< 2 Kings 25 >
1 And it was in [the] year ninth of reigning his in the month tenth on the ten of the month he came Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon he and all army his on Jerusalem and he encamped on it and they built on it a siege-wall all around.
Maka pada tahun kesembilan dari pemerintahannya, dalam bulan yang kesepuluh, pada tanggal sepuluh bulan itu, datanglah Nebukadnezar, raja Babel, dengan segala tentaranya menyerang Yerusalem. Ia berkemah mengepungnya dan mendirikan tembok pengepungan sekelilingnya.
2 And it came the city in state of siege until one [plus] ten year of the king Zedekiah.
Demikianlah kota itu terkepung sampai tahun yang kesebelas zaman raja Zedekia.
3 (In the month fourth *X*) on [day] nine of the month and it was severe the famine in the city and not it belonged food to [the] people of the land.
Pada tanggal sembilan bulan yang keempat, ketika kelaparan sudah merajalela di kota itu dan tidak ada lagi makanan pada rakyat negeri itu,
4 And it was broken into the city and all [the] men of war - this night [the] way of [the] gate - between the two walls which [was] at [the] garden of the king and [the] Chaldeans [were] on the city all around and he went [the] direction of the Arabah.
maka dibelah oranglah tembok kota itu dan semua tentara melarikan diri malam-malam melalui pintu gerbang antara kedua tembok yang ada di dekat taman raja, sekalipun orang Kasdim mengepung kota itu sekeliling. Mereka lari menuju ke Araba-Yordan.
5 And they pursued [the] army of [the] Chaldeans after the king and they overtook him in [the] plains of Jericho and all army his they were scattered from with him.
Tetapi tentara Kasdim mengejar raja dari belakang dan mencapai dia di dataran Yerikho; segala tentaranya telah berserak-serak meninggalkan dia.
6 And they seized the king and they brought up him to [the] king of Babylon Riblah towards and they spoke with him judgment.
Mereka menangkap raja dan membawa dia kepada raja Babel di Ribla, yang menjatuhkan hukuman atas dia.
7 And [the] sons of Zedekiah they slaughtered to eyes his and [the] eyes of Zedekiah he made blind and he bound him with bronze fetters and he brought him Babylon.
Orang menyembelih anak-anak Zedekia di depan matanya, kemudian dibutakannyalah mata Zedekia, lalu dia dibelenggu dengan rantai tembaga dan dibawa ke Babel.
8 And in the month fifth on [day] seven of the month it [was] year nine-teen year of the king Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon he came Nebuzaradan [the] chief of [the] bodyguards [the] servant of [the] king of Babylon Jerusalem.
Dalam bulan yang kelima pada tanggal tujuh bulan itu--itulah tahun kesembilan belas zaman raja Nebukadnezar, raja Babel--datanglah Nebuzaradan, kepala pasukan pengawal, pegawai raja Babel, ke Yerusalem.
9 And he burned [the] house of Yahweh and [the] house of the king and all [the] houses of Jerusalem and every house of a great [person] he burned with fire.
Ia membakar rumah TUHAN, rumah raja dan semua rumah di Yerusalem; semua rumah orang-orang besar dibakarnya dengan api.
10 And [the] walls of Jerusalem all around they broke down all [the] army of [the] Chaldeans who [was the] chief of [the] bodyguards.
Tembok sekeliling kota Yerusalem dirobohkan oleh semua tentara Kasdim yang ada bersama-sama dengan kepala pasukan pengawal itu.
11 And [the] rest of the people which remained in the city and those [who] fell who they fell on the king of Babylon and [the] rest of the multitude he took into exile Nebuzaradan [the] chief of [the] bodyguards.
Sisa-sisa rakyat yang masih tinggal di kota itu dan para pembelot yang menyeberang ke pihak raja Babel dan sisa-sisa khalayak ramai diangkut ke dalam pembuangan oleh Nebuzaradan, kepala pasukan pengawal itu.
12 And some of [the] poor people of the land he left behind [the] chief of [the] bodyguards to vinedressers and to ploughmen.
Hanya beberapa orang miskin dari negeri itu ditinggalkan oleh kepala pasukan pengawal itu untuk menjadi tukang-tukang kebun anggur dan peladang-peladang.
13 And [the] pillars of bronze which [were] [the] house of Yahweh and the stands and [the] sea of bronze which [was] in [the] house of Yahweh they broke [the] Chaldeans and they carried bronze their Babylon towards.
Juga tiang-tiang tembaga yang ada di rumah TUHAN dan kereta penopang dan "laut" tembaga yang ada di rumah TUHAN dipecahkan oleh orang Kasdim dan tembaganya diangkut mereka ke Babel.
14 And the pots and the shovels and the snuffers and the pans and all [the] articles of bronze which people served with them they took.
Kuali-kuali, penyodok-penyodok, pisau-pisau dan cawan-cawan dan segala perkakas tembaga yang dipakai untuk menyelenggarakan kebaktian, diambil mereka,
15 And the fire-pans and the bowls which [were] gold gold and which [were] silver silver he took [the] chief of [the] bodyguards.
juga perbaraan-perbaraan dan bokor-bokor penyiraman, baik segala yang dari emas maupun segala yang dari perak, diambil oleh kepala pasukan pengawal itu.
16 The pillars - two the sea one and the stands which he had made Solomon for [the] house of Yahweh not it belonged weight to [the] bronze of all the articles these.
Adapun kedua tiang, "laut" yang satu itu, kereta penopang yang dibuat oleh Salomo untuk rumah TUHAN, tiada tertimbang tembaga segala perkakas ini.
17 [was] eight-Teen cubit[s] [the] height of - the pillar one and a capital [was] on it - bronze and [the] height of the capital [was] three (cubits *Q(K)*) and a network and pomegranates [were] on the capital all around everything [was] bronze and like these [things] [belonged] to the pillar second with the network.
Delapan belas hasta tingginya tiang yang satu, dan di atasnya ada ganja dari tembaga; tinggi ganja itu tiga hasta dan jala-jala dan buah-buah delima ada di atas ganja itu sekeliling, semuanya itu tembaga. Dan seperti itu juga tiang yang kedua, disertai jala-jala.
18 And he took [the] chief of [the] bodyguards Seraiah [the] priest of the head and Zephaniah a priest second and [the] three [the] keepers of the threshold.
Lalu kepala pasukan pengawal itu menangkap Seraya, imam kepala, dan Zefanya, imam tingkat dua dan ketiga orang penjaga pintu.
19 And from the city he took a court-official one who he [was] overseer - over [the] men of war and five men from [those who] saw [the] face of the king who they were found in the city and the scribe [the] commander of the army who mustered [the] people of the land and sixty man from [the] people of the land who were found in the city.
Dari kota itu ditangkapnya seorang pegawai istana yang diangkat mengepalai tentara, dan lima orang pelayan pribadi raja yang terdapat di kota itu, dan panitera panglima tentara yang mengerahkan rakyat negeri menjadi tentara, dan enam puluh orang dari rakyat negeri yang terdapat di kota itu.
20 And he took them Nebuzaradan [the] chief of [the] bodyguards and he brought them to [the] king of Babylon Riblah towards.
Nebuzaradan, kepala pasukan pengawal, menangkap mereka dan membawa mereka kepada raja Babel, di Ribla.
21 And he struck down them [the] king of Babylon and he put to death them at Riblah in [the] land of Hamath and it went into exile Judah from on land its.
Lalu raja Babel menyuruh membunuh mereka di Ribla, di tanah Hamat. Demikianlah orang Yehuda diangkut ke dalam pembuangan dari tanahnya.
22 And the people who remained in [the] land of Judah whom he left behind Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon and he appointed over them Gedaliah [the] son of Ahikam [the] son of Shaphan.
Tentang rakyat yang masih tinggal di tanah Yehuda yang ditinggalkan oleh Nebukadnezar, raja Babel, diangkatnyalah atas mereka Gedalya bin Ahikam bin Safan.
23 And they heard all [the] commanders of the armies they and the men that he had appointed [the] king of Babylon Gedaliah and they came to Gedaliah Mizpah and Ishmael [the] son of Nethaniah and Johanan [the] son of Kareah and Seraiah [the] son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite and Jaazaniah [the] son of the Maacathite they and men their.
Ketika semua panglima tentara dengan orang-orangnya mendengar bahwa raja Babel telah mengangkat Gedalya, maka pergilah mereka kepada Gedalya, ke Mizpa, yaitu Ismael bin Netanya, Yohanan bin Kareah, Seraya bin Tanhumet, orang Netofa itu, dan Yaazanya, anak seorang Maakha, bersama dengan anak buahnya.
24 And he swore an oath to them Gedaliah and to men their and he said to them may not you be afraid from [the] servants of the Chaldeans dwell in the land and serve [the] king of Babylon so it may go well for you.
Lalu bersumpahlah Gedalya kepada mereka dan anak buah mereka, katanya kepada mereka: "Janganlah kamu takut terhadap pegawai-pegawai orang Kasdim itu; tinggallah di negeri ini dan takluklah kepada raja Babel, maka keadaanmu akan menjadi baik."
25 And it was - in the month seventh he came Ishmael [the] son of Nethaniah [the] son of Elishama one of [the] offspring of royalty and ten men with him and they struck down Gedaliah and he died and the Jews and the Chaldeans who they were with him at Mizpah.
Tetapi dalam bulan yang ketujuh datanglah Ismael bin Netanya bin Elisama, seorang yang asalnya dari keturunan raja, dan sepuluh orang bersama-sama dengan dia; mereka membunuh Gedalya dan orang-orang Yehuda dan orang-orang Kasdim yang ada bersama-sama dengan dia di Mizpa.
26 And they arose all the people from [the] small and unto [the] great and [the] commanders of the armies and they went Egypt for they were afraid of [the] Chaldeans.
Maka bangkitlah seluruh rakyat, dari yang kecil sampai yang besar, serta panglima-panglima tentara, lalu larilah mereka ke Mesir, sebab mereka takut terhadap orang Kasdim itu.
27 And it was in thirty and seven year of [the] exile of Jehoiachin [the] king of Judah in two [plus] ten month on [day] twenty and seven of the month he lifted up Evil-Merodach [the] king of Babylon in [the] year became king he [the] head of Jehoiachin [the] king of Judah from [the] house of imprisonment.
Kemudian dalam tahun ketiga puluh tujuh sesudah Yoyakhin, raja Yehuda dibuang, dalam bulan yang kedua belas, pada tanggal dua puluh tujuh bulan itu, maka Ewil-Merodakh, raja Babel, dalam tahun ia menjadi raja, menunjukkan belas kasihannya kepada Yoyakhin, raja Yehuda, dengan melepaskannya dari penjara.
28 And he spoke with him good and he set throne his above [the] throne of the kings who [were] with him in Babylon.
Ewil-Merodakh berbicara baik-baik dengan dia dan memberi kedudukan kepadanya lebih tinggi dari pada kedudukan raja-raja yang bersama-sama dengan dia di Babel;
29 And he changed [the] clothes of imprisonment his and he ate bread continually before him all [the] days of life his.
ia boleh mengganti pakaian penjaranya dan boleh selalu makan roti di hadapan raja selama hidupnya.
30 And allowance his an allowance of continuity it was given to him from with the king [the] matter of a day in day its all [the] days of life his.
Dan tentang belanjanya, raja selalu memberikannya kepadanya, sekadar yang perlu tiap-tiap hari, selama hidupnya.
