2 Samuel 12
1 And he sent Yahweh Nathan to David and he came to him and he said to him two men they were in a city one one [was] rich and one [was] poor.
Και απέστειλεν ο Κύριος τον Νάθαν προς τον Δαβίδ. Και ήλθε προς αυτόν και είπε προς αυτόν, Ήσαν δύο άνδρες εν πόλει τινί, ο εις πλούσιος, ο δε άλλος πτωχός.
2 To [the] rich [man] it belonged flock[s] and herd[s] many very.
Ο πλούσιος είχε ποίμνια και βουκόλια πολλά σφόδρα·
3 And [belonged] to the poor [man] not anything that except a ewe-lamb one small which he had acquired and he nourished it and it grew up with him and with children his together from morsel his it ate and from cup his it drank and in bosom his it lay down and it was to him like a daughter.
ο δε πτωχός δεν είχεν άλλο, ειμή μίαν μικράν αμνάδα, την οποίαν ηγόρασε και έθρεψε· και εμεγάλωσε μετ' αυτού και μετά των τέκνων αυτού ομού· από του άρτου αυτού έτρωγε, και από του ποτηρίου αυτού έπινε, και εν τω κόλπω αυτού εκοιμάτο, και ήτο εις αυτόν ως θυγάτηρ.
4 And he came a traveler to [the] man rich and he spared to take one of own sheep his and one of own cattle his to prepare for the traveler who had come to him and he took [the] ewe-lamb of the man poor and he prepared it for the man who had come to him.
Ήλθε δε τις διαβάτης προς τον πλούσιον και εφειδωλεύθη να λάβη εκ των ποιμνίων αυτού και εκ των αγέλων αυτού, διά να ετοιμάση εις τον οδοιπόρον τον ελθόντα προς αυτόν, και έλαβε την αμνάδα του πτωχού και ητοίμασεν αυτήν διά τον άνθρωπον τον ελθόντα προς αυτόν.
5 And it burned [the] anger of David on the man exceedingly and he said to Nathan [by] [the] life of Yahweh for [is] a son of death the man who did this.
Και εξήφθη η οργή του Δαβίδ κατά του ανθρώπου σφόδρα· και είπε προς τον Νάθαν, Ζη Κύριος, άξιος θανάτου είναι ο άνθρωπος, όστις έπραξε τούτο·
6 And the ewe-lamb he will restore fourfold consequence that he did the thing this and on that not he showed pity.
και θέλει πληρώσει την αμνάδα τετραπλάσιον, επειδή έπραξε το πράγμα τούτο και επειδή δεν εσπλαγχνίσθη.
7 And he said Nathan to David you [are] the man thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel I I anointed you to king over Israel and I I delivered you from [the] hand of Saul.
Και είπεν ο Νάθαν προς τον Δαβίδ, Συ είσαι ο άνθρωπος· ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός του Ισραήλ· Εγώ σε έχρισα βασιλέα επί τον Ισραήλ, και εγώ σε ηλευθέρωσα εκ χειρός του Σαούλ·
8 And I gave! to you [the] house of master your and [the] wives of master your in bosom your and I gave! to you [the] house of Israel and Judah and if little and I will add to you like those and like those.
και έδωκα εις σε τον οίκον του κυρίου σου και τας γυναίκας του κυρίου σου εις τον κόλπον σου, και έδωκα εις σε τον οίκον του Ισραήλ και του Ιούδα· και εάν τούτο ήτο ολίγον, ήθελον προσθέσει εις σε τοιαύτα και τοιαύτα·
9 Why? have you despised - [the] word of Yahweh by doing the evil (in eyes my *Q(K)*) Uriah the Hittite you struck down with the sword and wife his you took for yourself to a wife and him you killed with [the] sword of [the] people of Ammon.
διά τι κατεφρόνησας τον λόγον του Κυρίου, ώστε να πράξης το κακόν εις τους οφθαλμούς αυτού; Ουρίαν τον Χετταίον επάταξας εν ρομφαία, και την γυναίκα αυτού έλαβες εις σεαυτόν γυναίκα, και αυτόν εθανάτωσας εν τη ρομφαία των υιών Αμμών·
10 And therefore not it will depart [the] sword from house your until perpetuity consequence for you despised me and you took [the] wife of Uriah the Hittite to become of you a wife.
τώρα λοιπόν δεν θέλει αποσυρθή ποτέ ρομφαία εκ του οίκου σου· επειδή με κατεφρόνησας και έλαβες την γυναίκα Ουρίου του Χετταίου, διά να ήναι γυνή σου.
11 Thus - he says Yahweh here I [am] about to raise up on you calamity from own house your and I will take wives your to eyes your and I will give [them] to neighbor your and he will lie with wives your to [the] eyes of the sun this.
Ούτω λέγει Κύριος· Ιδού, θέλω επεγείρει εναντίον σου κακά εκ του οίκου σου, και θέλω λάβει τας γυναίκάς σου έμπροσθεν των οφθαλμών σου και δώσει αυτάς εις τον πλησίον σου, και θέλει κοιμηθή μετά των γυναικών σου ενώπιον του ηλίου τούτου·
12 For you you acted in secret and I I will do the thing this before all Israel and before the sun.
διότι συ έπραξας κρυφίως· αλλ' εγώ θέλω κάμει τούτο το πράγμα έμπροσθεν παντός του Ισραήλ και κατέναντι του ηλίου.
13 And he said David to Nathan I have sinned to Yahweh. And he said Nathan to David also Yahweh he has taken away sin your not you will die.
Και είπεν ο Δαβίδ προς τον Νάθαν, Ημάρτησα εις τον Κύριον. Ο δε Νάθαν είπε προς τον Δαβίδ, Και ο Κύριος παρέβλεψε το αμάρτημά σου· δεν θέλεις αποθάνει·
14 Nevertheless for indeed you have declared contemptible [the] enemies of Yahweh by the thing this also the son born to you certainly he will die.
επειδή όμως διά ταύτης της πράξεως έδωκας μεγάλην αφορμήν εις τους εχθρούς του Κυρίου να βλασφημώσι, διά τούτο το παιδίον το γεννηθέν εις σε εξάπαντος θέλει αποθάνει.
15 And he went Nathan to house his and he struck Yahweh the child whom she had borne [the] wife of Uriah to David and he was sick.
Και απήλθεν ο Νάθαν εις τον οίκον αυτού. Ο δε Κύριος επάταξε το παιδίον, το οποίον εγέννησεν η γυνή του Ουρίου εις τον Δαβίδ, και ηρρώστησε.
16 And he sought David God for the lad and he fasted David a fast and he went and he passed [the] night and he lay (in the sackcloth *X*) [the] ground towards.
Και ικέτευσεν ο Δαβίδ τον Θεόν υπέρ του παιδίου· και ενήστευσεν ο Δαβίδ και εισελθών διενυκτέρευσε, κοιτόμενος κατά γης.
17 And they stood [the] elders of house his with him to raise him from the ground and not he was willing and not he ate with them food.
Και εσηκώθησαν οι πρεσβύτεροι του οίκου αυτού, και ήλθον προς αυτόν διά να σηκώσωσιν αυτόν από της γής· πλην δεν ηθέλησεν ουδέ έφαγεν άρτον μετ' αυτών.
18 And it was on the day seventh and he died the child and they were afraid [the] servants of David to tell to him - that he had died the child for they said here! when was the child alive we spoke to him and not he listened to voice our and how? will we say to him he has died the child and he will do harm.
Και την ημέραν την εβδόμην απέθανε το παιδίον. Και εφοβήθησαν οι δούλοι του Δαβίδ να αναγγείλωσι προς αυτόν ότι το παιδίον απέθανε· διότι έλεγον, Ιδού, ενώ έζη έτι το παιδίον, ελαλούμεν προς αυτόν, και δεν εισήκουε της φωνής ημών· πόσον λοιπόν κακόν θέλει κάμει, εάν είπωμεν προς αυτόν ότι το παιδίον απέθανεν;
19 And he saw David that servants his [were] whispering to one another and he understood David that he had died the child and he said David to servants his ¿ has he died the child and they said he has died.
Αλλ' ιδών ο Δαβίδ ότι οι δούλοι αυτού εψιθύριζον μετ' αλλήλων, ενόησεν ο Δαβίδ ότι το παιδίον απέθανεν· όθεν είπεν ο Δαβίδ προς τους δούλους αυτού, Απέθανε το παιδίον; οι δε είπον, Απέθανε.
20 And he arose David from the ground and he bathed and he anointed himself and he changed (garments his *Q(K)*) and he went [the] house of Yahweh and he bowed down and he went to own house his and he asked and they set for him food and he ate.
Τότε εσηκώθη ο Δαβίδ από της γης και ελούσθη και ηλείφθη και ήλλαξε τα ιμάτια αυτού, και εισήλθεν εις τον οίκον του Κυρίου, και προσεκύνησεν· έπειτα εισήλθεν εις τον οίκον αυτού· και εζήτησε να φάγη και έβαλον έμπροσθεν αυτού άρτον, και έφαγεν.
21 And they said servants his to him what? [is] the thing this which you have done for sake of the child [was] alive you fasted and you wept and just when he died the child you arose and you ate food.
Οι δε δούλοι αυτού είπον προς αυτόν, Τι είναι τούτο, το οποίον έκαμες; ενήστευες και έκλαιες περί του παιδίου, ενώ έζη· αφού δε απέθανε το παιδίον, εσηκώθης και έφαγες άρτον.
22 And he said while still the child [was] alive I fasted and I wept for I said who? [is] knowing (and he will show favor to me *Q(K)*) Yahweh and he will live the child.
Και είπεν, Ενώ έτι έζη το παιδίον, ενήστευσα και έκλαυσα, διότι είπα, Τις εξεύρει; ίσως ο Θεός με ελεήση, και ζήση το παιδίον·
23 And now - he has died why? this [am] I fasting ¿ am I able to bring back him again I [am] going to him and he not he will return to me.
αλλά τώρα απέθανε· διά τι να νηστεύω; μήπως δύναμαι να επιστρέψω αυτό πάλιν; εγώ θέλω υπάγει προς αυτό, αυτό όμως δεν θέλει αναστρέψει προς εμέ.
24 And he comforted David Bath-sheba wife his and he went into her and he lay with her and she bore a son (and she called *Q(K)*) name his Solomon and Yahweh he loved him.
Και παρηγόρησεν ο Δαβίδ την Βηθ-σαβεέ την γυναίκα αυτού, και εισήλθε προς αυτήν και εκοιμήθη μετ' αυτής, και εγέννησεν υιόν, και εκάλεσε το όνομα αυτού Σολομών· και ο Κύριος ηγάπησεν αυτόν.
25 And he sent by [the] hand of Nathan the prophet and he called name his Jedidiah for sake of Yahweh.
Και έστειλε διά χειρός Νάθαν του προφήτου, και εκάλεσε το όνομα αυτού Ιεδιδία, διά τον Κύριον.
26 And he fought Joab against Rabbah of [the] people of Ammon and he captured [the] city of royalty.
Ο δε Ιωάβ επολέμησεν εναντίον της Ραββά των υιών Αμμών, και εκυρίευσε την βασιλικήν πόλιν.
27 And he sent Joab messengers to David and he said I have fought against Rabbah also I have captured [the] city of the waters.
Και απέστειλεν ο Ιωάβ μηνυτάς προς τον Δαβίδ και είπεν, Επολέμησα εναντίον της Ραββά, μάλιστα εκυρίευσα την πόλιν των υδάτων·
28 And therefore gather [the] rest of the people and encamp on the city and capture it lest I should take I the city and it will be called name my on it.
τώρα λοιπόν σύναξον το επίλοιπον του λαού, και στρατοπέδευσον εναντίον της πόλεως και κυρίευσον αυτήν, διά να μη κυριεύσω εγώ την πόλιν, και ονομασθή το όνομά μου επ' αυτήν.
29 And he gathered David all the people and he went Rabbah towards and he fought against it and he captured it.
Και συνήθροισεν ο Δαβίδ πάντα τον λαόν, και υπήγεν εις Ραββά και επολέμησεν εναντίον αυτής και εκυρίευσεν αυτήν·
30 And he took [the] crown of king their from on head his and weight its [was] a talent of gold and a stone precious and it was on [the] head of David and [the] plunder of the city he brought out much very.
και έλαβε τον στέφανον του βασιλέως αυτών από της κεφαλής αυτού, το βάρος του οποίου ήτο εν τάλαντον χρυσίου με λίθους πολυτίμους· και ετέθη επί της κεφαλής του Δαβίδ· και λάφυρα της πόλεως εξέφερε πολλά σφόδρα·
31 And the people which [was] in it he brought out and he set [them] at the saws and at [the] picks of iron and at [the] axes of iron and he caused to pass them (in the brick mold[s] *Q(K)*) and thus he did to all [the] cities of [the] people of Ammon and he returned David and all the people Jerusalem.
και τον λαόν τον εν αυτή εξήγαγε και έβαλεν υπό πρίονας και υπό τριβόλους σιδηρούς και υπό πελέκεις σιδηρούς, και επέρασεν αυτούς διά της καμίνου των πλίνθων. Και ούτως έκαμεν εις πάσας τας πόλεις των υιών Αμμών. Τότε επέστρεψεν ο Δαβίδ και πας ο λαός εις Ιερουσαλήμ.
