< 2 Samuel 16 >
1 And David he passed on a little from the top and there! Ziba [the] servant of Mephi-bosheth to meet him and a pair of donkeys [were] saddled and [were] on them two hundred bread[s] and one hundred bunches of raisins and one hundred summer fruit and a skin of wine.
David loe mae nui hoi angthla kue ahmuen ah caeh naah, khenah, Mephiboseth ih tamna Ziba mah anih to zing; laa hrang pongah phawh ih takaw kae cumvai hnetto, misurthaih kazaek cumvaito, thaiduet thaih kazaek cumvaito hoi misurtui pailang maeto a sinh.
2 And he said the king to Ziba what? [are] these [things] to you and he said Ziba the donkeys [are] for [the] household of the king to ride (and the bread *Q(K)*) and the summer fruit [are] to eat the young men and the wine [is] to drink the weary [person] in the wilderness.
Siangpahrang mah Ziba khaeah, Tih hanah hae hmuennawk hae na sin loe? tiah a dueng. Ziba mah, Laa hrangnawk loe siangpahrang imthung takoh kaminawk mah angthueng han ih, takaw hoi misurthaih kazaeknawk loe thendoengnawk mah caak han ih, misurtui loe angpho naah praezaek ah naek han ih kang sinh, tiah a naa.
3 And he said the king and where? [is] [the] son of master your and he said Ziba to the king there! [he is] dwelling in Jerusalem for he said this day they will restore to me [the] house of Israel [the] kingdom of father my.
To naah siangpahrang mah, Na angraeng capa loe naa ah maw oh? tiah a naa. Ziba mah siangpahrang khaeah, Khenah, vaihniah Israel imthung takoh mah, kampa ukhaih prae na paek o let tih, tiah a poek pongah, Jerusalem ah oh, tiah a naa.
4 And he said the king to Ziba here! [belongs] to you all that [belonged] to Mephi-bosheth and he said Ziba I bow down may I find favor in view your O lord my the king.
To naah siangpahrang mah Ziba khaeah, Mephiboseth ih hmuennawk boih loe nang ih hmuen ah oh boeh, tiah a naa. Ziba mah, Aw ka angraeng, siangpahrang, poek pahnaemhaih hoi na hmaa ah mikcuk naakrak ah ka oh han hmang, tiah a naa.
5 And he came the king David to Bahurim and there! from there a man [was] coming out from [the] clan of [the] house of Saul and name his [was] Shimei [the] son of Gera [he was] coming out continuously and cursing.
David siangpahrang loe Bahurim vangpui ah caeh naah, Saul imthung takoh kami ah kaom, Gera capa Shimei loe angzoh moe, anih to padaeng.
6 And he stoned with stones David and all [the] servants of the king David and all the people and all the warriors [were] from right his and from left his.
Anih mah David hoi a tamnanawk boih, anih ih banqoi bantang bangah kaom, kaminawk hoi thacak misatuh kaminawk boih to thlung hoiah vah.
7 And thus he said Shimei when cursed he get out get out O man of blood and O man of worthlessness.
Anih mah padaeng naah Shimei mah, Tacawt ah, tacawt ah; nang athii palong koeh kami, kami kasae!
8 He has brought back on you Yahweh all - [the] blood of [the] house of Saul whom you have reigned (in place of him *Q(K)*) and he has given Yahweh the kingship in [the] hand of Absalom son your and here you [are] in calamity your for [are] a man of blood you.
Saul ih prae to na lomh moe, anih zuengah siangpahrang ah na oh; anih imthung takoh kaminawk na humhaih athii to Angraeng mah na lu nuiah kraksak let boeh; Angraeng mah na ukhaih prae to na capa Absalom ban ah paek boeh; nang loe athii palong koeh kami ah na oh pongah, na zaehaih na nuiah krak boeh, tiah a naa.
9 And he said Abishai [the] son of Zeruiah to the king why? will he curse the dog dead this lord my the king let me pass over please and let me remove head his.
To naah Zeruiah capa Abishai mah siangpahrang khaeah, Tipongah hae ui qok mah ka angraeng siangpahrang to padaeng loe? Ka caeh moe, a lu ka takroek han, tiah a naa.
10 And he said the king what? [is] to me and to you O sons of Zeruiah (thus *Q(K)*) he is cursing (for *Q(K)*) Yahweh he has said to him curse David and who? will he say why? have you done thus.
Toe siangpahrang mah, Nang Zeruiah capanawk, nangcae hoi kai asaenghaih timaw oh? Anih mah padaeng nasoe; Angraeng mah, David padaeng han thui pae nahaeloe, timaw thui thai tih. Tipongah hae tiah na oh loe? tiah a naa.
11 And he said David to Abishai and to all servants his here! son my who he went out from inward parts my [is] seeking life my and indeed? for now [the] Ben-jaminite leave alone him so he may curse for he has spoken to him Yahweh.
David mah Abishai hoi a tamnanawk boih khaeah, Khenah, kaimah ih athii ngan thung hoi tacawt ka capa mah mataeng doeh ka hinghaih lak hanah pakrong boeh, hae ih Benjamin acaeng mah cae loe kawkrukmaw pakrong tih? Om o taak duem ah; Angraeng mah thuih pae boeh pongah, na padaeng nasoe.
12 Perhaps he will look Yahweh (on sin my *Q(K)*) and he will repay Yahweh to me good in place of curse his the day this.
Angraeng mah patang ka khanghaih to hnu ueloe, vaihniah ang padaeng zuengah kahoih hmuen na paek let tih, tiah a naa.
13 And he went David and men his on the road. And Shimei [was] going on [the] side of the mountain parallel with him he went and he cursed and he stoned [them] with stones parallel with him and he dusted [them] with dust.
To pongah David hoi angmah ih kaminawk to caeh o poe; Shimei loe mae taeng ih kalah loklam bangah caeh, lamcaeh noeh noeh, anih to padaeng noeh noeh moe, maiphu hoiah anih to haeh.
14 And he came the king and all the people which [was] with him exhausted and he refreshed himself there.
David hoi anih ih kaminawk boih loe angpho o boeh pongah, to ahmuen phak naah anghak o.
15 And Absalom and all the people [the] man of Israel they came Jerusalem and Ahithophel [was] with him.
To nathuem ah, Absalom hoi Israel kaminawk boih, Jerusalem ah angzoh o; Ahithophel doeh athum toeng.
16 And it was just when came Hushai the Arkite [the] friend of David to Absalom and he said Hushai to Absalom may he live the king may he live the king.
To naah David ih ampui, Ark acaeng Hushai loe Absalom khaeah caeh moe, siangpahrang hinglung sawk nasoe, siangpahrang hinglung sawk nasoe, tiah a naa.
17 And he said Absalom to Hushai [is] this loyalty your with friend your why? not did you go with friend your.
Absalom mah Hushai to lokdueng, Hae hae nampui khaeah amlunghaih amtuengsak ih lok maw? Tipongah nampui khaeah na caeh ai loe? tiah a naa.
18 And he said Hushai to Absalom In-deed [the one] whom he has chosen Yahweh and the people this and every man of Israel (to him *Q(K)*) I will belong and with him I will remain.
Hushai mah Absalom khaeah, To tih na ai ni; kai loe Angraeng mah maw, kaminawk boih hoi Israel kaminawk boih mah maw, qoih ih kami khaeah ka oh han; anih khaeah ni ka oh poe han.
19 And the second [thing] whom? I will I serve ¿ not before son his just as I served before father your so I will be (before you. *LAB(h)*)
Kai loe mi ih tok maw ka sak han? A capa ih tok to ka sah mak ai maw? Ampa ih tok ka sak pae baktih toengah, na tok doeh ka sak han, tiah a naa.
20 And he said Absalom to Ahithophel give for yourselves counsel what? will we do.
Absalom mah Ahithophel khaeah, Timaw a sak o han, tiah poekhaih na paek ah, tiah a naa.
21 And he said Ahithophel to Absalom go into [the] concubines of father your whom he left to keep the house and it will hear all Israel that you have made yourself odious with father your and they will be strong [the] hands of all who [are] with you.
Ahithophel mah, Siangpahrang im khetzawn hanah nampa mah caeh taak ih, a zulanawk to iip haih ah; hae tiah na sak nahaeloe Israel kaminawk boih mah nampa to panuet thok ah na sak boeh, tiah thaih o ueloe, na taengah kaom kaminawk boih thacak o tih, tiah a naa.
22 And they pitched for Absalom the tent on the roof and he went Absalom into [the] concubines of father his to [the] eyes of all Israel.
To pongah Absalom hanah imphu ah impoem tetta sak pae o moe, Israel kaminawk boih ih mikhnukah Absalom mah ampa ih zulanawk to iih haih.
23 And [the] counsel of Ahithophel which he counseled in the days those [was] just as (he enquires anyone *Q(K)*) by [the] word of God [was] so all [the] counsel of Ahithophel both to David as well as to Absalom.
To nathuem ah Ahithophel mah paek ih poekhaih loe, Sithaw khaeah dueng moe, hnuk ih lok baktiah oh; David hoi Absalom mah doeh anih mah paek ih poekhaih to Sithaw mah paek ih lok baktiah poek hoi.
