< 2 Samuel 8 >
1 And it was after thus and he defeated David [the] Philistines and he subdued them and he took David Metheg-ammah from [the] hand of [the] Philistines.
Después de esto aconteció, que David hirió a los Filisteos, y los humilló: y tomó David a Metegamma de mano de los Filisteos.
2 And he defeated Moab and he measured off them with measuring-line he made lie down them [the] ground towards and he measured off two measuring-lines to put to death and [the] fullness of measuring-line to let live and it became Moab of David servants bearing tribute.
Hirió también a los de Moab, y midiólos con cordel haciéndolos echar por tierra: y midiólos en dos cordeles, el uno para muerte, y otro cordel entero para vida. Y fueron los Moabitas siervos de David debajo de tributo.
3 And he defeated David Hadadezer [the] son of Rehob [the] king of Zobah when went he to restore hand his (at [the] river Euphrates. *Q(K)*)
También hirió David a Adarezer, hijo de Roob, rey de Soba, yendo él a extender su término hasta el río Éufrates.
4 And he captured David from him one thousand and seven hundred horsemen and twenty thousand man on foot and he hamstrung David all the chariotry and he left of it one hundred chariot[s].
Y tomó David de ellos mil y sietecientos de a caballo, y veinte mil hombres de a pie, y desjarretó David todos los carros: mas cien carros de ellos dejó.
5 And it came Aram Damascus to help Hadadezer [the] king of Zobah and he struck down David among Aram twenty and two thousand man.
Y vino Siria, la de Damasco, a dar socorro a Adarezer rey de Soba, y David hirió de los Siros veinte y dos mil hombres.
6 And he put David garrisons in Aram Damascus and it became Aram of David servants bearing tribute and he gave victory to Yahweh David in every where he went.
Y puso David guarnición en la Siria de Damasco, y fueron los Siros siervos de David debajo de tributo. Y Jehová guardó a David donde quiera que fue.
7 And he took David [the] shields of gold which they were to [the] servants of Hadadezer and he brought them Jerusalem.
Y tomó David los escudos de oro, que traían los siervos de Adarezer, los cuales trajo a Jerusalem.
8 And from Betah and from Berothai [the] cities of Hadadezer he took the king David bronze much very.
Asimismo de Bete, y de Berot, ciudades de Adarezer, tomó el rey David gran copia de metal.
9 And he heard Toi [the] king of Hamath that he had defeated David all [the] army of Hadadezer.
Entonces oyendo Tou rey de Emat que David había herido todo el ejército de Adarezer,
10 And he sent Toi Joram son his to the king David to ask of him to welfare and to bless him on that he had waged war against Hadadezer and he had defeated him for man of wars of Toi he was Hadadezer and in hand his they were articles of silver and articles of gold and articles of bronze.
Envió Tou a Joram su hijo al rey David a saludarle pacíficamente, y a bendecirle, porque había peleado con Adarezer, y le había vencido; porque Tou era enemigo de Adarezer: y llevaba en su mano vasos de plata, y vasos de oro, y de metal:
11 Also them he consecrated the king David to Yahweh with the silver and the gold which he had consecrated from all the nations which he had subdued.
Los cuales el rey David dedicó a Jehová, con la plata y el oro que había dedicado de todas las naciones que había sujetado:
12 From Aram and from Moab and from [the] people of Ammon and from [the] Philistines and from Amalek and from [the] plunder of Hadadezer [the] son of Rehob [the] king of Zobah.
De los Siros, de los Moabitas, de los Ammonitas, de los Filisteos, de los Amalecitas, y del despojo de Adarezer, hijo de Roob rey de Soba.
13 And he made David a name when returned he from defeating he Aram in [the] Valley of Salt eight-teen thousand.
Y ganó David fama como volvió, habiendo herido de los Siros diez y ocho mil en el valle de la sal.
14 And he put in Edom garrisons in all Edom he put garrisons and it was all Edom servants of David and he gave victory to Yahweh David in every where he went.
Asimismo puso David guarnición en Edom, por toda Edom puso guarnición: y todos los Idumeos fueron siervos de David: y Jehová guardó a David por donde quiera que fue.
15 And he reigned David over all Israel and he was David doing justice and righteousness for all people his.
Y reinó David sobre todo Israel, y hacía David derecho y justicia a todo su pueblo.
16 And Joab [the] son of Zeruiah [was] over the army and Jehoshaphat [the] son of Ahilud [was] recorder.
Y Joab, hijo de Sarvia, era general de su ejército: y Josafat, hijo de Ahilud, canciller.
17 And Zadok [the] son of Ahitub and Ahimelech [the] son of Abiathar [were] priests and Seraiah [was] secretary.
Y Sadoc, hijo de Acitob, y Aquimelec, hijo de Abiatar, eran sacerdotes: y Saraías era escriba.
18 And Benaiah [the] son of Jehoiada and the Kerethite[s] and the Pelethite[s] and [the] sons of David [were] priests they were.
Y Banaías, hijo de Joiada, era sobre los Cereteos y Feleteos; y los hijos de David eran los príncipes.
