2 Samuel 9

1 And he said David ¿ for [is] there still [one] who he is left to [the] house of Saul so I may do with him covenant loyalty for sake of Jonathan.

Och David sade: Månn ock någor vara qvar af Sauls hus, att jag måtte göra barmhertighet med honom, för Jonathans skull?

2 And [belonged] to [the] house of Saul a servant and name his [was] Ziba and people summoned him to David and he said the king to him ¿ [are] you Ziba and he said servant your.

Så var en tjenare af Sauls hus, benämnd Ziba, den kallade de till David; och Konungen sade till honom: Äst du Ziba? Han sade: Ja, din tjenare.

3 And he said the king ¿ [is] there not still anyone of [the] house of Saul so I may do with him [the] covenant loyalty of God and he said Ziba to the king still a son of Jonathan stricken of both feet.

Konungen sade: Är ännu någor till af Sauls hus, att jag måtte göra barmhertighet med honom? Ziba sade till Konungen: Det är ännu en till, Jonathans son, ofärdig i fötterna.

4 And he said to him the king where? [is] he and he said Ziba to the king here! he [is] [the] house of Makir [the] son of Ammiel in Lo Debar.

Konungen sade till honom: Hvar är han? Ziba sade till Konungen: Si, han är i Lodebar, i Machirs hus, Ammiels sons.

5 And he sent the king David and he took him from [the] house of Makir [the] son of Ammiel from Lo Debar.

Då sände Konung David bort, och lät hemta honom ifrå Lodebar, utu Machirs hus, Ammiels sons.

6 And he came Mephibosheth [the] son of Jonathan [the] son of Saul to David and he fell on face his and he bowed down and he said David O Mephibosheth and he said here! [is] servant your.

Då nu MephiBoseth, Jonathans son, Sauls sons, kom till David, föll han på sitt ansigte, och tillbad. Och David sade: MephiBoseth. Han sade: Här är jag, din tjenare.

7 And he said to him David may not you be afraid for certainly I will do with you covenant loyalty for sake of Jonathan father your and I will restore to you all [the] land of Saul father your and you you will eat food on table my continually.

David sade till honom: Frukta dig intet; ty jag vill göra barmhertighet på dig, för Jonathans dins faders skull, och vill gifva dig alla dins faders Sauls åkrar igen; men du skall dageliga äta bröd vid mitt bord.

8 And he bowed down and he said what? [is] servant your that you have turned to the dog dead who [is] like me.

Han tillbad, och sade: Ho är jag, din tjenare, att du vände dig till en död hund, såsom jag är?

9 And he summoned the king Ziba [the] servant of Saul and he said to him all that it belonged to Saul and to all household his I have given to [the] son of master your.

Då kallade Konungen Ziba, Sauls tjenare, och sade till honom: Allt det Saul hafver tillhört, och hans hela hus, hafver jag gifvit dins herras son.

10 And you will work for him the land you and sons your and servants your and you will bring and it will be for [the] son of master your food and he will eat it and Mephibosheth [the] son of master your he will eat continually food on table my and [belonged] to Ziba fif-teen sons and twenty servants.

Så bruka nu honom hans åker, du och din barn, och tjenare, och låt det komma in, att det skall vara dins herras sons bröd, att han må föda dig; men MephiBoseth dins herras son skall dagliga äta bröd vid mitt bord. Och Ziba hade femton söner och tjugu tjenare.

11 And he said Ziba to the king according to all that he will command lord my the king servant his so he will do servant your and Mephibosheth [was] eating on table my like one from [the] children of the king.

Och Ziba sade till Konungen: Allt det min herre Konungen hafver budit sinom tjenare, det skall hans tjenare göra; och MephiBoseth äte vid mitt bord, såsom ett af Konungsbarnen.

12 And [belonged] to Mephibosheth a son young and name his [was] Mica and every resident of [the] house of Ziba [were] servants of Mephibosheth.

Och MephiBoseth hade en liten son, som het Micha; men allt det i Ziba hus bodde, det tjente MephiBoseth.

13 And Mephibosheth [was] dwelling in Jerusalem for on [the] table of the king continually he [was] eating and he ([was] lame *LA(bh)*) [the] two feet his.

Och MephiBoseth bodde i Jerusalem; ty han åt dagliga vid Konungens bord; och haltade på båda sina fötter.
