2 Samuel 12
1 And he sent Yahweh Nathan to David and he came to him and he said to him two men they were in a city one one [was] rich and one [was] poor.
Y envió Jehová a Natán a David: el cual viniendo a él, le dijo: Había dos hombres en una ciudad, el uno rico, y el otro pobre.
2 To [the] rich [man] it belonged flock[s] and herd[s] many very.
El rico tenía ovejas y vacas asaz:
3 And [belonged] to the poor [man] not anything that except a ewe-lamb one small which he had acquired and he nourished it and it grew up with him and with children his together from morsel his it ate and from cup his it drank and in bosom his it lay down and it was to him like a daughter.
Mas el pobre ninguna cosa tenía, sino una sola cordera, que había comprado, la cual él había criado, y había crecido con él y con sus hijos juntamente, comiendo de su bocado de pan, y bebiendo de su vaso, y durmiendo en su regazo: y teníala como a una hija.
4 And he came a traveler to [the] man rich and he spared to take one of own sheep his and one of own cattle his to prepare for the traveler who had come to him and he took [the] ewe-lamb of the man poor and he prepared it for the man who had come to him.
Y vino uno de camino al hombre rico: y él no quiso tomar de sus ovejas y de sus vacas, para guisar al caminante que le había venido: sino tomó la oveja de aquel hombre pobre, y aderezóla para el varón que le había venido.
5 And it burned [the] anger of David on the man exceedingly and he said to Nathan [by] [the] life of Yahweh for [is] a son of death the man who did this.
Entonces el furor se le encendió a David en gran manera contra aquel hombre, y dijo a Natán: Vive Jehová, que el que tal hizo es digno de muerte:
6 And the ewe-lamb he will restore fourfold consequence that he did the thing this and on that not he showed pity.
Y que él pagará la cordera con el cuatro tanto: porque hizo esta tal cosa, y no tuvo misericordia.
7 And he said Nathan to David you [are] the man thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel I I anointed you to king over Israel and I I delivered you from [the] hand of Saul.
Entonces Natán dijo a David: Tú eres aquel varón. Así dijo Jehová, Dios de Israel: Yo te ungí por rey sobre Israel, y te libré de la mano de Saul.
8 And I gave! to you [the] house of master your and [the] wives of master your in bosom your and I gave! to you [the] house of Israel and Judah and if little and I will add to you like those and like those.
Yo te di la casa de tu señor, y las mujeres de tu señor en tu seno; además de esto, te di la casa de Israel y de Judá. Y si esto es poco, yo te añadiré tales y tales cosas.
9 Why? have you despised - [the] word of Yahweh by doing the evil (in eyes my *Q(K)*) Uriah the Hittite you struck down with the sword and wife his you took for yourself to a wife and him you killed with [the] sword of [the] people of Ammon.
¿Por qué pues tuviste en poco la palabra de Jehová, haciendo lo malo delante de sus ojos? A Urías Jetteo heriste a cuchillo, y tomaste por tu mujer a su mujer, y a él mataste con la espada de los hijos de Ammón.
10 And therefore not it will depart [the] sword from house your until perpetuity consequence for you despised me and you took [the] wife of Uriah the Hittite to become of you a wife.
Por lo cual ahora no se apartará espada de tu casa perpetuamente, por cuanto me menospreciaste, y tomaste la mujer de Urías Jetteo, para que fuese tu mujer.
11 Thus - he says Yahweh here I [am] about to raise up on you calamity from own house your and I will take wives your to eyes your and I will give [them] to neighbor your and he will lie with wives your to [the] eyes of the sun this.
Así dijo Jehová: He aquí, yo despierto sobre ti mal de tu misma casa: y yo tomaré tus mujeres delante de tus ojos, y las daré a tu prójimo, el cual dormirá con tus mujeres en la presencia de este sol.
12 For you you acted in secret and I I will do the thing this before all Israel and before the sun.
Porque tú lo hiciste en secreto, mas yo haré esto delante de todo Israel, y delante del sol.
13 And he said David to Nathan I have sinned to Yahweh. And he said Nathan to David also Yahweh he has taken away sin your not you will die.
Entonces dijo David a Natán: Pequé a Jehová. Y Natán dijo a David: También Jehová ha trasportado tu pecado; no morirás.
14 Nevertheless for indeed you have declared contemptible [the] enemies of Yahweh by the thing this also the son born to you certainly he will die.
Mas por cuanto con este negocio hiciste blasfemar a los enemigos de Jehová, el hijo que te ha nacido muriendo morirá.
15 And he went Nathan to house his and he struck Yahweh the child whom she had borne [the] wife of Uriah to David and he was sick.
Y Natán se volvió a su casa. Y Jehová hirió al niño, que la mujer de Urías había parido a David, y enfermó gravemente.
16 And he sought David God for the lad and he fasted David a fast and he went and he passed [the] night and he lay (in the sackcloth *X*) [the] ground towards.
Y David rogó a Dios por el niño; y ayunó David ayuno, y vino, y pasó la noche acostado en tierra.
17 And they stood [the] elders of house his with him to raise him from the ground and not he was willing and not he ate with them food.
Y levantáronse los ancianos de su casa a él, para hacerle levantar de tierra, mas él no quiso, ni comió con ellos pan.
18 And it was on the day seventh and he died the child and they were afraid [the] servants of David to tell to him - that he had died the child for they said here! when was the child alive we spoke to him and not he listened to voice our and how? will we say to him he has died the child and he will do harm.
Y al séptimo día el niño murió; y sus siervos no osaban hacerle saber que el niño era muerto, diciendo entre sí: Cuando el niño aun vivía le hablábamos, y no quería oír nuestra voz; ¿pues cuánto más mal le hará si le dijéremos: el niño es muerto?
19 And he saw David that servants his [were] whispering to one another and he understood David that he had died the child and he said David to servants his ¿ has he died the child and they said he has died.
Mas David viendo a sus siervos hablar entre sí, entendió que el niño era muerto: y dijo David a sus siervos: ¿Es muerto el niño? Y ellos respondieron: Muerto es.
20 And he arose David from the ground and he bathed and he anointed himself and he changed (garments his *Q(K)*) and he went [the] house of Yahweh and he bowed down and he went to own house his and he asked and they set for him food and he ate.
Entonces David se levantó de tierra, y lavóse, y ungióse, y mudó sus ropas, y entró a la casa de Jehová, y adoró. Y después vino a su casa, y demandó, y pusiéronle pan, y comió.
21 And they said servants his to him what? [is] the thing this which you have done for sake of the child [was] alive you fasted and you wept and just when he died the child you arose and you ate food.
Y dijéronle sus siervos: ¿Qué es esto que has hecho? Por el niño viviendo aun, ayunabas y llorabas: ¿y él muerto, levantástete, y comiste pan?
22 And he said while still the child [was] alive I fasted and I wept for I said who? [is] knowing (and he will show favor to me *Q(K)*) Yahweh and he will live the child.
Y él respondió: Viviendo aun el niño, yo ayunaba y lloraba, diciendo: ¿Quién sabe, si Dios habrá compasión de mí, que viva el niño?
23 And now - he has died why? this [am] I fasting ¿ am I able to bring back him again I [am] going to him and he not he will return to me.
Mas ahora que ya es muerto, ¿para qué tengo de ayunar? ¿Podréle yo más volver? Yo voy a él, mas él no volverá a mí.
24 And he comforted David Bath-sheba wife his and he went into her and he lay with her and she bore a son (and she called *Q(K)*) name his Solomon and Yahweh he loved him.
Y consoló David a Bersabée su mujer, y entrando a ella durmió con ella, y parió un hijo, y llamó su nombre Salomón, al cual Jehová amó.
25 And he sent by [the] hand of Nathan the prophet and he called name his Jedidiah for sake of Yahweh.
Y envió por mano de Natán profeta, y llamó su nombre Jedidia, por Jehová.
26 And he fought Joab against Rabbah of [the] people of Ammon and he captured [the] city of royalty.
Y Joab peleaba contra Rabba de los hijos de Ammón, y tomó la ciudad real.
27 And he sent Joab messengers to David and he said I have fought against Rabbah also I have captured [the] city of the waters.
Y envió Joab mensajeros a David, diciendo: Yo he peleado contra Rabba, y he tomado la ciudad de las aguas.
28 And therefore gather [the] rest of the people and encamp on the city and capture it lest I should take I the city and it will be called name my on it.
Junta pues ahora el pueblo que queda, y asienta campo sobre la ciudad, y tómala, porque tomando yo la ciudad, no se llame de mi nombre.
29 And he gathered David all the people and he went Rabbah towards and he fought against it and he captured it.
Y juntando David todo el pueblo, fue contra Rabba, y combatióla, y la tomó.
30 And he took [the] crown of king their from on head his and weight its [was] a talent of gold and a stone precious and it was on [the] head of David and [the] plunder of the city he brought out much very.
Y tomó la corona de su rey de su cabeza, la cual pesaba un talento de oro: y había en ella piedras preciosas, y fue puesta sobre la cabeza de David: y trajo muy grande despojo de la ciudad.
31 And the people which [was] in it he brought out and he set [them] at the saws and at [the] picks of iron and at [the] axes of iron and he caused to pass them (in the brick mold[s] *Q(K)*) and thus he did to all [the] cities of [the] people of Ammon and he returned David and all the people Jerusalem.
Y sacó el pueblo que estaba en ella, y púsole debajo de sierras, y de trillos de hierro, de hachas de hierro, e hízolos pasar por hornos: y lo mismo hizo a todas las ciudades de los hijos de Ammón: y volvióse David con todo el pueblo a Jerusalem.
