2 Kings 15
1 In year twenty and seven year of Jeroboam [the] king of Israel he became king Azariah [the] son of Amaziah [the] king of Judah.

2 A son of six-teen year[s] he was when became king he and fifty and two year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Jecholiah from Jerusalem.
Inni yeroo mootii taʼetti nama waggaa kudha jaʼa ture; innis Yerusaalem keessa taaʼee waggaa shantamii lama ni bulche. Maqaan haadha isaa Yekooliyaa ture; isheenis nama Yerusaalem turte.
3 And he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Amaziah father his.
Innis akkuma abbaa isaa Amasiyaa sana fuula Waaqayyoo duratti waan qajeelaa ni hojjete.
4 Only the high places not they were removed still the people [were] sacrificing and [were] making smoke at the high places.
Taʼus iddoowwan sagadaa kanneen gaarran irraa hin diigamne ture; namoonni ittuma fufanii aarsaa dhiʼeessaa, ixaanas achitti aarsaa turan.
5 And he struck Yahweh the king and he was having a skin disease until [the] day of death his and he dwelt in [the] house of separateness and Jotham [the] son of the king [was] over the house judging [the] people of the land.
Waaqayyos hamma gaafa inni duʼeetti mooticha lamxiidhaan dhaʼe; innis mana kophaa keessa ni jiraate. Yootaam ilmi mootichaa itti gaafatama masaraa mootummaa fudhatee saba biyyattii bulche.
6 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Azariah and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.
Wantoonni bara mootummaa Azaariyaa keessa hojjetaman kan biraatii fi wanni inni hojjete hundi kitaaba seenaa mootota Yihuudaa keessatti barreeffamaniiru mitii?
7 And he lay down Azariah with ancestors his and people buried him with ancestors his in [the] city of David and he became king Jotham son his in place of him.
Azaariyaa abbootii isaa wajjin boqotee isaanuma biratti Magaalaa Daawit keessatti ni awwaalame. Ilmi isaa Yootaam iddoo isaa buʼee mootii taʼe.
8 In year thirty and eight year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Zechariah [the] son of Jeroboam over Israel in Samaria six months.
Bara mootummaa Azaariyaa mooticha Yihuudaa keessa waggaa soddomii saddeettaffaatti Zakkaariyaas ilmi Yerobiʼaam Samaariyaa keessatti mootii Israaʼel taʼee jiʼa jaʼa bulche.
9 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh just as they had done ancestors his not he turned aside from [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel.
Innis akkuma abbaan isaa hojjete sana fuula Waaqayyoo duratti waan hamaa hojjete. Inni cubbuu Yerobiʼaam ilma Nebaat kan inni akka warri Israaʼel hojjetan godhe sana irraa hin deebine.
10 And he conspired on him Shallum [the] son of Jabesh and he struck down him (before *LAB(h)*) [the] people and he killed him and he became king in place of him.
Shaluum ilmi Yaabeesh sun Zakkaariyaasitti kaʼee fuuluma sabaa duratti isa ajjeesee iddoo isaa qabatee mootii taʼe.
11 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Zechariah there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
Wantoonni bara mootummaa Zakkaariyaas keessa hojjetaman kanneen biraa kitaaba seenaa mootota Israaʼel keessatti barreeffamaniiru mitii?
12 It [was] [the] word of Yahweh which he had spoken to Jehu saying descendants of a fourth [generation] they will sit of you on [the] throne of Israel and it was thus.
Akkasiinis dubbiin Waaqayyoo kan inni “Sanyiiwwan kee hamma dhaloota Afuraffaatti teessoo Israaʼel irra ni taaʼu” jedhee Yehuutti dubbate sun ni raawwatame.
13 Shallum [the] son of Jabesh he became king in year thirty and nine year of Uzziah [the] king of Judah and he reigned a month of days in Samaria.
Shaluum ilmi Yaabeesh bara mootummaa Uziyaan mooticha Yihuudaa keessa waggaa soddomii saglaffaatti Samaariyaa keessatti mootii Israaʼel taʼee jiʼa tokko bulche.
14 And he went up Menahem [the] son of Gadi from Tirzah and he came Samaria and he struck down Shallum [the] son of Jabesh in Samaria and he killed him and he became king in place of him.
Menaaheem ilmi Gaadiis Tiirzaadhaa kaʼee Samaariyaa dhaqe. Innis Shaluum ilma Yaabeesh sana lolee Samaariyaa keessatti ajjeesee iddoo isaa buʼee mootii taʼe.
15 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Shallum and conspiracy his which he conspired there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
Wantoonni bara mootummaa Shaluum keessa hojjetaman biraatii fi fincilli inni hojjete kitaaba seenaa mootota Israaʼel keessatti barreeffamaniiru.
16 Then he struck Menahem Tiphsah and all [those] who [were] in it and territories its from Tirzah for not it opened and he struck [it] all pregnant [women] its he ripped open.
Yeroo sanatti, Menaaheem Tiirzaa kaʼee Tiifsaa fi warra magaalaa sana keessaa fi naannoo ishee jiraatu hunda dhaʼe; kunis sababii isaan karra banuufii didaniif. Innis Tiifsaa saamee dubartoota ulfa qaban hunda garaa baqaqse.
17 In year thirty and nine year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Menahem [the] son of Gadi over Israel ten years in Samaria.
Bara Azaariyaa mooticha Yihuudaa keessa waggaa soddomii saglaffaatti Menaaheem ilmi Gaadii mootii Israaʼel taʼe; innis Samaariyaa keessa jiraatee waggaa kudhan bulche.
18 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh not he turned aside from on [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel all days his.
Innis fuula Waaqayyoo duratti waan hamaa hojjete. Bara biyya bulchaa ture guutuus cubbuu Yerobiʼaam ilma Nebaat kan inni akka Israaʼel hojjetu godhe sana irraa hin deebine.
19 He came Pul [the] king of Assyria on the land and he gave Menahem to Pul a thousand talent[s] of silver to be hands his with him to strengthen the kingdom in hand his.
Ergasiis Phuuli mootichi Asoor biyyattiitti ni duule; Menaaheem immoo akka gargaarsa isaa argate aangoo ofii isaa jalatti mootummaa turfatuuf meetii taalaantii kuma tokko kenneef.
20 And he brought out Menahem the silver on Israel on all [the] mighty [men] of wealth to give [it] to [the] king of Assyria fifty shekels silver to a man one and he returned [the] king of Assyria and not he remained there in the land.
Menaaheem maallaqa kana warruma Israaʼel baasise. Akka mootii Asooriif kennamuuf namni sooressi kam iyyuu meetii saqilii shantama baasuu qaba. Kanaafuu mootiin Asoor duubatti deebiʼee malee ergasii biyyattii keessa hin turre.
21 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Menahem and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

22 And he lay down Menahem with ancestors his and he became king Pekahiah son his in place of him.
Menaaheemis abbootii isaa wajjin boqote. Ilmi isaa Pheqaayaan iddoo isaa buʼee mootii taʼe.
23 In year fifty year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Pekahiah [the] son of Menahem over Israel in Samaria two years.
Bara Azaariyaa mooticha Yihuudaa keessa waggaa shantammaffaatti Pheqaayaan ilmi Menaaheem Samaariyaa keessatti mootii Israaʼel taʼee waggaa lama bulche.
24 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh not he turned aside from [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel.
Pheqaayaan fuula Waaqayyoo duratti waan hamaa hojjete. Inni cubbuu Yerobiʼaam ilma Nebaat kan inni akka Israaʼel hojjetu godhe sana irraa hin deebine.
25 And he conspired on him Pekah [the] son of Remaliah officer his and he struck down him in Samaria in [the] fortress of [the] house of (the king *Q(K)*) with Argob and with Arieh and [were] with him fifty man from [the] sons of [the] Gileadites and he killed him and he became king in place of him.
Ajajjoota isaa ol aantota keessaa Pheqaan ilmi Remaaliyaa isatti malate. Innis namoota Giliʼaad keessaa nama shantama fudhatee fiixee masaraa mootummaa kan Samaariyaa keessaa irratti Pheqaayaa, Argobbii fi Ariyyee ajjeese. Pheqaanis akkasiin Pheqaayaa ajjeesee iddoo isaa mootii taʼe.
26 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Pekahiah and all that he did there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

27 In year fifty and two year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Pekah [the] son of Remaliah over Israel in Samaria twenty year[s].
Bara Azaariyaa mooticha Yihuudaa keessaa waggaa shantamii lammaffaatti, Pheqaan ilmi Remaaliyaa Samaariyaa keessatti mootii Israaʼel taʼee waggaa digdama bulche.
28 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh not he turned aside from [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel.
Innis fuula Waaqayyoo duratti waan hamaa hojjete. Cubbuu Yerobiʼaam ilma Nebaat kan inni akka Israaʼel hojjetu godhe sana irraa hin deebine.
29 In [the] days of Pekah [the] king of Israel he came Tiglath-pileser [the] king of Assyria and he took Ijon and Abel Beth Maacah and Janoah and Kedesh and Hazor and Gilead and Galilee towards all [the] land of Naphtali and he took into exile them Assyria towards.
Bara Pheqaa mooticha Israaʼel keessa Tiiglaat Phileeser mootichi Asoor dhufee Iiyoon, Abeel Beet Maʼaakaa, Yaanoʼaa, Qaadeshii fi Haazoor, Giliʼaadii fi Galiilaa, biyya Niftaalem hundas walumatti qabatee namootas guuree Asooritti geesse.
30 And he conspired a conspiracy Hoshea [the] son of Elah on Pekah [the] son of Remaliah and he struck down him and he killed him and he became king in place of him in year twenty of Jotham [the] son of Uzziah.
Ergasiis Hoosheeʼaa ilmi Eelaa, Pheqaa ilma Remaaliyaatti malate. Innis lolee isa ajjeesee bara mootummaa Yootaam ilma Uziyaan keessaa waggaa digdammaffaatti iddoo isaa mootii taʼe.
31 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Pekah and all that he did there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

32 In year two of Pekah [the] son of Remaliah [the] king of Israel he became king Jotham [the] son of Uzziah [the] king of Judah.
Bara Pheqaa ilma Remaaliyaa mooticha Israaʼel keessa waggaa lammaffaatti Yootaam ilmi Uziyaan mooticha Yihuudaa mootii taʼee bulchuu jalqabe.
33 A son of twenty and five year[s] he was when became king he and six-teen year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Jerusha [the] daughter of Zadok.

34 And he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Uzziah father his he did.

35 Only the high places not they were removed still the people [were] sacrificing and [were] making smoke at the high places he he built [the] gate of [the] house of Yahweh upper.
Taʼus iddoowwan sagadaa kanneen gaarran irraa hin diigamne ture. Namoonnis ittuma fufanii aarsaa dhiʼeessaa ixaanas achitti aarsaa turan. Yootaam Karra mana qulqullummaa Waaqayyoo kan Ol aanu deebisee ijaare.
36 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jotham which he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.
Wantoonni bara mootummaa Yootaam keessaa hojjetaman kanneen biraatii fi wantoonni inni hojjete kitaaba seenaa mootota Yihuudaa keessatti barreeffameera mitii?
37 In the days those he began Yahweh to send in Judah Rezin [the] king of Aram and Pekah [the] son of Remaliah.
Bara sana keessa Waaqayyo Reziin mooticha Sooriyaatii fi Pheqaa ilma Remaaliyaa Yihuudaatti kakaasuu jalqabe.
38 And he lay down Jotham with ancestors his and he was buried with ancestors his in [the] city of David ancestor his and he became king Ahaz son his in place of him.
Yootaam abbootii isaa wajjin boqotee Magaalaa Daawit, magaalaa abbaa isaa keessatti isaanuma biratti ni awwaalame. Ilmi isaa Aahaaz iddoo isaa buʼee mootii taʼe.
