2 Kings 15

1 In year twenty and seven year of Jeroboam [the] king of Israel he became king Azariah [the] son of Amaziah [the] king of Judah.

Εν τω εικοστώ εβδόμω έτει του Ιεροβοάμ βασιλέως του Ισραήλ εβασίλευσεν ο Αζαρίας, υιός του Αμασίου, βασιλέως του Ιούδα.

2 A son of six-teen year[s] he was when became king he and fifty and two year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Jecholiah from Jerusalem.

Δεκαέξ ετών ηλικίας ήτο ότε εβασίλευσε, και εβασίλευσε πεντήκοντα δύο έτη εν Ιερουσαλήμ· το δε όνομα της μητρός αυτού ήτο Ιεχολία, εξ Ιερουσαλήμ.

3 And he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Amaziah father his.

Και έπραξε το ευθές ενώπιον του Κυρίου, κατά πάντα όσα είχε πράξει Αμασίας ο πατήρ αυτού.

4 Only the high places not they were removed still the people [were] sacrificing and [were] making smoke at the high places.

Πλην οι υψηλοί τόποι δεν αφηρέθησαν· ο λαός έτι εθυσίαζε και εθυμίαζεν επί τους υψηλούς τόπους.

5 And he struck Yahweh the king and he was having a skin disease until [the] day of death his and he dwelt in [the] house of separateness and Jotham [the] son of the king [was] over the house judging [the] people of the land.

Και επάταξεν ο Κύριος τον βασιλέα, και ήτο λεπρός έως της ημέρας του θανάτου αυτού και κατώκει εν οικία αποκεχωρισμένη. Ήτο δε επί του οίκου Ιωθάμ ο υιός του βασιλέως, κρίνων τον λαόν της γης.

6 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Azariah and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.

Αι δε λοιπαί πράξεις του Αζαρίου και πάντα όσα έπραξε δεν είναι γεγραμμένα εν τω βιβλίω των χρονικών των βασιλέων του Ιούδα;

7 And he lay down Azariah with ancestors his and people buried him with ancestors his in [the] city of David and he became king Jotham son his in place of him.

Και εκοιμήθη ο Αζαρίας μετά των πατέρων αυτού· και έθαψαν αυτόν μετά των πατέρων αυτού εν πόλει Δαβίδ· εβασίλευσε δε αντ' αυτού Ιωθάμ ο υιός αυτού.

8 In year thirty and eight year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Zechariah [the] son of Jeroboam over Israel in Samaria six months.

Εν τω τριακοστώ ογδόω έτει του Αζαρίου βασιλέως του Ιούδα, Ζαχαρίας ο υιός του Ιεροβοάμ εβασίλευσεν επί τον Ισραήλ εν Σαμαρεία, εξ μήνας.

9 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh just as they had done ancestors his not he turned aside from [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel.

Και έπραξε πονηρά ενώπιον του Κυρίου, ως είχον πράξει οι πατέρες αυτού· δεν απεμακρύνθη από των αμαρτιών του Ιεροβοάμ υιού του Ναβάτ, όστις έκαμε τον Ισραήλ να αμαρτήση.

10 And he conspired on him Shallum [the] son of Jabesh and he struck down him (before *LAB(h)*) [the] people and he killed him and he became king in place of him.

Και συνώμοσε κατ' αυτού Σαλλούμ ο υιός του Ιαβείς, και επάταξεν αυτόν κατέμπροσθεν του λαού και εθανάτωσεν αυτόν και εβασίλευσεν αντ' αυτού.

11 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Zechariah there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

Αι δε λοιπαί πράξεις του Ζαχαρίου, ιδού, είναι γεγραμμέναι εν τω βιβλίω των χρονικών των βασιλέων του Ισραήλ.

12 It [was] [the] word of Yahweh which he had spoken to Jehu saying descendants of a fourth [generation] they will sit of you on [the] throne of Israel and it was thus.

Ούτος ήτο ο λόγος του Κυρίου, τον οποίον ελάλησε προς τον Ιηού, λέγων, Οι υιοί σου θέλουσι καθίσει επί του θρόνου του Ισραήλ έως τετάρτης γενεάς. Και έγεινεν ούτως.

13 Shallum [the] son of Jabesh he became king in year thirty and nine year of Uzziah [the] king of Judah and he reigned a month of days in Samaria.

Εβασίλευσε δε Σαλλούμ ο υιός του Ιαβείς εν τω τριακοστώ εννάτω έτει του Οζίου βασιλέως του Ιούδα, και εβασίλευσεν ένα μήνα εν Σαμαρεία.

14 And he went up Menahem [the] son of Gadi from Tirzah and he came Samaria and he struck down Shallum [the] son of Jabesh in Samaria and he killed him and he became king in place of him.

Και ανέβη Μεναήμ ο υιός του Γαδεί από Θερσά, και ήλθεν εις Σαμάρειαν και εκτύπησε τον Σαλλούμ τον υιόν του Ιαβείς εν Σαμαρεία, και εθανάτωσεν αυτόν και εβασίλευσεν αντ' αυτού.

15 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Shallum and conspiracy his which he conspired there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

Αι δε λοιπαί πράξεις του Σαλλούμ, και η συνωμοσία αυτού την οποίαν έκαμεν, ιδού, είναι γεγραμμέναι εν τω βιβλίω των χρονικών των βασιλέων του Ισραήλ.

16 Then he struck Menahem Tiphsah and all [those] who [were] in it and territories its from Tirzah for not it opened and he struck [it] all pregnant [women] its he ripped open.

Τότε επάταξεν ο Μεναήμ την Θαψά και πάντας τους εν αυτή και τα όρια αυτής από Θερσά· επειδή δεν ήνοιξαν εις αυτόν, διά τούτο επάταξεν αυτήν· και πάσας τας εν αυτή εγκυμονούσας διέσχισεν.

17 In year thirty and nine year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Menahem [the] son of Gadi over Israel ten years in Samaria.

Εν τω τριακοστώ εννάτω έτει του Αζαρίου βασιλέως του Ιούδα, Μεναήμ ο υιός του Γαδεί εβασίλευσεν επί τον Ισραήλ, δέκα έτη εν Σαμαρεία.

18 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh not he turned aside from on [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel all days his.

Και έπραξε πονηρά ενώπιον του Κυρίου· δεν απεμακρύνθη κατά πάσας τας ημέρας αυτού από των αμαρτιών του Ιεροβοάμ υιού του Ναβάτ, όστις έκαμε τον Ισραήλ να αμαρτήση.

19 He came Pul [the] king of Assyria on the land and he gave Menahem to Pul a thousand talent[s] of silver to be hands his with him to strengthen the kingdom in hand his.

Τότε ήλθεν ο Φούλ βασιλεύς της Ασσυρίας εναντίον της γης. και έδωκεν ο Μεναήμ εις τον Φούλ χίλια τάλαντα αργυρίου, διά να ήναι μετ' αυτού η χειρ αυτού εις το να ενισχύση την βασιλείαν εν τη χειρί αυτού.

20 And he brought out Menahem the silver on Israel on all [the] mighty [men] of wealth to give [it] to [the] king of Assyria fifty shekels silver to a man one and he returned [the] king of Assyria and not he remained there in the land.

Και απέσπασεν ο Μεναήμ το αργύριον από του Ισραήλ, από πάντων των δυνατών εις πλούτη, πεντήκοντα σίκλους αργυρίου αφ' εκάστου, διά να δώση εις τον βασιλέα της Ασσυρίας. Και επέστρεψεν ο βασιλεύς της Ασσυρίας και δεν εστάθη εκεί εν τη γη.

21 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Menahem and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

Αι δε λοιπαί πράξεις του Μεναήμ και πάντα όσα έπραξε, δεν είναι γεγραμμένα εν τω βιβλίω των χρονικών των βασιλέων του Ισραήλ;

22 And he lay down Menahem with ancestors his and he became king Pekahiah son his in place of him.

Και εκοιμήθη ο Μεναήμ μετά των πατέρων αυτού· εβασίλευσε δε αντ' αυτού Φακείας ο υιός αυτού.

23 In year fifty year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Pekahiah [the] son of Menahem over Israel in Samaria two years.

Εν τω πεντηκοστώ έτει του Αζαρίου βασιλέως του Ιούδα, Φακείας ο υιός του Μεναήμ εβασίλευσεν επί τον Ισραήλ εν Σαμαρεία, δύο έτη.

24 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh not he turned aside from [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel.

Και έπραξε πονηρά ενώπιον του Κυρίου· δεν απεμακρύνθη από των αμαρτιών του Ιεροβοάμ υιού του Ναβάτ, όστις έκαμε τον Ισραήλ να αμαρτήση.

25 And he conspired on him Pekah [the] son of Remaliah officer his and he struck down him in Samaria in [the] fortress of [the] house of (the king *Q(K)*) with Argob and with Arieh and [were] with him fifty man from [the] sons of [the] Gileadites and he killed him and he became king in place of him.

Και συνώμοσε κατ' αυτού ο Φεκά υιός του Ρεμαλία, ο στρατηγός αυτού, και επάταξεν αυτόν εν Σαμαρεία, εν τω παλατίω του οίκου του βασιλέως, μετά του Αργόβ και Αριέ, έχων μεθ' εαυτού και πεντήκοντα άνδρας εκ των Γαλααδιτών· και εθανάτωσεν αυτόν και εβασίλευσεν αντ' αυτού.

26 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Pekahiah and all that he did there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

Αι δε λοιπαί πράξεις του Φακείου και πάντα όσα έπραξεν, ιδού, είναι γεγραμμένα εν τω βιβλίω των χρονικών των βασιλέων του Ισραήλ.

27 In year fifty and two year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Pekah [the] son of Remaliah over Israel in Samaria twenty year[s].

Εν τω πεντηκοστώ δευτέρω έτει του Αζαρίου βασιλέως του Ιούδα, Φεκά ο υιός του Ρεμαλία εβασίλευσεν επί τον Ισραήλ εν Σαμαρεία, είκοσι έτη.

28 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh not he turned aside from [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel.

Και έπραξε πονηρά ενώπιον του Κυρίου· δεν απεμακρύνθη από των αμαρτιών του Ιεροβοάμ υιού του Ναβάτ, όστις έκαμε τον Ισραήλ να αμαρτήση.

29 In [the] days of Pekah [the] king of Israel he came Tiglath-pileser [the] king of Assyria and he took Ijon and Abel Beth Maacah and Janoah and Kedesh and Hazor and Gilead and Galilee towards all [the] land of Naphtali and he took into exile them Assyria towards.

Εν ταις ημέραις του Φεκά βασιλέως του Ισραήλ, ήλθεν ο Θεγλάθ-φελασάρ βασιλεύς της Ασσυρίας, και εκυρίευσε την Ιϊών και την Αβέλ-βαίθ-μααχά και την Ιανώχ, και την Κεδές και την Ασώρ και την Γαλαάδ και την Γαλιλαίαν, πάσαν την γην Νεφθαλί, και μετώκισεν αυτούς εις Ασσυρίαν.

30 And he conspired a conspiracy Hoshea [the] son of Elah on Pekah [the] son of Remaliah and he struck down him and he killed him and he became king in place of him in year twenty of Jotham [the] son of Uzziah.

Και έκαμεν Ωσηέ ο υιός του Ηλά συνωμοσίαν κατά του Φεκά υιού του Ρεμαλία, και επάταξεν αυτόν και εθανάτωσεν αυτόν και εβασίλευσεν αντ' αυτού, εν τω εικοστώ έτει του Ιωθάμ υιού του Οζίου.

31 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Pekah and all that he did there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

Αι δε λοιπαί πράξεις του Φεκά, και πάντα όσα έπραξεν, ιδού, είναι γεγραμμένα εν τω βιβλίω των χρονικών των βασιλέων του Ισραήλ.

32 In year two of Pekah [the] son of Remaliah [the] king of Israel he became king Jotham [the] son of Uzziah [the] king of Judah.

Εν τω δευτέρω έτει του Φεκά υιού του Ρεμαλία βασιλέως του Ισραήλ, εβασίλευσεν ο Ιωθάμ υιός του Οζίου βασιλέως του Ιούδα.

33 A son of twenty and five year[s] he was when became king he and six-teen year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Jerusha [the] daughter of Zadok.

Εικοσιπέντε ετών ηλικίας ήτο ότε εβασίλευσε, και εβασίλευσε δεκαέξ έτη εν Ιερουσαλήμ· το δε όνομα της μητρός αυτού ήτο Ιερουσά θυγάτηρ του Σαδώκ.

34 And he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Uzziah father his he did.

Και έπραξε το ευθές ενώπιον Κυρίου· έπραξε κατά πάντα όσα έπραξεν Οζίας ο πατήρ αυτού.

35 Only the high places not they were removed still the people [were] sacrificing and [were] making smoke at the high places he he built [the] gate of [the] house of Yahweh upper.

Πλην οι υψηλοί τόποι δεν αφηρέθησαν· ο λαός έτι εθυσίαζε και εθυμίαζεν επί τους υψηλούς τόπους. Ούτος ωκοδόμησε την υψηλήν πύλην του οίκου του Κυρίου.

36 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jotham which he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.

Αι δε λοιπαί πράξεις του Ιωθάμ και πάντα όσα έπραξε, δεν είναι γεγραμμένα εν τω βιβλίω των χρονικών των βασιλέων του Ιούδα;

37 In the days those he began Yahweh to send in Judah Rezin [the] king of Aram and Pekah [the] son of Remaliah.

Εν ταις ημέραις εκείναις ήρχισεν ο Κύριος να εξαποστέλλη κατά του Ιούδα τον Ρεσίν βασιλέα της Συρίας και τον Φεκά υιόν του Ρεμαλία.

38 And he lay down Jotham with ancestors his and he was buried with ancestors his in [the] city of David ancestor his and he became king Ahaz son his in place of him.

Ο δε Ιωθάμ εκοιμήθη μετά των πατέρων αυτού, και ετάφη μετά των πατέρων αυτού εν πόλει Δαβίδ του πατρός αυτού· εβασίλευσε δε αντ' αυτού Άχαζ ο υιός αυτού.
