2 Samuel 1
1 And it was after [the] death of Saul and David he returned from defeating Amalek and he remained David in Ziklag days two.
௧சவுல் இறந்தபின்பு, தாவீது அமலேக்கியர்களை முறியடித்து, சிக்லாகு பட்டணத்துக்குத் திரும்பிவந்து, இரண்டு நாட்கள் அங்கே இருந்த பின்பு,
2 And it was - on the day third and there! a man [was] coming from the camp from with Saul and garments his [were] torn and earth [was] on head his and it was when came he to David and he fell [the] ground towards and he bowed down.
௨மூன்றாம் நாளிலே ஒரு மனிதன் சவுலின் முகாமிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு, தன்னுடைய ஆடைகளைக் கிழித்துக்கொண்டு, தன்னுடைய தலையின்மேல் புழுதியைப் போட்டுக்கொண்டு, தாவீதிடம் வந்து, தரையிலே விழுந்து வணங்கினான்.
3 And he said to him David where? from this are you coming and he said to him from [the] camp of Israel I have escaped.
௩தாவீது அவனைப் பார்த்து: நீ எங்கேயிருந்து வந்தாய் என்று கேட்டதற்கு, அவன்: இஸ்ரவேலின் இராணுவ முகாமிலிருந்து தப்பிவந்தேன் என்றான்.
4 And he said to him David what? was it the word tell please to me and he said that it has fled the people from the battle and also [surely] a multitude has fallen of the people and they have died and also Saul and Jonathan son his they have died.
௪தாவீது அவனைப் பார்த்து: நடந்த செய்தி என்ன? சொல் என்று கேட்டதற்கு, அவன்: மக்கள் யுத்தத்தைவிட்டு ஓடிப்போனார்கள்; மக்களில் அநேகம் பேர் காயப்பட்டு இறந்துபோனார்கள்; சவுலும் அவருடைய மகனான யோனத்தானும் இறந்தார்கள் என்றான்.
5 And he said David to the young man who had told to him how? do you know that he has died Saul and Jonathan son his.
௫சவுலும் அவருடைய மகனான யோனத்தானும் இறந்துபோனது உனக்கு எப்படித் தெரியும் என்று தாவீது தனக்கு அதை அறிவித்த வாலிபனிடம் கேட்டதற்கு,
6 And he said the young man - who had told to him [surely] by chance I found myself on [the] mountain of Gilboa and there! Saul [was] leaning on spear his and there! the chariotry and [the] owners of the horses they overtook him.
௬அந்த வாலிபன்: நான் தற்செயலாகக் கில்போவா மலைக்குப் போனேன்; அப்பொழுது இதோ, சவுல் தம்முடைய ஈட்டியின்மேல் சாய்ந்துகிடந்தார்; இரதங்களும் குதிரை வீரர்களும் அவரைப் பின்தொடர்ந்து நெருங்கினார்கள்.
7 And he turned behind him and he saw me and he called to me and I said here [am] I.
௭அவர் திரும்பிப் பார்த்து: என்னைக் கண்டு கூப்பிட்டார்; அதற்கு நான்: இதோ, இருக்கிறேன் என்றேன்.
8 And he said to me who? [are] you (and I said *Q(K)*) to him [am] an Amalekite I.
௮அப்பொழுது அவர்: நீ யார் என்று என்னைக் கேட்டார்; நான் அமலேக்கியன் என்று சொன்னேன்.
9 And he said to me stand please over me and kill me for it has seized me dizziness for all still life my [is] in me.
௯அவர் என்னை நோக்கி: நீ என் அருகில் வந்து நின்று, என்னைக் கொன்றுபோடு; இன்னும், என்னுடைய உயிர் முழுவதும் போகாததால் எனக்கு வேதனையாக இருக்கிறது என்றார்.
10 And I stood over him and I killed him for I knew that not he will live after had fallen he and I took the crown - which [was] on head his and an armlet which [was] on arm his and I brought them to lord my here.
௧0அப்பொழுது நான், அவர் விழுந்த பின்பு பிழைக்கமாட்டார் என்று நிச்சயித்து, அவருக்கு அருகில் போய் நின்று, அவரைக் கொன்றுபோட்டேன்; பின்பு அவருடைய தலையின்மேல் இருந்த கிரீடத்தையும் அவருடைய கையில் இருந்த காப்பையும் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, அவைகளை இங்கே என்னுடைய ஆண்டவனிடம் கொண்டுவந்தேன் என்றான்.
11 And he took hold David (on garments his *Q(K)*) and he tore them and also all the men who [were] with him.
௧௧அப்பொழுது தாவீதும் அவனோடு இருந்த எல்லா மனிதர்களும் தங்களுடைய ஆடைகளைக் கிழித்துக்கொண்டு,
12 And they mourned and they wept and they fasted until the evening on Saul and on Jonathan son his and on [the] people of Yahweh and on [the] house of Israel for they had fallen by the sword.
௧௨சவுலும், அவனுடைய மகனான யோனத்தானும், யெகோவாவுடைய மக்களும், இஸ்ரவேல் குடும்பத்தார்களும், பட்டயத்தால் மரித்து போனதால் புலம்பி அழுது மாலைவரை உபவாசத்தோடு இருந்தார்கள்.
13 And he said David to the young man who had told to him where? from this [are] you and he said [am the] son of a man a sojourner an Amalekite I.
௧௩தாவீது அதைத் தனக்கு அறிவித்த வாலிபனைப் பார்த்து: நீ எந்த இடத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவன் என்று கேட்டதற்கு, அவன்: நான் அந்நிய தேசத்தானுடைய மகன், நான் அமலேக்கியன் என்றான்.
14 And he said to him David how? not were you afraid to stretch out hand your to destroy [the] [one] anointed of Yahweh.
௧௪தாவீது அவனை நோக்கி: யெகோவாவினால் அபிஷேகம் செய்தவரைக் கொன்றுபோடும்படி நீ உன்னுடைய கையை நீட்டப் பயப்படாமல் போனது என்ன என்று சொல்லி,
15 And he called David to one from the young men and he said draw near fall on him and he struck down him and he died.
௧௫வாலிபர்களில் ஒருவனைக் கூப்பிட்டு, நீ அவன் அருகே போய், அவனைக் கொன்றுபோடு என்றான்; அவன் அமலேக்கியனை வெட்டினான்; அவன் இறந்தான்.
16 And he said to him David (blood your *Q(K)*) [be] on head your for own mouth your it has testified against you saying I I killed [the] [one] anointed of Yahweh.
௧௬தாவீது அவனைப் பார்த்து: உன்னுடைய இரத்தப்பழி உன்னுடைய தலையின்மேல் இருக்கட்டும்; யெகோவா அபிஷேகம் செய்தவரை நான் கொன்றுபோட்டேன் என்று உன்னுடைய வாயே உனக்கு விரோதமான சாட்சி சொன்னது என்றான்.
17 And he lamented David the lamentation this on Saul and on Jonathan son his.
௧௭தாவீது சவுலையும் அவனது மகன் யோனத்தானையும்குறித்து, துயரப்பாடலைப் பாடினான்.
18 And he said to teach [the] descendants of Judah Bow here! [it is] written on [the] scroll of the Jashar.
௧௮(வில்வித்தையை யூதாவின் மகன்களுக்குக் கற்றுக்கொடுக்கும்படிக் கட்டளையிட்டான்; அது யாசேரின் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிறது) அவன் பாடின துயரப்பாடலாவது.
19 The beauty O Israel on high places your [is] slain how! they have fallen [the] mighty [ones].
௧௯இஸ்ரவேலின் புகழ்பெற்ற தலைவர்கள், உயர்ந்த மலைகளில் இறந்து போனர்கள்; பலசாலிகள் கொலைசெய்யப்பட்டுபோனார்கள்.
20 May not you tell in Gath may not you bear news in [the] streets of Ashkelon lest they should rejoice [the] daughters of [the] Philistines lest they should exult [the] daughters of the uncircumcised.
௨0பெலிஸ்தர்களின் மகள்கள் சந்தோஷப்படாதபடியும், விருத்தசேதனம் இல்லாதவர்களின் மகள்கள் கொண்டாடாதபடியும், அதைக் காத் பட்டணத்தில் அறிவிக்காமலும் அஸ்கலோனின் வீதிகளில் தெரிவிக்காமலும் இருங்கள்.
21 O mountains in Gilboa may not dew and may not rain [be] on you and fields of contributions for there it was defiled [the] shield of [the] mighty [ones] [the] shield of Saul not [was] anointed with oil.
௨௧கில்போவா மலைகளே, உங்கள்மேல் பனியும் மழையும் பெய்யாமலும், காணிக்கைக்கு ஏற்ற பலன் தரும் வயல்கள் இருக்காமலும் போகட்டும்; அங்கே பெலசாலிகளுடைய கேடகம் அவமதிக்கப்பட்டது; சவுல் தைலத்தால் அபிஷேகம் செய்யப்படாதவர்போல அவருடைய கேடகமும் அவமதிக்கப்பட்டதே.
22 From [the] blood of [those] slain from [the] fat of [the] mighty [ones] [the] bow of Jonathan not it turned back backwards and [the] sword of Saul not it returned empty.
௨௨கொலைசெய்யப்பட்டவர்களின் இரத்தத்தைக் குடிக்காமலும், பெலசாலிகளின் கொழுப்பை சாப்பிடாமலும், யோனத்தானுடைய வில் பின்வாங்கினதில்லை; சவுலின் பட்டயம் வெறுமையாகத் திரும்பினதில்லை.
23 Saul and Jonathan lovable and pleasant in lives their and in death their not they were separated more than eagles they were swift more than lions they were strong.
௨௩உயிரோடு இருக்கும்போது சவுலும் யோனத்தானும் ஒருவருக்கு ஒருவர் அன்பு காட்டி மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருந்தார்கள்; மரணத்திலும் பிரிந்துபோனதில்லை; கழுகுகளைவிட வேகமும், சிங்கங்களைவிட பலமும் உள்ளவர்களாக இருந்தார்கள்.
24 O daughters of Israel because of Saul weep who clothed you scarlet with luxuries who brought up ornament[s] of gold on clothing your.
௨௪இஸ்ரவேலின் மகள்களே, உங்களுக்கு சிவந்த ஆடையை நேர்த்தியாக அணிவித்து, உங்கள் உடையின்மேல் பொன் ஆபரணங்களைப் பதித்த சவுலுக்காக அழுது புலம்புங்கள்.
25 How! they have fallen [the] mighty [ones] in [the] middle of the battle Jonathan on high places your [is] slain.
௨௫போர்க்களத்தில் பெலசாலிகள் விழுந்தார்களே. யோனத்தானே, உயரமான இடங்களில் இறந்துபோனாயே.
26 It is distress to me on you O brother my Jonathan you were pleasant to me very it was wonderful love your to me more than [the] love of women.
௨௬என்னுடைய சகோதரனான யோனத்தானே, உனக்காக நான் துயரப்படுகிறேன்; நீ எனக்கு மிகவும் இன்பமாக இருந்தாய்; உன்னுடைய அன்பு ஆச்சரியமாக இருந்தது; பெண்களின் அன்பை விட அதிகமாக இருந்தது.
27 How! they have fallen [the] mighty [ones] and they have perished [the] weapons of war.
௨௭பெலசாலி வீரர்கள்கள் விழுந்துபோனார்களே; யுத்த ஆயுதங்கள் எல்லாம் அழிந்துபோனதே” என்று பாடினான்.
