2 Samuel 13
1 And it was after thus and [belonged] to Absalom [the] son of David a sister a beautiful and name her [was] Tamar and he loved her Amnon [the] son of David.
Kế sau ấy, xảy có việc nầy: Aùp-sa-lôm, con trai của Đa-vít, có một em gái ruột, tên là Ta-ma, rất lịch sự; Am-nôn, con trai của Đa-vít, thương nàng.
2 And it was distress to Amnon to make himself sick for sake of Tamar sister his for [was] a virgin she and it was difficult in [the] eyes of Amnon to do to her anything.
Am-nôn mê mệt vì cớ Ta-ma em gái mình; đến đỗi thành bịnh; vì nàng là đồng trinh, lấy làm khó cho Am-nôn được chi với nàng.
3 And [belonged] to Amnon a friend and name his [was] Jonadab [the] son of Shimeah [the] brother of David and Jonadab [was] a man shrewd very.
Vả, Am-nôn có một bạn hữu tên là Giô-na-đáp, con trai của Si-mê-a, là anh Đa-vít; người nầy rất quỉ quyệt.
4 And he said to him why? [are] you thus weak O son of the king in the morning in the morning ¿ not will you tell to me and he said to him Amnon Tamar [the] sister of Absalom brother my I [am] loving.
Giô-na-đáp nói cùng Am-nôn rằng: Hỡi vương tử, nhơn sao một ngày một hao mòn như vậy? Vương tử sẽ thú thật với tôi chăng? Am-nôn đáp: Ta thương Ta-ma, em gái của Aùp-sa-lôm, là em trai ta.
5 And he said to him Jonadab lie down on bed your and make yourself sick and he will come father your to see you and you will say to him let her come please Tamar sister my and let her cause to eat me food and she will make to eyes my the food so that that I may see and I will eat from hand her.
Giô-na-đáp nói cùng người rằng: Vương tử hãy nằm trên giường, làm bộ đau; rồi khi vua cha đến thăm, hãy nói rằng: con xin cha cho Ta-ma, em gái con, đến cho con ăn; nó sẽ dọn món ăn trước mặt con, con sẽ thấy nó làm, và sẽ nhận lấy đồ ăn từ nơi tay nó.
6 And he lay down Amnon and he made himself sick and he came the king to see him and he said Amnon to the king let her come please Tamar sister my and let her make cakes to eyes my two cakes so I may eat from hand her.
Vậy, Am-nôn nằm làm bộ đau. Vua đến thăm, thì Am-nôn nói cùng vua rằng: Con xin cha cho Ta-ma đến đây, làm hai cái bánh nhỏ tại trước mắt con; con sẽ nhận lấy bánh ấy nơi tay nó.
7 And he sent David to Tamar the house towards saying go please [the] house of Amnon brother your and make for him the food.
Đa-vít sai người đến cùng Ta-ma, bảo nàng rằng: Hãy đi đến nhà Am-nôn, anh con, và làm món chi để ăn.
8 And she went Tamar [the] house of Amnon brother her and he [was] lying down and she took the dough (and she kneaded [it] *Q(k)*) and she made cakes to eyes his and she cooked the cakes.
Ta-ma đi đến nhà anh mình; người đang nằm. Trước mặt người, nàng lấy bột mì, nhồi làm bánh nhỏ và hấp đi.
9 And she took the pan and she poured out before him and he refused to eat and he said Amnon send out every person from with me and they went out every person from with him.
Đoạn, nàng nhắc chảo nhỏ xuống, và trút bánh ra trong mâm; nhưng Am-nôn từ chối không ăn, bèn nói rằng: Hãy biểu mọi người ra khỏi đây. Hết thảy đều lui ra.
10 And he said Amnon to Tamar bring the food the chamber so I may eat from hand your and she took Tamar the cakes which she had made and she brought [them] to Amnon brother her the chamber towards.
Bấy giờ, Am-nôn nói cùng Ta-ma rằng: Hãy bưng đồ ăn em đã dọn cho anh vào trong phòng, để anh nhận lấy nó từ nơi tay em. Ta-ma bèn lấy các bánh nhỏ mình đã làm, bưng vào cho Am-nôn, anh mình, ở trong phòng.
11 And she brought [them] to him to eat and he took hold on her and he said to her come lie with me O sister my.
Nàng dâng bánh cho người ăn; nhưng người vớ lấy nàng mà nói rằng: Em ơi, hãy đến ngủ cùng anh.
12 And she said to him may [you] not O brother my may not you humble me for not it will be done thus in Israel may not you do the disgraceful folly this.
Nàng đáp với người rằng: Không được anh; chớ làm nhục tôi, vì trong Y-sơ-ra-ên người ta chẳng làm như vậy. Chớ phạm sự ô hạnh nầy!
13 And I where? will I bring reproach my and you you will be like one of the fools in Israel and now speak please to the king for not he will withhold me from you.
Tôi sẽ mang sự sỉ nhục tôi đi đâu? Còn anh sẽ như một người ô danh trong Y-sơ-ra-ên. Thà anh nói cùng vua thì hơn; vua chẳng cấm anh lấy tôi làm vợ.
14 And not he was willing to listen to voice her and he was strong more than her and he humbled her and he lay with with her.
Nhưng Am-nôn không khứng nghe nàng; và vì người mạnh hơn, bèn gian hiếp nàng, nằm cùng nàng.
15 And he hated her Amnon hatred great very that [was] great the hatred which he hated her more than [the] love which he had loved her and he said to her Amnon get up go.
Rồi đó, Am-nôn lấy làm gớm ghét nàng quá, đến đỗi tình người ghen ghét nàng lại lớn hơn tình thương yêu nàng khi trước. Am-nôn nói cùng nàng rằng: Hãy đứng dậy, đi đi!
16 And she said to him may not [the] causes of the evil great this [be] more than [the] other which you have done with me to send away me and not he was willing to listen to her.
Nàng đáp: Chớ đuổi tôi đi mà làm cho tôi một sự quấy lớn hơn sự quấy anh đã làm rồi! Nhưng người không khứng nghe nàng;
17 And he summoned young man his [who] served him and he said send away please this [woman] from with me the outside towards and lock the door after her.
bèn gọi một đứa trẻ hầu hạ, mà biểu rằng: Hãy đuổi đàn bà nầy ra khỏi trước mặt ta, rồi đóng cửa khóa chốt lại!
18 And [was] on her a long garment of palms and soles for thus they wore [the] daughters of the king the virgins robes and he made go out her servant his the outside and he locked the door after her.
Vả, nàng mặc một cái áo trong dài, vì các công chúa đều mặc áo như thế đang khi còn đồng trinh. Vậy, tôi tớ của Am-nôn đuổi nàng ra và đóng cửa lại.
19 And she took Tamar ash[es] on head her and [the] long garment of the palms and soles which [was] on her she tore and she put hand her on head her and she went continuously and she cried out.
Ta-ma bèn bỏ tro trên đầu mình, xé áo dài, và bưng tay trên đầu, vừa đi vừa cất tiếng la.
20 And he said to her Absalom brother her ¿ Amnon brother your has he been with you and now O sister my keep silent [is] brother your he may not you set heart your to the matter this and she dwelt Tamar a desolate [woman] [the] house of Absalom brother her.
Aùp-sa-lôm, anh nàng, hỏi nàng rằng: Có phải Am-nôn, anh của em đã nằm cùng em chăng? Thế thì, hỡi em, hãy làm thinh, vì là anh của em; chớ lấy sự đó mà cực lòng quá! Như vậy, Ta-ma ở riêng ra nơi nhà Aùp-sa-lôm, anh nàng.
21 And the king David he heard all the things these and it burned to him exceedingly.
Vua Đa-vít hay được các điều đó, bèn giận lắm.
22 And not he spoke Absalom with Amnon from bad and unto good for he hated Absalom Amnon on [the] thing that he had humbled Tamar sister his.
Aùp-sa-lôm chẳng còn nói cùng Am-nôn một lời nào, hoặc lành hay dữ, vì người ghét Am-nôn, bởi Am-nôn đã gian hiếp Ta-ma, em gái mình.
23 And it was to two years days and they belonged shearers to Absalom at Baal Hazor which [is] near Ephraim and he invited Absalom all [the] sons of the king.
Cách hai năm sau, đang lúc Aùp-sa-lôm hớt lông chiên mình tại Ba-anh-Hát-so gần Eùp-ra-im, người mời hết thảy các vương tử.
24 And he went Absalom to the king and he said here! please shearers [belong] to servant your let him go please the king and servants his with servant your.
Aùp-sa-lôm đến cùng vua mà thưa rằng: Kẻ tôi tớ vua có những thợ hớt lông chiên nơi nhà; vậy, xin vua cùng quần thần của vua đến nhà kẻ tôi tớ vua.
25 And he said the king to Absalom may [we] not O son my may not please we go all of us and not we will be heavy on you and he urged him and not he was willing to go and he blessed him.
Nhưng vua đáp cùng Aùp-sa-lôm rằng: Không được, con; hết thảy chúng ta không đi đến nhà con, vì sẽ làm tổn phí cho con. Mặc dầu Aùp-sa-lôm cố nài, Đa-vít không chịu đi đến đó; nhưng Đa-vít chúc phước cho người.
26 And he said Absalom and not let him go please with us Amnon brother my and he said to him the king why? will he go with you.
Aùp-sa-lôm bèn nói rằng: Nếu vua không đến, xin cho phép Am-nôn, anh tôi, đến cùng chúng tôi. Vua đáp: Cớ sao nó sẽ đi đến cùng con?
27 And he urged him Absalom and he sent with him Amnon and all [the] sons of the king.
Nhưng Aùp-sa-lôm cố nài đến đỗi vua để cho Am-nôn và hết thảy vương tử đi với người.
28 And he commanded Absalom servants his saying look please when is good [the] heart of Amnon with the wine and I will say to you strike down Amnon and you will kill him may not you be afraid ¿ In-deed I I have commanded you be strong and become sons of strength.
Vả, Aùp-sa-lôm truyền lịnh cho các tôi tớ mình rằng: Hãy ý tứ, xem khi lòng Am-nôn vui vì rượu, và khi ta bảo các ngươi: Hãy đánh Am-nôn, thì bấy giờ, hãy giết hắn đi, chớ sợ chi: ấy chính ta dặn biểu các ngươi làm điều đó. Khá can đảm, tỏ mình ra mạnh bạo!
29 And they did [the] servants of Absalom to Amnon just as he had commanded Absalom and they arose - all [the] sons of the king and they mounted each on mule his and they fled.
Các tôi tớ Aùp-sa-lôm xử Am-nôn y như người đã truyền cho họ. Bấy giờ, các vương tử đứng dậy, cỡi lừa và chạy trốn.
30 And it was they [were] on the way and the report it came to David saying he has struck down Absalom all [the] sons of the king and not he is left of them one.
Đang khi các vương tử ở dọc đường, có tiếng thấu đến vua Đa-vít rằng Aùp-sa-lôm đã giết các vương tử rồi, không có một ai thoát khỏi.
31 And he arose the king and he tore garments his and he lay down [the] ground towards and all servants his [were] standing torn of garments.
Vua đứng dậy, xé áo mình và nằm dưới đất; hết thảy tôi tớ người đứng chầu gần bên, áo cũng xé rách.
32 And he answered Jonadab - [the] son of Shimeah [the] brother of David and he said may not he say lord my all the young men [the] sons of the king they have killed for Amnon to only him he has died for on [the] mouth of Absalom it was determined from [the] day humbled he Tamar sister his.
Nhưng Giô-na-đáp, con trai Si-mê-a, là anh Đa-vít, cất tiếng nói rằng: Xin chúa tôi chớ tưởng rằng các vương tử của chúa đã bị giết hết; vì chỉ một mình Am-nôn bị chết thôi; ấy là việc Aùp-sa-lôm đã định ý làm từ ngày Am-nôn gian hiếp Ta-ma, em gái của người.
33 And therefore may not he set lord my the king to heart his a word saying all [the] sons of the king they have died that (except *Q(K)*) Amnon to only him he has died.
Aáy vậy, xin vua chúa tôi, chớ tưởng rằng hết thảy vương tử đã chết; chỉ một mình Am-nôn chết đó thôi.
34 And he fled Absalom and he lifted up the servant who kept watch (eyes his *Q(K)*) and he saw and there! a people numerous [was] coming from [the] road behind him (at the descent and he went the watchman and he told to the king and he said men I saw [were] going down from direction of Horonaim *X*) from [the] side of the mountain.
Aùp-sa-lôm đã chạy trốn. Kẻ tôi tớ đang ở vọng canh, ngước mắt lên, nhìn thấy một đoàn người đông lắm đi tới, do theo đường tây, về phía núi.
35 And he said Jonadab to the king there! [the] sons of the king they have come according to [the] word of servant your so it has happened.
Giô-na-đáp tâu cùng vua rằng: Tôi thấy các vương tử đến; việc đã xảy ra y như tôi tớ vua đã nói.
36 And it was - when finished he to speak and there! [the] sons of the king they came and they lifted up voice their and they wept and also the king and all servants his they wept a weeping a great very.
Người nói vừa dứt, thì thấy các vương tử đến; họ đều cất tiếng lên khóc. Vua và hết thảy tôi tớ cũng đều tuôn tràn giọt lụy.
37 And Absalom he fled and he went to Talmai [the] son of (Ammihud *Q(K)*) [the] king of Geshur and he mourned on son his all the days.
Còn Aùp-sa-lôm đã chạy trốn, và ẩn tại nhà Thanh-mai, con trai A-mi-hút, vua xứ Ghe-su-rơ. Đa-vít để tang cho con trai mình luôn luôn.
38 And Absalom he fled and he went Geshur and he was there three years.
Aùp-sa-lôm trốn tại xứ Ghê-su-rơ ba năm.
39 And it [fem] completed David the king to go out against Absalom for he was comforted on Amnon that he had died.
Đoạn, vua Đa-vít bỏ không đuổi theo Aùp-sa-lôm nữa, vì vua đã được giải buồn về sự chết của Am-nôn.
