2 Kings 24
1 In days his he came up Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon and he was of him Jehoiakim a subject three years and he turned back and he rebelled against him.
Bara mootummaa Yehooyaaqiim keessa Nebukadnezar mootichi Baabilon biyya sana ni weerare; Yehooyaaqiimis waggaa sadii isaaf garboome. Ergasii garuu yaada geeddaratee Nebukadnezaritti fincile.
2 And he sent Yahweh - on him [the] marauding bands of [the] Chaldeans and [the] marauding bands of Aram and - [the] marauding bands of Moab and [the] marauding bands of [the] people of Ammon and he sent them on Judah to destroy it according to [the] word of Yahweh which he had spoken by [the] hand of servants his the prophets.
Waaqayyos saamtota Baabilon, saamtota Sooriyaa, saamtota Moʼaabii fi saamtota Amoon isatti erge. Innis akkuma dubbii Waaqayyoo kan garboonni isaa raajonni dubbatan sanaatti Yihuudaa balleessuudhaaf isaan erge.
3 Surely - on [the] mouth of Yahweh it happened in Judah to remove [it] from on face his for [the] sins of Manasseh according to all that he had done.
Dhugumaan wanni kun sababii cubbuu Minaaseetii fi waan inni hojjete hundaatiif fuula isaa duraa isaan balleessuudhaaf akkuma ajaja Waaqayyootti Yihuudaatti dhufe;
4 And also [the] blood of the innocent which he had shed and he filled Jerusalem blood innocent and not he was willing Yahweh to forgive.
akkasumas sababii inni dhiiga namoota yakka hin qabnee dhangalaasee fi sababii inni dhiiga namoota yakka hin qabneetiin Yerusaalemin guuteef Waaqayyo dhiisuufii hin barbaanne.
5 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jehoiakim and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.
Wantoonni bara mootummaa Yehooyaaqiim keessa hojjetaman kanneen biraatii fi wanni inni hojjete hundi kitaaba seenaa mootota Yihuudaa keessatti barreeffamaniiru mitii?
6 And he lay down Jehoiakim with ancestors his and he became king Jehoiachin son his in place of him.
Yehooyaaqiim abbootii isaa wajjin ni boqote. Ilmi isaa Yehooyaakiin iddoo isaa buʼee mootii taʼe.
7 And not he repeated again [the] king of Egypt to come out from own land his for he had taken [the] king of Babylon from [the] wadi of Egypt to [the] river of Euphrates all that it had belonged to [the] king of Egypt.
Sababii mootichi Baabilon biyya isaa hunda, Malkaa Gibxii jalqabee hamma Laga Efraaxiisitti qabateef mootiin Gibxi lammata duulaaf biyya isaatii hin baane.
8 [was] a son of Eight-teen year[s] Jehoiachin when became king he and three months he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Nehushta [the] daughter of Elnathan from Jerusalem.
Yehooyaakiin yeroo mootii taʼetti umuriin isaa waggaa kudha saddeet ture; innis Yerusaalem keessa taaʼee jiʼa sadii bulche. Maqaan haadha isaa Nehushtaa ture; isheenis intala Elnaataan namicha Yerusaalem sanaa ti.
9 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done father his.
Innis akkuma abbaan isaa hojjete sana fuula Waaqayyoo duratti waan hamaa hojjete.
10 At the time that (they went up *Q(K)*) [the] servants of Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon Jerusalem and it came the city in state of siege.
Yeruma sanatti loltoonni Nebukadnezar mooticha Baabilon Yerusaalemitti duulanii ishee ni marsan;
11 And he came Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon to the city and servants his [were] laying siege on it.
utuma ajajjoonni loltoota isaa ishee marsaa jiranuu Nebukadnezar mataan isaa gara magaalattii ni dhufe.
12 And he went out Jehoiachin [the] king of Judah to [the] king of Babylon he and mother his and servants his and officials his and court-officials his and he took him [the] king of Babylon in year eight of reigning his.
Yehooyaakiin mootichi Yihuudaa, haati isaa, garboonni isaa, namoonni isaa bebeekamoonii fi qondaaltonni isaa hundinuu mootii Baabilonitti harka kennatan. Mootiin Baabilonis mooʼee waggaa saddeettaffaatti Yehooyaakiinin boojiʼee ni fudhate.
13 And he brought out from there all [the] treasures of [the] house of Yahweh and [the] treasures of [the] house of the king and he cut up all [the] articles of gold which he had made Solomon [the] king of Israel for [the] temple of Yahweh just as he had spoken Yahweh.
Nebukadnezaris akkuma Waaqayyo dubbatee ture sanatti qabeenya mana qulqullummaa Waaqayyootii fi kan masaraa mootummaa keessa ture hunda ni fudhate; miʼa warqee kan Solomoon mootichi Israaʼel mana qulqullummaa Waaqayyootiif tolche hunda isaa immoo caccabse.
14 And he took into exile all Jerusalem and all the officials and - all [the] mighty [men] of strength (ten *Q(K)*) thousand exile[s] and every craftsman and smith not anyone was left except [the] poor people of [the] people of the land.
Inni warra Yerusaalem keessa jiraatan hunda ajajjoota waraanaatii fi loltoota hunda, warra ogummaa hojii harkaa qabanii fi warra sibiila tuman hunda walumatti nama kuma kudhan boojiʼee ni fudhate. Namoota akka malee hiyyeeyyii qofatu biyya sanatti hafe.
15 And he took into exile Jehoiachin Babylon towards and [the] mother of the king and [the] wives of the king and court-officials his and ([the] leaders of *Q(K)*) the land he led away exile[s] from Jerusalem Babylon towards.
Nebukadnezar Yehooyaakiinin boojiʼee Baabilonitti ni geesse. Akkasumas haadha mootichaa, niitota isaa, qondaaltota isaatii fi namoota biyya sanaa bebbeekamoo boojiʼee Yerusaalemii gara Baabilonitti ni geesse.
16 And all [the] men of strength seven thousand and the craftsman and the smith one thousand everyone warriors makers of war and he brought them [the] king of Babylon exile[s] Babylon towards.
Kana malees mootichi Baabilon humna waraanaa guutuu kan nama kuma torba of keessaa qabu, warra ogummaa hojii harkaa qabanii fi warra sibiila tuman kuma tokko boojiʼee Baabilonitti ni geesse; isaan kunneen hundi jajjaboo fi warra lola dandaʼan turan.
17 And he made king [the] king of Babylon Mattaniah uncle his in place of him and he changed name his Zedekiah.
Innis Mataaniyaa eessuma Yehooyaakiin sana iddoo isaa mootii godhe; maqaa isaas Zedeqiyaatti ni geeddare.
18 [was] a son of Twenty and one year[s] Zedekiah when became king he and one [plus] ten year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his ([was] Hamutal *Q(K)*) [the] daughter of Jeremiah from Libnah.
Zedeqiyaa yeroo mootii taʼetti umuriin isaa waggaa digdamii tokkoo ture; innis Yerusaalem keessa taaʼee waggaa kudha tokko bulche. Maqaan haadha isaa Hamuutaal ture; isheenis intala Ermiyaas kan magaalaa Libnaatii dhufte turte.
19 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Jehoiakim.
Innis akkuma Yehooyaaqiim hojjete sana fuula Waaqayyoo duratti waan hamaa ni hojjete.
20 For - on [the] anger of Yahweh it happened in Jerusalem and in Judah until threw he them from on face his and he rebelled Zedekiah against [the] king of Babylon.
Wanni kun hundi sababii dheekkamsa Waaqayyootiif Yerusaalemii fi Yihuudaa irra gaʼe; dhuma irrattis inni fuula isaa duraa isaan balleesse. Zedeqiyaa mooticha Baabilonitti fincile.
