2 Samuel 3
1 And it was the war long between [the] house of Saul and between [the] house of David and David [was] going and strong and [the] house of Saul [were] going and weak.
Sok ideig tartó hadakozás lőn a Saul háznépe között és a Dávid háznépe között. Dávid pedig mind feljebb-feljebb emelkedik és erősbödik vala; a Saul háza pedig alább-alább száll és fogy vala.
2 (And they were born *Q(K)*) to David sons in Hebron and he was firstborn his Amnon of Ahinoam the Jezreelite [woman].
Fiai születének Dávidnak Hebronban, kik között elsőszülött vala Ammon, a Jezréelből való Ahinoámtól;
3 And [was] second his Kileab (of Abigail *Q(k)*) [the] wife of Nabal the Carmelite and [was] the third Absalom [the] son of Maacah [the] daughter of Talmai [the] king of Geshur.
A második pedig Kileáb, a Kármelbeli Nábál feleségétől, Abigailtól való, és a harmadik Absolon, a Máákha fia, a ki a Gessurbeli Thalmai király leánya vala;
4 And [was] the fourth Adonijah [the] son of Haggith and [was] the fifth Shephatiah [the] son of Abital.
És a negyedik Adónia, Haggitnak fia, és az ötödik Sefátia, Abitál fia,
5 And [was] the sixth Ithream of Eglah [the] wife of David these they were born to David in Hebron.
A hatodik Ithreám, Eglától, Dávid feleségétől való: ezek születtek Dávidnak Hebronban.
6 And it was when was war between [the] house of Saul and between [the] house of David and Abner he was strengthening himself in [the] house of Saul.
Míg a hadakozás tartott a Saul házanépe és a Dávid házanépe között, Abner igen ragaszkodék a Saul házanépéhez.
7 And [belonged] to Saul a concubine and name her [was] Rizpah [the] daughter of Aiah and he said to Abner why? have you gone into [the] concubine of father my.
Vala pedig Saulnak egy ágyasa, kinek neve vala Rizpa, Ajának leánya; és monda Isbóset Abnernek: Miért mentél be az én atyámnak ágyasához?
8 And it burned to Abner exceedingly on [the] words of Ish-bosheth and he said ¿ [the] head of a dog [am] I which [belongs] to Judah this day I show loyalty with [the] house of - Saul father your to brothers his and to friend[s] his and not I have delivered you in [the] hand of David and you have visited on me [the] guilt of the woman this day.
Felette igen megharaguvék azért Abner az Isbóset szaván, és monda: Ebfej vagyok-é én, ki Júdával tart? Én most nagy irgalmasságot cselekedtem a te atyádnak, Saulnak házával, az ő atyjafiaival és rokonságaival, és nem adtalak téged Dávidnak kezébe; és te mégis ez asszonynak vétkét reám fogod most.
9 Thus may he do God to Abner and thus may he add to him if just as he swore Yahweh to David that so I will do for him.
Úgy cselekedjék Isten Abnerrel most és ezután is, hogy a mint megesküdött az Úr Dávidnak, én is a szerint cselekeszem vele:
10 To take away the kingdom from [the] house of Saul and to establish [the] throne of David over Israel and over Judah from Dan and to Beer Sheba.
Hogy elveszem a királyságot Saulnak házától, és megerősítem Dávidnak székét az Izráel és a Júda felett, Dántól fogva mind Bersebáig.
11 And not he was able again to bring back Abner a word because feared he him.
És nem felelhete semmit erre Abnernek, mivelhogy igen fél vala tőle.
12 And he sent Abner messengers - to David (in place of himself *Q(K)*) saying [belongs] to whom? [the] land saying make! covenant your with me and here! hand my [will be] with you to bring round to you all Israel.
Követeket külde azért Abner Dávidhoz maga helyett ilyen izenettel: Vajjon kié az ország? Azt mondván: Tégy frigyet velem, és ímé az én erőm is te melletted lesz, hogy az egész Izráelt hozzád hajtsam.
13 And he said good I I will make with you a covenant only a thing one I [am] asking from with you saying not you will see face my for - except before bring you Michal [the] daughter of Saul when coming you to see face my.
Kinek felele Dávid: Jó, én frigyet kötök veled. De mindazáltal egyet kérek tőled, mondván: Addig ne lássad az én arczomat, míg el nem hozod nékem Mikált, a Saul leányát, mikor ide akarsz jőni, hogy arczomat lássad.
14 And he sent David messengers to Ish-bosheth [the] son of Saul saying give! wife my Michal whom I betrothed to myself for a hundred foreskins of Philistines.
És követeket külde Dávid Isbósethez, a Saul fiához, kik ezt mondják: Add vissza az én feleségemet, Mikált, kit én száz Filiszteus előbőrével jegyeztem el magamnak.
15 And he sent Ish-bosheth and he took her from with a husband from with Paltiel [the] son of (Laish. *Q(K)*)
Elkülde azért Isbóset, és elvéteté őt az ő férjétől Páltieltől, Láis fiától.
16 And he went with her husband her going and weeping after her to Bahurim and he said to him Abner go return and he returned.
És vele ment az ő férje is, sírva követvén őt Bahurimig; és ott mondá néki Abner: Eredj, menj vissza; és haza tére.
17 And [the] word of Abner it was with [the] elders of Israel saying both yesterday as well as [the] third day you were seeking David to king over you.
Annakutána Abner szóla az Izráel véneinek, mondván: Immár régtől fogva kivántátok Dávidot, hogy királyotok legyen néktek:
18 And therefore act for Yahweh he has spoken to David saying by [the] hand of - David servant my to deliver people my Israel from [the] hand of [the] Philistines and from [the] hand of all enemies their.
Azért most vigyétek véghez; mert az Úr szólott Dávidnak, ezt mondván: Az én szolgámnak, Dávidnak keze által szabadítom meg az én népemet Izráelt a Filiszteusok kezéből, és minden ellenségeinek kezéből.
19 And he spoke also Abner in [the] ears of Benjamin and he went also Abner to speak in [the] ears of David at Hebron all that it was good in [the] eyes of Israel and in [the] eyes of all [the] house of Benjamin.
Azután szóla Abner a Benjámin nemzetségével is, és elméne Abner Dávidhoz is Hebronba, hogy megjelentse néki mindazt, a mi tetszenék Izráel népének és Benjámin egész nemzetségének.
20 And he came Abner to David Hebron and [were] with him twenty men and he made David for Abner and for [the] men who [were] with him a feast.
Mikor pedig eljutott Abner Dávidhoz Hebronba és ő vele együtt húsz ember, megvendégelé Dávid Abnert és a vele volt embereket.
21 And he said Abner to David let me arise - and let me go and let me gather to lord my the king all Israel so they may make with you a covenant and you will reign over all that it desires self your and he sent away David Abner and he went in peace.
Ennekutána monda Abner Dávidnak: Felkelek és elmegyek, hogy az egész Izráelt ide gyűjtsem az én uram eleibe, a király eleibe, a kik frigyet kössenek te veled, és uralkodjál mindeneken úgy, a mint szívednek tetszik. És visszabocsátá Dávid Abnert, és elméne békével.
22 And there! [the] servants of David and Joab [was] coming from the raid and plunder much with them they had brought and Abner not he [was] with David in Hebron for he had sent away him and he had gone in peace.
És ímé a Dávid szolgái és Joáb jőnek vala a táborból, és sok prédát hoznak magukkal, de Abner nem volt már Dávidnál Hebronban, mert elbocsátotta őt és békével elment vala.
23 And Joab and all the army which [was] with him they came and people told to Joab saying he came Abner [the] son of Ner to the king and he has sent away him and he has gone in peace.
Joáb pedig és az egész sereg, mely ő vele vala, a mint megérkezének, értesíték Joábot e dolog felől, mondván: Ide jött Abner, Nérnek fia a királyhoz, és visszabocsátá őt, és békével hazatére.
24 And he went Joab to the king and he said what? have you done here! he came Abner to you why? this did you send away him and he has gone completely.
Beméne azért Joáb a királyhoz és monda: Mit cselekedtél? Ímé Abner hozzád jött, miért bocsátád el őt, hogy elmenjen?
25 You know Abner [the] son of Ner that to deceive you he came and to know exit your and (entrance your *Q(K)*) and to know all that you [are] doing.
Ismered-é Abnert, a Nér fiát? Csak azért jött volt ide, hogy megcsalhasson, és kikémlelje a te kijövésedet és bemenésedet, és megtudjon mindent, a mit te cselekszel.
26 And he went out Joab from with David and he sent messengers after Abner and they brought back him from [the] Cistern of Sirah and David not he knew.
És kimenvén Joáb Dávidtól, követeket külde Abner után, kik visszahozák őt a Sira kútjától; Dávid azonban nem tudja vala.
27 And he returned Abner Hebron and he turned aside him Joab into [the] middle of the gate (to speak *LA(bh)*) with him in quietness and he struck him there the belly and he died for [the] blood Asah-el brother his.
Visszajövén Abner Hebronba, félreszólítá őt Joáb a kapu között, mintha titokban akarna vele beszélni, és általüté ott őt az ötödik oldalbordájánál, és meghala Asáelnek, a Joáb atyjafiának véréért.
28 And he heard David from after thus and he said [am] innocent I and kingdom my from with Yahweh until perpetuity from [the] blood of Abner [the] son of Ner.
Mely dolgot minekutána megtudott Dávid, monda: Ártatlan vagyok én és az én országom mindörökké az Úr előtt, Abnernek, a Nér fiának vérétől.
29 Let them whirl over [the] head of Joab and to all [the] house of father his and may not he be cut off from [the] house of Joab [one who] suffers a discharge and [one who] has a skin disease and [one who] takes hold on the spindle and [one who] falls by the sword and [one] lacking of bread.
Szálljon ez Joábnak fejére, és az ő atyjának egész háznépére; és el ne fogyjon a Joáb házából a folyásos, a bélpoklos, a mankón járó, és a ki fegyver miatt vész el, és a kenyér nélkül szűkölködő.
30 And Joab and Abishai brother his they killed Abner on that he had killed Asahel brother their at Gibeon in the battle.
Joáb pedig és Abisai, az ő atyjafia azért ölék meg Abnert, mivelhogy megölte vala az ő atyjokfiát, Asáelt Gibeonban a harczon.
31 And he said David to Joab and to all the people which [was] with him tear garments your and gird yourselves sackcloth and mourn before Abner and the king David [was] walking after the bier.
Monda pedig Dávid Joábnak és mind az egész népnek, mely vele vala: Szaggassátok meg ruháitokat, és öltözzetek zsákba, és sírjatok Abner előtt! Dávid király pedig megy vala a koporsó után;
32 And they buried Abner in Hebron and he lifted up the king voice his and he wept to [the] grave of Abner and they wept all the people.
És eltemeték Abnert Hebronban. Akkor felkiálta a király, és igen síra az Abner koporsója felett, és síra az egész nép is.
33 And he lamented the king because of Abner and he said ¿ like [the] death of a fool will he die Abner.
És a király gyászdalt szerezvén Abner felett, monda: Gaz halállal kelle kimulnia Abnernek?
34 Hand your not [were] bound and feet your not to bronze fetters they were brought near as falls before sons of injustice you have fallen and they repeated all the people to weep on him.
A te kezeid nem voltak megkötve, sem lábaid békóba verve; de úgy vesztél el, mint álnok ember miatt szokott elveszni az ember! És siratá őt ismét az egész nép.
35 And it came all the people to make to eat David bread while still day and he swore an oath David saying thus may he do to me God and thus may he add that except before goes the sun I will taste bread or all anything.
Előjöve pedig mind az egész nép, hogy enni adjanak Dávidnak, mikor még a nap fenn vala, de megesküvék Dávid, ezt mondván: Úgy cselekedjék én velem az Isten most és ezután is, hogy míg a nap le nem megy, sem kenyeret, sem egyebet nem eszem.
36 And all the people they paid regard and it was good in view their like all that he did the king in [the] eyes of all the people it was good.
Mely dolgot mikor az egész község megértett, igen tetszék nékik; valamint a többi dolga is, a mit a király cselekeszik vala, igen tetszék nékik.
37 And they knew all the people and all Israel on the day that that not it was from the king to kill Abner [the] son of Ner.
És megértette azon a napon az egész nép és az egész Izráel, hogy nem a királytól volt, hogy Abnert, a Nér fiát megölték.
38 And he said the king to servants his ¿ not do you know that a leader and a great [man] he has fallen the day this in Israel.
Monda pedig a király az ő szolgáinak: Nem tudjátok-é, hogy nagy fejedelem esett ma el az Izráelben?
39 And I this day [am] weak and [am] anointed king and the men these [the] sons of Zeruiah [are too] hard for me may he repay Yahweh to [the] doer of the evil according to evil his.
Én pedig ma erőtelen, noha felkent király vagyok; ezek pedig a Sérujának fiai hatalmasabbak nálamnál. De fizessen meg az Úr annak, a ki gonoszt cselekeszik, az ő gonoszsága szerint.
