1 And it was after thus and he died [the] king of [the] people of Ammon and he reigned Hanun son his in place his.

2 And he said David I will do covenant loyalty - with Hanun [the] son of Nahash just as he did father his with me covenant loyalty and he sent David to comfort him by [the] hand of servants his concerning father his and they came [the] servants of David [the] land of [the] people of Ammon.
Hichun David’in jong aseiyin, “Nahash chapa Hanun hi apan keima jana neitah a eina bol bang banga ken jong amahi jana neitah a kabol ding ahi,” tin anaseiye. 3 And they said [the] leaders of [the] people of Ammon to Hanun lord their ¿ honoring [is] David father your in view your for he has sent to you comforters ¿ not in order to explore the city and to spy on it and to overthrow it has he sent David servants his to you.
Ammon mite lamkai hon apupau Hanun koma chun aseiyuvin, ‘Nangman nagelthei mong hinam hiche mihohi napa jabol dinga hichemun hung ahi tia? Ahipoi! David’in khopi hi hunga suhgam ding agot jeh a sottolle hohi khopi sung kholtoh leh velhi le dinga ahinsol ahibouve tin aseipeh tauve.
4 And he took Hanun [the] servants of David and he shaved half of beard their and he cut off robes their at the middle to buttocks their and he sent away them.
Hijeh chun Hanun hin David sottolle ho chu abonchauvin aman in melse tah in akhamul akeh langkhat avo chaipeh soh keiyin, chule aponsilu le akivon nau akimlai tah akongbuh dontah achetan peh soh keijun jachat umtah in anungsol taovin ahi.
5 And people told to David and he sent to meet them for they were the men humiliated very and he said the king remain at Jericho until it will grow back beard your and you will return.

6 And they saw [the] people of Ammon that they had made themselves odious with David and they sent [the] people of Ammon and they hired Aram Beth Rehob and Aram Zobah twenty thousand foot soldier[s] and [the] king of Maacah one thousand man and [the] man of Tob two [plus] ten thousand man.

7 And he heard David and he sent Joab and all the army the warriors.
Hiche thusoh David lengpan ajah doh phat’in lamkai Joab le asepaite mihat chengse chu abonchauvin gal boldin asoltai.
8 And they went out [the] people of Ammon and they deployed battle [the] entrance of the gate and Aram Zobah and Rehob and [the] man of Tob and Maacah to alone them [were] in the open country.
Chuin Ammon mite chu ahung kitoldoh’uvin kelkot phunga chun galsat din akigol tauve; chule Arameans mite Zobah le Rehob khoa kon leh Tob le Maacah mite chu mun onglen laiah akigol taovin ahi.
9 And he saw Joab that it was against him [the] face of the battle from before and from behind and he chose some of all [the] chosen [men] (of Israel *Q(K)*) and he deployed [them] to meet Aram.
Joab chun amasanglam le anunglama gal miten ating tan to tai, ti amudoh phat’in, Israel lah a mi son um lhentum cheh phabep alhengdoh in, Arameans mite dou din mun onglai ah apansah tai.
10 And [the] rest of the people he put in [the] hand of Abishai brother his and he deployed [them] to meet [the] people of Ammon.
Chule mi amoh chengse chu asopipa Abishai lamkai peh din akoiyin, Abishaiyin asopite chengse chu Ammon mite toh kisat to din agol toh tai.
11 And he said if it will be [too] strong Aram for me and you will become of me deliverance and if [the] people of Ammon they will be [too] strong for you and I will come to deliver you.
Chuin Joab’in aseitai, “Arameans mite hi Keima dinga ahat behseh jenguva ahileh nangman neihung kithopin lang, chule Ammon mite chu nang dinga ahatval behseh jenguva ahijongle keima hung ing ting nahung kithopi nange, ati.
12 Be strong so we may show ourselves strong for people our and for [the] cities of God our and Yahweh he will do the good in view his.
Hijeh chun hangtah in hung pang uvin lang, imiteu ding leh i-Pathen’u khopi jouse din pasal jouse chu hatah in pangu hitin; chule Pakaiyin lungdei chu guilhung tahen,”ati.
13 And he drew near Joab and the people which [was] with him for battle in Aram and they fled from before him.
Hiti hin Joab le ama toh pang khom sepaiho chun Arameans mite chu asat pan un ahileh; Arameans mite chu ajamcheh gam tauvin ahi.
14 And [the] people of Ammon they saw that it had fled Aram and they fled from before Abishai and they went the city and he returned Joab from on [the] people of Ammon and he came Jerusalem.
Arameans mite jam chu Ammon miten jong amudoh phat’uvin amaho jong chutobangma chun Abishai masanga ajam uvin akhopi sunga alhailut tauvin ahi. Hichun Ammon mite toh akisat nao vakon in Jo’ab jong Jerusalema ahung kile kit tan ahi.
15 And it saw Aram that it was defeated before Israel and they gathered themselves together.
Hichun Arameans miten Israel chate toh kidinte joulou ding ahiu chu ahin kihetdoh phat un ahung kithah gopkhom kit uvin,
16 And he sent Hadadezer and he brought out Aram which [was] from [the] other side of the River and they came Helam and Shobach [the] commander of [the] army of Hadadezer [was] before them.
Hadadezer kitipan asol in Euphrates luipi gal a cheng Arameans mite aga kousah in ahileh, amaho jong Hadadezer sepai lamkaipa Shobach lamkai nan Helam geiyin ahung kitol’uvin Arameans mite ahinjop kit un ahi.
17 And it was told to David. And he gathered all Israel and he passed over the Jordan and he came Helam towards and they deployed Aram to meet David and they did battle with him.
Chuin David in hitabang thil umchan chu ajah phat in, aman jong Israel chate pumpi akhom khom soh keiyin chule Jordan ahung galkaiyin Helam channah a sepai te ahin puilhung tan ahi. Hichun Arameans mite jong David lengpa dou din achamtah un anapang uvin akisatpi tauve.
18 And it fled Aram from before Israel and he killed David of Aram seven hundred charioteer[s] and forty thousand horsemen and Shobach [the] commander of army its he struck down and he died there.
Ahinlah Arameans mite chu Israel te masanga ajam kit tauvin ahi. hichea hin David sepai ten Arameans sepai sakol them ho mi jasagi le tol'a pang sepai sangsomli chule agal lamkaipau Shobach kitipa jaonan athat taovin ahi.
19 And they saw all the kings [the] servants of Hadadezer that they were defeated before Israel and they made peace with Israel and they served them and they were afraid Aram to deliver again [the] people of Ammon.
Chuin Lengte jousen Hadadezer toh akitho vang uva Israel te ajolou u amudoh phat un, Israel mite khut ah akipelut un amaho noijah aum taovin ahi. hichejou a pet chun Arameans mite chun Ammon mite kithopi ding chu akicha taovin ahi.
