2 Kings 15
1 In year twenty and seven year of Jeroboam [the] king of Israel he became king Azariah [the] son of Amaziah [the] king of Judah.
La vingt-septième année de Jéroboam, roi d’Israël, Azaria, fils d’Amatsia, roi de Juda, régna.
2 A son of six-teen year[s] he was when became king he and fifty and two year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Jecholiah from Jerusalem.
Il avait seize ans lorsqu’il devint roi, et il régna cinquante-deux ans à Jérusalem. Sa mère s’appelait Jecolia, de Jérusalem.
3 And he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Amaziah father his.
Il fit ce qui est droit aux yeux de l’Éternel, entièrement comme avait fait Amatsia, son père.
4 Only the high places not they were removed still the people [were] sacrificing and [were] making smoke at the high places.
Seulement, les hauts lieux ne disparurent point; le peuple offrait encore des sacrifices et des parfums sur les hauts lieux.
5 And he struck Yahweh the king and he was having a skin disease until [the] day of death his and he dwelt in [the] house of separateness and Jotham [the] son of the king [was] over the house judging [the] people of the land.
L’Éternel frappa le roi, qui fut lépreux jusqu’au jour de sa mort et demeura dans une maison écartée. Et Jotham, fils du roi, était à la tête de la maison et jugeait le peuple du pays.
6 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Azariah and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.
Le reste des actions d’Azaria, et tout ce qu’il a fait, cela n’est-il pas écrit dans le livre des Chroniques des rois de Juda?
7 And he lay down Azariah with ancestors his and people buried him with ancestors his in [the] city of David and he became king Jotham son his in place of him.
Azaria se coucha avec ses pères, et on l’enterra avec ses pères dans la ville de David. Et Jotham, son fils, régna à sa place.
8 In year thirty and eight year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Zechariah [the] son of Jeroboam over Israel in Samaria six months.
La trente-huitième année d’Azaria, roi de Juda, Zacharie, fils de Jéroboam, régna sur Israël à Samarie. Il régna six mois.
9 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh just as they had done ancestors his not he turned aside from [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel.
Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l’Éternel, comme avaient fait ses pères; il ne se détourna point des péchés de Jéroboam, fils de Nebath, qui avait fait pécher Israël.
10 And he conspired on him Shallum [the] son of Jabesh and he struck down him (before *LAB(h)*) [the] people and he killed him and he became king in place of him.
Schallum, fils de Jabesch, conspira contre lui, le frappa devant le peuple, et le fit mourir; et il régna à sa place.
11 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Zechariah there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
Le reste des actions de Zacharie, cela est écrit dans le livre des Chroniques des rois d’Israël.
12 It [was] [the] word of Yahweh which he had spoken to Jehu saying descendants of a fourth [generation] they will sit of you on [the] throne of Israel and it was thus.
Ainsi s’accomplit ce que l’Éternel avait déclaré à Jéhu, en disant: Tes fils jusqu’à la quatrième génération seront assis sur le trône d’Israël.
13 Shallum [the] son of Jabesh he became king in year thirty and nine year of Uzziah [the] king of Judah and he reigned a month of days in Samaria.
Schallum, fils de Jabesch, régna la trente-neuvième année d’Ozias, roi de Juda. Il régna pendant un mois à Samarie.
14 And he went up Menahem [the] son of Gadi from Tirzah and he came Samaria and he struck down Shallum [the] son of Jabesh in Samaria and he killed him and he became king in place of him.
Menahem, fils de Gadi, monta de Thirtsa et vint à Samarie, frappa dans Samarie Schallum, fils de Jabesch, et le fit mourir; et il régna à sa place.
15 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Shallum and conspiracy his which he conspired there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
Le reste des actions de Schallum, et la conspiration qu’il forma, cela est écrit dans le livre des Chroniques des rois d’Israël.
16 Then he struck Menahem Tiphsah and all [those] who [were] in it and territories its from Tirzah for not it opened and he struck [it] all pregnant [women] its he ripped open.
Alors Menahem frappa Thiphsach et tous ceux qui y étaient, avec son territoire depuis Thirtsa; il la frappa parce qu’elle n’avait pas ouvert ses portes, et il fendit le ventre de toutes les femmes enceintes.
17 In year thirty and nine year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Menahem [the] son of Gadi over Israel ten years in Samaria.
La trente-neuvième année d’Azaria, roi de Juda, Menahem, fils de Gadi, régna sur Israël. Il régna dix ans à Samarie.
18 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh not he turned aside from on [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel all days his.
Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l’Éternel; il ne se détourna point, tant qu’il vécut, des péchés de Jéroboam, fils de Nebath, qui avait fait pécher Israël.
19 He came Pul [the] king of Assyria on the land and he gave Menahem to Pul a thousand talent[s] of silver to be hands his with him to strengthen the kingdom in hand his.
Pul, roi d’Assyrie, vint dans le pays; et Menahem donna à Pul mille talents d’argent, pour qu’il l’aidât à affermir la royauté entre ses mains.
20 And he brought out Menahem the silver on Israel on all [the] mighty [men] of wealth to give [it] to [the] king of Assyria fifty shekels silver to a man one and he returned [the] king of Assyria and not he remained there in the land.
Menahem leva cet argent sur tous ceux d’Israël qui avaient de la richesse, afin de le donner au roi d’Assyrie; il les taxa chacun à cinquante sicles d’argent. Le roi d’Assyrie s’en retourna, et ne s’arrêta pas alors dans le pays.
21 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Menahem and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
Le reste des actions de Menahem, et tout ce qu’il a fait, cela n’est-il pas écrit dans le livre des Chroniques des rois d’Israël?
22 And he lay down Menahem with ancestors his and he became king Pekahiah son his in place of him.
Menahem se coucha avec ses pères. Et Pekachia, son fils, régna à sa place.
23 In year fifty year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Pekahiah [the] son of Menahem over Israel in Samaria two years.
La cinquantième année d’Azaria, roi de Juda, Pekachia, fils de Menahem, régna sur Israël à Samarie. Il régna deux ans.
24 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh not he turned aside from [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel.
Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l’Éternel; il ne se détourna point des péchés de Jéroboam, fils de Nebath, qui avait fait pécher Israël.
25 And he conspired on him Pekah [the] son of Remaliah officer his and he struck down him in Samaria in [the] fortress of [the] house of (the king *Q(K)*) with Argob and with Arieh and [were] with him fifty man from [the] sons of [the] Gileadites and he killed him and he became king in place of him.
Pékach, fils de Remalia, son officier, conspira contre lui; il le frappa à Samarie, dans le palais de la maison du roi, de même qu’Argob et Arié; il avait avec lui cinquante hommes d’entre les fils des Galaadites. Il fit ainsi mourir Pekachia, et il régna à sa place.
26 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Pekahiah and all that he did there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
Le reste des actions de Pekachia, et tout ce qu’il a fait, cela est écrit dans le livre des Chroniques des rois d’Israël.
27 In year fifty and two year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Pekah [the] son of Remaliah over Israel in Samaria twenty year[s].
La cinquante-deuxième année d’Azaria, roi de Juda, Pékach, fils de Remalia, régna sur Israël à Samarie. Il régna vingt ans.
28 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh not he turned aside from [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel.
Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l’Éternel; il ne se détourna point des péchés de Jéroboam, fils de Nebath, qui avait fait pécher Israël.
29 In [the] days of Pekah [the] king of Israel he came Tiglath-pileser [the] king of Assyria and he took Ijon and Abel Beth Maacah and Janoah and Kedesh and Hazor and Gilead and Galilee towards all [the] land of Naphtali and he took into exile them Assyria towards.
Du temps de Pékach, roi d’Israël, Tiglath-Piléser, roi d’Assyrie, vint et prit Ijjon, Abel-Beth-Maaca, Janoach, Kédesch, Hatsor, Galaad et la Galilée, tout le pays de Nephthali, et il emmena captifs les habitants en Assyrie.
30 And he conspired a conspiracy Hoshea [the] son of Elah on Pekah [the] son of Remaliah and he struck down him and he killed him and he became king in place of him in year twenty of Jotham [the] son of Uzziah.
Osée, fils d’Éla, forma une conspiration contre Pékach, fils de Remalia, le frappa et le fit mourir; et il régna à sa place, la vingtième année de Jotham, fils d’Ozias.
31 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Pekah and all that he did there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
Le reste des actions de Pékach, et tout ce qu’il a fait, cela est écrit dans le livre des Chroniques des rois d’Israël.
32 In year two of Pekah [the] son of Remaliah [the] king of Israel he became king Jotham [the] son of Uzziah [the] king of Judah.
La seconde année de Pékach, fils de Remalia, roi d’Israël, Jotham, fils d’Ozias, roi de Juda, régna.
33 A son of twenty and five year[s] he was when became king he and six-teen year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Jerusha [the] daughter of Zadok.
Il avait vingt-cinq ans lorsqu’il devint roi, et il régna seize ans à Jérusalem. Sa mère s’appelait Jeruscha, fille de Tsadok.
34 And he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Uzziah father his he did.
Il fit ce qui est droit aux yeux de l’Éternel; il agit entièrement comme avait agi Ozias, son père.
35 Only the high places not they were removed still the people [were] sacrificing and [were] making smoke at the high places he he built [the] gate of [the] house of Yahweh upper.
Seulement, les hauts lieux ne disparurent point; le peuple offrait encore des sacrifices et des parfums sur les hauts lieux. Jotham bâtit la porte supérieure de la maison de l’Éternel.
36 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jotham which he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.
Le reste des actions de Jotham, et tout ce qu’il a fait, cela n’est-il pas écrit dans le livre des Chroniques des rois de Juda?
37 In the days those he began Yahweh to send in Judah Rezin [the] king of Aram and Pekah [the] son of Remaliah.
Dans ce temps-là, l’Éternel commença à envoyer contre Juda Retsin, roi de Syrie, et Pékach, fils de Remalia.
38 And he lay down Jotham with ancestors his and he was buried with ancestors his in [the] city of David ancestor his and he became king Ahaz son his in place of him.
Jotham se coucha avec ses pères, et il fut enterré avec ses pères dans la ville de David, son père. Et Achaz, son fils, régna à sa place.
