Acts 2
1 And during the arriving of the day of Pentecost they were (all *N(k)O*) (together *N(K)O*) in the one [place].
Le jour de la Pentecôte, ils étaient tous ensemble en un même lieu,
2 And came suddenly out of heaven a sound like [the] rushing of a wind violent and it filled all the house where they were sitting
lorsque tout à coup il se fit du ciel un bruit semblable à celui d'un violent coup de vent: ce bruit remplit toute la maison où ils étaient.
3 And there appeared to them dividing tongues as of fire (and *N(k)O*) sat upon one each of them
En même temps ils virent comme des langues de feu, qui se divisèrent et se posèrent sur chacun d'eux:
4 And they were filled with (all *N(k)O*) Spirit Holy and began to speak in other tongues even as the Spirit was giving to utter forth to them.
ils furent tous remplis du Saint-Esprit, et se mirent à parler des langues étrangères, selon que l'Esprit leur donnait de s'exprimer.
5 Were now (in *N(k)O*) Jerusalem dwelling Jews, men devout from every nation of those under heaven.
Or il y avait en séjour à Jérusalem, des Juifs, hommes pieux de toutes les nations qui sont sous le ciel.
6 When was happening now sound this came together the multitude and was confounded, because (was hearing *NK(o)*) one each in their own language speaking them.
A ce bruit, ils accoururent en foule, et chacun fut confondu de les entendre parler sa propre langue.
7 They were amazed then (all *KO*) and were marveling saying (to one another: *K*) (Surely *NK(o)*) behold (all *N(k)O*) these are who are speaking Galileans?
Surpris et tout étonnés, ils disaient: «Eh! ces gens qui parlent ne sont-ils pas tous Galiléens?
8 And how we ourselves hear each in the own language of us in which we were born?
Comment se fait-il que chacun de nous les entende parler la langue de son pays?
9 Parthians and Medes and Elamites and those inhabiting Mesopotamia, Judea also and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,
Nous tous, Parthes, Mèdes, Élamites, habitants de la Mésopotamie, de la Judée et de la Cappadoce, du Pont et de l'Asie,
10 Phrygia both and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya that [are] around Cyrene and those visiting [here] from Rome, Jews both and converts,
de la Phrygie et de la Pamphylie, de l'Egypte et des districts de la Libye voisine de Cyrène, et Romains, Juifs et prosélytes en passage,
11 Cretans and Arabs — [do] we hear speaking them in our own tongues the great things of God?
Crétois et Arabes, nous les entendons célébrer en nos langues les merveilles que Dieu a faites.»
12 Were amazed then all and (they were perplexed *N(k)O*) other to other saying; What (maybe *k*) (intends *N(k)O*) this to be?
Ils étaient tous surpris, et, ne sachant que penser, ils se disaient les uns aux autres: «Qu'est-ce que cela pourrait bien être?»
13 Others however (mocking *N(k)O*) were saying that Of new wine filled they are.
Toutefois d'autres se moquaient, et disaient: «Ils sont pleins de vin doux.»
14 Having stood up however (*no*) Peter with the eleven he lifted up the voice of him and spoke forth to them: Men of Judea and you who [are] inhabiting Jerusalem (all, *N(k)O*) this to you known should be and do give heed to the declarations of mine.
Pierre se présentant avec les Onze, éleva la voix, et leur adressa ces mots: «Juifs, et vous tous qui êtes en séjour à Jérusalem, retenez bien ceci, et prêtez l'oreille à mes paroles.
15 Not for as you yourselves suppose these are drunkards, it is for [the] hour third of the day,
Ces gens ne sont point ivres, comme vous le supposez, car c'est la troisième heure du jour;
16 but this is that spoken through the prophet Joel:
mais vous voyez l'accomplissement de ce qui a été dit par le prophète Joël:
17 And it will be in the last days, says God, I will pour out of the Spirit of Mine upon all flesh and will prophesy the sons of you and the daughters of you, and the young men of you visions will behold and the elders of you (dreams *N(k)O*) will dream.
«Dans les derniers temps, dit Dieu, je répandrai mon Esprit sur toute chair: vos fils et vos filles prophétiseront; vos jeunes gens auront des visions, et vos vieillards auront des songes.
18 and even upon the servants of Mine and upon the handmaidens of Mine in the days those I will pour out of the Spirit of Mine and they will prophesy.
Ce sera, du moins, sur mes serviteurs et sur mes servantes qu’à cette époque-là je répandrai mon Esprit; et ils prophétiseront.
19 and I will show wonders in heaven above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and vapor of smoke.
Je ferai paraître des prodiges en haut dans le ciel, et des miracles en bas sur la terre, du sang, du feu et une épaisse fumée.
20 The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before (than *ko*) coming (the *ko*) day of [the] Lord great and glorious.
Le soleil sera changé en ténèbres, et la lune, en sang, avant que vienne la grande et éclatante journée du Seigneur.
21 And it will be, everyone who (when *NK(o)*) they shall call upon the name of [the] Lord will be saved.’
Alors quiconque invoquera le nom du Seigneur, sera sauvé.»
22 Men Israelites, do hear words these: Jesus of Nazareth, a man set forth by God to you by miracles and by wonders and by signs which did through Him God in [the] midst of you, even as (also *k*) you yourselves know,
«Israélites, écoutez ce que je vais vous dire: Un homme a été marqué de Dieu, en vue de vous, par les miracles, les prodiges et les signes que Dieu a opérés par lui, au milieu de vous, comme vous le savez vous-mêmes: c'est Jésus de Nazareth.
23 Him by the determined plan and foreknowledge of God delivered up (having taken *K*) through (hand *N(k)O*) lawless having crucified You executed,
Cet homme, qui a été livré selon le plan déterminé et la prescience de Dieu, vous l'avez mis à mort par la main des impies, en le clouant au bois.
24 whom God raised up having loosed the agony of death, inasmuch as not it was possible [for] to be held Him by it.
Eh bien! Dieu l’a ressuscité en le délivrant des étreintes de la mort, attendu qu'il n'était pas possible qu'elle le tînt en sa puissance.
25 David for says about Him: I was foresseeing the Lord before me through all [times], because at [the] right hand of me He is that not I may be shaken;
En effet, David dit de lui: «J'avais continuellement le Seigneur devant les yeux, car il est à ma droite, pour que je ne sois pas ébranlé.
26 Because of this was glad the heart of mine and rejoiced the tongue of mine, and now also the flesh of mine will dwell in hope.
Aussi mon coeur a-t'il été dans la joie et ma langue dans l’allégresse; bien plus, ma chair reposera avec espérance,
27 for not You will abandon the soul of mine into (Hades, *N(k)O*) nor will You allow the Holy One of You to see decay. (Hadēs g86)
parce que tu n'abandonneras pas mon âme dans le séjour des morts, tu ne permettras pas même que ton Saint voie la corruption. (Hadēs g86)
28 You have made known to me [the] paths of life, You will fill me with joy in the presence of You.’
Tu m'as fait connaître les sentiers de la vie; tu me rempliras de joie par ta présence.»
29 Men brothers, it is permitted [me] to speak with freedom to you concerning the patriarch David that both he died and was buried and the tomb of him is among us unto day this.
Frères, qu'il me soit permis de vous dire en toute franchise, que, pour le patriarche David, il est mort, il a été enseveli, et son tombeau existe encore aujourd'hui chez nous.
30 A prophet therefore being and knowing that with an oath swore to him God out of [the] fruit of the loins of him (according to flesh going to raise up the Christ *K*) to set upon (the throne *N(k)O*) of him,
Comme il était prophète et qu'il savait que Dieu lui avait promis avec serment d'asseoir sur son trône quelqu'un de ses descendants,
31 Having foreseen he spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ that (neither was He left behind *N(k)O*) (the soul of him *K*) into (Hades nor *N(k)O*) the flesh of Him saw decay. (Hadēs g86)
il prévit la résurrection du Messie, et dit «qu'il ne serait point abandonné dans le séjour des morts, et que sa chair ne verrait pas la corruption.» (Hadēs g86)
32 This Jesus has raised up God, of which all we ourselves are witnesses.
Eh bien! ce Messie, c'est ce Jésus que Dieu a ressuscité, comme nous en sommes tous témoins:
33 To the right hand therefore of God having been exalted and the promise of the Spirit Holy having received from the Father He has poured out this which (now *k*) you yourselves (both *no*) are seeing and hearing.
il a été élevé à la droite de Dieu, et ayant reçu du Père le Saint-Esprit qu'il avait promis, il l'a répandu. C'est ce que vous voyez et entendez;
34 Not for David ascended into the heavens, he says however himself: Said the Lord to the Lord of me; do sit at [the] right hand of Me,
car David n'est point monté au ciel, mais il dit lui-même: «Le Seigneur a dit à mon Seigneur: Assieds-toi à ma droite,
35 until when I may place the enemies of You a footstool of the feet of You.’
jusqu’à ce que j’aie fait de tes ennemis ton marche-pied.
36 Assuredly therefore should know all [the] house of Israel that both Lord Him and Christ has made God — this Jesus whom you yourselves crucified.
Que toute la maison d'Israël tienne donc pour certain, que Dieu a fait Seigneur et Messie, ce Jésus que vous avez crucifié.»
37 Having heard then they were pierced (to the heart, *N(k)O*) they said then to Peter and the other apostles; What (shall we do, *N(k)O*) men brothers?
Le coeur brisé par ce discours, ils dirent à Pierre et aux autres apôtres: «Frères, que ferons-nous?»
38 Peter then to them; do repent (he declared *N(k)O*) and should be baptized every one of you (in *NK(o)*) the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness (of the *no*) sins (of you *no*) and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit;
Pierre leur dit: «Repentez-vous, et que chacun de vous soit baptisé au nom de Jésus-Christ, pour obtenir le pardon de ses péchés; et vous recevrez le don du Saint-Esprit;
39 To you for is the promise and to the children of you and to all those at a distance, as many as maybe may call to Himself [the] Lord the God of us.
car la promesse est pour vous, pour vos enfants, et pour tous ceux qui sont au loin, en aussi grand nombre que le Seigneur notre Dieu les appellera.»
40 in other And words many (he earnestly testified *N(k)O*) and was exhorting (them *no*) saying; do be saved from the generation perverse this.
Il les pressa encore par beaucoup d'autres paroles, et les exhorta en disant: «Retirez-vous de cette génération perverse.»
41 Those indeed therefore (gladly *K*) having received the word of him were baptized and were added (on *no*) the day that souls about three thousand.
Ceux qui agréèrent sa parole, reçurent le baptême, et environ trois mille personnes furent admises en ce jour-là.
42 They were now steadfastly continuing in the teaching of the apostles and in fellowship, (and *k*) in the breaking of the bread and in the prayers.
Ils étaient assidus à l’instruction des apôtres et aux réunions communes, à la fraction du pain et aux prières.
43 (There was becoming *N(k)O*) then upon every soul awe, many (and both *NK(o)*) wonders and signs through the apostles were taking place.
La crainte était dans toutes les âmes; et il se faisait un grand nombre de prodiges et de miracles par les apôtres.
44 All now those (believing *NK(o)*) were together the same and were having all things in common,
Tous les croyants se réunissaient entre eux, et avaient tout en commun:
45 and the possessions and the goods they were selling and they were dividing them to all as would anyone need had;
ils vendaient leurs propriétés et leurs biens, et en partageaient le produit entre tous, selon que quelqu'un d'entre eux en avait besoin.
46 Every day and steadfastly continuing with one accord in the temple, breaking then at each house bread they were partaking of food with gladness and sincerity of heart
Chaque jour, ils se trouvaient régulièrement, tous ensemble dans le temple, et, rompant le pain à la maison, ils prenaient leur nourriture avec joie et simplicité de coeur,
47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding those who were being saved every day (to *no*) (them. *N(k)O*)
louant Dieu et trouvant faveur auprès de tout le peuple. Le Seigneur ajoutait chaque jour à l'église ceux qui étaient sauvés.
