2 Samuel 22
1 And he spoke David to Yahweh [the] words of the song this on [the] day [when] he delivered Yahweh him from [the] hand of all enemies his and from [the] hand of Saul.
Setelah TUHAN menyelamatkan Daud dari Saul dan dari segala musuhnya yang lain, Daud menyanyikan lagu ini bagi TUHAN:
2 And he said Yahweh [is] rock my and stronghold my and deliverer my to me.
(Kucinta kepada-Mu, ya TUHAN, Engkaulah kekuatanku.)
3 O God of rock my [whom] I take refuge in him shield my and [the] horn of salvation my refuge my and place of escape my O deliverer my from violence you deliver me.
TUHAN seperti benteng yang kuat tempat aku berlindung. Allahku seperti gunung batu, tempat aku bernaung. Seperti perisai Ia menutupi aku, dan menjaga aku agar aman selalu.
4 [the one] to be praised I called out to Yahweh and from enemies my I am delivered.
Aku berseru kepada TUHAN yang patut dipuji, Ia membebaskan aku dari musuh-musuhku.
5 For they surrounded me [the] breakers of death torrents of worthlessness they overwhelmed me.
Aku dikelilingi bahaya maut dan digenangi banjir kebinasaan.
Aku dikelilingi bahaya maut, perangkap maut ada di depanku. (Sheol h7585)
7 When it was distress to me I called out to Yahweh and to God my I called out and he heard from temple his voice my and cry for help my [was] in ears his.
Dalam kesesakanku aku berseru kepada TUHAN, aku berteriak kepada Allahku mohon pertolongan. Dari Rumah-Nya Ia mendengar suaraku dan memperhatikan seruanku.
8 (And it shook back and forth *Q(K)*) and it quaked the earth [the] foundations of the heavens they trembled and they shook back and forth for it burned to him.
Lalu bumi berguncang dan bergetar, dasar-dasar gunung goyah dan gemetar karena kemarahan Allah!
9 It went up smoke in nose his and fire from mouth his it consumed coals they burned from him.
Asap menyembur dari lubang hidung-Nya, api dan bara keluar dari mulut-Nya.
10 And he bowed [the] heavens and he came down and thick darkness [was] under feet his.
Langit dibelah-Nya, lalu turunlah Ia, dengan awan gelap di bawah kaki-Nya.
11 And he rode on a cherub and he flew and he appeared on [the] wings of [the] wind.
Ia terbang dengan mengendarai kerub; Ia melayang di atas sayap angin.
12 And he put darkness around him shelters a sieve of waters dark clouds of clouds.
Ia menyelubungi diri-Nya dengan kegelapan; awan mendung yang tebal mengelilingi Dia.
13 From [the] brightness before him they burned coals of fire.
Dari kilat di hadapan-Nya, keluarlah awan, hujan es dan api.
14 He thundered from heaven Yahweh and [the] Most High he gave voice his.
Lalu TUHAN mengguntur dari angkasa, Yang Mahatinggi memperdengarkan suara-Nya.
15 And he sent arrows and he scattered them [with] lightning (and he routed [them]. *Q(K)*)
Ia menembakkan panah-panah-Nya, dan menceraiberaikan musuh. Ia menyambarkan kilat berulang-ulang dan membuat mereka lari.
16 And they appeared [the] channels of [the] sea they were uncovered [the] foundations of [the] world at [the] rebuke of Yahweh from [the] breathing of [the] breath of nose his.
Dasar laut tersingkap dan alas bumi terbuka waktu TUHAN membentak musuh-Nya dengan murka.
17 He stretched out from a high place he took hold of me he drew me from waters many.
Dari atas TUHAN mengulurkan tangan-Nya; dipegang-Nya aku dan ditarik-Nya dari air yang dalam.
18 He rescued me from enemy my mighty from [those who] hate me for they were [too] strong for me.
Ia menyelamatkan aku dari musuh yang perkasa dan dari orang-orang yang membenci aku karena mereka terlalu kuat bagiku.
19 They confronted me in [the] day of calamity my and he was Yahweh a support of me.
Mereka menyerang aku waktu aku ditimpa bencana tetapi TUHAN menjadi penolongku.
20 And he brought out to roomy place me he rescued me for he delighted in me.
Ia melepaskan aku dari bahaya dan menyelamatkan aku karena Ia berkenan padaku.
21 He dealt with me Yahweh according to righteousness my according to [the] cleanness of hands my he repaid to me.
TUHAN membalas perbuatanku yang benar; Ia memberkati aku sebab aku tidak bersalah.
22 For I have kept [the] ways of Yahweh and not I have acted wickedly from God my.
Aku mentaati perintah TUHAN, dan tidak berpaling dari Allahku.
23 For all (judgments his *Q(K)*) [are] to before me and statutes his not I turn aside from it.
Semua hukum-Nya kuperhatikan, perintah-perintah-Nya tidak kulalaikan.
24 And I was blameless to him and I kept myself! from iniquity my.
Ia tahu bahwa aku tidak bercela dan menjauhkan diri dari kesalahan.
25 And he repaid Yahweh to me according to righteousness my according to cleanness my to before eyes his.
Maka TUHAN membalas perbuatanku yang benar sebab Ia tahu aku tidak bersalah.
26 With a faithful [person] you show yourself faithful with a mighty [man] blameless you show yourself blameless.
TUHAN, Engkau setia kepada orang yang setia dan baik kepada orang yang baik.
27 With [one who] purifies himself you show yourself pure and with a perverse [person] you show yourself twisted.
Terhadap orang suci Kaunyatakan diri-Mu suci, tetapi orang yang jahat Kaumusuhi.
28 And a people afflicted you save and eyes your [are] on haughty [people] you bring [them] low.
Orang yang rendah hati Kauselamatkan; tetapi orang yang congkak Kautundukkan.
29 For you [are] lamp my O Yahweh and Yahweh he lightens darkness my.
Engkau menyalakan pelitaku; TUHAN Allahku menerangi kegelapanku.
30 For by you I run a marauding band by God my I leap over a wall.
Engkau menguatkan aku untuk menumpas musuh; dengan bantuan Allahku kudobrak pertahanan mereka.
31 God [is] blameless way his [the] word of Yahweh [is] refined [is] a shield he for all those [who] seek refuge in him.
Perbuatan Allah sempurna, janji TUHAN dapat dipercaya! Ia seperti perisai bagi semua yang berlindung pada-Nya.
32 For who? [is] God except Yahweh and who? [is] a rock except God our.
Sebab hanya Tuhanlah Allah; Allah saja pembela kita.
33 God [is] place of refuge my strength and he set free a blameless [person] (way my. *Q(K)*)
Dialah Allah yang menguatkan aku dan membuat jalanku aman.
34 [he is] making (Feet my *Q(K)*) like does and on high places my he makes stand firm me.
Ia menguatkan kakiku seperti kaki rusa, dan menjaga keselamatanku di pegunungan.
35 [he has] trained Hands my for battle and it will stretch a bow of bronze arms my.
Ia melatih aku untuk berperang, sehingga aku dapat merentangkan busur yang paling kuat.
36 And you gave to me [the] shield of salvation your and answering your you make great me.
TUHAN, Engkau melindungi dan menyelamatkan aku, dan menopang aku dengan kuasa-Mu aku menjadi unggul karena tindakan-Mu.
37 You enlarge step[s] my under me and not they slip ankles my.
Kaujaga aku supaya aku tidak tertawan
38 Let me pursue enemies my and I destroyed them and not I returned until brought to an end them.
Kukejar musuhku dan kukalahkan mereka, dan pantang mundur sampai mereka binasa.
39 And I brought to an end them and I shattered them and not they will rise! and they fell under feet my.
Kubanting mereka sampai tak dapat bangkit lagi, mereka rebah tak berdaya di depan kakiku.
40 And you have girded me strength for battle you make bow down [those who] rise against me under me.
Kauberi aku kekuatan untuk berperang, dan kemenangan atas musuh-musuhku.
41 And enemies my you have given to me a neck [those who] hate me and I destroyed them.
Kaubuat musuhku lari daripadaku;
42 They looked and there not [was] a deliverer to Yahweh and not he answered them.
Mereka berteriak, tetapi tak ada yang menolong, mereka berseru kepada TUHAN, tapi Ia tidak menjawab.
43 And I beat fine them like [the] dust of [the] earth like [the] mud of [the] streets I pulverized them I beat out them.
Mereka kuremukkan seperti debu yang berhamburan, dan kusapu seperti lumpur di jalan.
44 And you rescued me from [the] strifes of people my you kept me to [the] head of [the] nations a people [whom] not I knew they served me.
Engkau membebaskan aku dari kaum yang durhaka, dan menjadikan aku penguasa bangsa-bangsa; bangsa yang tidak kukenal menjadi hambaku.
45 Sons of foreignness they cringed to me to hear an ear they became obedient to me.
Orang-orang asing tunduk kepadaku, dan taat bila mendengar perintahku.
46 Sons of foreignness they withered and they may girdethemselves from strongholds their.
Keberanian mereka sudah hilang; mereka gemetar dan keluar dari kubunya.
47 [is] living Yahweh and [be] blessed rock my and may he be exalted [the] God of [the] rock of salvation my.
TUHAN hidup! Terpujilah pembelaku! Agungkanlah kebesaran Allah, penyelamatku!
48 God [is] the [one who] gives vengeance to me and [is] bringing down peoples under me.
Ia memberi aku kemenangan atas musuhku, bangsa-bangsa ditaklukkan-Nya di hadapanku,
49 And [is] bringing out me from enemies my and from [those who] rise against me you lift up me from a man of violence you rescue me.
diselamatkan-Nya aku dari lawan-lawanku. TUHAN, Kauberi aku kemenangan atas musuhku, Kaulindungi aku dari orang-orang yang kejam.
50 There-fore I will give thanks you O Yahweh among the nations and to name your I will sing praise.
Maka kuagungkan Engkau di antara bangsa-bangsa, dan kunyanyikan puji-pujian bagi-Mu.
51 ([the] tower *Q(K)*) Of [the] salvation of king his and [who] does covenant loyalty to anointed his to David and to offspring his until perpetuity.
Allah memberi kemenangan besar kepada raja yang dilantik-Nya, Ia tetap mengasihi orang pilihan-Nya, yaitu Daud dan keturunannya untuk selama-lamanya.
