2 Kings 16
1 In year seven-teen year of Pekah [the] son of Remaliah he became king Ahaz [the] son of Jotham [the] king of Judah.
Remaliah capa Pekah saning hatlaisarihto naah, Judah siangpahrang Jotham capa Ahaz to siangpahrang ah oh amtong.
2 [was] a son of Twenty year[s] Ahaz when became king he and six-teen year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and not he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh God his like David ancestor his.
Ahaz siangpahrang ah oh naah saning pumphaeto oh boeh; anih loe saning hatlaitarukto thung Jerusalem to uk. Anih loe ampa David baktiah, angmah ih Angraeng Sithaw mikhnukah kahoih hmuen to sah ai.
3 And he walked in [the] way of [the] kings of Israel and also son his he made pass in the fire according to [the] abominations of the nations which he had dispossessed Yahweh them from before [the] people of Israel.

4 And he sacrificed and he made smoke at the high places and on the hills and under every tree luxuriant.

5 Then he came up Rezin [the] king of Aram and Pekah [the] son of Remaliah [the] king of Israel Jerusalem for battle and they laid siege on Ahaz and not they were able to do battle.
Syria siangpahrang Rezin hoi Israel siangpahrang Remaliah capa Pekah loe Jerusalem tuk hanah angzoh hoi tahang moe, Ahaz to takui hoi; toe anih to pazawk hoi thai ai.
6 At the time that he restored Rezin [the] king of Aram Elath to Aram and he cleared out the Jews from Elath (and Edomites *Q(K)*) they came Elath and they have dwelt there until the day this.

7 And he sent Ahaz messengers to Tiglath-pileser [the] king of Assyria saying [am] servant your and son your I come up and deliver me from [the] hand of [the] king of Aram and from [the] hand of [the] king of Israel who are rising up on me.

8 And he took Ahaz the silver and the gold which was found [the] house of Yahweh and in [the] treasuries of [the] house of the king and he sent [it] to [the] king of Assyria a gift.
Ahaz mah Angraeng ih tempul hoi siangpahrang ih hmuen pakuemhaih thung ih sui hoi phoisanawk to lak boih moe, Assyria siangpahrang hanah tangqum ah pat pae.
9 And he listened to him [the] king of Assyria and he came up [the] king of Assyria to Damascus and he seized it and he took into exile it Kir towards and Rezin he put to death.
Assyria siangpahrang mah anih ih lok to tahngaih pae; Assyria siangpahrang loe caeh moe, Damaska to tuk; a lak pacoengah, to ah kaom kaminawk to Kir vangpui ah misong ah caeh haih, Rezin to hum.
10 And he went the king Ahaz to meet Tiglath-pileser [the] king of Assyria Damascus and he saw the altar which [was] in Damascus and he sent the king Ahaz to Uriah the priest [the] likeness of the altar and pattern its for all work its.
Ahaz siangpahrang loe Assyria siangpahrang Tiglath-Pileser tongh hanah Damaska ah caeh; Damaska vangpui ah hmaicam maeto a hnuk; to ih hmaicam ih krang, lenhaih hoi sawkhaih dan, sakhaih dannawk boih to tarik moe, qaima Uriah khaeah pat pae.
11 And he built Uriah the priest the altar according to all that he had sent the king Ahaz from Damascus so he did Uriah the priest until came the king Ahaz from Damascus.
Qaima Uriah mah Damaska vangpui hoiah Ahaz siangpahrang mah pat pae ih krang baktih toengah hmaicam to sak; Ahaz siangpahrang Damaska vangpui hoi amlaem ai naah sak pacoeng pae boeh.
12 And he came the king from Damascus and he saw the king the altar and he drew near the king to the altar and he offered up on it.
Siangpahrang Damaska vangpui hoiah amlaem let naah, hmaicam to a hnuk; anih loe a taengah caeh moe, to hmaicam nuiah angbawnhaih to sak.
13 And he made smoke burnt offering his and grain offering his and he poured out drink offering his and he sprinkled [the] blood of the peace offerings which [belonged] to him on the altar.
Hmai angbawnhaih, canghum angbawnhaih to a sak, naek koi angbawnhaih doeh bawh moe, hmaicam nuiah angdaeh angbawnhaih athii to haeh.
14 And the altar of bronze which [was] before Yahweh and he brought near from with [the] face of the house from between the altar and from between [the] house of Yahweh and he put it on [the] side of the altar north-ward.
Angraeng hmaa ah kaom, Angraeng im hmaa ih, sum kamling hmaicam to, im hmaa hoiah pathuih ving, Angraeng im hoi hmaicam salak hoiah tahruet ving moe, hmaicam aluek bangah a suek.
15 (And he commanded *Q(K)*) the king Ahaz Uriah the priest saying on the altar great make smoke [the] burnt offering of the morning and [the] grain offering of the evening and [the] burnt offering of the king and grain offering his and [the] burnt offering of all [the] people of the land and grain offering their and drink offerings their and all [the] blood of [the] burnt offering and all [the] blood of [the] sacrifice on it you will sprinkle and [the] altar of bronze it will belong to me to consult.

16 And he did Uriah the priest according to all that he commanded the king Ahaz.

17 And he cut off the king Ahaz the rims of the stands and he removed from on them (*Q(K)*) the laver and the sea he took down from on the ox[en] the bronze which [were] under it and he put it on a pavement of stone.
Ahaz siangpahrang mah sumkamling aqai to boeng pat moe, kangthui thaih akhok kaom tung pong ih sabae kathuk to takhoe ving; sumkamling hoiah sak ih maitaw tae nuiah kaom tuili to lak tathuk moe, thlung nuiah pahnut.
18 And ([the] covered structure of *Q(K)*) the sabbath which people had built in the house and [the] entrance of the king outer he removed [the] house of Yahweh because of [the] king of Assyria.
Angraeng imthung ah sak ih Sabbath niah patoh ih kahni doeh takhoe ving, Assyria siangpahrang pongah, siangpahrang Angraeng im ah akunhaih loklam doeh takhoe pae o ving.
19 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Ahaz which he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.
Ahaz siangpahrang ah oh nathung kaom hmuennawk hoi a sak ih hmuennawk loe, Judah siangpahrangnawk ih ahmin pakuemhaih cabu thungah tarik o na ai maw?
20 And he lay down Ahaz with ancestors his and he was buried with ancestors his in [the] city of David and he became king Hezekiah son his in place of him.
Ahaz loe ampanawk khaeah anghak; ampanawk khaeah David vangpui ah aphum o. Anih zuengah a capa Hezekiah to siangpahrang ah oh.
