of them saying; Away from the earth [with] such; Not for (it was proper *N(k)O*) [for] him to live!
ததா³ லோகா ஏதாவத்பர்ய்யந்தாம்’ ததீ³யாம்’ கதா²ம்’ ஸ்²ருத்வா ப்ரோச்சைரகத²யந், ஏநம்’ பூ⁴மண்ட³லாத்³ தூ³ரீகுருத, ஏதாத்³ரு’ஸ²ஜநஸ்ய ஜீவநம்’ நோசிதம்|
23 (While shouting out *NK(o)*) (then *N(k)O*) they and casting off the garments and dust throwing into the air
இத்யுச்சை: கத²யித்வா வஸநாநி பரித்யஜ்ய க³க³ணம்’ ப்ரதி தூ⁴லீரக்ஷிபந்
24 Ordered the commander (to be brought in *N(k)O*) him into the barracks having directed by flogging to be examined him, so that he may know for what cause like this they were crying out against him.
தத: ஸஹஸ்ரஸேநாபதி: பௌலம்’ து³ர்கா³ப்⁴யந்தர நேதும்’ ஸமாதி³ஸ²த்| ஏதஸ்ய ப்ரதிகூலா: ஸந்தோ லோகா: கிந்நிமித்தம் ஏதாவது³ச்சை: ஸ்வரம் அகுர்வ்வந், ஏதத்³ வேத்தும்’ தம்’ கஸ²யா ப்ரஹ்ரு’த்ய தஸ்ய பரீக்ஷாம்’ கர்த்துமாதி³ஸ²த்|
25 As however (they stretched forward *N(k)O*) him with the straps, said to the already standing by centurion Paul; If a man a Roman and uncondemned it is lawful to you to flog?
பதா³தயஸ்²சர்ம்மநிர்ம்மிதரஜ்ஜுபி⁴ஸ்தஸ்ய ப³ந்த⁴நம்’ கர்த்துமுத்³யதாஸ்தாஸ்ததா³நீம்’ பௌல: ஸம்முக²ஸ்தி²தம்’ ஸ²தஸேநாபதிம் உக்தவாந் த³ண்டா³ஜ்ஞாயாம் அப்ராப்தாயாம்’ கிம்’ ரோமிலோகம்’ ப்ரஹர்த்தும்’ யுஷ்மாகம் அதி⁴காரோஸ்தி?
26 Having heard then the centurion having gone to the commander he reported [it] saying; (do you see *K*) what are you going to do? for man this a Roman is.
ஏநாம்’ கதா²ம்’ ஸ்²ருத்வா ஸ ஸஹஸ்ரஸேநாபதே: ஸந்நிதி⁴ம்’ க³த்வா தாம்’ வார்த்தாமவத³த் ஸ ரோமிலோக ஏதஸ்மாத் ஸாவதா⁴ந: ஸந் கர்ம்ம குரு|
27 Having come near then the commander said to him; do tell me, (if *k*) you yourself a Roman are? And he was saying; Yes.
தஸ்மாத் ஸஹஸ்ரஸேநாபதி ர்க³த்வா தமப்ராக்ஷீத் த்வம்’ கிம்’ ரோமிலோக: ? இதி மாம்’ ப்³ரூஹி| ஸோ(அ)கத²யத் ஸத்யம்|
28 Answered (then *N(k)O*) the commander; I myself with a great sum citizenship this bought. But Paul was saying; I myself however even has been born [so].
தத: ஸஹஸ்ரஸேநாபதி: கதி²தவாந் ப³ஹுத்³ரவிணம்’ த³த்த்வாஹம்’ தத் பௌரஸக்²யம்’ ப்ராப்தவாந்; கிந்து பௌல: கதி²தவாந் அஹம்’ ஜநுநா தத் ப்ராப்தோ(அ)ஸ்மி|
29 Immediately therefore departed from him those being about him to examine. and the commander also was afraid having ascertained that a Roman he is and because him he had having bound.
இத்த²ம்’ ஸதி யே ப்ரஹாரேண தம்’ பரீக்ஷிதும்’ ஸமுத்³யதா ஆஸந் தே தஸ்ய ஸமீபாத் ப்ராதிஷ்ட²ந்த; ஸஹஸ்ரஸேநாபதிஸ்தம்’ ரோமிலோகம்’ விஜ்ஞாய ஸ்வயம்’ யத் தஸ்ய ப³ந்த⁴நம் அகார்ஷீத் தத்காரணாத்³ அபி³பே⁴த்|
30 On the now next day desiring to know for certain why he is accused (by *N(k)O*) the Jews, he unbound him (from the chains *K*) and commanded (to assemble *N(k)O*) the chief priests and (all *N(k)O*) the council (of them, *k*) And having brought down Paul he set [him] among them.
யிஹூதீ³யலோகா: பௌலம்’ குதோ(அ)பவத³ந்தே தஸ்ய வ்ரு’த்தாந்தம்’ ஜ்ஞாதும்’ வாஞ்ச²ந் ஸஹஸ்ரஸேநாபதி: பரே(அ)ஹநி பௌலம்’ ப³ந்த⁴நாத் மோசயித்வா ப்ரதா⁴நயாஜகாந் மஹாஸபா⁴யா: ஸர்வ்வலோகாஸ்²ச ஸமுபஸ்தா²தும் ஆதி³ஸ்²ய தேஷாம்’ ஸந்நிதௌ⁴ பௌலம் அவரோஹ்ய ஸ்தா²பிதவாந்|
