< Acts 20 >

1 After now ceasing the uproar (having summoned [him] *N(k)O*) Paul the disciples and (having encouraged *NO*) having said farewell he departed (to go *N(k)O*) to (*k*) Macedonia.
اِتّھَں کَلَہے نِورِتّے سَتِ پَولَح شِشْیَگَنَمْ آہُویَ وِسَرْجَنَں پْراپْیَ ماکِدَنِیادیشَں پْرَسْتھِتَوانْ۔
2 Having passed through then the districts those and having exhorted them with talk much he came to Greece;
تینَ سْتھانینَ گَچّھَنْ تَدّیشِییانْ شِشْیانْ بَہُوپَدِشْیَ یُونانِییَدیشَمْ اُپَسْتھِتَوانْ۔
3 Having continued then months three, having been made a plot against him by the Jews he being about to sail into Syria, arose (a purpose *N(k)O*) to return through Macedonia.
تَتْرَ ماسَتْرَیَں سْتھِتْوا تَسْماتْ سُرِیادیشَں یاتُمْ اُدْیَتَح، کِنْتُ یِہُودِییاسْتَں ہَنْتُں گُپْتا اَتِشْٹھَنْ تَسْماتْ سَ پُنَرَپِ ماکِدَنِیامارْگینَ پْرَتْیاگَنْتُں مَتِں کرِتَوانْ۔
4 Was accompanied by then him (until Asia *KO*) Sopater ([son] of Pyrrhus *NO*) a Berean, of the Thessalonians now Aristarchus and Secundus and Gaius of Derbe and Timothy; [the] Asians now Tychicus and Trophimus,
بِرَیانَگَرِییَسوپاتْرَح تھِشَلَنِیکِییارِسْتارْکھَسِکُنْدَو دَرْبّونَگَرِییَگایَتِیمَتھِیَو آشِیادیشِییَتُکھِکَتْرَپھِمَو چَ تینَ سارْدّھَں آشِیادیشَں یاوَدْ گَتَوَنْتَح۔
5 These (also *no*) (having gone ahead *NK(o)*) were awaiting us in Troas;
ایتے سَرْوّے گْرَسَراح سَنْتو سْمانْ اَپیکْشْیَ تْرویانَگَرے سْتھِتَوَنْتَح۔
6 We ourselves then sailed away after the days of the Unleavened Bread from Philippi and we came to them at Troas within days five (where *N(k)O*) we stayed days seven.
کِنْوَشُونْیَپُوپوتْسَوَدِنے چَ گَتے سَتِ وَیَں پھِلِپِینَگَراتْ تویَپَتھینَ گَتْوا پَنْچَبھِ رْدِنَیسْتْرویانَگَرَمْ اُپَسْتھایَ تَتْرَ سَپْتَدِنانْیَواتِشْٹھامَ۔
7 In then the first [day] of the week come together (we *N(K)O*) (disciples for the *K*) breaking of bread Paul was talking to them about to depart on the next day he was continuing then the talk until midnight;
سَپْتاہَسْیَ پْرَتھَمَدِنے پُوپانْ بھَںکْتُ شِشْییشُ مِلِتیشُ پَولَح پَرَدِنے تَسْماتْ پْرَسْتھاتُمْ اُدْیَتَح سَنْ تَدَہْنِ پْرایینَ کْشَپایا یامَدْوَیَں یاوَتْ شِشْییبھْیو دھَرْمَّکَتھامْ اَکَتھَیَتْ۔
8 There were now lamps many in the upper room where (we were *N(K)O*) assembled.
اُپَرِسْتھے یَسْمِنْ پْرَکوشْٹھے سَبھاں کرِتْواسَنْ تَتْرَ بَہَوَح پْرَدِیپاح پْراجْوَلَنْ۔
9 (sitting *N(k)O*) then a certain young man named Eutychus by the window, overpowered by sleep deep as is talking Paul on longer, having been overpowered by the sleep he fell from the third story down and was picked up dead.
اُتُکھَناما کَشْچَنَ یُوا چَ واتایَنَ اُپَوِشَنْ گھورَتَرَنِدْراگْرَسْتو بھُوتْ تَدا پَولینَ بَہُکْشَنَں کَتھایاں پْرَچارِتایاں نِدْرامَگْنَح سَ تَسْمادْ اُپَرِسْتھَترِتِییَپْرَکوشْٹھادْ اَپَتَتْ، تَتو لوکاسْتَں مرِتَکَلْپَں دھرِتْوودَتولَیَنْ۔
10 Having descended however Paul fell upon him and having embraced [him] said; Not do be alarmed; the for life of him in him is.
تَتَح پَولووَرُہْیَ تَسْیَ گاتْرے پَتِتْوا تَں کْروڈے نِدھایَ کَتھِتَوانْ، یُویَں وْیاکُلا ما بھُوتَ نایَں پْرانَے رْوِیُکْتَح۔
11 Having gone up then and having broken (the *no*) bread and having eaten, for long and having talked until daybreak, so he departed.
پَشْچاتْ سَ پُنَشْچوپَرِ گَتْوا پُوپانْ بھَںکْتْوا پْرَبھاتَں یاوَتْ کَتھوپَکَتھَنے کرِتْوا پْرَسْتھِتَوانْ۔
12 They brought then the boy alive and were comforted not a little.
تے چَ تَں جِیوَنْتَں یُوانَں گرِہِیتْوا گَتْوا پَرَماپْیایِتا جاتاح۔
13 We ourselves however (having gone ahead to *NK(o)*) the ship sailed (to *N(k)O*) Assos, there being about to take in Paul; Thus for having arranged himself he was readying himself to go on foot.
اَنَنْتَرَں وَیَں پوتیناگْرَسَرا بھُوتْواسْمَنَگَرَمْ اُتِّیرْیَّ پَولَں گْرَہِیتُں مَتِمْ اَکُرْمَّ یَتَح سَ تَتْرَ پَدْبھْیاں وْرَجِتُں مَتِں کرِتْویتِ نِرُوپِتَوانْ۔
14 When now (he was meeting with *N(k)O*) us at Assos, having taken in him we came to Mitylene;
تَسْماتْ تَتْراسْمابھِح سارْدّھَں تَسْمِنْ مِلِتے سَتِ وَیَں تَں نِیتْوا مِتُلِینْیُپَدْوِیپَں پْراپْتَوَنْتَح۔
15 And from there And from there having sailed away on the following [day] we arrived (opposite *N(k)O*) Chios, on the then next [day] we arrived at Samos (and await in Trogyllium *K*) on the (and *no*) following [day] we came to Miletus.
تَسْماتْ پوتَں موچَیِتْوا پَرےہَنِ کھِییوپَدْوِیپَسْیَ سَمُّکھَں لَبْدھَوَنْتَسْتَسْمادْ ایکیناہْنا ساموپَدْوِیپَں گَتْوا پوتَں لاگَیِتْوا تْروگُلِّیے سْتھِتْوا پَرَسْمِنْ دِوَسے مِلِیتَنَگَرَمْ اُپاتِشْٹھامَ۔
16 (Had decided *N(k)O*) for Paul to sail by Ephesus, so that not it may happen to him to spend time in Asia; he was hastened for if possible (it would be *N(k)O*) for him on the day of Pentecost to be in Jerusalem.
یَتَح پَولَ آشِیادیشے کالَں یاپَیِتُمْ نابھِلَشَنْ اِپھِشَنَگَرَں تْیَکْتْوا یاتُں مَنْتْرَناں سْتھِرِیکرِتَوانْ؛ یَسْمادْ یَدِ سادھْیَں بھَوَتِ تَرْہِ نِسْتاروتْسَوَسْیَ پَنْچاشَتَّمَدِنے سَ یِرُوشالَمْیُپَسْتھاتُں مَتِں کرِتَوانْ۔
17 From then Miletus having sent to Ephesus he called for the elders of the church.
پَولو مِلِیتادْ اِپھِشَں پْرَتِ لوکَں پْرَہِتْیَ سَماجَسْیَ پْراچِینانْ آہُویانِیتَوانْ۔
18 When then they had come to him he said to them; You yourselves know from [the] first day on which I arrived in Asia how with you the whole time I was
تیشُ تَسْیَ سَمِیپَمْ اُپَسْتھِتیشُ سَ تیبھْیَ اِماں کَتھاں کَتھِتَوانْ، اَہَمْ آشِیادیشے پْرَتھَماگَمَنَمْ آرَبھْیادْیَ یاوَدْ یُشْماکَں سَنِّدھَو سْتھِتْوا سَرْوَّسَمَیے یَتھاچَرِتَوانْ تَدْ یُویَں جانِیتھَ؛
19 serving the Lord with all humility and (many *K*) tears and trials that were happening to me in the plots of the Jews;
پھَلَتَح سَرْوَّتھا نَمْرَمَناح سَنْ بَہُشْرُپاتینَ یِہُدِییانامْ کُمَنْتْرَناجاتَناناپَرِیکْشابھِح پْرَبھوح سیوامَکَرَوَں۔
20 how no [thing] I did shrink back of that being profitable not to declare to you and to teach you publicly and from house to house,
کامَپِ ہِتَکَتھاں نَ گوپایِتَوانْ تاں پْرَچارْیَّ سَپْرَکاشَں گرِہے گرِہے سَمُپَدِشْییشْوَرَں پْرَتِ مَنَح پَراوَرْتَّنِییَں پْرَبھَو یِیشُکھْرِیشْٹے وِشْوَسَنِییَں
21 earnestly testifying to Jews both and to Greeks in (*k*) God repentance and faith (*k*) in the Lord of us Jesus (Christ. *KO*)
یِہُودِییانامْ اَنْیَدیشِییَلوکانانْچَ سَمِیپَ ایتادرِشَں ساکْشْیَں دَدامِ۔
22 And now behold bound I myself in the Spirit go to Jerusalem what in it will happen to me not knowing,
پَشْیَتَ سامْپْرَتَمْ آتْمَناکرِشْٹَح سَنْ یِرُوشالَمْنَگَرے یاتْراں کَرومِ، تَتْرَ مامْپْرَتِ یَدْیَدْ گھَٹِشْیَتے تانْیَہَں نَ جانامِ؛
23 except that the Spirit Holy in every city fully testifies (to me *NO*) saying that chains and tribulations me await.
کِنْتُ مَیا بَنْدھَنَں کْلیشَشْچَ بھوکْتَوْیَ اِتِ پَوِتْرَ آتْما نَگَرے نَگَرے پْرَمانَں دَداتِ۔
24 But not of any (account *N(k)O*) I make (nor I have *K*) the life (of mine *k*) dear to myself, so as (to finish *NK(o)*) the course of mine (with joy *K*) and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify fully the gospel of the grace of God.
تَتھاپِ تَں کْلیشَمَہَں ترِنایَ نَ مَنْیے؛ اِیشْوَرَسْیانُگْرَہَوِشَیَکَسْیَ سُسَںوادَسْیَ پْرَمانَں داتُں، پْرَبھو رْیِیشوح سَکاشادَ یَسْیاح سیوایاح بھارَں پْراپْنَوَں تاں سیواں سادھَیِتُں سانَنْدَں سْوَمارْگَں سَماپَیِتُنْچَ نِجَپْرانانَپِ پْرِیانْ نَ مَنْیے۔
25 And now behold I myself know that no longer no longer you will behold the face of me you yourselves all among whom I have gone about proclaiming the kingdom (of the God. *K*)
اَدھُنا پَشْیَتَ ییشاں سَمِیپےہَمْ اِیشْوَرِییَراجْیَسْیَ سُسَںوادَں پْرَچارْیَّ بھْرَمَنَں کرِتَوانْ ایتادرِشا یُویَں مَمَ وَدَنَں پُنَ رْدْرَشْٹُں نَ پْراپْسْیَتھَ ایتَدَپْیَہَں جانامِ۔
26 (therefore *N(k)O*) I testify to you in this day that innocent (I am *N(k)O*) of the blood of all;
یُشْمَبھْیَمْ اَہَمْ اِیشْوَرَسْیَ سَرْوّانْ آدیشانْ پْرَکاشَیِتُں نَ نْیَوَرْتّے۔
27 not for I shrunk back not [from] declaring all the counsel of God to you.
اَہَں سَرْوّیشاں لوکاناں رَکْتَپاتَدوشادْ یَنِّرْدوشَ آسے تَسْیادْیَ یُشْمانْ ساکْشِنَح کَرومِ۔
28 do take heed (therefore *K*) to yourselves and to all the flock among which you the Spirit Holy has set overseers, to shepherd the church of the (Lord and *O*) God, which He purchased with blood the own.
یُویَں سْویشُ تَتھا یَسْیَ وْرَجَسْیادھْیَکْشَنْ آتْما یُشْمانْ وِدھایَ نْیَیُنْکْتَ تَتْسَرْوَّسْمِنْ ساوَدھانا بھَوَتَ، یَ سَماجَنْچَ پْرَبھُ رْنِجَرَکْتَمُولْیینَ کْرِیتَوانَ تَمْ اَوَتَ،
29 I myself (for *k*) know (this *k*) that will come in after the departure of mine wolves grievous among you not sparing the flock,
یَتو مَیا گَمَنے کرِتَایوَ دُرْجَیا ورِکا یُشْماکَں مَدھْیَں پْرَوِشْیَ وْرَجَں پْرَتِ نِرْدَیَتامْ آچَرِشْیَنْتِ،
30 and out from your own selves will rise up men speaking perverted [things] such that to draw away disciples after (them. *NK(o)*)
یُشْماکَمیوَ مَدھْیادَپِ لوکا اُتّھایَ شِشْیَگَنَمْ اَپَہَنْتُں وِپَرِیتَمْ اُپَدیکْشْیَنْتِیتْیَہَں جانامِ۔
31 Therefore do watch remembering that three years night and day not I ceased with tears admonishing one each.
اِتِ ہیتو رْیُویَں سَچَیتَنْیاح سَنْتَسْتِشْٹَتَ، اَہَنْچَ ساشْرُپاتَح سَنْ وَتْسَرَتْرَیَں یاوَدْ دِوانِشَں پْرَتِجَنَں بودھَیِتُں نَ نْیَوَرْتّے تَدَپِ سْمَرَتَ۔
32 And now I commit you (brothers *K*) (to God *NK(O)*) and to the word of the grace of Him, who is being able (to build [it] *N(k)O*) and to give (to you *k*) (the *no*) inheritance among those sanctified all.
اِدانِیں ہے بھْراتَرو یُشْماکَں نِشْٹھاں جَنَیِتُں پَوِتْرِیکرِتَلوکاناں مَدھْیےدھِکارَنْچَ داتُں سَمَرْتھو یَ اِیشْوَرَسْتَسْیانُگْرَہَسْیَ یو وادَشْچَ تَیورُبھَیو رْیُشْمانْ سَمارْپَیَمْ۔
33 Silver or gold or clothing of no [one] I coveted;
کَسْیاپِ سْوَرْنَں رُوپْیَں وَسْتْرَں وا پْرَتِ مَیا لوبھو نَ کرِتَح۔
34 You yourselves (now *k*) know that to the needs of me and to that [of those] being with me ministered to hands these.
کِنْتُ مَمَ مَتْسَہَچَرَلوکانانْچاوَشْیَکَوْیَیایَ مَدِییَمِدَں کَرَدْوَیَمْ اَشْرامْیَدْ ایتَدْ یُویَں جانِیتھَ۔
35 In everything I showed you that by thus straining it behooves [us] to aid those being weak, to remember and also the words of the Lord Jesus, how He Himself said; Blessed it is more to give than to receive.
اَنینَ پْرَکارینَ گْرَہَنَدْ دانَں بھَدْرَمِتِ یَدْواکْیَں پْرَبھُ رْیِیشُح کَتھِتَوانْ تَتْ سْمَرْتُّں دَرِدْرَلوکانامُپَکارارْتھَں شْرَمَں کَرْتُّنْچَ یُشْماکَمْ اُچِتَمْ ایتَتْسَرْوَّں یُشْمانَہَمْ اُپَدِشْٹَوانْ۔
36 And these things having said having bowed the knee of him with all them he prayed.
ایتاں کَتھاں کَتھَیِتْوا سَ جانُنِی پاتَیِتْوا سَرْوَیح سَہَ پْرارْتھَیَتَ۔
37 Much then weeping there was among all, and having fallen upon the neck of Paul they were kissing him,
تینَ تے کْرَنْدْرَنْتَح
38 sorrowing especially over the word that he had spoken that no longer no longer they are about the face of him to see. They were accompanying then him to the ship.
پُنَ رْمَمَ مُکھَں نَ دْرَکْشْیَتھَ وِشیشَتَ ایشا یا کَتھا تیناکَتھِ تَتْکارَناتْ شوکَں وِلاپَنْچَ کرِتْوا کَنْٹھَں دھرِتْوا چُمْبِتَوَنْتَح۔ پَشْچاتْ تے تَں پوتَں نِیتَوَنْتَح۔
