2 Kings 16
1 In year seven-teen year of Pekah [the] son of Remaliah he became king Ahaz [the] son of Jotham [the] king of Judah.
Mʼchaka cha 17 cha Peka mwana wa Remaliya, Ahazi mwana wa Yotamu mfumu ya Yuda anayamba kulamulira.
2 [was] a son of Twenty year[s] Ahaz when became king he and six-teen year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and not he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh God his like David ancestor his.
Ahazi anakhala mfumu ali ndi zaka makumi awiri ndipo analamulira mu Yerusalemu zaka 16. Iye sanachite zabwino pamaso pa Yehova Mulungu wake monga momwe Davide kholo lake ankachitira.
3 And he walked in [the] way of [the] kings of Israel and also son his he made pass in the fire according to [the] abominations of the nations which he had dispossessed Yahweh them from before [the] people of Israel.
Iye anayenda mʼnjira ya mafumu a Israeli mpaka kupereka mwana wake wamwamuna pa moto ngati nsembe yopsereza, potsatira zonyansa za anthu a mitundu imene Yehova anayipirikitsa mʼdzikomo Aisraeli asanafike.
4 And he sacrificed and he made smoke at the high places and on the hills and under every tree luxuriant.
Iyeyo ankapereka nsembe ndi kufukiza lubani pa malo opembedzera mafano, pa mapiri ndi pansi pa mtengo uliwonse wa masamba ambiri.
5 Then he came up Rezin [the] king of Aram and Pekah [the] son of Remaliah [the] king of Israel Jerusalem for battle and they laid siege on Ahaz and not they were able to do battle.
Ndipo Rezini mfumu ya Aramu ndi Peka mwana wa Remaliya mfumu ya Israeli anapita kukachita naye nkhondo ku Yerusalemu ndipo anazinga Ahazi, koma sanathe kumugonjetsa.
6 At the time that he restored Rezin [the] king of Aram Elath to Aram and he cleared out the Jews from Elath (and Edomites *Q(K)*) they came Elath and they have dwelt there until the day this.
Nthawi imeneyo Rezini mfumu ya Aramu anatenganso Elati ndi kumubwezera kwa Aaramu, nathamangitsa anthu a ku Yuda mu Elatimo. Aedomu anapita kukakhala ku Elati ndipo akukhalako mpaka lero lino.
7 And he sent Ahaz messengers to Tiglath-pileser [the] king of Assyria saying [am] servant your and son your I come up and deliver me from [the] hand of [the] king of Aram and from [the] hand of [the] king of Israel who are rising up on me.
Ahazi anatuma amithenga kwa Tigilati-Pileseri mfumu ya ku Asiriya kuti, “Ine ndine mtumiki wanu ndipo ndili pansi panu. Bwerani mudzandipulumutse mʼdzanja la mfumu ya Aramu ndiponso mʼdzanja la mfumu ya Israeli amene akundithira nkhondo.”
8 And he took Ahaz the silver and the gold which was found [the] house of Yahweh and in [the] treasuries of [the] house of the king and he sent [it] to [the] king of Assyria a gift.
Ndipo Ahazi anatenga siliva ndi golide amene anamupeza mʼNyumba ya Yehova ndi mosungira chuma cha nyumba ya mfumu ndi kutumiza ngati mphatso kwa mfumu ya ku Asiriya.
9 And he listened to him [the] king of Assyria and he came up [the] king of Assyria to Damascus and he seized it and he took into exile it Kir towards and Rezin he put to death.
Mfumu ya ku Asiriya inamvera pokathira nkhondo mzinda wa Damasiko ndi kuwulanda. Anthu a mu mzindamo anawatumiza ku Kiri ndipo anapha Rezini.
10 And he went the king Ahaz to meet Tiglath-pileser [the] king of Assyria Damascus and he saw the altar which [was] in Damascus and he sent the king Ahaz to Uriah the priest [the] likeness of the altar and pattern its for all work its.

11 And he built Uriah the priest the altar according to all that he had sent the king Ahaz from Damascus so he did Uriah the priest until came the king Ahaz from Damascus.
Choncho wansembe Uriya anamanga guwa lansembe molingana ndi chitsanzo chimene anamutumizira Mfumu Ahazi kuchokera ku Damasiko ndipo anatsiriza kumanga guwalo Ahazi asabwere kuchokera ku Damasiko kuja.
12 And he came the king from Damascus and he saw the king the altar and he drew near the king to the altar and he offered up on it.
Mfumu itabwera kuchokera ku Damasiko kuja ndi kuona guwalo, inasendera pafupi ndi kupereka nsembe paguwapo.
13 And he made smoke burnt offering his and grain offering his and he poured out drink offering his and he sprinkled [the] blood of the peace offerings which [belonged] to him on the altar.
Mfumu inapereka nsembe yopsereza ndi nsembe ya chakudya. Inapereka nsembe yachakumwa ndi kuwaza magazi a nsembe yake yachiyanjano paguwapo.
14 And the altar of bronze which [was] before Yahweh and he brought near from with [the] face of the house from between the altar and from between [the] house of Yahweh and he put it on [the] side of the altar north-ward.
Guwa lamkuwa limene linali pamaso pa Yehova analichotsa kutsogolo kwa nyumbayo, kulichotsa pakati pa guwa latsopano ndi Nyumba ya Yehova ndi kukaliyika cha kumpoto kwa guwa latsopanolo.
15 (And he commanded *Q(K)*) the king Ahaz Uriah the priest saying on the altar great make smoke [the] burnt offering of the morning and [the] grain offering of the evening and [the] burnt offering of the king and grain offering his and [the] burnt offering of all [the] people of the land and grain offering their and drink offerings their and all [the] blood of [the] burnt offering and all [the] blood of [the] sacrifice on it you will sprinkle and [the] altar of bronze it will belong to me to consult.
Pamenepo Mfumu Ahazi inalamula wansembe Uriya kuti, “Pa guwa lalikulu latsopano uziperekapo nsembe yopsereza ya mmawa ndi nsembe ya chakudya ya madzulo, nsembe yopsereza ya mfumu ndi nsembe yake ya chakudya ndiponso nsembe za anthu onse a mʼdziko, za chakudya ndi chakumwa. Pa guwali uziwazapo magazi a nsembe zonse zopsereza ndi nsembe zina zonse. Koma ine ndizigwiritsa ntchito guwa lansembe lamkuwa pofuna kufunsira nzeru.”
16 And he did Uriah the priest according to all that he commanded the king Ahaz.
Ndipo wansembe Uriya anachita monga analamulira Mfumu Ahazi.
17 And he cut off the king Ahaz the rims of the stands and he removed from on them (*Q(K)*) the laver and the sea he took down from on the ox[en] the bronze which [were] under it and he put it on a pavement of stone.
Mfumu Ahazi anachotsa maferemu a maphaka nachotsapo mabeseni. Iye anatsitsa mbiya yayikulu imene inali pamwamba pa ngʼombe zamkuwa ndipo anayika pansi pa chiwundo cha miyala.
18 And ([the] covered structure of *Q(K)*) the sabbath which people had built in the house and [the] entrance of the king outer he removed [the] house of Yahweh because of [the] king of Assyria.
Iye anachotsa kadenga ka pa Sabata kamene kanamangidwa mʼkati mwa Nyumba ya Yehova ndiponso anatseka chipata cholowera mfumu cha kunja kwa nyumba ya Yehova pofuna kukondweretsa mfumu ya ku Asiriya.
19 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Ahaz which he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.
Ntchito zina za Ahazi ndi zonse zimene anachita, kodi sizinalembedwe mʼbuku la mbiri ya mafumu a Yuda?
20 And he lay down Ahaz with ancestors his and he was buried with ancestors his in [the] city of David and he became king Hezekiah son his in place of him.
Ahazi anamwalira ndipo anayikidwa mʼmanda pamodzi ndi makolo ake mu Mzinda wa Davide. Ndipo Hezekiya mwana wake analowa ufumu mʼmalo mwake.
