< 2 Samuel 16 >
1 And David he passed on a little from the top and there! Ziba [the] servant of Mephi-bosheth to meet him and a pair of donkeys [were] saddled and [were] on them two hundred bread[s] and one hundred bunches of raisins and one hundred summer fruit and a skin of wine.
Hichun David in molsang ejat hamkhat alep nungin Mephibosheth soh pa Ziban Sangan ni apot poh ding to kikan sa le chanaglhah pheng jani, lengpi theiga boh jakhat, nipi lai theiga jat jakhat, chule lengpi twi savun bom dim set khat toh ana lamton ahi.
2 And he said the king to Ziba what? [are] these [things] to you and he said Ziba the donkeys [are] for [the] household of the king to ride (and the bread *Q(K)*) and the summer fruit [are] to eat the young men and the wine [is] to drink the weary [person] in the wilderness.
Hichun David lengpan Ziba chu hitin ana dong in, “Ipi dinga thil hi jatpi hi nahin poh hitam?” atileh; Ziban jong adonbut’in, “Sangan teni hi lengpa insung mite touna ding ahin, chule changlhah le nipi lai theiga hi sepai te neh ding ahin; chutengle lengpi twi hi gamthip laiya dangchah a thacholho don ding ahi,” ati.
3 And he said the king and where? [is] [the] son of master your and he said Ziba to the king there! [he is] dwelling in Jerusalem for he said this day they will restore to me [the] house of Israel [the] kingdom of father my.
Chuphat’in David lengpan adongpai in, “Napu tupa Mephibosheth chu hoiya ba um hitam?” atia ahileh; Ziban lengpa koma chun hitin asei e, “Vetan, ama chu tuni gei in Jerusalema aum jing nalaiye, chule keiman tunia hi kapupa Saul lenggam chu kale lah ding ahi ati.
4 And he said the king to Ziba here! [belongs] to you all that [belonged] to Mephi-bosheth and he said Ziba I bow down may I find favor in view your O lord my the king.
Chuin Ziba koma chun lengpan aseikit’in, “Ven, Mephibosheth thil le nei jouse chu aboncha tua hi nang na chan ding ahitai,” atipeh-e. Chutah chun Ziban jong asei pei jeng in, “Keiman nang kaja bol nahi, nei mu chan in kachunga lung lhai jing jengin, kapu kaleng pa,” ati.
5 And he came the king David to Bahurim and there! from there a man [was] coming out from [the] clan of [the] house of Saul and name his [was] Shimei [the] son of Gera [he was] coming out continuously and cursing.
Chule David chun Bahurim kho ahin phah phat’in Saul insung mi pasal khat ahung pot doh in, ama chu amin Shimei ahin, Gera chapa ahi; ahung pot doh in alamjot toh gaosap ahinkop in ahi.
6 And he stoned with stones David and all [the] servants of the king David and all the people and all the warriors [were] from right his and from left his.
Chujongle song alan David ahin, asepai jalamte ahin, chule ajet avei a mihat kigol ho jouse jong chu songin asep tan ahi.
7 And thus he said Shimei when cursed he get out get out O man of blood and O man of worthlessness.
Hitichun ami gaosap pum pum in Shimei chun asei in, “Chemang loiyin, chemang loiyin nangma thisan so hat le hindan helou mi nahi tin David henglam a chun asam tan ahi.
8 He has brought back on you Yahweh all - [the] blood of [the] house of Saul whom you have reigned (in place of him *Q(K)*) and he has given Yahweh the kingship in [the] hand of Absalom son your and here you [are] in calamity your for [are] a man of blood you.
Pakaiyin Saul insung mite thisan chu nachunga ahinle lhunsah ahitai. Nangman ama lenggam chu nanaguh ahin, chule tuahi Pakaiyin nachapa Absalom khut a apeh doh ahitai. Nangma thisan sohat nahiyeh a, nathemmo nachu nachung mama chu ahitai ati
9 And he said Abishai [the] son of Zeruiah to the king why? will he curse the dog dead this lord my the king let me pass over please and let me remove head his.
Chuphat’in Zeruiah chapa Abishai chun lengpa koma hitin asei e, “Ipi dinga hiche uithisa hin kapu lengpa hitia agao sap sap jeng ham? Neisol’in lang alol ga tan inge,” atileh;
10 And he said the king what? [is] to me and to you O sons of Zeruiah (thus *Q(K)*) he is cursing (for *Q(K)*) Yahweh he has said to him curse David and who? will he say why? have you done thus.
Lengpan jong aphoh in, “Zeruiah chapate Nangho kon nadoh beh uvem? Pakaiyin ajah a aseipih a keihi gaosap in atileh, nang koi nahija ama chu nakham ding ham ati.
11 And he said David to Abishai and to all servants his here! son my who he went out from inward parts my [is] seeking life my and indeed? for now [the] Ben-jaminite leave alone him so he may curse for he has spoken to him Yahweh.
Chujong le David chun Abishai le asoh te jouse koma hitin asei e, “Vetan, keima chapa mong mong in bon tha dinga eihola ahi leh, hiche Saul sopipa hin iti abolda thei ding ham! Hijeh chun don dau vin lang gao sap sah sah jeng tauvin; ajeh chu Pakaiyin bollin tia asei peh ahi.
12 Perhaps he will look Yahweh (on sin my *Q(K)*) and he will repay Yahweh to me good in place of curse his the day this.
Ijem itileh Pakaiyin ka genthei hesoh nahi eivet peh in tin, tunia eiki gaosap najeh a Pakaiyin keima dinga thilpha eibol peh theijoh ding ahi,” ati.
13 And he went David and men his on the road. And Shimei [was] going on [the] side of the mountain parallel with him he went and he cursed and he stoned [them] with stones parallel with him and he dusted [them] with dust.
Chuti chun David le amite chu lampia achepeh uvin; Shimei jong chu David chutoh kigal mupeh in thinglhang jui jui'a a che peh in agao sap sap jeng e; chule amaho chun David chu song le lei vui in jong asep’uvin ahi.
14 And he came the king and all the people which [was] with him exhausted and he refreshed himself there.
Chuin David lengpa le alhonpi mipi hochu abonchauvin athachol lheh taovin hichun Jordan vadung agei un abon uvin akichol un ahi.
15 And Absalom and all the people [the] man of Israel they came Jerusalem and Ahithophel [was] with him.
Chutah chun Absalom le Israel mite jouse jong chu Jerusalem a ahung uvin, Ahithophel kitipa chun Absalom ahin lhon pin ahi.
16 And it was just when came Hushai the Arkite [the] friend of David to Absalom and he said Hushai to Absalom may he live the king may he live the king.
Chuin David golpa Hushai Arkit mipa chu ahung lhun lhun in Absalom koma achipei in, ‘Hingsot in lengpa, lengpa hingsot in! tin ahin sam tai.
17 And he said Absalom to Hushai [is] this loyalty your with friend your why? not did you go with friend your.
Chutah chun Absalom in jong Hushai koma chun hitin asei e, “Hitia hi na golpa David chu nabol mong ding ham? Etidan a amatoh dingkhom lou nahim? tin adong tai.
18 And he said Hushai to Absalom In-deed [the one] whom he has chosen Yahweh and the people this and every man of Israel (to him *Q(K)*) I will belong and with him I will remain.
Ahin Hushai chun Absalom koma asei kit’in, “Ahipoi, koi koi hijeng jong le Pakai le hiche Israel miten abonchauva alhen doh pen pen chu kei jong ama a chu kahi jeng in, ama chutoh keima kalhat khom jing ding ahibou‘ve ati.
19 And the second [thing] whom? I will I serve ¿ not before son his just as I served before father your so I will be (before you. *LAB(h)*)
Chujong le keiman koi dang kin kabol ding ham? Lengpa chapa kin bola kapan teitei ding hilou ham? Keiman napa na kana toh bang bang a tua nangma na jong katoh ding ahi,” ati tai.
20 And he said Absalom to Ahithophel give for yourselves counsel what? will we do.
Hichun Absalom chun Ahithophel adongin, “Nalung gel temin, ipi aban kabol ding hitam?” ati.
21 And he said Ahithophel to Absalom go into [the] concubines of father your whom he left to keep the house and it will hear all Israel that you have made yourself odious with father your and they will be strong [the] hands of all who [are] with you.
Hichun Ahithophel jong chun Absalom asei peh in, “Napan in ngah dinga adalhah athaikem ho koma khun ga lut in lang galup pin; chutileh Israel pum pin nangma hi napa dou mah lamtah a kisa nahi tai, ti hin jadoh-uvintin, chuti le amahon nangma nahin jop soh kei diu ahi,” ati peh e.
22 And they pitched for Absalom the tent on the roof and he went Absalom into [the] concubines of father his to [the] eyes of all Israel.
Hichun mihon Absalom dingin inchungah pon buh ason peh’un, chuin Absalom chu Israel mite pumpi mitmu lai tah in apa thaikem ho koma alut jengin aluppi tan ahi.
23 And [the] counsel of Ahithophel which he counseled in the days those [was] just as (he enquires anyone *Q(K)*) by [the] word of God [was] so all [the] counsel of Ahithophel both to David as well as to Absalom.
Hiche lai a Ahithophel kitipan mi athumop tapou chu Pathen kamcheng tah a hungsoh banga anagel u ahi hitobang jeh a hi Absalom in Ahithophel thumop chu David in anabol banga anajui ahi.
