2 Kings 6
1 And they said [the] sons of the prophets to Elisha here! please the place where we [are] dwelling there before you it is [too] cramped for us.
I figli dei profeti dissero a Eliseo: «Ecco, il luogo in cui ci raduniamo alla tua presenza è troppo stretto per noi.
2 Let us go please to the Jordan and let us take from there each a beam one and let us make for ourselves there a place to dwell there and he said go.
Andiamo fino al Giordano; là prenderemo una trave per ciascuno e ci costruiremo una residenza». Quegli rispose: «Andate!».
3 And he said the one be willing please and go with servants your and he said I I will go.
Uno disse: «Degnati di venire anche tu con i tuoi servi». Egli rispose: «Ci verrò».
4 And he went with them and they came the Jordan towards and they cut down trees.
E andò con loro. Giunti al Giordano, tagliarono alcuni alberi.
5 And it was the one [was] making fall the beam and the iron it fell into the water and he cried out and he said alas! O lord my and it [was] asked.
Ora, mentre uno abbatteva un tronco, il ferro dell'ascia gli cadde in acqua. Egli gridò: «Oh, mio signore! Era stato preso in prestito!».
6 And he said [the] man of God where? did it fall and he showed him the place and he cut off a piece of wood and he threw [it] there towards and he caused to float the iron.
L'uomo di Dio domandò: «Dove è caduto?». Gli mostrò il posto. Eliseo, allora, tagliò un legno e lo gettò in quel punto e il ferro venne a galla.
7 And he said lift [it] yourself and he stretched out hand his and he took it.
Disse: «Prendilo!». Quegli stese la mano e lo prese.
8 And [the] king of Aram he was fighting against Israel and he consulted servants his saying [will be] to a place of a certain one a certain one encampments my.
Mentre il re di Aram era in guerra contro Israele, in un consiglio con i suoi ufficiali disse: «In quel tal posto sarà il mio accampamento».
9 And he sent [the] man of God to [the] king of Israel saying take care from passing by the place this for there Aram [is] descending.
L'uomo di Dio mandò a dire al re di Israele: «Guardati dal passare per quel punto, perché là stanno scendendo gli Aramei».
10 And he sent [the] king of Israel to the place which he had spoken to him [the] man of God (and he warned him *Q(K)*) and he took care there not one [time] and not two [times].
Il re di Israele mandò a esplorare il punto indicatogli dall'uomo di Dio. Questi l'avvertiva e il re si metteva in guardia; ciò accadde non una volta o due soltanto.
11 And it was enraged [the] heart of [the] king of Aram on the matter this and he called to servants his and he said to them ¿ not will you tell to me who? from [those] who [belong] to us [is] to [the] king of Israel.
Molto turbato in cuor suo per questo fatto, il re di Aram convocò i suoi ufficiali e disse loro: «Non mi potreste indicare chi dei nostri è per il re di Israele?».
12 And he said one from servants his no O lord my the king for Elisha the prophet who [is] in Israel he tells to [the] king of Israel the words which you speak in [the] chamber of lying down your.
Uno degli ufficiali rispose: «No, re mio signore, perché Eliseo profeta di Israele riferisce al re di Israele quanto tu dici nella tua camera da letto».
13 And he said go and see where? [is] he so I may send so I may capture him and it was told to him saying there! in Dothan.
Quegli disse: «Andate, informatevi dove sia costui; io manderò a prenderlo». Gli fu riferito: «Ecco, sta in Dotan».
14 And he sent there towards horses and chariotry and an army massive and they came night and they surrounded the city.
Egli mandò là cavalli, carri e un bel numero di soldati; vi giunsero di notte e circondarono la città.
15 And he rose early [the] servant of [the] man of God to arise and he went out and there! an army [was] surrounding the city and horse[s] and chariotry and he said servant his to him alas! O lord my how? will we do.
Il giorno dopo, l'uomo di Dio, alzatosi di buon mattino, uscì. Ecco, un esercito circondava la città con cavalli e carri. Il suo servo disse: «Ohimè, mio signore, come faremo?».
16 And he said may not you be afraid for [are] many [those] who [are] with us more than [those] who [are] them.
Quegli rispose: «Non temere, perché i nostri sono più numerosi dei loro».
17 And he prayed Elisha and he said O Yahweh open please eyes his so he may see and he opened Yahweh [the] eyes of the servant and he saw and there! the hill it was full horses and chariotry of fire around Elisha.
Eliseo pregò così: «Signore, apri i suoi occhi; egli veda». Il Signore aprì gli occhi del servo, che vide. Ecco, il monte era pieno di cavalli e di carri di fuoco intorno a Eliseo.
18 And they came down to him and he prayed Elisha to Yahweh and he said strike please the nation this with sudden blindness and he struck them with sudden blindness according to [the] word of Elisha.
Poiché gli Aramei scendevano verso di lui, Eliseo pregò il Signore: «Oh, colpisci questa gente di cecità!». E il Signore li colpì di cecità secondo la parola di Eliseo.
19 And he said to them Elisha not this [is] the way and not this [is] the city come after me so let me lead you to the man whom you seek! and he led them Samaria towards.
Disse loro Eliseo: «Non è questa la strada e non è questa la città. Seguitemi e io vi condurrò dall'uomo che cercate». Egli li condusse in Samaria.
20 And it was when came they Samaria and he said Elisha O Yahweh open [the] eyes of these [men] so they may see and he opened Yahweh eyes their and they saw and there! [they were] in [the] midst of Samaria.
Quando giunsero in Samaria, Eliseo disse: «Signore, apri i loro occhi; essi vedano!». Il Signore aprì i loro occhi ed essi videro. Erano in mezzo a Samaria!
21 And he said [the] king of Israel to Elisha when saw he them ¿ will I strike [them] down will I strike [them] down? O father my.
Il re di Israele quando li vide, disse a Eliseo: «Li devo uccidere, padre mio?».
22 And he said not you must strike [them] down ¿ [those] whom you have taken captive by sword your and by bow your [are] you about to strike down put food and water before them so they may eat and they may drink and they may go to master their.
Quegli rispose: «Non ucciderli. Forse uccidi uno che hai fatto prigioniero con la spada e con l'arco? Piuttosto metti davanti a loro pane e acqua; mangino e bevano, poi se ne vadano dal loro padrone».
23 And he gave a feast for them a feast great and they ate and they drank and he let go them and they went to master their and not they repeated again [the] marauding bands of Aram to come in [the] land of Israel.
Fu imbandito loro un gran banchetto. Dopo che ebbero mangiato e bevuto, li congedò ed essi se ne andarono dal loro padrone. Le bande aramee non penetrarono più nel paese di Israele.
24 And it was after thus and he gathered Ben Hadad [the] king of Aram all army his and he went up and he laid siege on Samaria.
Dopo tali cose Ben-Hadàd, re di Aram, radunò tutto il suo esercito e venne ad assediare Samaria.
25 And it was a famine great in Samaria and there! [they were] laying siege on it until was [the] head of a donkey for eighty silver and [the] fourth part of the kab (quano *Q(K)*) for five silver.
Ci fu una carestia eccezionale in Samaria, mentre l'assedio si faceva più duro, tanto che una testa d'asino si vendeva ottanta sicli d'argento e un quarto di qab di tuberi cinque sicli.
26 And he was [the] king of Israel passing by on the wall and a woman she cried out to him saying save! O lord my the king.
Mentre il re di Israele passava sulle mura, una donna gli gridò contro: «Aiuto, mio signore re!».
27 And he said may not he save you Yahweh from where? will I save you ¿ from the threshing floor or? from the wine-press.
Rispose: «Non ti aiuta neppure il Signore! Come potrei aiutarti io? Forse con il prodotto dell'aia o con quello del torchio?».
28 And he said to her the king what? [is] to you and she said the woman this she said to me give son your so we may eat him this day and son my we will eat tomorrow.
Il re aggiunse: «Che hai?». Quella rispose: «Questa donna mi ha detto: Dammi tuo figlio; mangiamocelo oggi. Mio figlio ce lo mangeremo domani.
29 And we cooked son my and we ate him and I said to her on the day other give son your so we may eat him and she had hidden son her.
Abbiamo cotto mio figlio e ce lo siamo mangiato. Il giorno dopo io le ho detto: Dammi tuo figlio; mangiamocelo, ma essa ha nascosto suo figlio».
30 And it was when heard the king [the] words of the woman and he tore clothes his and he [was] passing by on the wall and it saw the people and there! sackcloth [was] on flesh his from inside.
Quando udì le parole della donna, il re si stracciò le vesti. Mentre egli passava sulle mura, lo vide il popolo; ecco, aveva un sacco di sotto, sulla carne.
31 And he said thus may he do to me God and thus may he add if it will remain standing [the] head of Elisha [the] son of Shaphat on him this day.
Egli disse: «Dio mi faccia questo e anche di peggio, se oggi la testa di Eliseo, figlio di Safat, resterà sulle sue spalle».
32 And Elisha [was] sitting in house his and the elders [were] sitting with him and he sent a man from to before him before he came the messenger to him and he - he said to the elders ¿ do you see that he has sent [the] son of the murderer this to remove head my look - when comes the messenger shut the door and you will push him with the door ¿ not [is] [the] sound of [the] feet of master his after him.
Eliseo stava seduto in casa; con lui sedevano gli anziani. Il re si fece precedere da un uomo. Prima che arrivasse il messaggero, quegli disse agli anziani: «Avete visto? Quel figlio di assassino ordina che mi si tolga la vita. Fate attenzione! Quando arriva il messaggero, chiudete la porta; tenetelo fermo sulla porta. Forse dietro non si sente il rumore dei piedi del suo padrone?».
33 Still he [was] speaking with them and there! the messenger [was] coming down to him and he said here! this the calamity [is] from with Yahweh why? will I wait for Yahweh still.
Stava ancora parlando con loro, quando il re scese da lui e gli disse: «Tu vedi quanto male ci viene dal Signore; che aspetterò più io dal Signore?».
