2 Kings 25
1 And it was in [the] year ninth of reigning his in the month tenth on the ten of the month he came Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon he and all army his on Jerusalem and he encamped on it and they built on it a siege-wall all around.
Und es geschah im neunten Jahre seiner Regierung, im zehnten Monat, am Zehnten des Monats, da kam Nebukadnezar, der König von Babel, er und sein ganzes Heer, wider Jerusalem und belagerte es; und sie bauten eine Verschanzung wider dasselbe ringsumher.
2 And it came the city in state of siege until one [plus] ten year of the king Zedekiah.
Und die Stadt kam in Belagerung bis in das elfte Jahr des Königs Zedekia.
3 (In the month fourth *X*) on [day] nine of the month and it was severe the famine in the city and not it belonged food to [the] people of the land.
Am Neunten des vierten Monats, da nahm der Hunger in der Stadt überhand; und es war kein Brot mehr da für das Volk des Landes.
4 And it was broken into the city and all [the] men of war - this night [the] way of [the] gate - between the two walls which [was] at [the] garden of the king and [the] Chaldeans [were] on the city all around and he went [the] direction of the Arabah.
Und die Stadt wurde erbrochen, und alle Kriegsmänner flohen des Nachts auf dem Wege durch das Tor, welches zwischen den beiden Mauern bei dem Garten des Königs lag (die Chaldäer aber waren rings um die Stadt her); und man zog den Weg zur Ebene.
5 And they pursued [the] army of [the] Chaldeans after the king and they overtook him in [the] plains of Jericho and all army his they were scattered from with him.
Aber das Heer der Chaldäer jagte dem König nach, und sie erreichten ihn in den Ebenen von Jericho; und sein ganzes Heer zerstreute sich von ihm weg.
6 And they seized the king and they brought up him to [the] king of Babylon Riblah towards and they spoke with him judgment.
Und sie ergriffen den König und führten ihn zu dem König von Babel nach Ribla hinauf; und man sprach das Urteil über ihn.
7 And [the] sons of Zedekiah they slaughtered to eyes his and [the] eyes of Zedekiah he made blind and he bound him with bronze fetters and he brought him Babylon.
Und man schlachtete die Söhne Zedekias vor seinen Augen; und man blendete die Augen Zedekias, und band ihn mit ehernen Fesseln und brachte ihn nach Babel.
8 And in the month fifth on [day] seven of the month it [was] year nine-teen year of the king Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon he came Nebuzaradan [the] chief of [the] bodyguards [the] servant of [the] king of Babylon Jerusalem.
Und im fünften Monat, am Siebten des Monats, das war das neunzehnte Jahr des Königs Nebukadnezar, des Königs von Babel, kam Nebusaradan, der Oberste der Leibwache, der Knecht des Königs von Babel, nach Jerusalem.
9 And he burned [the] house of Yahweh and [the] house of the king and all [the] houses of Jerusalem and every house of a great [person] he burned with fire.
Und er verbrannte das Haus Jehovas und das Haus des Königs; und alle Häuser Jerusalems und jedes große Haus verbrannte er mit Feuer.
10 And [the] walls of Jerusalem all around they broke down all [the] army of [the] Chaldeans who [was the] chief of [the] bodyguards.
Und das ganze Heer der Chaldäer, das bei dem Obersten der Leibwache war, riß die Mauern von Jerusalem ringsum nieder.
11 And [the] rest of the people which remained in the city and those [who] fell who they fell on the king of Babylon and [the] rest of the multitude he took into exile Nebuzaradan [the] chief of [the] bodyguards.
Und den Rest des Volkes, die in der Stadt Übriggebliebenen, und die Überläufer, die zum König von Babel übergelaufen waren, und den Rest der Menge führte Nebusaradan, der Oberste der Leibwache, hinweg.
12 And some of [the] poor people of the land he left behind [the] chief of [the] bodyguards to vinedressers and to ploughmen.
Aber von den Geringen des Landes ließ der Oberste der Leibwache zurück zu Weingärtnern und zu Ackerleuten.
13 And [the] pillars of bronze which [were] [the] house of Yahweh and the stands and [the] sea of bronze which [was] in [the] house of Yahweh they broke [the] Chaldeans and they carried bronze their Babylon towards.
Und die ehernen Säulen, die am Hause Jehovas waren, und die Gestelle und das eherne Meer, die im Hause Jehovas waren, zerschlugen die Chaldäer und führten das Erz davon nach Babel.
14 And the pots and the shovels and the snuffers and the pans and all [the] articles of bronze which people served with them they took.
Und die Töpfe und die Schaufeln und die Lichtmesser und die Schalen, und alle ehernen Geräte, womit man den Dienst verrichtete, nahmen sie weg.
15 And the fire-pans and the bowls which [were] gold gold and which [were] silver silver he took [the] chief of [the] bodyguards.
Auch die Räucherpfannen und die Sprengschalen, was von Gold war, das Gold, und was von Silber war, das Silber, nahm der Oberste der Leibwache weg.
16 The pillars - two the sea one and the stands which he had made Solomon for [the] house of Yahweh not it belonged weight to [the] bronze of all the articles these.
Die zwei Säulen, das eine Meer und die Gestelle, die Salomo für das Haus Jehovas gemacht hatte: das Erz aller dieser Geräte war nicht zu wägen.
17 [was] eight-Teen cubit[s] [the] height of - the pillar one and a capital [was] on it - bronze and [the] height of the capital [was] three (cubits *Q(K)*) and a network and pomegranates [were] on the capital all around everything [was] bronze and like these [things] [belonged] to the pillar second with the network.
Achtzehn Ellen war die Höhe der einen Säule, und ein Kapitäl von Erz war darauf, und die Höhe des Kapitäls war drei Ellen, und Netzwerk und Granatäpfel waren an dem Kapitäl ringsum: alles von Erz; und desgleichen war die andere Säule nebst dem Netzwerk.
18 And he took [the] chief of [the] bodyguards Seraiah [the] priest of the head and Zephaniah a priest second and [the] three [the] keepers of the threshold.
Und der Oberste der Leibwache nahm Scheraja, den Oberpriester, und Zephanja, den zweiten Priester, und die drei Hüter der Schwelle;
19 And from the city he took a court-official one who he [was] overseer - over [the] men of war and five men from [those who] saw [the] face of the king who they were found in the city and the scribe [the] commander of the army who mustered [the] people of the land and sixty man from [the] people of the land who were found in the city.
und aus der Stadt nahm er einen Kämmerer, der über die Kriegsleute bestellt war, und fünf Männer von denen, welche das Angesicht des Königs sahen, die in der Stadt vorgefunden wurden, und den Schreiber des Heerobersten, der das Volk des Landes zum Heere aushob, und sechzig Mann von dem Volke des Landes, die in der Stadt vorgefunden wurden.
20 And he took them Nebuzaradan [the] chief of [the] bodyguards and he brought them to [the] king of Babylon Riblah towards.
Und Nebusaradan, der Oberste der Leibwache, nahm sie und brachte sie zu dem König von Babel nach Ribla.
21 And he struck down them [the] king of Babylon and he put to death them at Riblah in [the] land of Hamath and it went into exile Judah from on land its.
Und der König von Babel erschlug sie und tötete sie zu Ribla im Lande Hamath. Und so wurde Juda aus seinem Lande weggeführt.
22 And the people who remained in [the] land of Judah whom he left behind Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon and he appointed over them Gedaliah [the] son of Ahikam [the] son of Shaphan.
Und über das Volk, das im Lande Juda übriggeblieben war, welches Nebukadnezar, der König von Babel, übriggelassen hatte, über sie bestellte er Gedalja, den Sohn Achikams, des Sohnes Schaphans.
23 And they heard all [the] commanders of the armies they and the men that he had appointed [the] king of Babylon Gedaliah and they came to Gedaliah Mizpah and Ishmael [the] son of Nethaniah and Johanan [the] son of Kareah and Seraiah [the] son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite and Jaazaniah [the] son of the Maacathite they and men their.
Und als alle Heerobersten, sie und ihre Männer, hörten, daß der König von Babel Gedalja bestellt habe, da kamen sie zu Gedalja nach Mizpa; nämlich Ismael, der Sohn Nethanjas, und Jochanan, der Sohn Kareachs, und Seraja, der Sohn Tanchumeths, der Netophathiter, und Jaasanja, der Sohn des Maakathiters, sie und ihre Männer.
24 And he swore an oath to them Gedaliah and to men their and he said to them may not you be afraid from [the] servants of the Chaldeans dwell in the land and serve [the] king of Babylon so it may go well for you.
Und Gedalja schwur ihnen und ihren Männern und sprach zu ihnen: Fürchtet euch nicht vor den Knechten der Chaldäer; bleibet im Lande und dienet dem König von Babel, so wird es euch wohl gehen.
25 And it was - in the month seventh he came Ishmael [the] son of Nethaniah [the] son of Elishama one of [the] offspring of royalty and ten men with him and they struck down Gedaliah and he died and the Jews and the Chaldeans who they were with him at Mizpah.
Es geschah aber im siebten Monat, da kam Ismael, der Sohn Nethanjas, des Sohnes Elischamas, vom königlichen Geschlecht, und zehn Männer mit ihm; und sie erschlugen Gedalja (und er starb) sowie die Juden und die Chaldäer, die zu Mizpa bei ihm waren.
26 And they arose all the people from [the] small and unto [the] great and [the] commanders of the armies and they went Egypt for they were afraid of [the] Chaldeans.
Da machte sich alles Volk, vom Kleinsten bis zum Größten, mit den Heerobersten auf, und sie kamen nach Ägypten; denn sie fürchteten sich vor den Chaldäern.
27 And it was in thirty and seven year of [the] exile of Jehoiachin [the] king of Judah in two [plus] ten month on [day] twenty and seven of the month he lifted up Evil-Merodach [the] king of Babylon in [the] year became king he [the] head of Jehoiachin [the] king of Judah from [the] house of imprisonment.
Und es geschah im siebenunddreißigsten Jahre der Wegführung Jojakins, des Königs von Juda, im zwölften Monat, am Siebenundzwanzigsten des Monats, da erhob Ewil-Merodak, der König von Babel, im Jahre, da er König wurde, das Haupt Jojakins, des Königs von Juda, aus dem Gefängnis.
28 And he spoke with him good and he set throne his above [the] throne of the kings who [were] with him in Babylon.
Und er redete gütig mit ihm und setzte seinen Stuhl über den Stuhl der Könige, die bei ihm in Babel waren;
29 And he changed [the] clothes of imprisonment his and he ate bread continually before him all [the] days of life his.
und er veränderte die Kleider seines Gefängnisses; und er aß beständig vor ihm alle Tage seines Lebens.
30 And allowance his an allowance of continuity it was given to him from with the king [the] matter of a day in day its all [the] days of life his.
Und sein Unterhalt, ein beständiger Unterhalt, wurde ihm, so viel er täglich bedurfte, von dem König gegeben alle Tage seines Lebens.
