< Acts 12 >
1 At that [very] now time put forth Herod the king the hands to mistreat some of those of the church.

2 He executed then James the brother of John with the sword.

3 (and *k*) Having seen (now *no*) that pleasing it is to the Jews, he proceeded to take also Peter — these were now (the *no*) days of the Unleavened [Bread] —

4 whom also having seized he put in prison having delivered [him] to four sets of four soldiers to guard him, intending after the Passover to bring out him to the people.
Mushure mokumusunga, akamuisa mutorongo, akaita kuti arindwe namapoka mana avarwi, boka rimwe nerimwe riina varwi vana. Herodhi akanga achida kumumisa padare rokutongwa shure kwePasika.
5 Indeed therefore Peter was kept in the prison; prayer however was (fervently *N(k)O*) being made by the church to God (concerning *N(k)O*) him.
Saka Petro akachengetwa mutorongo, asi kereke yakanga ichimunyengeterera zvikuru kuna Mwari.
6 When then was about (to bring forth *N(k)(o)*) him Herod, in the night that [one] was Peter sleeping between two soldiers bound with chains two, guards also before the door were watching the prison.
Usiku hwaaifanira kumiswa pamberi pedare naHerodhi husati hwasvika, Petro akanga avete pakati pavarwi vaviri, akasungwa nengetani mbiri, uye varindi vakanga vakamira vakarinda vari pamukova.
7 And behold an angel of [the] Lord stood by and a light shone in the cell; Having struck then the side of Peter he woke up him saying; do rise up with speed. And fell of him the chains off the hands.
Pakarepo mutumwa waShe akaonekwa uye chiedza chakavhenekera muchitokisi. Akarova Petro parutivi ndokumumutsa achiti, “Kurumidza muka!” Ipapo ngetani dzakawa pamaoko aPetro.
8 Said (then *N(k)O*) the angel to him; (do dress yourself *N(K)O*) and do yourself put on the sandals of you. He did and so. And he says to him; do yourself wrap around the cloak of you and do follow me.
Mutumwa akati kwaari, “Pfeka nguo dzako neshangu dzako.” Uye Petro akaita saizvozvo. Mutumwa akati kwaari, “Monera jasi rako ubve wanditevera.”
9 And having gone forth he was following (him; *k*) and not did know that real is what is happening through the angel, he was thinking however a vision to see.
Petro akamutevera achibuda mutorongo, asi akanga asingazivi kuti zvaiitwa nomutumwa zvakanga zvichitoitika; akafunga kuti aiona chiratidzo.
10 Having passed through then a first guard and a second they came to the gate iron which is leading into the city, which by itself (opened *N(k)O*) to them, And having gone out they went on through street one and immediately departed the angel from him.
Vakapfuura napavarindi vokutanga nevechipiri ndokusvika pasuo resimbi rakanga rakatarira kuguta. Rakangovazarukira roga, vakapinda nepariri. Vakati vafamba kusvika kumagumo kweimwe nzira, pakarepo mutumwa akamusiya.
11 And Peter to himself having come said; Now I know truly that has sent forth (the *no*) Lord the angel of Him and delivered me out of [the] hand of Herod and all the expectation of the people of the Jews.
Ipapo Petro akapengenuka akati, “Zvino ndava kuziva ndisingatongokahadziki kuti Ishe atuma mutumwa wake uye andinunura pamaoko aHerodhi napazvinhu zvose zvanga zvakatarisirwa navanhu vechiJudha.”
12 Having considered [it] also he came to the house (*no*) of Mary the mother of John who is called Mark, where were many gathered together and praying.
Izvi zvakati zvajeka kwaari, akaenda kumba kwaMaria mai vaJohani, ainziwo Mako, uko kwakanga kwakaungana vanhu vazhinji vachinyengetera.
13 When was knocking then (*k*) (he *N(K)O*) [at] the door of the gate came a girl to answer named Rhoda;
Petro akagogodza pamukova wokunze, musikana ainzi Rodha akauya kuzodaira kugogodza uku.
14 And having recognized the voice of Peter from joy not she opened the gate having run in but she reported to have been standing Peter before the gate.
Akati anzwa kuti inzwi raPetro, akafara zvikuru akadzokera achimhanya asati atongozarura musuo akavaudza akati, “Petro ari pamukova!”
15 And to her they said; You rave. But she was insisting [it] so to be. And they were saying; The angel it is of him.
Vakati kwaari, “Wava kupenga.” Paakaramba achisimbisisa kuti zvakanga zviri izvo, ivo vakati, “Anofanira kunge ari mutumwa wake.”
16 But Peter was continuing knocking; having opened [it] then they saw him and were amazed.
Asi Petro akaramba achigogodza, uye vakati vazarura mukova, vakamuona vakashamiswa.
17 Having made a sign then to them with the hand to be silent, he related to them how the Lord him had brought out of the prison; He said (then; *N(k)O*) do report to James and to the brothers these things. And having gone out he went to another place.
Petro akaninira maoko ake kwavari kuti vanyarare ndokurondedzera kuti Ishe akanga amubudisa sei mutorongo. Akati, “Muudze Jakobho nehama pamusoro paizvozvi.” Ipapo akabva akaenda kune imwe nzvimbo.
18 When was coming now day there was disturbance no small among the soldiers what then [of] Peter has become.
Mangwanani acho, kwakava nebope guru pakati pavarwi vachida kuziva kuti chii chakanga chaitika kuna Petro.
19 Herod then having sought after him and not having found [him] having examined the guards he commanded [them] to be led away [to death], And having gone down from Judea to (*k*) Caesarea he was staying [there].
Mushure mokunge Herodhi amutsvakisisa kwazvo uye asina kumuwana, akanyatsobvunzisisa varindi ndokubva arayira kuti vaurayiwe. Ipapo Herodhi akabva kuJudhea akaenda kuKesaria akandogarako kwechinguva.
20 He was now (*k*) (Herod *K*) furiously angry with [the] Tyrians and Sidonians; with one accord then they were coming to him And having gained Blastus who [was] over the bedchamber of the king they were seeking peace, because of being nourished their region by the king’s.
Akanga atsamwirana navanhu veTire neSidhoni, ndokubva vabatana pamwe chete vakauya kwaari kuti vataure naye. Vakati vawana rutsigiro rwaBhurasto, muranda akatendeka wamambo, vakakumbira runyararo, nokuti vaipona nenyika yamambo, nokuti ndiko kwavaiwana zvokudya.
21 On the appointed now day Herod having put on apparel royal and having sat on the throne was making an address to them.
Pazuva rakanga ratarwa, Herodhi akapfeka nguo dzake dzoushe, akagara pachigaro chake choushe akataura kuvanhu.
22 And the people were crying out; Of a god [this is the] voice and not of a man!
Vakadanidzira vachiti, “Iri inzwi ramwari, kwete romunhu.”
23 Immediately then struck him an angel of [the] Lord in return for that not he gave the glory to God, and having been eaten by worms he breathed his last.
Pakarepo, nokuti Herodhi haana kurumbidza Mwari, mutumwa waShe akamurova, akadyiwa nehonye uye akafa.
24 But the word (of God *NK(O)*) was continuing to grow and was being multiplied.
Uye shoko raMwari rakaramba richikura uye richipararira.
25 Barnabas then and Saul returned (to *N(K)O*) Jerusalem having fulfilled the mission, having taken with [them] (and *k*) John the [one] having been called Mark.
Bhanabhasi naSauro vakati vapedza basa ravo, vakadzokera kuJerusarema, vakatorawo Johani, ainzi Mako.
