Acts 11
1 Heard now the apostles and the brothers those being in Judea that also the Gentiles received the word of God.
Die Apostel aber und die Brüder, die in Judäa waren, hörten, daß auch die Nationen das Wort Gottes angenommen hätten;
2 (and *k*) When (also *no*) went up Peter to (Jerusalem, *N(k)O*) were contending with him those of [the] circumcision
und als Petrus nach Jerusalem hinaufkam, stritten die aus der Beschneidung mit ihm
3 saying that (You entered *NK(O)*) to men uncircumcision having and (you ate with *NK(O)*) them.
und sagten: Du bist zu Männern eingekehrt, die Vorhaut haben, und hast mit ihnen gegessen.
4 having begun now (*k*) Peter he was explaining [it] to them in order saying;
Petrus aber fing an und setzte es ihnen der Reihe nach auseinander und sprach:
5 I myself was in [the] city of Joppa praying and I saw in a trance a vision descending a vessel certain like a sheet great by four corners being let down out of heaven, and it came down as far as me;
Ich war in der Stadt Joppe im Gebet, und ich sah in einer Entzückung ein Gesicht, wie ein gewisses Gefäß herabkam, gleich einem großen leinenen Tuche, an vier Zipfeln herniedergelassen aus dem Himmel; und es kam bis zu mir.
6 On it having looked intently I was observing [it] and I saw the quadrupeds of the earth and the wild beasts and the creeping things and the birds of the air.
Und als ich es unverwandt anschaute, bemerkte und sah ich die vierfüßigen Tiere der Erde und die wilden Tiere und die kriechenden und das Gevögel des Himmels.
7 I heard then (also *no*) a voice saying to me; Having risen up Peter, do kill and do eat.
Ich hörte aber auch eine Stimme, die zu mir sagte: Stehe auf, Petrus, schlachte und iß!
8 I said however; In no way, Lord; for (every *K*) common or unclean nothing ever has entered into the mouth of mine.
Ich sprach aber: Keineswegs, Herr! denn niemals ist Gemeines oder Unreines in meinen Mund gekommen.
9 Answered however (to me *k*) [the] voice for a second [time] out of heaven; What God has cleansed, you yourself not do call unholy.
Eine Stimme aber antwortete zum zweiten Male aus dem Himmel: Was Gott gereinigt hat, mache du nicht gemein!
10 This now happened on three times, and was drawn up again all into heaven.
Dies aber geschah dreimal; und alles wurde wiederum hinaufgezogen in den Himmel.
11 and behold immediately three men stood at the house in which (I was *N(k)O*) sent from Caesarea to me.
Und siehe, alsbald standen vor dem Hause, in welchem ich war, drei Männer, die von Cäsarea zu mir gesandt waren.
12 Told now the Spirit to me to go with them not (having discriminated. *N(k)O*) Went now with me myself also six brothers these, and we entered into the house of the man.
Der Geist aber hieß mich mit ihnen gehen, ohne irgend zu zweifeln. Es kamen aber auch diese sechs Brüder mit mir, und wir kehrten in das Haus des Mannes ein.
13 He related (then *N(k)O*) to us how he had seen the angel in the house of him having stood and having said (to him: *k*) do send forth to Joppa (men *K*) and do yourself send for Simon who is called Peter,
Und er erzählte uns, wie er den Engel gesehen habe in seinem Hause stehen und zu ihm sagen: Sende nach Joppe und laß Simon holen, der Petrus zubenamt ist;
14 who will speak declarations to you in which will be saved you yourself and all the household of you.
der wird Worte zu dir reden, durch welche du errettet werden wirst, du und dein ganzes Haus.
15 In then beginning me to speak fell the Spirit Holy upon them, even as also upon us in [the] beginning.
Indem ich aber zu reden begann, fiel der Heilige Geist auf sie, so wie auch auf uns im Anfang.
16 I remembered then the declaration (of the *no*) Lord, how He was saying: John indeed baptized with water, you yourselves however will be baptized with [the] Spirit Holy.
Ich gedachte aber an das Wort des Herrn, wie er sagte: Johannes taufte zwar mit Wasser, ihr aber werdet mit Heiligem Geiste getauft werden.
17 If then the same gift has given to them God as also to us having believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, I myself (now *k*) how was able to forbid God?
Wenn nun Gott ihnen die gleiche Gabe gegeben hat wie auch uns, die wir an den Herrn Jesus Christus geglaubt haben, wer war ich, daß ich vermocht hätte, Gott zu wehren?
18 Having heard then these things they were silent and (glorified *N(k)O*) God saying; Then indeed (indeed *k*) also to the Gentiles God repentance unto life has given.
Als sie aber dies gehört hatten, beruhigten sie sich und verherrlichten Gott und sagten: Dann hat Gott also auch den Nationen die Buße gegeben zum Leben.
19 Those indeed therefore having been scattered by the tribulation having taken place over Stephen passed through until Phoenicia and Cyprus and Antioch to no one speaking the word only except solely to Jews.
Die nun zerstreut waren durch die Drangsal, welche wegen Stephanus entstanden war, zogen hindurch bis nach Phönicien und Cypern und Antiochien und redeten zu niemandem das Wort, als allein zu Juden.
20 Were however some of them men of Cyprus and of Cyrene, who (having come *N(k)O*) into Antioch were speaking (also *no*) to the (Hellenists *NK(o)*) evangelising [about] the Lord Jesus.
Es waren aber unter ihnen etliche Männer von Cypern und Kyrene, welche, als sie nach Antiochien kamen, auch zu den Griechen redeten, indem sie das Evangelium von dem Herrn Jesus verkündigten.
21 And was [the] hand of [the] Lord with them, [a] great then number (which *no*) having believed turned to the Lord;
Und des Herrn Hand war mit ihnen, und eine große Zahl glaubte und bekehrte sich zu dem Herrn.
22 Was heard now the report in the ears of the church which (is being *no*) in (Jerusalem *N(k)O*) concerning them and they sent forth Barnabas (to go *NK*) as far as Antioch;
Es kam aber die Rede von ihnen zu den Ohren der Versammlung, die in Jerusalem war, und sie sandten Barnabas aus, daß er hindurchzöge bis nach Antiochien;
23 who having come and having seen the grace (which [is] *no*) of God he rejoiced and he was exhorting all with resolute purpose of heart to abide (in *o*) the Lord;
welcher, als er hingekommen war und die Gnade Gottes sah, sich freute und alle ermahnte, mit Herzensentschluß bei dem Herrn zu verharren.
24 For he was a man good and full of [the] Spirit Holy and of faith. And was added a crowd large to the Lord.
Denn er war ein guter Mann und voll Heiligen Geistes und Glaubens; und eine zahlreiche Menge wurde dem Herrn hinzugetan.
25 He went forth then to Tarsus (*k*) (Barnabas *K*) to seek Saul,
Er zog aber aus nach Tarsus, um Saulus aufzusuchen; und als er ihn gefunden hatte, brachte er ihn nach Antiochien.
26 and having found (him *k*) he brought (him *k*) to Antioch. It came to pass [that] now (they *N(k)O*) also a year whole gathering together in the church and teaching a crowd large, Were calling then (first *N(k)O*) in Antioch the disciples Christians.
Es geschah ihnen aber, daß sie ein ganzes Jahr in der Versammlung zusammenkamen und eine zahlreiche Menge lehrten, und daß die Jünger zuerst in Antiochien Christen genannt wurden.
27 In these now days came down from Jerusalem prophets to Antioch;
In diesen Tagen aber kamen Propheten von Jerusalem nach Antiochien herab.
28 Having risen up now one of them named Agabus he signified through the Spirit [that] a famine (great *N(k)O*) to ensue being over all the world — (which *N(k)O*) (also *k*) was in [the time of] Claudius (of Caesar. *K*)
Einer aber von ihnen, mit Namen Agabus, stand auf und zeigte durch den Geist eine große Hungersnot an, die über den ganzen Erdkreis kommen sollte, welche auch unter Klaudius eintrat.
29 And the disciples even as was prospered anyone, determined each of them for ministry to send to the dwelling in Judea brothers;
Sie beschlossen aber, jenachdem einer der Jünger begütert war, ein jeder von ihnen zur Hilfsleistung den Brüdern zu senden, die in Judäa wohnten;
30 which also they did having sent [it] to the elders through [the] hand of Barnabas and Saul.
was sie auch taten, indem sie es an die Ältesten sandten durch die Hand des Barnabas und Saulus.
