1 And it was the war long between [the] house of Saul and between [the] house of David and David [was] going and strong and [the] house of Saul [were] going and weak.

2 (And they were born *Q(K)*) to David sons in Hebron and he was firstborn his Amnon of Ahinoam the Jezreelite [woman].

3 And [was] second his Kileab (of Abigail *Q(k)*) [the] wife of Nabal the Carmelite and [was] the third Absalom [the] son of Maacah [the] daughter of Talmai [the] king of Geshur.
A pabae ah Karmel Nabal yurho nu Abigal neh Kileab, A pathum ah Geshuri manghai Talmai canu Maakah capa Absalom,
4 And [was] the fourth Adonijah [the] son of Haggith and [was] the fifth Shephatiah [the] son of Abital.
a pali ah Haggith capa Adonijah, a panga ah Abital capa Shephatiah,
5 And [was] the sixth Ithream of Eglah [the] wife of David these they were born to David in Hebron.

6 And it was when was war between [the] house of Saul and between [the] house of David and Abner he was strengthening himself in [the] house of Saul.
Saul imkhui neh David imkhui laklo ah caemtloek a om a om vaengah Abner tah Saul imkhui ah khak om.
7 And [belonged] to Saul a concubine and name her [was] Rizpah [the] daughter of Aiah and he said to Abner why? have you gone into [the] concubine of father my.
Te vaengah Aiah canu a ming ah Rizpah tah Saul taengah yula la om. Tedae Abner te, “Balae tih a pa kah yula te na kun thil,” a ti nah.
8 And it burned to Abner exceedingly on [the] words of Ish-bosheth and he said ¿ [the] head of a dog [am] I which [belongs] to Judah this day I show loyalty with [the] house of - Saul father your to brothers his and to friend[s] his and not I have delivered you in [the] hand of David and you have visited on me [the] guilt of the woman this day.

9 Thus may he do God to Abner and thus may he add to him if just as he swore Yahweh to David that so I will do for him.
Pathen loh Abner te saii nawn saeh lamtah anih te khoengvoep nawn saeh. BOEIPA loh David a caeng vanbangla anih ham te ka saii van atah.
10 To take away the kingdom from [the] house of Saul and to establish [the] throne of David over Israel and over Judah from Dan and to Beer Sheba.
A ram te Saul imkhui lamloh a puen vetih Israel neh Judah soah Dan lamloh Beersheba duela David kah ngolkhoel a hol pah ham te khaw,” a ti nah.
11 And not he was able again to bring back Abner a word because feared he him.
Te vaengah anih te a rhih coeng dongah Abner te ol koep a mael ham khaw huem voel pawh.
12 And he sent Abner messengers - to David (in place of himself *Q(K)*) saying [belongs] to whom? [the] land saying make! covenant your with me and here! hand my [will be] with you to bring round to you all Israel.
Te phoeiah Abner loh David taengah amah yueng la puencawn a tueih tih anih kah yueng la, “Khohmuen ke u ham tloe nim? Nang neh kai moi bop pawn sih, Israel boeih te nang taengla aka maelh ham khaw ka kut he nang taengah om ta he,” a ti nah.
13 And he said good I I will make with you a covenant only a thing one I [am] asking from with you saying not you will see face my for - except before bring you Michal [the] daughter of Saul when coming you to see face my.
Te dongah David loh, “Then, kai loh nang taengah moi kam boh ngawn ni. Tedae ol pakhat te nang taeng lamloh tha sak ham kai loh kam bih. Ka maelhmai hmuh ham na pawk vaengah Saul canu Mikhal te nang khuen lamhma pawt atah ka maelhmai he na hmu mahpawh,” a ti nah.
14 And he sent David messengers to Ish-bosheth [the] son of Saul saying give! wife my Michal whom I betrothed to myself for a hundred foreskins of Philistines.
Te dongah David loh, “Philisti kah yanghli yakhat neh kamah ham ka bae ka yuu Mikhal te m'pae saeh, “tila voek sak ham Saul capa Ishbosheth taengah puencawn a tueih.
15 And he sent Ish-bosheth and he took her from with a husband from with Paltiel [the] son of (Laish. *Q(K)*)
Ishbosheth a tah vanbangla huta te a va Laish capa Paltiel taeng lamloh a bong pah.
16 And he went with her husband her going and weeping after her to Bahurim and he said to him Abner go return and he returned.
Tedae anih te a va loh a vai tih a caeh pah. Bahurim duela a hnukah a rhah pah hatah anih te Abner loh, “Mael lamtah cet laeh,” a ti nah tih vik mael.
17 And [the] word of Abner it was with [the] elders of Israel saying both yesterday as well as [the] third day you were seeking David to king over you.
Abner kah olka te Israel patong taengah om coeng tih, “Hlaem neh hlaemvai ah nangmih soah aka manghai la David aka toem khaw na om uh.
18 And therefore act for Yahweh he has spoken to David saying by [the] hand of - David servant my to deliver people my Israel from [the] hand of [the] Philistines and from [the] hand of all enemies their.
Saii uh kanoek laeh, BOEIPA loh David ham a uen pah coeng tih, 'Ka sal David kut loh ka pilnam Israel he Philisti kut lamkah, a thunkha cungkuem kut lamloh a khang ni, ' a ti,” a ti nah.
19 And he spoke also Abner in [the] ears of Benjamin and he went also Abner to speak in [the] ears of David at Hebron all that it was good in [the] eyes of Israel and in [the] eyes of all [the] house of Benjamin.
Abner loh Benjamin kah a hna dongah khaw a thui pah. Te phoeiah Abner te Hebron kah David hna ah Israel mikhmuh neh Benjamin imkhui pum kah mikhmuh ah boeih then coeng tila thui pah ham tloekloek cet.
20 And he came Abner to David Hebron and [were] with him twenty men and he made David for Abner and for [the] men who [were] with him a feast.
Abner loh a taengkah hlang pakul neh Hebron kah David te a paan. Te dongah David loh Abner neh anih taengkah hlang rhoek ham buhkoknah a saii pah.
21 And he said Abner to David let me arise - and let me go and let me gather to lord my the king all Israel so they may make with you a covenant and you will reign over all that it desires self your and he sent away David Abner and he went in peace.
Abner loh David taengah, “Ka thoo mai saeh lamtah ka cet mai eh. Ka boeipa manghai ham Israel pum te ka coi eh. Te daengah ni namah taengah paipi a saii uh vetih na hinglu loh a ngaih sarhui bangla na manghai thil eh?,” a ti nah. Te dongah David loh Abner te a tueih tih ngaimong la cet.
22 And there! [the] servants of David and Joab [was] coming from the raid and plunder much with them they had brought and Abner not he [was] with David in Hebron for he had sent away him and he had gone in peace.
Te vaengah David kah sal rhoek neh Joab tah caem lamloh pakcak ha pawk uh. Amih te kutbuem neh muep ha pawk uh. Tedae Abner tah a tueih coeng tih ngaimong la a caeh coeng dongah Hebron kah David taengah om voel pawh.
23 And Joab and all the army which [was] with him they came and people told to Joab saying he came Abner [the] son of Ner to the king and he has sent away him and he has gone in peace.
Joab neh amah taengkah caempuei te boeih ha pawk uh vaengah Ner capa Abner tah manghai taengla kun tih anih te a tueih dongah ngaimong la a caeh te Joab taengla a puen pa uh tih a thui pauh.
24 And he went Joab to the king and he said what? have you done here! he came Abner to you why? this did you send away him and he has gone completely.
Te dongah Joab loh manghai taengla kun tih, “Balae na saii he, namah taengla Abner ha pawk te ba ham lae anih te na tueih tih a caeh khaw a caeh rhoe.
25 You know Abner [the] son of Ner that to deceive you he came and to know exit your and (entrance your *Q(K)*) and to know all that you [are] doing.
Ner capa Abner te nang hloih ham ha pai tila na ming. Te dongah na thoengnah neh na kunnah, na aelnah aka dawn ham, na saii boeih te a dawn ham ni,” a ti nah.
26 And he went out Joab from with David and he sent messengers after Abner and they brought back him from [the] Cistern of Sirah and David not he knew.
Te phoeiah Joab te David taeng lamloh coe tih Abner hnukah puencawn a tueih. Te dongah Abner te Sirah tuito lamloh a mael puei uh dae David loh ming pawh.
27 And he returned Abner Hebron and he turned aside him Joab into [the] middle of the gate (to speak *LA(bh)*) with him in quietness and he struck him there the belly and he died for [the] blood Asah-el brother his.
Hebron la Abner ha mael vaengah anih te Joab loh vongka khui la duem a mawt. Te phoeiah a bung ah pahoi a thun tih Joab kah a manuca Asahel kah thii a yueng la Abner khaw duek.
28 And he heard David from after thus and he said [am] innocent I and kingdom my from with Yahweh until perpetuity from [the] blood of Abner [the] son of Ner.
Te phoei lamkah te David loh a yaak tih, “Ner capa Abner thii kawng dongah kamah neh ka ram he kumhal duela BOEIPA taengah ommongsitoe la om saeh.
29 Let them whirl over [the] head of Joab and to all [the] house of father his and may not he be cut off from [the] house of Joab [one who] suffers a discharge and [one who] has a skin disease and [one who] takes hold on the spindle and [one who] falls by the sword and [one] lacking of bread.
Joab lu so neh a napa imkhui boeih soah phuei uh saeh. Joab imkhui ah a thi a hnai neh aka pahuk, conghol dongah aka kuitung khaw, cunghang neh aka rhu, buh ka nai khaw pat boel saeh,” a ti.
30 And Joab and Abishai brother his they killed Abner on that he had killed Asahel brother their at Gibeon in the battle.
Gibeon caem vaengah a manuca Asahel a ngawn pah dongah Joab neh a mana Abishai loh Abner te a ngawn rhoi.
31 And he said David to Joab and to all the people which [was] with him tear garments your and gird yourselves sackcloth and mourn before Abner and the king David [was] walking after the bier.
David loh Joab neh a taengkah pilnam boeih taengah, “Na himbai phen uh, tlamhni vah uh, Abner hmai ah rhaengsae uh,” a ti nah tih, manghai David te baiphaih taengah cet.
32 And they buried Abner in Hebron and he lifted up the king voice his and he wept to [the] grave of Abner and they wept all the people.
Abner te Hebron ah a up uh. Manghai loh a ol a huel tih Abner phuel ah rhap. Te vaengah pilnam khaw boeih rhap uh.
33 And he lamented the king because of Abner and he said ¿ like [the] death of a fool will he die Abner.
Abner ham manghai te rhaengsae tih, “Hlang ang a duek bang lam a Abner a duek eh?,
34 Hand your not [were] bound and feet your not to bronze fetters they were brought near as falls before sons of injustice you have fallen and they repeated all the people to weep on him.
Na kut ham pin pawh, na kho khaw rhohum dongah man bal pawh, dumlai hlang kah mikhmuh ah a cungku uh bangla na cungku,” a ti. Anih te pilnam boeih loh a rhaep la a rhah.
35 And it came all the people to make to eat David bread while still day and he swore an oath David saying thus may he do to me God and thus may he add that except before goes the sun I will taste bread or all anything.

36 And all the people they paid regard and it was good in view their like all that he did the king in [the] eyes of all the people it was good.

37 And they knew all the people and all Israel on the day that that not it was from the king to kill Abner [the] son of Ner.

38 And he said the king to servants his ¿ not do you know that a leader and a great [man] he has fallen the day this in Israel.
Te vaengah manghai loh a sal rhoek te, “Mangpa neh hlangtang he na ming uh moenih a? Tihnin ah Israel lakli ah a cungku he.
39 And I this day [am] weak and [am] anointed king and the men these [the] sons of Zeruiah [are too] hard for me may he repay Yahweh to [the] doer of the evil according to evil his.
Tihnin ah ka mongkawt cakhaw manghai la ng'koelh tih Zeruiah koca tongpa rhoek lakah ka ning. Thae aka saii taengah a boethae bangla BOEIPA loh thuung saeh,” a ti nah.
