2 Samuel 8
1 And it was after thus and he defeated David [the] Philistines and he subdued them and he took David Metheg-ammah from [the] hand of [the] Philistines.
Y después de esto, David atacó a los filisteos y los venció; y David tomó la autoridad de Meteg-ama la ciudad principal de las manos de los filisteos.
2 And he defeated Moab and he measured off them with measuring-line he made lie down them [the] ground towards and he measured off two measuring-lines to put to death and [the] fullness of measuring-line to let live and it became Moab of David servants bearing tribute.
Y venció a los moabitas, y los midió con una línea cuando estaban tendidos sobre la tierra; marcando dos líneas para la muerte y una línea completa para la vida. Entonces los moabitas se convirtieron en siervos de David y le dieron ofrendas.
3 And he defeated David Hadadezer [the] son of Rehob [the] king of Zobah when went he to restore hand his (at [the] river Euphrates. *Q(K)*)
Y David venció a Hadadezer, hijo de Rehob, rey de Sobá, cuando fue a ver su poder junto al río.
4 And he captured David from him one thousand and seven hundred horsemen and twenty thousand man on foot and he hamstrung David all the chariotry and he left of it one hundred chariot[s].
Y le quitó David mil setecientos jinetes y veinte mil soldados de infantería; y David amputó los caballos, y solo dejó suficiente para cien carros de guerra.
5 And it came Aram Damascus to help Hadadezer [the] king of Zobah and he struck down David among Aram twenty and two thousand man.
Y cuando los arameos de Damasco acudieron en ayuda de Hadad Ezer, rey de Sobá, David puso a espada veintidós mil de los arameos.
6 And he put David garrisons in Aram Damascus and it became Aram of David servants bearing tribute and he gave victory to Yahweh David in every where he went.
Entonces David puso fuerzas armadas en Aram de Damasco; y los arameos se convirtieron en siervos de David y le dieron ofrendas. Y él Señor hizo vencer a David dondequiera que iba.
7 And he took David [the] shields of gold which they were to [the] servants of Hadadezer and he brought them Jerusalem.
Entonces David tomó sus coberturas de oro de los siervos de Hadad Ezer y los llevó a Jerusalén.
8 And from Betah and from Berothai [the] cities of Hadadezer he took the king David bronze much very.
Y de Beta y Berotai, pueblos de Hadad Ezer, el rey David tomó gran cantidad de bronze.
9 And he heard Toi [the] king of Hamath that he had defeated David all [the] army of Hadadezer.
Y cuando Toi, rey de Hamat, tuvo noticias de que David había vencido a todo el ejército de Hadad Ezer,
10 And he sent Toi Joram son his to the king David to ask of him to welfare and to bless him on that he had waged war against Hadadezer and he had defeated him for man of wars of Toi he was Hadadezer and in hand his they were articles of silver and articles of gold and articles of bronze.
Envió a su hijo Hadoram a David, con palabras de paz y bendición, porque había vencido a Hadad Ezer en la lucha, porque Hadad Ezer había tenido guerras con Toi; Y Joram llevó consigo vasos de plata, oro y bronce.
11 Also them he consecrated the king David to Yahweh with the silver and the gold which he had consecrated from all the nations which he had subdued.
El rey David dedicó también al Señor, junto con la plata y el oro que había tomado de las naciones que había vencido:
12 From Aram and from Moab and from [the] people of Ammon and from [the] Philistines and from Amalek and from [the] plunder of Hadadezer [the] son of Rehob [the] king of Zobah.
Las naciones de Edom y Moab, los hijos de Amón, los filisteos, los amalecitas, los bienes que había tomado de Hadad Ezer, hijo de Rehob, rey de Sobá.
13 And he made David a name when returned he from defeating he Aram in [the] Valley of Salt eight-teen thousand.
Y David obtuvo gran honor para sí mismo, cuando regresó, por la destrucción de Edom en el valle de Sal, al número de dieciocho mil hombres.
14 And he put in Edom garrisons in all Edom he put garrisons and it was all Edom servants of David and he gave victory to Yahweh David in every where he went.
Y puso fuerzas armadas en Edom; A lo largo de todo Edom, tenía fuerzas armadas estacionadas, y todos los edomitas se convirtieron en sirvientes de David. Y él Señor daba la victoria a David dondequiera que iba.
15 And he reigned David over all Israel and he was David doing justice and righteousness for all people his.
Y David fue rey sobre todo Israel, juzgando y dando las decisiones correctas para todo su pueblo.
16 And Joab [the] son of Zeruiah [was] over the army and Jehoshaphat [the] son of Ahilud [was] recorder.
Y Joab, hijo de Sarvia, era el jefe del ejército; y Josafat, el hijo de Ahilud, era el guardián de los registros;
17 And Zadok [the] son of Ahitub and Ahimelech [the] son of Abiathar [were] priests and Seraiah [was] secretary.
Y Sadoc y Abiatar, hijo de Ahimelec, hijo de Ahitob, eran sacerdotes; y Seraías era el escriba;
18 And Benaiah [the] son of Jehoiada and the Kerethite[s] and the Pelethite[s] and [the] sons of David [were] priests they were.
Y Benaía, hijo de Joiada, estaba sobre los cereteos y los peleteos; Y los hijos de David fueron sacerdotes.
