2 Samuel 9

1 And he said David ¿ for [is] there still [one] who he is left to [the] house of Saul so I may do with him covenant loyalty for sake of Jonathan.

Alors David dit: Mais n'y a-t-il plus personne qui soit demeuré de reste de la maison de Saül, et je lui ferai du bien pour l'amour de Jonathan?

2 And [belonged] to [the] house of Saul a servant and name his [was] Ziba and people summoned him to David and he said the king to him ¿ [are] you Ziba and he said servant your.

Or il y avait dans la maison de Saül un serviteur nommé Tsiba, lequel on appela pour le faire venir vers David. Et le Roi lui dit: Es-tu Tsiba? et il répondit: Je suis ton serviteur [Tsiba].

3 And he said the king ¿ [is] there not still anyone of [the] house of Saul so I may do with him [the] covenant loyalty of God and he said Ziba to the king still a son of Jonathan stricken of both feet.

Et le Roi dit: N'y a-t-il plus personne de la maison de Saül, et j'userai envers lui d'une grande gratuité. Et Tsiba répondit au Roi: Il y a encore un des fils de Jonathan, qui est blessé aux pieds.

4 And he said to him the king where? [is] he and he said Ziba to the king here! he [is] [the] house of Makir [the] son of Ammiel in Lo Debar.

Et le Roi lui dit: Où est-il? Et Tsiba répondit au Roi: Voilà, il est en la maison de Makir fils de Hammiel, à Lodébar.

5 And he sent the king David and he took him from [the] house of Makir [the] son of Ammiel from Lo Debar.

Alors le Roi David envoya, et le fit amener de la maison de Makir, fils de Hammiel, de Lodébar.

6 And he came Mephibosheth [the] son of Jonathan [the] son of Saul to David and he fell on face his and he bowed down and he said David O Mephibosheth and he said here! [is] servant your.

Et quand Méphiboseth, le fils de Jonathan fils de Saül, fut venu vers David, il s'inclina sur son visage, et se prosterna. Et David dit: Méphiboseth; et il répondit: Voici ton serviteur.

7 And he said to him David may not you be afraid for certainly I will do with you covenant loyalty for sake of Jonathan father your and I will restore to you all [the] land of Saul father your and you you will eat food on table my continually.

Et David lui dit: Ne crains point; car certainement je te ferai du bien pour l'amour de Jonathan ton père, et je te restituerai toutes les terres de Saül ton père, et tu mangeras toujours du pain à ma table.

8 And he bowed down and he said what? [is] servant your that you have turned to the dog dead who [is] like me.

Et [Méphiboseth] se prosterna, et dit: Qui suis-je moi ton serviteur, que tu aies regardé un chien mort, tel que je suis?

9 And he summoned the king Ziba [the] servant of Saul and he said to him all that it belonged to Saul and to all household his I have given to [the] son of master your.

Et le Roi appela Tsiba serviteur de Saül, et lui dit: J'ai donné au fils de ton maître tout ce qui appartenait à Saül, et à toute sa maison.

10 And you will work for him the land you and sons your and servants your and you will bring and it will be for [the] son of master your food and he will eat it and Mephibosheth [the] son of master your he will eat continually food on table my and [belonged] to Ziba fif-teen sons and twenty servants.

C'est pourquoi laboure pour lui ces terres-là, toi et tes fils, et tes serviteurs, et recueilles-en les fruits, afin que le fils de ton maître ait du pain à manger; mais quant à Méphiboseth, fils de ton maître, il mangera toujours du pain à ma table. Or Tsiba avait quinze fils, et vingt serviteurs.

11 And he said Ziba to the king according to all that he will command lord my the king servant his so he will do servant your and Mephibosheth [was] eating on table my like one from [the] children of the king.

Et Tsiba dit au Roi: Ton serviteur fera tout ce que le Roi mon Seigneur a commandé à son serviteur. Mais quant à Méphiboseth, (dit le Roi) il mangera à ma table, comme un des fils du Roi.

12 And [belonged] to Mephibosheth a son young and name his [was] Mica and every resident of [the] house of Ziba [were] servants of Mephibosheth.

Or Méphiboseth avait un petit-fils nommé Mica; et tous ceux qui demeuraient dans la maison de Tsiba étaient des serviteurs de Méphiboseth.

13 And Mephibosheth [was] dwelling in Jerusalem for on [the] table of the king continually he [was] eating and he ([was] lame *LA(bh)*) [the] two feet his.

Et Méphiboseth demeurait à Jérusalem, parce qu'il mangeait toujours à la table du Roi; et il était boiteux des deux pieds.
