2 Samuel 12
1 And he sent Yahweh Nathan to David and he came to him and he said to him two men they were in a city one one [was] rich and one [was] poor.
Y él Señor envió a Natán a David. Y Natán se acercó a él y le dijo: Había dos hombres en la misma ciudad. Uno era un hombre de gran riqueza y el otro es un hombre pobre.
2 To [the] rich [man] it belonged flock[s] and herd[s] many very.
El hombre rico tenía gran número de rebaños y manadas;
3 And [belonged] to the poor [man] not anything that except a ewe-lamb one small which he had acquired and he nourished it and it grew up with him and with children his together from morsel his it ate and from cup his it drank and in bosom his it lay down and it was to him like a daughter.
Pero el pobre tenía sólo un corderito, que había recibido y atendido desde su nacimiento había estado con él como uno de sus hijos; comía de su plato, y de su taza tomó su bebida, descansando en sus brazos, y fue como una hija para él.
4 And he came a traveler to [the] man rich and he spared to take one of own sheep his and one of own cattle his to prepare for the traveler who had come to him and he took [the] ewe-lamb of the man poor and he prepared it for the man who had come to him.
Llegó un viajero a la casa del hombre rico, pero no quiso matar de su rebaño ni de su manada para hacer una comida para el viajero que había venido a él, sino que tomó el cordero del hombre pobre y lo preparó para el hombre que había venido.
5 And it burned [the] anger of David on the man exceedingly and he said to Nathan [by] [the] life of Yahweh for [is] a son of death the man who did this.
Y David se llenó de ira contra aquel hombre; y le dijo a Natán: Por el Señor viviente, la muerte es el castigo correcto para el hombre que ha hecho esto.
6 And the ewe-lamb he will restore fourfold consequence that he did the thing this and on that not he showed pity.
Y tendrá que devolver cuatro veces el valor del cordero, porque lo que ha hecho y porque no tuvo piedad.
7 And he said Nathan to David you [are] the man thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel I I anointed you to king over Israel and I I delivered you from [the] hand of Saul.
Y Natán dijo a David: Tú eres ese hombre. El Señor Dios de Israel dice: Te hice rey sobre Israel, poniendo aceite santo sobre ti, y te mantuve a salvo de las manos de Saúl;
8 And I gave! to you [the] house of master your and [the] wives of master your in bosom your and I gave! to you [the] house of Israel and Judah and if little and I will add to you like those and like those.
Te di la hija de tu amo y las esposas de tu amo para ti, y te di las hijas de Israel y Judá; y si eso no hubiera sido suficiente, te habría dado muchas cosas más.
9 Why? have you despised - [the] word of Yahweh by doing the evil (in eyes my *Q(K)*) Uriah the Hittite you struck down with the sword and wife his you took for yourself to a wife and him you killed with [the] sword of [the] people of Ammon.
¿Por qué, pues, no has respetado la palabra del Señor, haciendo lo que es malo ante sus ojos? Has matado con la espada a Urías, el hitita, y has tomado a su esposa para que sea tu esposa; lo has matado con la espada de los hijos de Amón.
10 And therefore not it will depart [the] sword from house your until perpetuity consequence for you despised me and you took [the] wife of Uriah the Hittite to become of you a wife.
Así que la violencia nunca se apartará de tu familia; porque no me has respetado y has tomado a la esposa de Urías, el hitita, para que sea tu esposa.
11 Thus - he says Yahweh here I [am] about to raise up on you calamity from own house your and I will take wives your to eyes your and I will give [them] to neighbor your and he will lie with wives your to [the] eyes of the sun this.
El Señor dice: De los de tu familia enviaré el mal contra ti, y ante tus propios ojos tomaré a tus esposas y se las daré a tu prójimo, y él llevará a tus esposas a su cama a plena luz del sol.
12 For you you acted in secret and I I will do the thing this before all Israel and before the sun.
Lo hiciste en secreto; pero haré esto ante todo Israel y a la luz del sol.
13 And he said David to Nathan I have sinned to Yahweh. And he said Nathan to David also Yahweh he has taken away sin your not you will die.
Y David dijo a Natán: Grande es mi pecado contra el Señor. Y Natán dijo a David: El Señor ha quitado tu pecado; La muerte no vendrá sobre ti.
14 Nevertheless for indeed you have declared contemptible [the] enemies of Yahweh by the thing this also the son born to you certainly he will die.
Pero aún así, debido a que no has respetado al Señor, la muerte ciertamente alcanzará al niño que acaba de nacer.
15 And he went Nathan to house his and he struck Yahweh the child whom she had borne [the] wife of Uriah to David and he was sick.
Entonces Natán volvió a su casa. Y la mano del Señor estaba sobre el hijo de David, el hijo de la esposa de Urías, y se puso muy enfermo.
16 And he sought David God for the lad and he fasted David a fast and he went and he passed [the] night and he lay (in the sackcloth *X*) [the] ground towards.
Entonces David hizo oración a Dios por el niño; y no tomó comida día tras día, entró y, extendiéndose sobre la tierra, estuvo allí toda la noche.
17 And they stood [the] elders of house his with him to raise him from the ground and not he was willing and not he ate with them food.
Y los principales de su casa se levantaron y fueron a su lado para hacerlo levantarse de la tierra, pero él no quiso; y no quiso comer con ellos.
18 And it was on the day seventh and he died the child and they were afraid [the] servants of David to tell to him - that he had died the child for they said here! when was the child alive we spoke to him and not he listened to voice our and how? will we say to him he has died the child and he will do harm.
Y luego, al séptimo día, tuvo lugar la muerte del niño. Y los siervos de David temían darle la noticia de la muerte del niño, porque decían: En verdad, mientras el niño aún vivía, y no nos hacía caso: ¿qué hará si le damos la noticia que el niño está muerto?
19 And he saw David that servants his [were] whispering to one another and he understood David that he had died the child and he said David to servants his ¿ has he died the child and they said he has died.
Pero cuando David vio que sus siervos hablaban juntos en voz baja, tuvo la certeza de que el niño había muerto y dijo a sus criados: ¿Ha muerto el niño? Y ellos dijeron: Si.
20 And he arose David from the ground and he bathed and he anointed himself and he changed (garments his *Q(K)*) and he went [the] house of Yahweh and he bowed down and he went to own house his and he asked and they set for him food and he ate.
Entonces David se levantó de la tierra, y después de lavarse y frotarse con aceite y de cambiarse de ropa, entró en la casa del Señor y le dio adoración. Luego volvió a su casa y obedeció su orden. Le pusieron comida y él comió.
21 And they said servants his to him what? [is] the thing this which you have done for sake of the child [was] alive you fasted and you wept and just when he died the child you arose and you ate food.
Entonces sus siervos le dijeron: ¿Por qué has estado actuando de esta manera? estabas llorando y sin comer mientras el niño aún vivía; pero cuando el niño murió, te levantaste y comiste.
22 And he said while still the child [was] alive I fasted and I wept for I said who? [is] knowing (and he will show favor to me *Q(K)*) Yahweh and he will live the child.
Y él dijo: Mientras el niño aún vivía, ayunaba y me entregué a llorar, porque dije: ¿Quién puede decir que el Señor no tendrá misericordia de mí y le dará vida al niño?
23 And now - he has died why? this [am] I fasting ¿ am I able to bring back him again I [am] going to him and he not he will return to me.
Pero ahora que el niño está muerto, no hay razón para que ayune; ¿Soy capaz de hacerlo volver a la vida? Iré a él, pero él nunca regresará a mí.
24 And he comforted David Bath-sheba wife his and he went into her and he lay with her and she bore a son (and she called *Q(K)*) name his Solomon and Yahweh he loved him.
Y David dio consuelo a su esposa Betsabé, y él entró y se acostó con ella; y ella tuvo un hijo a quien dio el nombre de Salomón. Y él fue querido por el Señor.
25 And he sent by [the] hand of Nathan the prophet and he called name his Jedidiah for sake of Yahweh.
Y envió una palabra de parte del profeta Natán, que le dio el nombre de Jedidías, por la palabra del Señor.
26 And he fought Joab against Rabbah of [the] people of Ammon and he captured [the] city of royalty.
Y Joab peleaba contra Raba, en la tierra de los hijos de Amón, y tomó la ciudad real.
27 And he sent Joab messengers to David and he said I have fought against Rabbah also I have captured [the] city of the waters.
Y Joab envió a los hombres a David, diciendo: He combatido contra Rabba y he tomado la ciudad que protegiera el abastecimiento de agua.
28 And therefore gather [the] rest of the people and encamp on the city and capture it lest I should take I the city and it will be called name my on it.
Entonces, reúna ahora su majestad al resto de la gente, colóquelos en posición contra el pueblo y tómelo, porque si lo tomo, se llamará así por mi nombre.
29 And he gathered David all the people and he went Rabbah towards and he fought against it and he captured it.
Entonces David juntó a toda la gente y fue a Rabá, la atacó y la capturó.
30 And he took [the] crown of king their from on head his and weight its [was] a talent of gold and a stone precious and it was on [the] head of David and [the] plunder of the city he brought out much very.
Y tomó la corona de Milcom de su cabeza; su peso era un talento de oro, y en él había piedras de gran precio; y se puso en la cabeza de David. Y se llevó una gran tienda de bienes del pueblo.
31 And the people which [was] in it he brought out and he set [them] at the saws and at [the] picks of iron and at [the] axes of iron and he caused to pass them (in the brick mold[s] *Q(K)*) and thus he did to all [the] cities of [the] people of Ammon and he returned David and all the people Jerusalem.
Luego sacó a la gente de la ciudad y la puso a trabajar con sierras, trituradoras de trigo, hachas y en los hornos de ladrillos. Esto lo hizo con todas las ciudades de los hijos de amón. Entonces David y todo el pueblo volvieron a Jerusalén.
