2 Samuel 6
1 And he gathered again David every chosen [man] in Israel thirty thousand.
Una vez más, David convocó a todos los hombres especialmente elegidos de Israel, y eran treinta mil en total.
2 And he arose - and he went David and all the people which [was] with him from Baalah of Judah to bring up from there [the] ark of God which it is called [the] name [the] name of Yahweh of hosts [who] sits the cherubim on it.
Entonces fue con todos sus hombres a Baalá, en Judá, para traer de vuelta el Arca de Dios, que pertenece al Señor Todopoderoso, que está sentado entre los querubines que están sobre el Arca.
3 And they made to ride [the] ark of God to a cart a new and they carried it from [the] house of Abinadab which [was] on the hill and Uzzah and Ahio [the] sons of Abinadab [were] leading the cart new.
Colocaron el Arca de Dios en un carro nuevo y la trajeron desde la casa de Abinadab, que estaba en una colina. Uza y Ahío, hijos de Abinadab, dirigían el carruaje
4 And they carried it from [the] house of Abinadab which [was] on the hill with [the] ark of God and Ahio [was] walking before the ark.
que transportaba el Arca de Dios, y Ahío caminaba delante de él.
5 And David - and all [the] house of Israel [were] playing before Yahweh on all wood of fir trees and on harps and on lyres and on tambourines and on rattles and on cymbals.
David y todos los israelitas estaban celebrando en presencia del Señor, cantando canciones acompañadas de cítaras, arpas, panderetas, sonajas y címbalos.
6 And they came to [the] threshing floor of Nacon and he stretched out Uzzah to [the] ark of God and he took hold on it for they had stumbled the ox[en].
Pero cuando llegaron a la era de Nachón, los bueyes tropezaron, por lo que Uza extendió la mano para evitar que el Arca de Dios cayera.
7 And it burned [the] anger of Yahweh on Uzzah and he struck down him there God on the presumption and he died there beside [the] ark of God.
El Señor se enojó con Uza, y Dios lo hirió allí mismo por su desobediencia, y murió junto al Arca de Dios.
8 And it burned to David on that he had broken out Yahweh a breaking out against Uzzah and someone called the place that Perez Uzzah until the day this.
David se enfadó por el violento arrebato del Señor contra Uza. Llamó al lugar Perez-uza, que sigue siendo su nombre hasta hoy.
9 And he feared David Yahweh on the day that and he said how? will it come to me [the] ark of Yahweh.
Ese día, David tuvo miedo del Señor. “¿Cómo podré traer el Arca de Dios a mi casa?”, se preguntó.
10 And not he was willing David to turn aside to himself [the] ark of Yahweh to [the] city of David and he turned aside it David [the] house of Obed-Edom the Gittite.
Al no querer traer el Arca del Señor para que estuviera con él en la Ciudad de David, la hizo llevar a la casa de Obed-edom el gitano.
11 And it remained [the] ark of Yahweh [the] house of Obed-Edom the Gittite three months and he blessed Yahweh Obed-Edom and all household his.
Entonces el Arca del Señor permaneció en la casa de Obed-edom durante tres meses, y el Señor bendijo a toda la familia de Obed-edom.
12 And it was told to the king David saying he has blessed Yahweh [the] household of Obed-Edom and all that [belongs] to him for sake of [the] ark of God and he went David and he brought up [the] ark of God from [the] house of Obed-Edom [the] city of David with rejoicing.
Y le dijeron al rey David: “El Señor ha bendecido la casa de Obed-edom y todo lo que tiene a causa del Arca de Dios”. Así que David fue y mandó traer el Arca de Dios de la casa de Obed-edom a la Ciudad de David. Entonces hubo gran celebración.
13 And it was that they had stepped [the] bearers of [the] ark of Yahweh six steps and he sacrificed an ox and a fatling.
Cuando los hombres que llevaban el Arca del Señor dieron seis pasos, David sacrificó un toro y un ternero cebado.
14 And David [was] dancing with all strength before Yahweh and David [was] girded an ephod of linen.
Luego, con un efod sacerdotal, David bailó con todas sus fuerzas ante el Señor
15 And David and all [the] house of Israel [were] bringing up [the] ark of Yahweh with shouting and with [the] sound of a trumpet.
mientras él y todos los israelitas llevaban el Arca del Señor, con muchos gritos y sonido de cuernos.
16 And it was [the] ark of Yahweh coming [the] city of David and Michal [the] daughter of Saul she looked down - through the window and she saw the king David leaping and dancing before Yahweh and she despised him in heart her.
Mientras el Arca del Señor era transportada a la ciudad de David, la hija de Saúl, Mical, miraba desde una ventana. Vio al rey David saltando y danzando ante el Señor, y realmente lo aborreció.
17 And they brought [the] ark of Yahweh and they set it in place its in [the] midst of the tent which he had pitched for it David and he offered up David burnt offerings before Yahweh and peace offerings.
Entonces trajeron el Arca del Señor y la colocaron en su lugar dentro de la tienda que David había montado para ella. Luego David ofreció holocaustos y ofrendas de paz ante el Señor.
18 And he finished David from offering up the burnt offering and the peace offerings and he blessed the people in [the] name of Yahweh of hosts.
Cuando terminó de ofrecer los sacrificios, David bendijo al pueblo en nombre del Señor Todopoderoso.
19 And he distributed to all the people to all [the] multitude of Israel to from a man and unto a woman to each a cake of bread one and a date-cake one and a raisin-cake one and it went all the people each to own house his.
Entonces les dio a todos los israelitas, tanto a hombres como a mujeres, una hogaza de pan, una torta de dátiles y una torta de pasas. Luego los envió a todos a sus casas.
20 And he returned David to bless household his and she came out Michal [the] daughter of Saul to meet David and she said how! he has honored himself this day [the] king of Israel who he has uncovered himself this day to [the] eyes of [the] maidservants of servants his as uncovers himself shamelessly one of the worthless [men].
Cuando David llegó a su casa para bendecir a su familia, Mical, la hija de Saúl, salió a su encuentro y le dijo: “¡Qué distinguido se ha puesto hoy el rey de Israel, quitándose la túnica para que lo vieran todas las sirvientas, como se expondría cualquier personal vulgar!”
21 And he said David to Michal before Yahweh who he chose me more than father your and more than all household his to appoint me ruler over [the] people of Yahweh over Israel and I will play before Yahweh.
David le dijo a Mical: “Estuve bailando ante el Señor, que me eligió a mí en lugar de a tu padre y a toda su familia cuando me nombró gobernante del pueblo del Señor, Israel. Seguiré celebrando ante el Señor,
22 And I will demean myself still more than this and I will be lowly in own eyes my and with the maidservants whom you have said with them I will be honored.
de hecho voy a hacerme aún menos distinguido, me volveré aún más humilde. Sin embargo, seré respetado por esas siervas de las que hablaste”.
23 And to Michal [the] daughter of Saul not it belonged to her a child until [the] day of death her.
Y Mical, la hija de Saúl, nunca tuvo hijos.
