2 Kings 6
1 And they said [the] sons of the prophets to Elisha here! please the place where we [are] dwelling there before you it is [too] cramped for us.
Entonces los hijos de los profetas le dijeron a Eliseo: “Mira, el lugar donde nos reunimos contigo es demasiado pequeño para nosotros.
2 Let us go please to the Jordan and let us take from there each a beam one and let us make for ourselves there a place to dwell there and he said go.
Vayamos mejor al Jordán. Cada uno de nosotros puede llevar un tronco de vuelta, y podemos construir allí un nuevo lugar para reunirnos”. “Adelante”, dijo Eliseo.
3 And he said the one be willing please and go with servants your and he said I I will go.
Uno de ellos pidió: “Por favor, ven con tus sirvientes”. “Iré”, respondió él.
4 And he went with them and they came the Jordan towards and they cut down trees.
Así que fue con ellos. Cuando llegaron al Jordán, comenzaron a cortar árboles.
5 And it was the one [was] making fall the beam and the iron it fell into the water and he cried out and he said alas! O lord my and it [was] asked.
Pero cuando uno de ellos estaba cortando un árbol, la cabeza del hacha de hierro cayó en el agua. “¡Oh, no! ¡Mi amo, esta era un hacha que me habían prestado!”, gritó.
6 And he said [the] man of God where? did it fall and he showed him the place and he cut off a piece of wood and he threw [it] there towards and he caused to float the iron.
“¿Dónde se ha caído?”, preguntó el hombre de Dios. Y cuando le mostró el lugar, el hombre de Dios cortó un palo, lo arrojó allí y la cabeza del hacha, que era de hierro, apareció flotando.
7 And he said lift [it] yourself and he stretched out hand his and he took it.
“Ve y recógela”, le dijo Eliseo al hombre. Entonces éste extendió la mano y la recogió.
8 And [the] king of Aram he was fighting against Israel and he consulted servants his saying [will be] to a place of a certain one a certain one encampments my.
También aconteció que el rey arameo estaba en guerra con Israel. Después de consultar con sus oficiales, dijo: “Estableceré mi campamento en este lugar”.
9 And he sent [the] man of God to [the] king of Israel saying take care from passing by the place this for there Aram [is] descending.
Entonces el hombre de Dios envió una advertencia al rey de Israel: “Ten cuidado si te acercas a este lugar, porque los arameos van a estar allí”.
10 And he sent [the] king of Israel to the place which he had spoken to him [the] man of God (and he warned him *Q(K)*) and he took care there not one [time] and not two [times].
Así que el rey de Israel envió una advertencia al lugar que el hombre de Dios había indicado. Eliseo advirtió repetidamente al rey, para que estuviera alerta en esos lugares.
11 And it was enraged [the] heart of [the] king of Aram on the matter this and he called to servants his and he said to them ¿ not will you tell to me who? from [those] who [belong] to us [is] to [the] king of Israel.
Esto hizo enojar mucho al rey arameo. Convocó a sus oficiales, exigiendo una respuesta: “Díganme, ¿quién de nosotros está del lado del rey de Israel?”
12 And he said one from servants his no O lord my the king for Elisha the prophet who [is] in Israel he tells to [the] king of Israel the words which you speak in [the] chamber of lying down your.
“No es ninguno de nosotros, mi señor el rey”, respondió uno de sus oficiales. “Es Eliseo, el profeta que vive en Israel; él le dice al rey de Israel hasta lo que tú dices en tu habitación”.
13 And he said go and see where? [is] he so I may send so I may capture him and it was told to him saying there! in Dothan.
Así que el rey dio la orden: “Ve y averigua dónde está para que pueda enviar soldados a capturarlo”. Ellos le dijeron: “Eliseo está en Dotán”.
14 And he sent there towards horses and chariotry and an army massive and they came night and they surrounded the city.
Así que envió caballos, carros y un gran ejército. Llegaron de noche y rodearon la ciudad.
15 And he rose early [the] servant of [the] man of God to arise and he went out and there! an army [was] surrounding the city and horse[s] and chariotry and he said servant his to him alas! O lord my how? will we do.
Por la mañana, cuando el siervo del hombre de Dios se levantó, salió y vio que un ejército con caballos y carros había rodeado la ciudad. “Señor mío, ¿qué vamos a hacer?”, le preguntó a Eliseo.
16 And he said may not you be afraid for [are] many [those] who [are] with us more than [those] who [are] them.
Eliseo le contestó: “¡No tengas miedo, porque son muchos más los que están con nosotros que los que están con ellos!”
17 And he prayed Elisha and he said O Yahweh open please eyes his so he may see and he opened Yahweh [the] eyes of the servant and he saw and there! the hill it was full horses and chariotry of fire around Elisha.
Eliseo oró diciendo: “Señor, por favor abre sus ojos para que pueda ver”. El Señor abrió los ojos del siervo, y cuando miró vio las colinas llenas de caballos y carros de fuego alrededor de Eliseo.
18 And they came down to him and he prayed Elisha to Yahweh and he said strike please the nation this with sudden blindness and he struck them with sudden blindness according to [the] word of Elisha.
Mientras el ejército descendió sobre él, Eliseo rogó al Señor: “Por favor, hiere a esta gente con ceguera”. Así que los golpeó con ceguera, como Eliseo había pedido.
19 And he said to them Elisha not this [is] the way and not this [is] the city come after me so let me lead you to the man whom you seek! and he led them Samaria towards.
Entonces Eliseo fue y les dijo: “Este no es el camino correcto, y este no es el pueblo correcto. Síganme, y los llevaré hasta el hombre que buscan”. Los condujo a Samaria.
20 And it was when came they Samaria and he said Elisha O Yahweh open [the] eyes of these [men] so they may see and he opened Yahweh eyes their and they saw and there! [they were] in [the] midst of Samaria.
Cuando entraron en Samaria, Eliseo oró: “Señor, abre los ojos de estos hombres para que puedan ver”. El Señor les abrió los ojos, y ellos miraron a su alrededor y vieron que estaban en Samaria.
21 And he said [the] king of Israel to Elisha when saw he them ¿ will I strike [them] down will I strike [them] down? O father my.
Cuando el rey de Israel los vio, le preguntó a Eliseo: “Padre mío, ¿los mato? ¿Debo matarlos?”
22 And he said not you must strike [them] down ¿ [those] whom you have taken captive by sword your and by bow your [are] you about to strike down put food and water before them so they may eat and they may drink and they may go to master their.
“¡No, no los mates!”, respondió. “¿Matarías a los prisioneros que capturaras con tu propia espada o arco? Dales comida y agua para que coman y beban, y luego deja que vuelvan con su amo”.
23 And he gave a feast for them a feast great and they ate and they drank and he let go them and they went to master their and not they repeated again [the] marauding bands of Aram to come in [the] land of Israel.
Así que el rey mandó preparar un gran banquete para ellos, y una vez que terminaron de comer y beber, los envió de vuelta con su amo. Los invasores arameos no volvieron a entrar en la tierra de Israel.
24 And it was after thus and he gathered Ben Hadad [the] king of Aram all army his and he went up and he laid siege on Samaria.
Algún tiempo después de esto, Ben Adad, rey de Harán, convocó a todo su ejército y fue a sitiar Samaria.
25 And it was a famine great in Samaria and there! [they were] laying siege on it until was [the] head of a donkey for eighty silver and [the] fourth part of the kab (quano *Q(K)*) for five silver.

26 And he was [the] king of Israel passing by on the wall and a woman she cried out to him saying save! O lord my the king.

27 And he said may not he save you Yahweh from where? will I save you ¿ from the threshing floor or? from the wine-press.
“Si el Señor no te ayuda, ¿por qué crees que yo puedo ayudarte?”, respondió el rey. “No tengo grano de la era, ni vino del lagar”.
28 And he said to her the king what? [is] to you and she said the woman this she said to me give son your so we may eat him this day and son my we will eat tomorrow.
Pero entonces le preguntó: “¿Cuál es el problema?” “Cierta mujer me dijo: ‘Entrega a tu hijo y lo comeremos hoy, y mañana nos comeremos a mi hijo’”, respondió ella.
29 And we cooked son my and we ate him and I said to her on the day other give son your so we may eat him and she had hidden son her.
“Así que cocinamos a mi hijo y nos lo comimos. Al día siguiente le dije: ‘Entrega a tu hijo para que nos lo comamos’, pero ella escondió a su hijo”.
30 And it was when heard the king [the] words of the woman and he tore clothes his and he [was] passing by on the wall and it saw the people and there! sackcloth [was] on flesh his from inside.
Cuando el rey oyó lo que decía la mujer, se rasgó las vestiduras. Al pasar por la muralla, la gente vio que llevaba un sayo debajo de la ropa junto a su piel.
31 And he said thus may he do to me God and thus may he add if it will remain standing [the] head of Elisha [the] son of Shaphat on him this day.
“¡Que Dios me castigue muy severamente si la cabeza de Eliseo, hijo de Safat, queda hoy sobre sus hombros!”, declaró.
32 And Elisha [was] sitting in house his and the elders [were] sitting with him and he sent a man from to before him before he came the messenger to him and he - he said to the elders ¿ do you see that he has sent [the] son of the murderer this to remove head my look - when comes the messenger shut the door and you will push him with the door ¿ not [is] [the] sound of [the] feet of master his after him.
Eliseo estaba sentado en su casa con los ancianos. El rey había enviado un mensajero por delante, pero antes de que llegara, Eliseo dijo a los ancianos: “¿Ven cómo este asesino envía a alguien a cortarme la cabeza? 33 Still he [was] speaking with them and there! the messenger [was] coming down to him and he said here! this the calamity [is] from with Yahweh why? will I wait for Yahweh still.
Mientras Eliseo seguía hablando con ellos, llegó el mensajero. El rey dijo: “Este desastre viene del Señor. ¿Por qué debo esperar más al Señor?”
