2 Kings 21
1 [was] a son of Two [plus] ten year[s] Manasseh when became king he and fifty and five year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Hephzi-bah.
Manasse war zwölf Jahre alt, als er König wurde, und er regierte fünfundfünfzig Jahre zu Jerusalem. Seine Mutter hieß Chephsiba.
2 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to [the] abominations of the nations which he had dispossessed Yahweh from before [the] people of Israel.
Er tat, was dem Herrn mißfiel, ähnlich den Greueln der Heiden, die der Herr vor den Israeliten vertrieben hatte.
3 And he returned and he built the high places which he had destroyed Hezekiah father his and he set up altars to Baal and he made an Asherah pole just as he had done Ahab [the] king of Israel and he bowed down to all [the] host of the heavens and he served them.
Er baute wieder die Höhen auf, die sein Vater Ezechias zerstört hatte, errichtete dem Baal Altäre und machte eine Aschera, wie Israels König Achab getan. Auch betete er das ganze Himmelsheer an und diente ihm.
4 And he built altars in [the] house of Yahweh which he had said Yahweh in Jerusalem I will put name my.
Auch hatte er Altäre im Hause des Herrn gebaut, von dem der Herr gesagt: "Jerusalem mache ich zum Sitze meines Namens."
5 And he built altars to all [the] host of the heavens in [the] two [the] courtyards of [the] house of Yahweh.
Er baute aber auch dem ganzen Himmelsheere Altäre in beiden Vorhöfen im Hause des Herrn.
6 And he made pass son his in the fire and he practiced soothsaying and he practiced divination and he dealt with necromancer and soothsayers he increased to do the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh to provoke [him] to anger.
Ferner führte er seinen Sohn durch's Feuer, trieb Zauberei und Wahrsagerei und befaßte sich mit Totenbeschwörern und Zeichendeutern. So tat er vieles, was dem Herrn mißfiel, um ihn zu kränken.
7 And he put [the] image of Asherah which he had made in the house which he had said Yahweh to David and to Solomon son his in the house this and in Jerusalem which I have chosen from all [the] tribes of Israel I will put name my for ever.
Er stellte der Aschera Bild, das er gemacht, in das Haus, von dem der Herr zu David und seinem Sohne Salomo gesprochen: "Dies Haus und dies Jerusalem, das ich aus allen Stämmen Israels erwählt, das mache ich zum Sitze meines Namens ewiglich.
8 And not I will repeat to make wander [the] foot of Israel from the ground which I gave to ancestors their only - if they will take care to do according to all that I have commanded them and to all the law which he commanded them servant my Moses.
Ich lasse niemals Israels Füße flüchtig gehen vom Boden, den ich ihren Vätern einst gegeben, wenn sie bedacht sind, so zu tun, wie ich es ihnen anbefohlen, ganz nach dem Gesetze, das ihnen einst mein Diener Moses gegeben hat."
9 And not they listened and he misled them Manasseh to do evil more than the nations which he had destroyed Yahweh from before [the] people of Israel.
Doch sie gehorchten nicht. Manasse verführte sie dazu, Schlimmes zu tun, Schlimmeres als die Heiden, die der Herr vor den Israeliten vertilgt hatte.
10 And he spoke Yahweh by [the] hand of servants his the prophets saying.
Da sprach der Herr durch seine Diener, die Propheten, also:
11 Because that he has done Manasseh [the] king of Judah the abominations these he has done evil more than all that they did the Amorite[s] who [was] before him and he has caused to sin also Judah with idols his.
"Manasse, Judas König, der tut diese Greuel. Er tut noch Schlimmeres, als all das war, was die Amoriter einst getan, die vor ihm dagewesen, verführte er doch Juda, daß es sündigte mit seinen Götzen.
12 Therefore thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel here I [am] about to bring calamity on Jerusalem and Judah which every ([one who] hears of it *Q(K)*) they will tingle [the] two ears his.
Darum spricht der Herr, Gott Israels: 'Ich bringe Unheil über Juda und Jerusalem, daß allen, die es hören, beide Ohren gellen.
13 And I will stretch out over Jerusalem [the] measuring-line of Samaria and [the] leveling tool of [the] house of Ahab and I will wipe clean Jerusalem just as someone wipes clean the bowl he wipes [it] clean and he turns [it] over on face its.
Ich bringe an Jerusalem Samarias Meßschnur und des Achabhauses Waage und wische dann Jerusalem so aus, gleichwie man eine Schüssel wischt und sie dann umstürzt.
14 And I will abandon [the] remnant of inheritance my and I will give them in [the] hand of enemies their and they will become spoil and plunder to all enemies their.
Und so verstoße ich dann den Rest meines Eigentums und gebe sie in ihrer Feinde Hand, daß sie zum Raube und zur Beute allen ihren Feinden werden.
15 Because that they have done the evil in view my and they have been provoking to anger me since the day when they came out ancestors their from Egypt and until the day this.
Sie tun, was mir mißfällt. Sie reizten mich zum Zorn von dem Tage an, da ihre Väter aus Ägypten zogen, bis auf diesen Tag.'"
16 And also blood innocent he shed Manasseh much very until that he had filled Jerusalem mouth to mouth apart from sin his which he caused to sin Judah to do the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh.
Dazu vergoß Manasse sehr viel unschuldiges Blut, bis er damit Jerusalem von einer Ecke bis zur anderen erfüllte, außer seiner Missetat, daß er Juda verführte, zu tun, was dem Herrn mißfiel.
17 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Manasseh and all that he did and sin his which he sinned ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.
Ist nicht der Rest der Geschichte des Manasse und alles, was er sonst getan, und sein Frevel, den er tat, im Buche der Geschichte der Könige Judas aufgezeichnet?
18 And he lay down Manasseh with ancestors his and he was buried in [the] garden of house his in [the] garden of Uzzah and he became king Amon son his in place of him.
Als sich Manasse zu seinen Vätern legte, wurde er im Garten seines Hauses, in Uzzas Garten, begraben. Sein Sohn Amon ward an seiner Statt König.
19 [was] a son of Twenty and two year[s] Amon when became king he and two years he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Meshullemeth [the] daughter of Haruz from Jotbah.
Amon war zweiundzwanzig Jahre alt, als er König wurde, und zwei Jahre regierte er zu Jerusalem. Seine Mutter hieß Mesullemet und war des Charus Tochter aus Jotba.
20 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh just as he had done Manasseh father his.
Er tat, was dem Herrn mißfiel, wie sein Vater Manasse getan.
21 And he walked in all the way which he had walked father his and he served the idols which he had served father his and he bowed down to them.
Er wandelte ganz auf dem Weg, den sein Vater gewandelt, und diente den Götzen, denen sein Vater gedient hatte, und betete sie an.
22 And he forsook Yahweh [the] God of ancestors his and not he walked in [the] way of Yahweh.
Er verließ den Herrn, den Gott seiner Väter, und wandelte nicht auf des Herrn Weg.
23 And they conspired [the] servants of Amon on him and they killed the king in own house his.
Da verschworen sich des Amon Diener gegen ihn und töteten den König in seinem Hause.
24 And it struck down [the] people of the land all those [who] had conspired on the king Amon and they made king [the] people of the land Josiah son his in place of him.
Der eingesessene Volksteil aber erschlug alle, die sich gegen den Amon verschworen hatten. Dann machte der eingesessene Volksteil seinen Sohn Josias an seiner Statt zum König.
25 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Amon which he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.
Ist nicht der Rest der Geschichte Amons, und was er sonst getan, im Buche der Geschichte der Könige Judas aufgeschrieben?
26 (And someone buried *LB(ah)*) him in grave his in [the] garden of Uzzah and he became king Josiah son his in place of him.
Man begrub ihn in seinem Begräbnis in Uzzas Garten, und sein Sohn Josias ward an seiner Statt König.
