Acts 22
1 Men brothers and fathers, do hear of me the to you (now *N(k)O*) defense.
ഹേ പിതൃഗണാ ഹേ ഭ്രാതൃഗണാഃ, ഇദാനീം മമ നിവേദനേ സമവധത്ത|
2 Having heard then that in the Hebrew language he was addressing them, even more they became quiet. And he says;
തദാ സ ഇബ്രീയഭാഷയാ കഥാം കഥയതീതി ശ്രുത്വാ സർവ്വേ ലോകാ അതീവ നിഃശബ്ദാ സന്തോഽതിഷ്ഠൻ|
3 I myself (indeed *k*) am a man Jewish born in Tarsus of Cilicia, brought up however in city this at the feet of Gamaliel instructed according to [the] exactness of the of our Fathers law, a zealous one being for God even as all you yourselves are this day,
പശ്ചാത് സോഽകഥയദ് അഹം യിഹൂദീയ ഇതി നിശ്ചയഃ കിലികിയാദേശസ്യ താർഷനഗരം മമ ജന്മഭൂമിഃ, ഏതന്നഗരീയസ്യ ഗമിലീയേലനാമ്നോഽധ്യാപകസ്യ ശിഷ്യോ ഭൂത്വാ പൂർവ്വപുരുഷാണാം വിധിവ്യവസ്ഥാനുസാരേണ സമ്പൂർണരൂപേണ ശിക്ഷിതോഽഭവമ് ഇദാനീന്തനാ യൂയം യാദൃശാ ഭവഥ താദൃശോഽഹമപീശ്വരസേവായാമ് ഉദ്യോഗീ ജാതഃ|
4 who this Way persecuted as far as death binding and betraying to prisons men both and women,
മതമേതദ് ദ്വിഷ്ട്വാ തദ്ഗ്രാഹിനാരീപുരുഷാൻ കാരായാം ബദ്ധ്വാ തേഷാം പ്രാണനാശപര്യ്യന്താം വിപക്ഷതാമ് അകരവമ്|
5 as also the high priest bears witness to me and all the elderhood, from whom also letters having received to the brothers to Damascus I was on my way going to bring also those there being bound to Jerusalem in order that they may be punished.
മഹായാജകഃ സഭാസദഃ പ്രാചീനലോകാശ്ച മമൈതസ്യാഃ കഥായാഃ പ്രമാണം ദാതും ശക്നുവന്തി, യസ്മാത് തേഷാം സമീപാദ് ദമ്മേഷകനഗരനിവാസിഭ്രാതൃഗണാർഥമ് ആജ്ഞാപത്രാണി ഗൃഹീത്വാ യേ തത്ര സ്ഥിതാസ്താൻ ദണ്ഡയിതും യിരൂശാലമമ് ആനയനാർഥം ദമ്മേഷകനഗരം ഗതോസ്മി|
6 It happened however to me journeying and drawing near to Damascus about noon suddenly out of heaven shining a light great around me myself;
കിന്തു ഗച്ഛൻ തന്നഗരസ്യ സമീപം പ്രാപ്തവാൻ തദാ ദ്വിതീയപ്രഹരവേലായാം സത്യാമ് അകസ്മാദ് ഗഗണാന്നിർഗത്യ മഹതീ ദീപ്തി ർമമ ചതുർദിശി പ്രകാശിതവതീ|
7 I fell then to the ground and heard a voice saying to me; Saul Saul, why Me persecute you?
തതോ മയി ഭൂമൗ പതിതേ സതി, ഹേ ശൗല ഹേ ശൗല കുതോ മാം താഡയസി? മാമ്പ്രതി ഭാഷിത ഏതാദൃശ ഏകോ രവോപി മയാ ശ്രുതഃ|
8 I myself then answered; Who are You Lord? He said then to me; I myself am Jesus of Nazareth whom you yourself are persecuting.
തദാഹം പ്രത്യവദം, ഹേ പ്രഭേ കോ ഭവാൻ? തതഃ സോഽവാദീത് യം ത്വം താഡയസി സ നാസരതീയോ യീശുരഹം|
9 Those then with me myself being the indeed light beheld (and terrified they were *K*) the however voice not did they hear the [One] speaking to me.
മമ സങ്ഗിനോ ലോകാസ്താം ദീപ്തിം ദൃഷ്ട്വാ ഭിയം പ്രാപ്താഃ, കിന്തു മാമ്പ്രത്യുദിതം തദ്വാക്യം തേ നാബുധ്യന്ത|
10 I said then; What shall I do Lord? And the Lord said to me; Having risen up do go to Damascus, and there and there you it will be told concerning all things that it has been appointed you to do.
തതഃ പരം പൃഷ്ടവാനഹം, ഹേ പ്രഭോ മയാ കിം കർത്തവ്യം? തതഃ പ്രഭുരകഥയത്, ഉത്ഥായ ദമ്മേഷകനഗരം യാഹി ത്വയാ യദ്യത് കർത്തവ്യം നിരൂപിതമാസ്തേ തത് തത്ര ത്വം ജ്ഞാപയിഷ്യസേ|
11 While now not I was seeing because of the brightness of the light that, being led by the hand by those being with me I came to Damascus.
അനന്തരം തസ്യാഃ ഖരതരദീപ്തേഃ കാരണാത് കിമപി ന ദൃഷ്ട്വാ സങ്ഗിഗണേന ധൃതഹസ്തഃ സൻ ദമ്മേഷകനഗരം വ്രജിതവാൻ|
12 Ananias then certain, a man (devout *N(k)O*) according to the law, borne witness to by all the dwelling [there] Jews,
തന്നഗരനിവാസിനാം സർവ്വേഷാം യിഹൂദീയാനാം മാന്യോ വ്യവസ്ഥാനുസാരേണ ഭക്തശ്ച ഹനാനീയനാമാ മാനവ ഏകോ
13 having come to me and having stood by [me] he said to me; Saul brother, do receive sight. And I myself And I myself on the same hour looked up at him.
മമ സന്നിധിമ് ഏത്യ തിഷ്ഠൻ അകഥയത്, ഹേ ഭ്രാതഃ ശൗല സുദൃഷ്ടി ർഭവ തസ്മിൻ ദണ്ഡേഽഹം സമ്യക് തം ദൃഷ്ടവാൻ|
14 And he said; The God of the fathers of us has appointed you to know the will of Him and to see the Righteous One and to hear [the] voice out of the mouth of Him;
തതഃ സ മഹ്യം കഥിതവാൻ യഥാ ത്വമ് ഈശ്വരസ്യാഭിപ്രായം വേത്സി തസ്യ ശുദ്ധസത്ത്വജനസ്യ ദർശനം പ്രാപ്യ തസ്യ ശ്രീമുഖസ്യ വാക്യം ശൃണോഷി തന്നിമിത്തമ് അസ്മാകം പൂർവ്വപുരുഷാണാമ് ഈശ്വരസ്ത്വാം മനോനീതം കൃതവാനം|
15 For you will be a witness for Him to all men of what you have seen and heard.
യതോ യദ്യദ് അദ്രാക്ഷീരശ്രൗഷീശ്ച സർവ്വേഷാം മാനവാനാം സമീപേ ത്വം തേഷാം സാക്ഷീ ഭവിഷ്യസി|
16 And now why delay you? Having arisen do yourself be baptized and do yourself wash away the sins of you calling on the name (of Him. *N(K)O*)
അതഏവ കുതോ വിലമ്ബസേ? പ്രഭോ ർനാമ്നാ പ്രാർഥ്യ നിജപാപപ്രക്ഷാലനാർഥം മജ്ജനായ സമുത്തിഷ്ഠ|
17 It happened then to me having returned to Jerusalem and praying by me in the temple falling I into a trance
തതഃ പരം യിരൂശാലമ്നഗരം പ്രത്യാഗത്യ മന്ദിരേഽഹമ് ഏകദാ പ്രാർഥയേ, തസ്മിൻ സമയേഽഹമ് അഭിഭൂതഃ സൻ പ്രഭൂം സാക്ഷാത് പശ്യൻ,
18 and seeing Him saying to me; do make haste and do go away with speed out of Jerusalem, because not they will receive your (*k*) testimony about Me.
ത്വം ത്വരയാ യിരൂശാലമഃ പ്രതിഷ്ഠസ്വ യതോ ലോകാമയി തവ സാക്ഷ്യം ന ഗ്രഹീഷ്യന്തി, മാമ്പ്രത്യുദിതം തസ്യേദം വാക്യമ് അശ്രൗഷമ്|
19 And I myself And I myself said; Lord, they themselves know that I myself was imprisoning and beating in each of those synagogues those believing on You;
തതോഹം പ്രത്യവാദിഷമ് ഹേ പ്രഭോ പ്രതിഭജനഭവനം ത്വയി വിശ്വാസിനോ ലോകാൻ ബദ്ധ്വാ പ്രഹൃതവാൻ,
20 And when was poured out the blood of Stephen the witness of You, also I myself was already standing by and consenting (to the killing of him *K*) and watching over the garments of those executing him.
തഥാ തവ സാക്ഷിണഃ സ്തിഫാനസ്യ രക്തപാതനസമയേ തസ്യ വിനാശം സമ്മന്യ സന്നിധൗ തിഷ്ഠൻ ഹന്തൃലോകാനാം വാസാംസി രക്ഷിതവാൻ, ഏതത് തേ വിദുഃ|
21 And He said to me; do go, for I myself to [the] Gentiles far away will send you.
തതഃ സോഽകഥയത് പ്രതിഷ്ഠസ്വ ത്വാം ദൂരസ്ഥഭിന്നദേശീയാനാം സമീപം പ്രേഷയിഷ്യേ|
22 They were listening now to him until this word and they lifted up the voice of them saying; Away from the earth [with] such; Not for (it was proper *N(k)O*) [for] him to live!
തദാ ലോകാ ഏതാവത്പര്യ്യന്താം തദീയാം കഥാം ശ്രുത്വാ പ്രോച്ചൈരകഥയൻ, ഏനം ഭൂമണ്ഡലാദ് ദൂരീകുരുത, ഏതാദൃശജനസ്യ ജീവനം നോചിതമ്|
23 (While shouting out *NK(o)*) (then *N(k)O*) they and casting off the garments and dust throwing into the air
ഇത്യുച്ചൈഃ കഥയിത്വാ വസനാനി പരിത്യജ്യ ഗഗണം പ്രതി ധൂലീരക്ഷിപൻ
24 Ordered the commander (to be brought in *N(k)O*) him into the barracks having directed by flogging to be examined him, so that he may know for what cause like this they were crying out against him.
തതഃ സഹസ്രസേനാപതിഃ പൗലം ദുർഗാഭ്യന്തര നേതും സമാദിശത്| ഏതസ്യ പ്രതികൂലാഃ സന്തോ ലോകാഃ കിന്നിമിത്തമ് ഏതാവദുച്ചൈഃസ്വരമ് അകുർവ്വൻ, ഏതദ് വേത്തും തം കശയാ പ്രഹൃത്യ തസ്യ പരീക്ഷാം കർത്തുമാദിശത്|
25 As however (they stretched forward *N(k)O*) him with the straps, said to the already standing by centurion Paul; If a man a Roman and uncondemned it is lawful to you to flog?
പദാതയശ്ചർമ്മനിർമ്മിതരജ്ജുഭിസ്തസ്യ ബന്ധനം കർത്തുമുദ്യതാസ്താസ്തദാനീം പൗലഃ സമ്മുഖസ്ഥിതം ശതസേനാപതിമ് ഉക്തവാൻ ദണ്ഡാജ്ഞായാമ് അപ്രാപ്തായാം കിം രോമിലോകം പ്രഹർത്തും യുഷ്മാകമ് അധികാരോസ്തി?
26 Having heard then the centurion having gone to the commander he reported [it] saying; (do you see *K*) what are you going to do? for man this a Roman is.
ഏനാം കഥാം ശ്രുത്വാ സ സഹസ്രസേനാപതേഃ സന്നിധിം ഗത്വാ താം വാർത്താമവദത് സ രോമിലോക ഏതസ്മാത് സാവധാനഃ സൻ കർമ്മ കുരു|
27 Having come near then the commander said to him; do tell me, (if *k*) you yourself a Roman are? And he was saying; Yes.
തസ്മാത് സഹസ്രസേനാപതി ർഗത്വാ തമപ്രാക്ഷീത് ത്വം കിം രോമിലോകഃ? ഇതി മാം ബ്രൂഹി| സോഽകഥയത് സത്യമ്|
28 Answered (then *N(k)O*) the commander; I myself with a great sum citizenship this bought. But Paul was saying; I myself however even has been born [so].
തതഃ സഹസ്രസേനാപതിഃ കഥിതവാൻ ബഹുദ്രവിണം ദത്ത്വാഹം തത് പൗരസഖ്യം പ്രാപ്തവാൻ; കിന്തു പൗലഃ കഥിതവാൻ അഹം ജനുനാ തത് പ്രാപ്തോഽസ്മി|
29 Immediately therefore departed from him those being about him to examine. and the commander also was afraid having ascertained that a Roman he is and because him he had having bound.
ഇത്ഥം സതി യേ പ്രഹാരേണ തം പരീക്ഷിതും സമുദ്യതാ ആസൻ തേ തസ്യ സമീപാത് പ്രാതിഷ്ഠന്ത; സഹസ്രസേനാപതിസ്തം രോമിലോകം വിജ്ഞായ സ്വയം യത് തസ്യ ബന്ധനമ് അകാർഷീത് തത്കാരണാദ് അബിഭേത്|
30 On the now next day desiring to know for certain why he is accused (by *N(k)O*) the Jews, he unbound him (from the chains *K*) and commanded (to assemble *N(k)O*) the chief priests and (all *N(k)O*) the council (of them, *k*) And having brought down Paul he set [him] among them.
യിഹൂദീയലോകാഃ പൗലം കുതോഽപവദന്തേ തസ്യ വൃത്താന്തം ജ്ഞാതും വാഞ്ഛൻ സഹസ്രസേനാപതിഃ പരേഽഹനി പൗലം ബന്ധനാത് മോചയിത്വാ പ്രധാനയാജകാൻ മഹാസഭായാഃ സർവ്വലോകാശ്ച സമുപസ്ഥാതുമ് ആദിശ്യ തേഷാം സന്നിധൗ പൗലമ് അവരോഹ്യ സ്ഥാപിതവാൻ|
