2 Samuel 3
1 And it was the war long between [the] house of Saul and between [the] house of David and David [was] going and strong and [the] house of Saul [were] going and weak.
੧ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੱਕ ਯੁੱਧ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ, ਪਰ ਦਾਊਦ ਦਿਨੋ ਦਿਨ ਤਕੜਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਗਿਆ, ਪਰ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਦਾ ਘਰਾਣਾ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਗਿਆ।
2 (And they were born *Q(K)*) to David sons in Hebron and he was firstborn his Amnon of Ahinoam the Jezreelite [woman].
੨ਫਿਰ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਏ, ਉਹ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲੌਠੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਮਨੋਨ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਯਿਜ਼ਰੇਲਣ ਅਹੀਨੋਅਮ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਖੋਂ ਹੋਇਆ,
3 And [was] second his Kileab (of Abigail *Q(k)*) [the] wife of Nabal the Carmelite and [was] the third Absalom [the] son of Maacah [the] daughter of Talmai [the] king of Geshur.
੩ਦੂਜੇ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਕਿਲਆਬ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਕਰਮਲੀ ਨਾਬਾਲ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਅਬੀਗੈਲ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਖੋਂ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਗਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਤਲਮਈ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਮਅਕਾਹ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਖੋਂ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ,
4 And [was] the fourth Adonijah [the] son of Haggith and [was] the fifth Shephatiah [the] son of Abital.
੪ਅਤੇ ਚੌਥੇ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਅਦੋਨੀਯਾਹ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਗੀਥ ਨੇ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਵੇ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸ਼ਫ਼ਟਯਾਹ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਬੀਟਾਲ ਨੇ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ
5 And [was] the sixth Ithream of Eglah [the] wife of David these they were born to David in Hebron.
੫ਅਤੇ ਛੇਵਾਂ ਯਿਥਰਆਮ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਜੋ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਅਗਲਾਹ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਖੋਂ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਇਹ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਏ।
6 And it was when was war between [the] house of Saul and between [the] house of David and Abner he was strengthening himself in [the] house of Saul.
੬ਜਦ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੜਾਈ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਤਕੜਾ ਕੀਤਾ।
7 And [belonged] to Saul a concubine and name her [was] Rizpah [the] daughter of Aiah and he said to Abner why? have you gone into [the] concubine of father my.
੭ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਰਖ਼ੈਲ ਰਿਜ਼ਪਾਹ ਜੋ ਅੱਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਸੀ, ਈਸ਼ਬੋਸ਼ਥ ਨੇ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਰਖ਼ੈਲ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਉਂ ਸੰਗ ਕੀਤਾ?
8 And it burned to Abner exceedingly on [the] words of Ish-bosheth and he said ¿ [the] head of a dog [am] I which [belongs] to Judah this day I show loyalty with [the] house of - Saul father your to brothers his and to friend[s] his and not I have delivered you in [the] hand of David and you have visited on me [the] guilt of the woman this day.
੮ਅਬਨੇਰ ਈਸ਼ਬੋਸ਼ਥ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਕੀ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਕੁੱਤੇ ਦਾ ਸਿਰ ਹਾਂ? ਮੈਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੱਕ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਮਿੱਤਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੌਂਪਿਆ, ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਅੱਜ ਇਸ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ?
9 Thus may he do God to Abner and thus may he add to him if just as he swore Yahweh to David that so I will do for him.
੯ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਨਾਲ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੀ ਕਰੇ ਸਗੋਂ ਇਸ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਨਾ ਕਰਾਂ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਨਾਲ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਧੀ ਹੈ।
10 To take away the kingdom from [the] house of Saul and to establish [the] throne of David over Israel and over Judah from Dan and to Beer Sheba.
੧੦ਰਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਕਰ ਦੇਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੀ ਗੱਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬਏਰਸ਼ਬਾ ਤੱਕ ਸਥਿਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਵਾਂ!
11 And not he was able again to bring back Abner a word because feared he him.
੧੧ਤਦ ਉਹ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਫਿਰ ਕੁਝ ਉੱਤਰ ਨਾ ਦੇ ਸਕਿਆ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਡਰ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
12 And he sent Abner messengers - to David (in place of himself *Q(K)*) saying [belongs] to whom? [the] land saying make! covenant your with me and here! hand my [will be] with you to bring round to you all Israel.
੧੨ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਨੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਕੋਲ ਦੂਤ ਭੇਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਦੇਸ਼ ਕਿਹ ਦਾ ਹੈ? ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਾਇਦਾ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਜੋ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਮਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਵੱਲ ਕਰ ਦੇਵਾਂ।
13 And he said good I I will make with you a covenant only a thing one I [am] asking from with you saying not you will see face my for - except before bring you Michal [the] daughter of Saul when coming you to see face my.
੧੩ਤਦ ਦਾਊਦ ਬੋਲਿਆ, ਚੰਗੀ ਗੱਲ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਬਚਨ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਪਰ ਤੈਥੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਇੱਕ ਗੱਲ ਮੰਗਦਾ ਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਆਵੇਂ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਮੀਕਲ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾ ਲਿਆਵੇਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਕਦੇ ਨਾ ਵੇਖੇਂਗਾ।
14 And he sent David messengers to Ish-bosheth [the] son of Saul saying give! wife my Michal whom I betrothed to myself for a hundred foreskins of Philistines.
੧੪ਫਿਰ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਈਸ਼ਬੋਸ਼ਥ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਭੇਜਿਆ, ਮੇਰੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਮੀਕਲ ਨੂੰ, ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੌ ਖਲੜੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਵਿਆਹੀ ਸੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੱਥ ਸੌਂਪ ਦੇ।
15 And he sent Ish-bosheth and he took her from with a husband from with Paltiel [the] son of (Laish. *Q(K)*)
੧੫ਤਦ ਈਸ਼ਬੋਸ਼ਥ ਨੇ ਲੋਕ ਭੇਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਤੀ ਲੈਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਫ਼ਲਟੀਏਲ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਖੋਹ ਲਿਆ।
16 And he went with her husband her going and weeping after her to Bahurim and he said to him Abner go return and he returned.
੧੬ਤਦ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪਤੀ ਉਸ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਤੁਰਿਆ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਬਹੁਰੀਮ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤੱਕ ਰੋਂਦਾ ਆਇਆ। ਤਦ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਜਾ, ਮੁੜ ਜਾ! ਤਦ ਉਹ ਮੁੜ ਗਿਆ।
17 And [the] word of Abner it was with [the] elders of Israel saying both yesterday as well as [the] third day you were seeking David to king over you.
੧੭ਤਦ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਤਾਂ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਹੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਦਾਊਦ ਸਾਡਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਬਣੇ,
18 And therefore act for Yahweh he has spoken to David saying by [the] hand of - David servant my to deliver people my Israel from [the] hand of [the] Philistines and from [the] hand of all enemies their.
੧੮ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੀ ਕਰੋਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਛੁਟਕਾਰਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।
19 And he spoke also Abner in [the] ears of Benjamin and he went also Abner to speak in [the] ears of David at Hebron all that it was good in [the] eyes of Israel and in [the] eyes of all [the] house of Benjamin.
੧੯ਤਦ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਨੇ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣਾਈ ਤਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਾਵੇ।
20 And he came Abner to David Hebron and [were] with him twenty men and he made David for Abner and for [the] men who [were] with him a feast.
੨੦ਸੋ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਊਦ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਵੀਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਨ। ਤਦ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਾਵਤ ਕੀਤੀ।
21 And he said Abner to David let me arise - and let me go and let me gather to lord my the king all Israel so they may make with you a covenant and you will reign over all that it desires self your and he sent away David Abner and he went in peace.
੨੧ਅਬਨੇਰ ਨੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਉੱਠ ਕੇ ਜਾਂਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਰਾਜਾ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਜੋ ਓਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਾਇਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਜੀਅ ਕਰੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਰਾਜ ਕਰੋ। ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸੁੱਖ-ਸਾਂਦ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
22 And there! [the] servants of David and Joab [was] coming from the raid and plunder much with them they had brought and Abner not he [was] with David in Hebron for he had sent away him and he had gone in peace.
੨੨ਵੇਖੋ, ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਯੋਆਬ ਕਿਸੇ ਟੋਲੀ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਢੇਰ ਸਾਰੀ ਲੁੱਟ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੈ ਆਏ। ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਤੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਸੁੱਖ-ਸਾਂਦ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
23 And Joab and all the army which [was] with him they came and people told to Joab saying he came Abner [the] son of Ner to the king and he has sent away him and he has gone in peace.
੨੩ਜਦ ਯੋਆਬ ਅਤੇ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਲੋਕ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਨ ਆਏ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਯੋਆਬ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਨੇਰ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਰਾਜਾ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਤੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸੁੱਖ-ਸਾਂਦ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
24 And he went Joab to the king and he said what? have you done here! he came Abner to you why? this did you send away him and he has gone completely.
੨੪ਸੋ ਯੋਆਬ ਰਾਜਾ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਆ ਕੇ ਬੋਲਿਆ, ਇਹ ਤੂੰ ਕੀ ਕੀਤਾ? ਵੇਖ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਸੋ ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਵਿਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
25 You know Abner [the] son of Ner that to deceive you he came and to know exit your and (entrance your *Q(K)*) and to know all that you [are] doing.
੨੫ਤੂੰ ਨੇਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਉਹ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਧੋਖਾ ਕਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਆਉਣ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਭੇਦ ਲੈਣ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ।
26 And he went out Joab from with David and he sent messengers after Abner and they brought back him from [the] Cistern of Sirah and David not he knew.
੨੬ਫਿਰ ਜਦ ਯੋਆਬ ਦਾਊਦ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਆਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਦੂਤ ਭੇਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਓਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਾਹ ਦੇ ਖੂਹ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਮੋੜ ਲਿਆਏ ਪਰ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।
27 And he returned Abner Hebron and he turned aside him Joab into [the] middle of the gate (to speak *LA(bh)*) with him in quietness and he struck him there the belly and he died for [the] blood Asah-el brother his.
੨੭ਜਦ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੜ ਆਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਯੋਆਬ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਕੱਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਡਿਉੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੀ ਨੁੱਕਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਢਿੱਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾ ਅਸਾਹੇਲ ਦੇ ਖੂਨ ਬਦਲੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ।
28 And he heard David from after thus and he said [am] innocent I and kingdom my from with Yahweh until perpetuity from [the] blood of Abner [the] son of Ner.
੨੮ਇਹ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਜਦ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਬੋਲਿਆ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਜ ਸਮੇਤ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਨੇਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਦੇ ਖੂਨ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਰਦੋਸ਼ ਹਾਂ।
29 Let them whirl over [the] head of Joab and to all [the] house of father his and may not he be cut off from [the] house of Joab [one who] suffers a discharge and [one who] has a skin disease and [one who] takes hold on the spindle and [one who] falls by the sword and [one] lacking of bread.
੨੯ਉਹ ਯੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਯੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਰਹੇ ਜਿਹ ਦਾ ਲਹੂ ਵਗੇ ਜਾਂ ਕੋੜ੍ਹ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਲਾਠੀ ਫੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਤੁਰੇ ਜਾਂ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਡਿੱਗੇ ਜਾਂ ਰੋਟੀ ਦੀ ਘਾਟ ਹੋਵੇ!
30 And Joab and Abishai brother his they killed Abner on that he had killed Asahel brother their at Gibeon in the battle.
੩੦ਸੋ ਯੋਆਬ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਅਬੀਸ਼ਈ ਨੇ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਅਸਾਹੇਲ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਬਓਨ ਦੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਸੀ।
31 And he said David to Joab and to all the people which [was] with him tear garments your and gird yourselves sackcloth and mourn before Abner and the king David [was] walking after the bier.
੩੧ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਯੋਆਬ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਨ ਆਖਿਆ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਾੜੋ ਅਤੇ ਤੱਪੜ ਪਹਿਨ ਲਓ ਅਤੇ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਤੁਰ ਕੇ ਰੋਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਰਾਜਾ ਆਪ ਅਰਥੀ ਪਿੱਛੇ-ਪਿੱਛੇ ਤੁਰਿਆ।
32 And they buried Abner in Hebron and he lifted up the king voice his and he wept to [the] grave of Abner and they wept all the people.
੩੨ਸੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਨੂੰ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਫ਼ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਉੱਚੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਦੀ ਕਬਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਵੀ ਰੋਏ।
33 And he lamented the king because of Abner and he said ¿ like [the] death of a fool will he die Abner.
੩੩ਰਾਜਾ ਨੇ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਲਈ ਵਿਰਲਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਹਾਏ ਅਬਨੇਰ! ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਮੂਰਖ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਮਰਿਆ?
34 Hand your not [were] bound and feet your not to bronze fetters they were brought near as falls before sons of injustice you have fallen and they repeated all the people to weep on him.
੩੪ਤੇਰੇ ਹੱਥ ਬੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਏ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ, ਨਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਪੈਰੀਂ ਬੇੜੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਤੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਡਿੱਗਿਆ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਅਪਰਾਧੀ ਅੱਗੇ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਵੇ! ਤਦ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਭ ਲੋਕ ਹੋਰ ਰੋਏ।
35 And it came all the people to make to eat David bread while still day and he swore an oath David saying thus may he do to me God and thus may he add that except before goes the sun I will taste bread or all anything.
੩੫ਤਾਂ ਸਭ ਲੋਕ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਆਏ ਤੇ ਦਿਨ ਰਹਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਖੁਵਾਉਣ ਲੱਗੇ। ਤਦ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਜੇਕਰ ਮੈਂ ਸੂਰਜ ਡੁੱਬਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਰੋਟੀ ਜਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਕੁਝ ਖਾਵਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੀ ਕਰੇ ਸਗੋਂ ਇਸ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਵੱਧ ਕਰੇ!
36 And all the people they paid regard and it was good in view their like all that he did the king in [the] eyes of all the people it was good.
੩੬ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਲੱਗੀ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਰਾਜਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ, ਸਭ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਤੇ ਰਾਜ਼ੀ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ।
37 And they knew all the people and all Israel on the day that that not it was from the king to kill Abner [the] son of Ner.
੩੭ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਇਹ ਜਾਣ ਲਿਆ ਕਿ ਨੇਰ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਬਨੇਰ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਰਿਆ।
38 And he said the king to servants his ¿ not do you know that a leader and a great [man] he has fallen the day this in Israel.
੩੮ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਭਲਾ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸਗੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਮਹਾਂ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ?
39 And I this day [am] weak and [am] anointed king and the men these [the] sons of Zeruiah [are too] hard for me may he repay Yahweh to [the] doer of the evil according to evil his.
੩੯ਭਾਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਅਭਿਸ਼ੇਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਰਾਜਾ ਹਾਂ, ਫ਼ਿਰ ਵੀ ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਮੈਂ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਸਰੂਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਜ਼ੋਰਾਵਰੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਬੁਰਿਆਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਦਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
