< 2 Kings 15 >
1 In year twenty and seven year of Jeroboam [the] king of Israel he became king Azariah [the] son of Amaziah [the] king of Judah.
Nʼafọ nke iri abụọ na asaa nke ọchịchị Jeroboam nʼIzrel ka Azaraya nwa Amazaya bidoro ịchị dịka eze na Juda.
2 A son of six-teen year[s] he was when became king he and fifty and two year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Jecholiah from Jerusalem.
Ọ gbara afọ iri na isii mgbe ọ malitere ị bụ eze. Ọ chịkwara na Jerusalem iri afọ ise na abụọ. Aha nne ya bụ Jekolaya, onye Jerusalem.
3 And he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Amaziah father his.
O soro nzọ ụkwụ nna ya bụ Amazaya, mee ihe ziri ezi nʼanya Onyenwe anyị.
4 Only the high places not they were removed still the people [were] sacrificing and [were] making smoke at the high places.
Kama dịka eze ndị ọzọ, o wezugaghị ebe ịchụ aja dị nʼelu ugwu; ndị mmadụ gara nʼihu na-achụ aja nsure ọkụ na aja na-esi isi ụtọ nʼebe ahụ.
5 And he struck Yahweh the king and he was having a skin disease until [the] day of death his and he dwelt in [the] house of separateness and Jotham [the] son of the king [was] over the house judging [the] people of the land.
Onyenwe anyị tiri eze ihe otiti ọrịa ekpenta ruo ụbọchị ọnwụ ya. O biri nʼụlọ ewupụrụ iche. Jotam nwa nwoke eze ghọrọ onye nlekọta ụlọeze na-achịkwa ndị ala ahụ.
6 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Azariah and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.
Ma banyere ihe ndị ọzọ niile mere nʼoge ọchịchị Azaraya, na ihe niile o mere, ọ bụ na e deghị ha nʼakwụkwọ akụkọ ihe mere nʼoge ndị eze Juda?
7 And he lay down Azariah with ancestors his and people buried him with ancestors his in [the] city of David and he became king Jotham son his in place of him.
Azaraya soro ndị nna nna ya dina nʼọnwụ, e lie ya nso nʼebe e liri ha, nʼime obodo Devid. Jotam nwa ya ghọrọ eze nʼọnọdụ ya.
8 In year thirty and eight year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Zechariah [the] son of Jeroboam over Israel in Samaria six months.
Nʼafọ nke iri atọ na asatọ nke ọchịchị eze Azaraya bụ eze Juda, ka Zekaraya, nwa Jeroboam ghọrọ eze Izrel na Sameria. Ọ chịrị ọnwa isii.
9 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh just as they had done ancestors his not he turned aside from [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel.
Dịka ndị nna ya bu ya ụzọ si mee, Zekaraya mere ihe jọrọ njọ nʼanya Onyenwe anyị. O mekwara dịka Jeroboam nwa Nebat, onye dubara ndị Izrel na mmehie ịkpọ isiala nye chi ọzọ.
10 And he conspired on him Shallum [the] son of Jabesh and he struck down him (before *LAB(h)*) [the] people and he killed him and he became king in place of him.
Shalum nwa Jebesh, na ndị ọzọ, gbara izu ọjọọ megide ya, tigbuo ya nʼihu ndị Izrel niile. Ọ ghọkwara eze mgbe Zekaraya nwụrụ.
11 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Zechariah there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
Akụkọ metụtara ihe ndị ọzọ mere mgbe Zekaraya bụ eze, e deghị ha nʼakwụkwọ akụkọ ihe ndị eze Izrel mere nʼụbọchị ndụ ha.
12 It [was] [the] word of Yahweh which he had spoken to Jehu saying descendants of a fourth [generation] they will sit of you on [the] throne of Israel and it was thus.
Ya mere, okwu ahụ Onyenwe anyị gwara Jehu mezuru, nke bụ: “Ụmụ ụmụ gị ga-anọkwasị nʼocheeze Izrel ruo nʼọgbọ nke anọ ha.”
13 Shallum [the] son of Jabesh he became king in year thirty and nine year of Uzziah [the] king of Judah and he reigned a month of days in Samaria.
Shalum nwa Jebesh malitere ịbụ eze nʼafọ nke iri atọ na itoolu nke ọchịchị Uzaya eze Juda. Ọ chịrị otu ọnwa na Sameria.
14 And he went up Menahem [the] son of Gadi from Tirzah and he came Samaria and he struck down Shallum [the] son of Jabesh in Samaria and he killed him and he became king in place of him.
Menahem nwa Gadi sitere nʼobodo Tịaza bịaruo Sameria gbuo Shalum nwa Jebesh ghọọ eze nʼọnọdụ ya.
15 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Shallum and conspiracy his which he conspired there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
Akụkọ ndị ọzọ gbasara Shalum na izu ọjọọ ya, e deghị ha nʼakwụkwọ ihe mere nʼoge ndị eze Izrel na-achị.
16 Then he struck Menahem Tiphsah and all [those] who [were] in it and territories its from Tirzah for not it opened and he struck [it] all pregnant [women] its he ripped open.
Nʼoge ahụ, Menahem sitere na Tịaza buso obodo Tipsa agha, na onye ọbụla bi nʼobodo ahụ na gburugburu ya nʼihi na ha ekweghị emeghe ọnụ ụzọ ama ha. O tigburu Tifsa kwakọrọ ihe niile, bọwakwaa afọ ndị inyom niile dị ime.
17 In year thirty and nine year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Menahem [the] son of Gadi over Israel ten years in Samaria.
Nʼafọ iri atọ na itoolu nke Azaraya, eze Juda, Menahem nwa Gadi ghọrọ eze ọhụrụ ndị Izrel. Ọ chịrị afọ iri dịka eze na Sameria.
18 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh not he turned aside from on [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel all days his.
O mere ihe jọrọ njọ nʼanya Onyenwe anyị. Nʼoge ọchịchị ya, o sighị na mmehie Jeroboam nwa Nebat wezuga onwe ya, bụ nke o mere ka Izrel mehie.
19 He came Pul [the] king of Assyria on the land and he gave Menahem to Pul a thousand talent[s] of silver to be hands his with him to strengthen the kingdom in hand his.
Mgbe ahụ, Pul eze Asịrịa busoro ala ahụ agha. Menahem nyere ya otu puku talenti ọlaọcha, ime ka Pul kwagide ọchịchị ya, na ime ka aka ya siekwa ike nʼalaeze Izrel.
20 And he brought out Menahem the silver on Israel on all [the] mighty [men] of wealth to give [it] to [the] king of Assyria fifty shekels silver to a man one and he returned [the] king of Assyria and not he remained there in the land.
Menahem si nʼaka ndị Izrel nweta ego a. Onye ọgaranya ọbụla tụrụ iri shekel ọlaọcha ise nke e nyere eze Asịrịa. Mgbe eze Asịrịa natachara ọlaọcha ndị a, o si nʼala ahụ pụọ, ọ nọgidekwaghị nʼala ahụ.
21 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Menahem and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
Akụkọ banyere Menahem na ihe niile o mere, e deghị ha nʼakwụkwọ akụkọ ihe ndị eze Izrel mere nʼụbọchị ndụ ha?
22 And he lay down Menahem with ancestors his and he became king Pekahiah son his in place of him.
Menahem sooro ndị nna nna ya ha dina nʼọnwụ, Pekahaya nwa ya ghọrọ eze nʼọnọdụ ya.
23 In year fifty year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Pekahiah [the] son of Menahem over Israel in Samaria two years.
Nʼafọ nke iri ise, nke ọchịchị eze Azaraya na Juda, ka Pekahaya nwa Menahem bidoro ịchị dịka eze nʼIzrel. Afọ abụọ ka ọ chịrị nʼime Sameria.
24 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh not he turned aside from [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel.
Ma Pekahaya mere ihe ọjọọ nʼanya Onyenwe anyị. O sighị na mmehie niile nke Jeroboam nwa Nebat wezuga onwe ya, bụ nke o jiri mee ka Izrel mehie.
25 And he conspired on him Pekah [the] son of Remaliah officer his and he struck down him in Samaria in [the] fortress of [the] house of (the king *Q(K)*) with Argob and with Arieh and [were] with him fifty man from [the] sons of [the] Gileadites and he killed him and he became king in place of him.
Ma Peka nwa Remalaya, otu nʼime ndịisi agha eze na iri ndị ikom ise ọzọ si Gilead gbara izu megide ya, gbuo ya nʼụlọeze dị nʼime Sameria. Ha gbukwara Agob na Arie nʼoge a ha gburu Pekahaya. Emesịa, Peka ghọrọ eze nʼọnọdụ ya.
26 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Pekahiah and all that he did there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

27 In year fifty and two year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Pekah [the] son of Remaliah over Israel in Samaria twenty year[s].
Nʼafọ nke iri ise na abụọ nke ọchịchị Azaraya eze Juda ka Peka nwa Remalaya ghọrọ eze Izrel nʼobodo Sameria. Ọ chịrị dịka eze iri afọ abụọ.
28 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh not he turned aside from [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel.
O mere ihe jọrọ njọ nʼanya Onyenwe anyị. O fere chi ọzọ ofufe, o sighị na mmehie Jeroboam nwa Nebat wezuga onwe ya, bụ mmehie nke o dubara ndị Izrel nʼime ya.
29 In [the] days of Pekah [the] king of Israel he came Tiglath-pileser [the] king of Assyria and he took Ijon and Abel Beth Maacah and Janoah and Kedesh and Hazor and Gilead and Galilee towards all [the] land of Naphtali and he took into exile them Assyria towards.
Nʼoge Peka bụ eze Izrel, ka Tiglat-Pilesa, eze Asịrịa bịara were Ijon, Ebel-Bet-Maaka, Janoa, Kedesh, Hazọ, Gilead, Galili na ala ndị Naftalị niile. Ọ chụpụrụ ndị mmadụ niile mee ka ha gaa biri nʼAsịrịa.
30 And he conspired a conspiracy Hoshea [the] son of Elah on Pekah [the] son of Remaliah and he struck down him and he killed him and he became king in place of him in year twenty of Jotham [the] son of Uzziah.
Nʼoge ahụ, Hoshea nwa Elaa gbara izu ọjọọ megide Peka nwa Remalaya gbuo ya, bụrụ eze nʼọnọdụ ya. Ọ malitere ịbụ eze nʼafọ nke iri abụọ nke ọchịchị eze Jotam nwa Uzaya.
31 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Pekah and all that he did there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
Akụkọ banyere Peka na ihe niile o mere, e deghị ha nʼakwụkwọ akụkọ ihe ndị eze Izrel niile mere nʼụbọchị ndụ ha?
32 In year two of Pekah [the] son of Remaliah [the] king of Israel he became king Jotham [the] son of Uzziah [the] king of Judah.
Nʼafọ nke abụọ nke ọchịchị Peka nwa Remalaya eze Izrel ka Jotam nwa Ụzaya eze Juda malitere ọchịchị ya.
33 A son of twenty and five year[s] he was when became king he and six-teen year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Jerusha [the] daughter of Zadok.
Ọ gbara iri afọ abụọ na ise mgbe ọ ghọrọ eze. Ọ chịrị afọ iri na isii na Jerusalem. Aha nne ya bụ Jerusha, nwa Zadọk.
34 And he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Uzziah father his he did.
O mere ihe ziri ezi nʼanya Onyenwe anyị dịka nna ya Ụzaya mere.
35 Only the high places not they were removed still the people [were] sacrificing and [were] making smoke at the high places he he built [the] gate of [the] house of Yahweh upper.
Kama, o wezugaghị ebe ịchụ aja dị nʼelu ugwu, ndị mmadụ gara nʼihu na-achụ aja nsure ọkụ dị iche iche na aja na-esi isi ụtọ nʼebe ahụ. Jotam wugharịrị Ọnụ Ụzọ ama nke dị Elu nke ụlọnsọ ukwu Onyenwe anyị.
36 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jotham which he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.
Ma banyere ihe ndị ọzọ niile nke oge ọchịchị Jotam na ihe o mere, ọ bụ na e deghị ha nʼakwụkwọ akụkọ ihe mere nʼoge ndị eze Juda?
37 In the days those he began Yahweh to send in Judah Rezin [the] king of Aram and Pekah [the] son of Remaliah.
(Nʼụbọchị ndị ahụ, Onyenwe anyị malitere izite Rezin eze ndị Aram na Peka nwa Remalaya, imegide ndị Juda.)
38 And he lay down Jotham with ancestors his and he was buried with ancestors his in [the] city of David ancestor his and he became king Ahaz son his in place of him.
Jotam sooro ndị nna nna ya ha dina nʼọnwụ, e lie ya nʼebe e liri ha, nʼobodo Devid, bụ obodo nna ya. Ehaz nwa ya nwoke ghọrọ eze nʼọnọdụ ya.
