< 2 Samuel 5 >

1 And they came all [the] tribes of Israel to David Hebron towards and they said saying here [are] we [are] bone your and flesh your we.

2 Both yesterday as well as three days ago when was Saul king over us you (you were *Q(k)*) (the [one who] led out *Q(K)*) (and the [one who] brought *Q(k)*) Israel and he said Yahweh to you you you will shepherd people my Israel and you you will become ruler over Israel.
Nʼoge gara aga, mgbe Sọl bụ eze na-achị anyị, ọ bụ gị duuru ndị agha Izrel nʼọgụ niile, ma ọpụpụ ma mbata. Onyenwe anyị sịrị gị, ‘Ị ga-azụ ndị m, bụ Izrel, ị ga-abụkwa onye ga-achị ha.’”
3 And they came all [the] elders of Israel to the king Hebron towards and he made to them the king David a covenant at Hebron before Yahweh and they anointed David to king over Israel.
Mgbe ndị okenye Izrel niile bịakwutere Devid na Hebrọn, ha na eze Devid gbara ndụ nʼihu Onyenwe anyị na Hebrọn. Ha tere Devid mmanụ ịbụ eze Izrel.
4 [was] a son of Thirty year[s] David when became king he forty year[s] he reigned.
Devid gbara iri afọ atọ mgbe ọ malitere ịbụ eze. Ọ chịkwara iri afọ anọ.
5 In Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three year[s] over all Israel and Judah.
Ọ chịrị ndị Juda niile na Hebrọn afọ asaa na ọnwa isii. Chịakwa ndị Izrel na Juda niile mgbe ọ nọ na Hebrọn na mgbe ọ nọ na Jerusalem iri afọ atọ na atọ,
6 And he went the king and men his Jerusalem against the Jebusite[s] [the] inhabitant[s] of the land and it said to David saying not you will come here that except he will turn aside you the blind [people] and the lame [people] saying not he will come David here.

7 And he captured David [the] stronghold of Zion it [is] [the] city of David.
nʼagbanyeghị okwu ndị a, Devid dọtara ebe ahụ e wusiri ike nke Zayọn nʼagha, ya bụ obodo Devid.
8 And he said David on the day that any [one who] strikes a Jebusite and let him approach by the water tunnel the lame [people] and the blind [people] ([who are] hated *Q(K)*) of [the] self of David there-fore people say a blind [person] and a lame [person] not he will go into the house.
Nʼụbọchị ahụ, Devid kwuru sị, “Onye ọbụla ga-emeri ndị Jebus ga-esite nʼọnụ warawara ebe mmiri si abanye nʼobodo a banyekwuru ndị ngwụrọ na ndị ìsì a bụ ndị iro Devid.” Ọ bụ nke a mere ha ji ekwu okwu sị, “Ndị ìsì na ndị ngwụrọ agaghị abata nʼụlọeze ahụ.”
9 And he dwelt David in the stronghold and he called it [the] city of David and he built David round about from the Millo and [the] inside towards.
Devid biiri nʼebe ahụ e wusiri ike, kpọọ ya obodo Devid. O wuru akụkụ ebe dị gburugburu ya, site na Milo baa ruo nʼime ya.
10 And he went David going and becoming great and Yahweh [the] God of hosts [was] with him.

11 And he sent Hiram [the] king of Tyre messengers to David and trees of cedars and craftsmen of wood and craftsmen of [the] stone of a wall and they built a house for David.

12 And he knew David that he had appointed him Yahweh to king over Israel and that he had exalted kingdom his for sake of people his Israel.

13 And he took David again concubines and wives from Jerusalem after came he from Hebron and they were born again to David sons and daughters.
Mgbe Devid sitere na Hebrọn kwabata na Jerusalem; ọ lụrụ ndị inyom ọzọ, nwetakwara onwe ya ọtụtụ ndị iko nwanyị. Ọ mụtakwara ọtụtụ ụmụ nwoke na ụmụ nwanyị.
14 And these [are] [the] names of the [ones] born to him in Jerusalem Shammua and Shobab and Nathan and Solomon.

15 And Ibhar and Elishua and Nepheg and Japhia.
Ibha, Elishua, Nefeg, Jafia,
16 And Elishama and Eliada and Eliphelet.

17 And they heard [the] Philistines that people had anointed David to king over Israel and they went up all [the] Philistines to seek David and he heard David and he went down to the stronghold.
Mgbe ndị Filistia nụrụ na eteela Devid mmanụ ị bụ eze ndị Izrel, ha pụrụ ka igwe ha niile ha ịchọ ya. Ma Devid nụrụ maka ya, gbadaa nʼime ebe ahụ e wusiri ike.
18 And [the] Philistines they came and they were spread out in [the] valley of Rephaim.
Ma ndị Filistia bịara, gbasaa onwe ha na Ndagwurugwu Refaim niile.
19 And he enquired David by Yahweh saying ¿ will I go up against [the] Philistines ¿ will you give them in hand my and he said Yahweh to David go up for certainly I will give the Philistines in hand your.
Mgbe ahụ, Devid jụrụOnyenwe anyị ase sị, “Ọ bụ m gaa buso ndị Filistia agha? Ị ga-enyefe ha nʼaka m?” Onyenwe anyị zara sị ya, “Gaa, nʼihi na aghaghị m inyefe ndị Filistia nʼaka gị.”
20 And he went David in Baal Perazim and he struck down them there David and he said he has burst through Yahweh enemies my before me like a bursting out of water there-fore someone called [the] name of the place that Baal Perazim.
Ya mere, Devid gara Baal-Perazim, meriekwa ha nʼebe ahụ. O kwuru sị, “Onyenwe anyị enupula megide ndị iro m nʼihu m, dịka idee mmiri si enupu.” Nʼihi ya, a kpọrọ ebe ahụ Baal-Perazim.
21 And they abandoned there idols their and he carried off them David and men his.
Ndị Filistia hapụrụ arụsị niile ha nʼebe ahụ. Devid na ndị ikom ya chịkọtara ha chịpụ.
22 And they repeated again [the] Philistines to go up and they were spread out in [the] valley of Rephaim.
Ma ndị Filistia lọghachiri ọzọ, gbasaa onwe ha na Ndagwurugwu Refaim.
23 And he enquired David by Yahweh and he said not you must go up go around to behind them and you will go to them from in front of [the] balsam trees.
Nʼihi nke a, Devid jụrụ Onyenwe anyị ase, ọ zara sị, “Esitekwala nʼihu ha gaa, kama gaa gburugburu ruo nʼazụ ha, buso ha agha na ncherita ihu osisi balsam ndị ahụ.
24 And let it be (just as hearing you *Q(K)*) a sound of marching in [the] tops of the balsam trees then you will act decisively for then he has gone out Yahweh before you to strike [the] camp of [the] Philistines.
Ngwangwa ị nụrụ ụda ikiri ụkwụ nʼelu osisi balsam ndị ahụ, mee ngwa malite ọgụ, nʼihi na nke a pụtara na Onyenwe anyị eburula unu ụzọ pụọ, itigbu ndị agha Filistia.”
25 And he did David so just as he had commanded him Yahweh and he struck down [the] Philistines from Geba until coming you Gezer.
Devid mere dịka Onyenwe anyị nyere ya nʼiwu. O tigburu ndị Filistia, site na Geba ruo Gaza.
