2 Samuel 6
1 And he gathered again David every chosen [man] in Israel thirty thousand.
Y David tornó a juntar todos los escogidos de Israel, treinta mil.
2 And he arose - and he went David and all the people which [was] with him from Baalah of Judah to bring up from there [the] ark of God which it is called [the] name [the] name of Yahweh of hosts [who] sits the cherubim on it.
Y levantóse David, y fue con todo el pueblo que tenía consigo de Baal de Judá, para hacer pasar de allí el arca de Dios, sobre la cual era invocado el nombre de Jehová de los ejércitos, que mora en ella entre los querubines.
3 And they made to ride [the] ark of God to a cart a new and they carried it from [the] house of Abinadab which [was] on the hill and Uzzah and Ahio [the] sons of Abinadab [were] leading the cart new.
Y pusieron el arca de Dios sobre un carro nuevo, y lleváronla de la casa de Abinadab que estaba en Gabaa: y Oza y Ahio, hijos de Abinadab, guiaban el carro nuevo.
4 And they carried it from [the] house of Abinadab which [was] on the hill with [the] ark of God and Ahio [was] walking before the ark.
Y cuando lo llevaban de la casa de Abinadab, que estaba en Gabaa con el arca de Dios, Ahio iba delante del arca:
5 And David - and all [the] house of Israel [were] playing before Yahweh on all wood of fir trees and on harps and on lyres and on tambourines and on rattles and on cymbals.
Y David y toda la casa de Israel danzaban delante de Jehová con toda suerte de instrumentos de madera de haya, con arpas, salterios, adufes, flautas, y címbalos.
6 And they came to [the] threshing floor of Nacon and he stretched out Uzzah to [the] ark of God and he took hold on it for they had stumbled the ox[en].
Y cuando llegaron a la era de Nacón, Oza extendió la mano al arca de Dios, y sostúvola; porque los bueyes coceaban.
7 And it burned [the] anger of Yahweh on Uzzah and he struck down him there God on the presumption and he died there beside [the] ark of God.
Y el furor de Jehová se encendió contra Oza, e hirióle allí Dios por aquella temeridad; y cayó allí muerto junto al arca de Dios.
8 And it burned to David on that he had broken out Yahweh a breaking out against Uzzah and someone called the place that Perez Uzzah until the day this.
Y David fue triste por haber herido Jehová a Oza, y fue llamado aquel lugar Perez-oza, hasta hoy.
9 And he feared David Yahweh on the day that and he said how? will it come to me [the] ark of Yahweh.
Y temiendo David a Jehová aquel día, dijo: ¿Cómo ha de venir a mí el arca de Jehová?
10 And not he was willing David to turn aside to himself [the] ark of Yahweh to [the] city of David and he turned aside it David [the] house of Obed-Edom the Gittite.
Y no quiso David traer a sí el arca de Jehová a la ciudad de David; mas la llevó David a casa de Obed-edom Geteo.
11 And it remained [the] ark of Yahweh [the] house of Obed-Edom the Gittite three months and he blessed Yahweh Obed-Edom and all household his.
Y estuvo el arca de Jehová en casa de Obed-edom Geteo tres meses: y bendijo Jehová a Obed-edom y a toda su casa.
12 And it was told to the king David saying he has blessed Yahweh [the] household of Obed-Edom and all that [belongs] to him for sake of [the] ark of God and he went David and he brought up [the] ark of God from [the] house of Obed-Edom [the] city of David with rejoicing.
Y fue dado aviso al rey David, diciendo: Jehová ha bendecido la casa de Obed-edom, y todo lo que tiene, a causa del arca de Dios. Entonces David fue, y trajo el arca de Dios de casa de Obed-edom a la ciudad de David con alegría.
13 And it was that they had stepped [the] bearers of [the] ark of Yahweh six steps and he sacrificed an ox and a fatling.
Y como los que llevaban el arca de Dios habían andado seis pasos, sacrificaban un buey, y un carnero grueso.
14 And David [was] dancing with all strength before Yahweh and David [was] girded an ephod of linen.
Y David saltaba con toda su fuerza delante de Jehová; y tenía vestido David un efod de lino.
15 And David and all [the] house of Israel [were] bringing up [the] ark of Yahweh with shouting and with [the] sound of a trumpet.
Así David y toda la casa de Israel llevaban el arca de Jehová con júbilo y voz de trompeta.
16 And it was [the] ark of Yahweh coming [the] city of David and Michal [the] daughter of Saul she looked down - through the window and she saw the king David leaping and dancing before Yahweh and she despised him in heart her.
Y como el arca de Jehová llegó a la ciudad de David, aconteció que Micol la hija de Saul estaba mirando desde una ventana, y vio al rey David, que saltaba con toda su fuerza delante de Jehová: y túvole en poco en su corazón.
17 And they brought [the] ark of Yahweh and they set it in place its in [the] midst of the tent which he had pitched for it David and he offered up David burnt offerings before Yahweh and peace offerings.
Y metieron el arca de Jehová, y pusiéronla en su lugar en medio de una tienda que David le había tendido: y sacrificó David holocaustos y pacíficos delante de Jehová.
18 And he finished David from offering up the burnt offering and the peace offerings and he blessed the people in [the] name of Yahweh of hosts.
Y como David hubo acabado de ofrecer los holocaustos y pacíficos, bendijo al pueblo en el nombre de Jehová de los ejércitos.
19 And he distributed to all the people to all [the] multitude of Israel to from a man and unto a woman to each a cake of bread one and a date-cake one and a raisin-cake one and it went all the people each to own house his.
Y repartió a todo el pueblo, y a toda la multitud de Israel, así hombres como mujeres, a cada uno una torta de pan, y un pedazo de carne, y un frasco de vino. Y se fue todo el pueblo cada uno a su casa.
20 And he returned David to bless household his and she came out Michal [the] daughter of Saul to meet David and she said how! he has honored himself this day [the] king of Israel who he has uncovered himself this day to [the] eyes of [the] maidservants of servants his as uncovers himself shamelessly one of the worthless [men].
Y volvió David para bendecir su casa: y saliendo Micol a recibir a David, dijo: ¡Cuán honrado ha sido hoy el rey de Israel, desnudándose hoy delante de las criadas de sus siervos, como se desnudara algún chocarrero!
21 And he said David to Michal before Yahweh who he chose me more than father your and more than all household his to appoint me ruler over [the] people of Yahweh over Israel and I will play before Yahweh.
Entonces David respondió a Micol: Delante de Jehová, que me eligió más que a tu padre, y a toda su casa, mandándome que fuese príncipe sobre el pueblo de Jehová, sobre Israel, danzaré delante de Jehová.
22 And I will demean myself still more than this and I will be lowly in own eyes my and with the maidservants whom you have said with them I will be honored.
Y aun me haré más vil que esta vez, y seré bajo delante de mis ojos: y delante de las criadas que dijiste, delante de ellas seré honrado.
23 And to Michal [the] daughter of Saul not it belonged to her a child until [the] day of death her.
Y nunca Micol tuvo hijos hasta el día de su muerte.
