2 Kings 15

1 In year twenty and seven year of Jeroboam [the] king of Israel he became king Azariah [the] son of Amaziah [the] king of Judah.

١ وَفِي السَّنَةِ السَّابِعَةِ وَالْعِشْرِينَ مِنْ حُكْمِ يَرُبْعَامَ مَلِكِ إِسْرَائِيلَ، تَوَلَّى عَزَرْيَا بْنُ أَمَصْيَا عَرْشَ يَهُوذَا.

2 A son of six-teen year[s] he was when became king he and fifty and two year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Jecholiah from Jerusalem.

٢ وَكَانَ عُمْرُهُ سِتَّ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً حِينَ مَلَكَ، وَدَامَ حُكْمُهُ فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ اثْنَتَيْنِ وَخَمْسِينَ سَنَةً، وَاسْمُ أُمِّهِ يَكُلْيَا مِنْ أُورُشَلِيمَ.

3 And he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Amaziah father his.

٣ وَصَنَعَ مَا هُوَ صَالِحٌ فِي عَيْنَيِ الرَّبِّ عَلَى غِرَارِ أَبِيهِ أَمَصْيَا،

4 Only the high places not they were removed still the people [were] sacrificing and [were] making smoke at the high places.

٤ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَهْدِمِ الْمُرْتَفَعَاتِ. وَظَلَّ الشَّعْبُ يُقَرِّبُونَ عَلَيْهَا وَيُوْقِدُونَ.

5 And he struck Yahweh the king and he was having a skin disease until [the] day of death his and he dwelt in [the] house of separateness and Jotham [the] son of the king [was] over the house judging [the] people of the land.

٥ وَابْتَلَى الرَّبُّ عَزَرْيَا بِدَاءِ الْبَرَصِ إِلَى يَوْمِ وَفَاتِهِ، مِمَّا أَرْغَمَهُ عَلَى الإِقَامَةِ فِي بَيْتٍ مُنْعَزِلٍ، فَتَوَلَّى ابْنُهُ يُوثَامُ حُكْمَ الشَّعْبِ بِالنِّيَابَةِ عَنْهُ.

6 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Azariah and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.

٦ أَمَّا بَقِيَّةُ أَخْبَارِ عَزَرْيَا وَمُنْجَزَاتُهُ أَلَيْسَتْ هِي مُدَوَّنَةً فِي كِتَابِ أَخْبَاِر أَيَّامِ مُلُوكِ يَهُوذَا؟

7 And he lay down Azariah with ancestors his and people buried him with ancestors his in [the] city of David and he became king Jotham son his in place of him.

٧ ثُمَّ مَاتَ عَزَرْيَا وَدُفِنَ مَعَ آبَائِهِ فِي مَدِينَةِ دَاوُدَ، وَخَلَفَهُ ابْنُهُ يُوثَامُ.

8 In year thirty and eight year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Zechariah [the] son of Jeroboam over Israel in Samaria six months.

٨ وَفِي السَّنَةِ الثَّامِنَةِ والثَّلاثِينَ لِحُكْمِ عَزَرْيَا مَلِكِ يَهُوذَا، اعْتَلَى زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَرُبْعَامَ عَرْشَ إِسْرَائِيلَ فِي السَّامِرَةِ مُدَّةَ سِتَّةِ أَشْهُرٍ.

9 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh just as they had done ancestors his not he turned aside from [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel.

٩ وَارْتَكَبَ الشَّرَّ فِي عَيْنَيِ الرَّبِّ عَلَى غِرَارِ أَبَائِهِ وَلَمْ يَعْدِلْ عَنْ أَيٍّ مِنْ خَطَايَا يَرُبْعَامَ بْنِ نَبَاطَ الَّتِي اسْتَغْوَى بِها الإِسْرَائِيِليِّينَ فَأَخْطَأُوا.

10 And he conspired on him Shallum [the] son of Jabesh and he struck down him (before *LAB(h)*) [the] people and he killed him and he became king in place of him.

١٠ وَتَمَرَّدَ عَلَيْهِ شَلُّومُ بْنُ يَابِيشَ وَاغْتَالَهُ أَمَامَ الشَّعْبِ وَاغْتَصَبَ مِنْهُ الْمُلْكَ.

11 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Zechariah there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

١١ أَمَّا بَقِيَّةُ أَخْبَارِ زَكَرِيَّا فَهِيَ مُدَوَّنَةٌ فِي كِتَابِ أَخْبَارِ أَيَّامِ مُلُوكِ إِسْرَائِيلَ،

12 It [was] [the] word of Yahweh which he had spoken to Jehu saying descendants of a fourth [generation] they will sit of you on [the] throne of Israel and it was thus.

١٢ وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ تَحْقِيقاً لِكَلامِ الرَّبِّ الَّذِي وَعَدَ بِهِ يَاهُو قَائِلاً: «إِنَّ مِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِكَ حَتَّى الْجِيلِ الرَّابِعِ يَكُونُونَ مُلُوكاً عَلَى إِسْرَائِيلَ».

13 Shallum [the] son of Jabesh he became king in year thirty and nine year of Uzziah [the] king of Judah and he reigned a month of days in Samaria.

١٣ وَمَلَكَ شَلُّومُ بْنُ يَابِيشَ فِي السَّنَةِ التَّاسِعَةِ وَالثَّلاثِينَ مِنْ حُكْمِ عُزِّيَّا (عَزَرْيَا) مَلِكِ يَهُوذَا، وَدَامَ مُلْكُهُ مُدَّةَ شَهْرٍ وَاحِدٍ فِي السَّامِرَةِ.

14 And he went up Menahem [the] son of Gadi from Tirzah and he came Samaria and he struck down Shallum [the] son of Jabesh in Samaria and he killed him and he became king in place of him.

١٤ وَذَهَبَ مَنَحِيمُ بْنُ جَادِي مِنْ تِرْصَةَ إِلَى السَّامِرَةِ وَاغْتَالَ شَلُّومَ بْنَ يَابِيشَ، وَخَلَفَهُ عَلَى كُرْسِيِّ الْمَمْلَكَةِ.

15 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Shallum and conspiracy his which he conspired there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

١٥ أَمَّا بَقِيَّةُ أَخْبَارِ شَلُّومَ وَتَمَرُّدُهُ فَهِيَ مُدَوَّنَةٌ فِي كِتَابِ أَخْبَارِ أَيَّامِ مُلُوكِ إِسْرَائِيلَ.

16 Then he struck Menahem Tiphsah and all [those] who [were] in it and territories its from Tirzah for not it opened and he struck [it] all pregnant [women] its he ripped open.

١٦ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ هَاجَمَ مَنَحِيمُ تَفْصَحَ وَضَوَاحِيهَا، وَهَدَمَ مَا فِيهَا حَتَّى حُدُودِ تِرْصَةَ لأَنَّ أَهْلَهَا أَبَوْا أَنْ يَفْتَحُوا بَوَّابَاتِهَا لَهُ، وَشَقَّ بُطُونَ جَمِيعِ حَوَامِلِهَا.

17 In year thirty and nine year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Menahem [the] son of Gadi over Israel ten years in Samaria.

١٧ وَفِي السَّنَةِ التَّاسِعَةِ وَالثَّلاثِينَ لِحُكْمِ عَزَرْيَا مَلِكِ يَهُوذَا، اعْتَلَى مَنَحِيمُ بْنُ جَادِي عَرْشَ إِسْرَائِيلَ فِي السَّامِرَةِ لِمُدَّةِ عَشْرِ سِنِينَ،

18 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh not he turned aside from on [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel all days his.

١٨ وَارْتَكَبَ الشَّرَّ فِي عَيْنَيِ الرَّبِّ عَلَى غِرَارِ خَطَايَا يَرُبْعَامَ بْنِ نَبَاطَ الَّتِي اسْتَغْوَى بِها الإِسْرَائِيلِيِّينَ فَأَخْطَأُوا طَوَالَ أَيَّامِهِ.

19 He came Pul [the] king of Assyria on the land and he gave Menahem to Pul a thousand talent[s] of silver to be hands his with him to strengthen the kingdom in hand his.

١٩ وَأَغَارَ فُولُ مَلِكُ أَشُّورَ عَلَى الْبِلادِ، فَاسْتَرْضَاهُ مَنَحِيمُ بِأَلْفِ وَزْنَةٍ (نَحْوِ ثَلاثَةِ آلافٍ وَسِتِّ مِئَةِ كِيلُو جِرَامٍ) مِنَ الْفِضَّةِ لِيُوآزِرَهُ فِي تَثْبِيتِهِ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ.

20 And he brought out Menahem the silver on Israel on all [the] mighty [men] of wealth to give [it] to [the] king of Assyria fifty shekels silver to a man one and he returned [the] king of Assyria and not he remained there in the land.

٢٠ وَجَبَى مَنَحِيمُ خَمْسِينَ شَاقِلَ (نَحْوَ سِتِّ مِئَةِ جِرَاماً) مِنَ الْفِضَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَثْرِيَاءِ الإِسْرَائِيلِيِّينَ لِيَدْفَعَهَا لِمَلِكِ أَشُّورَ، فَرَجَعَ مَلِكُ أَشُّورَ وَلَمْ يَحْتَلَّ الأَرْضَ.

21 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Menahem and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

٢١ أَمَّا بَقِيَّةُ أَخْبَارِ مَنَحِيمَ وَمُنْجَزَاتُهُ أَلَيْسَتْ هِيَ مُدَوَّنَةً فِي كِتَابِ أَخْبَارِ أَيَّامِ مُلُوكِ إِسْرَائِيلَ؟

22 And he lay down Menahem with ancestors his and he became king Pekahiah son his in place of him.

٢٢ ثُمَّ مَاتَ مَنَحِيمُ وَدُفِنَ مَعَ آبَائِهِ، وَخَلَفَهُ ابْنُهُ فَقَحْيَا عَلَى الْمُلْكِ.

23 In year fifty year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Pekahiah [the] son of Menahem over Israel in Samaria two years.

٢٣ وَفِي السَّنَةِ الْخَمْسِينَ لِحُكْمِ عَزَرْيَا مَلِكِ يَهُوذَا، اعْتَلَى فَقَحْيَا بْنُ مَنَحِيمَ عَرْشَ إِسْرَائِيلَ لِمُدَّةِ سَنَتَيْنِ،

24 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh not he turned aside from [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel.

٢٤ وَارْتَكَبَ الشَّرَّ فِي عَيْنَيِ الرَّبِّ عَلَى غِرَارِ خَطَايَا يَرُبْعَامَ بْنِ نَبَاطَ الَّتِي اسْتَغْوَى بِها الإِسْرَائِيلِيِّينَ،

25 And he conspired on him Pekah [the] son of Remaliah officer his and he struck down him in Samaria in [the] fortress of [the] house of (the king *Q(K)*) with Argob and with Arieh and [were] with him fifty man from [the] sons of [the] Gileadites and he killed him and he became king in place of him.

٢٥ فَثَارَ عَلَيْهِ فَقْحُ بْنُ رَمَلْيَا، أَحَدُ قُوَّادِهِ مَعَ خَمْسِينَ جُنْدِيًّا مِنَ الْجِلْعَادِيِّينَ، وَاغْتَالَهُ فِي السَّامِرَةِ فِي عُقْرِ قَصْرِهِ، كَمَا اغْتَالَ مَعَهُ أَرْجُوبَ وَأَرْيَةَ، وَخَلَفَهُ عَلَى الْمُلْكِ.

26 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Pekahiah and all that he did there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

٢٦ أَمَّا بَقِيَّةُ أَعْمَالِ فَقَحْيَا وَمُنْجَزَاتُهُ، فَهِيَ مُدَوَّنَةٌ فِي كِتَابِ أَخْبَارِ أَيَّامِ مُلُوكِ إِسْرَائِيلَ.

27 In year fifty and two year of Azariah [the] king of Judah he became king Pekah [the] son of Remaliah over Israel in Samaria twenty year[s].

٢٧ وَفِي السَّنَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ وَالْخَمْسِينَ لِحُكْمِ عَزَرْيَا مَلِكِ يَهُوذَا، اعْتَلَى فَقْحُ بْنُ رَمَلْيَا عَرْشَ إِسْرَائِيلَ فِي السَّامِرَةِ لِمُدَّةِ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً.

28 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh not he turned aside from [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel.

٢٨ وَارْتَكَبَ الشَّرَّ فِي عَيْنَيِ الرَّبِّ عَلَى غِرَارِ خَطَايَا يَرُبْعَامَ بْنِ نَبَاطَ الَّتِي اسْتَغْوَى بِها الإِسْرَائِيلِيِّينَ فَأَخْطَأَوا.

29 In [the] days of Pekah [the] king of Israel he came Tiglath-pileser [the] king of Assyria and he took Ijon and Abel Beth Maacah and Janoah and Kedesh and Hazor and Gilead and Galilee towards all [the] land of Naphtali and he took into exile them Assyria towards.

٢٩ وَفِي أَيَّامِهِ هَاجَمَ تَغْلَثْ فَلاسِرُ مَلِكُ أَشُّورَ الْبِلادَ، وَاسْتَوْلَى عَلَى مُدُنِ عُيُونَ، وَآبَلَ بَيْتِ مَعْكَةَ، وَيَانُوحَ، وَقَادَشَ، وَحَاصُورَ، وَجِلْعَادَ وَالْجَلِيلِ، وَكُلِّ أَرْضِ نَفْتَالِي وَسَبَى أَهْلَهَا إِلَى أَشُّورَ.

30 And he conspired a conspiracy Hoshea [the] son of Elah on Pekah [the] son of Remaliah and he struck down him and he killed him and he became king in place of him in year twenty of Jotham [the] son of Uzziah.

٣٠ ثُمَّ تَمَرَّدَ هُوشَعُ بْنُ أَيْلَةَ عَلَى فَقْحَ بْنِ رَمَلْيَا وَاغْتَالَهُ، وَخَلَفَهُ عَلَى الْمُلْكِ فِي السَّنَةِ الْعِشْرِينَ لِيُوثَامَ بْنِ عُزِّيَّا (عَزَرْيَا).

31 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Pekah and all that he did there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

٣١ أَمَّا بَقِيَّةُ أَخْبَارِ فَقْحَ فَهِيَ مُدَوَّنَةٌ فِي كِتَابِ أَخْبَارِ أَيَّامِ مُلُوكِ إِسْرَائِيلَ.

32 In year two of Pekah [the] son of Remaliah [the] king of Israel he became king Jotham [the] son of Uzziah [the] king of Judah.

٣٢ وَفِي السَّنَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ لِحُكْمِ فَقْحَ بْنِ رَمَلْيَا مَلِكِ إِسْرَائِيلَ، اعْتَلَى يُوثَامُ بْنُ عُزِّيَّا عَرْشَ يَهُوذَا،

33 A son of twenty and five year[s] he was when became king he and six-teen year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Jerusha [the] daughter of Zadok.

٣٣ وَكَانَ لَهُ مِنَ الْعُمْرِ خَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ سَنَةً حِينَ مَلَكَ، وَدَامَ حُكْمُهُ فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ سِتَّ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً، وَاسْمُ أُمِّهِ يَرُوشَا ابْنَةُ صَادُوقَ.

34 And he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Uzziah father his he did.

٣٤ وَصَنَعَ كُلَّ مَا هُوَ صَالِحٌ فِي عَيْنَيِ الرَّبِّ، سَالِكاً فِي نَهْجِ أَبِيهِ عُزِّيَّا.

35 Only the high places not they were removed still the people [were] sacrificing and [were] making smoke at the high places he he built [the] gate of [the] house of Yahweh upper.

٣٥ وَلَكِنَّهُ لَمْ يَهْدِمِ الْمُرْتَفَعَاتِ، وَظَلَّ الشَّعْبُ يُقَرِّبُونَ عَلَيْهَا وَيُوْقِدُونَ. وَهُوَ الَّذِي بَنَى الْبَابَ الأَعْلَى لِهَيْكَلِ الرَّبِّ.

36 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jotham which he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.

٣٦ أَمَّا بَقِيَّةُ أَخْبَارِ يُوثَامَ وَمُنْجَزَاتُهُ أَلَيْسَتْ هِيَ مُدَوَّنَةً فِي كِتَابِ أَخْبَارِ أَيَّامِ مُلُوكِ يَهُوذَا؟

37 In the days those he began Yahweh to send in Judah Rezin [the] king of Aram and Pekah [the] son of Remaliah.

٣٧ وَفِي ذَلِكَ الْوَقْتِ شَرَعَ الرَّبُّ يُرْسِلُ عَلَى يَهُوذَا رَصِينَ مَلِكَ أَرَامَ وَفَقْحَ بْنَ رَمَلْيَا.

38 And he lay down Jotham with ancestors his and he was buried with ancestors his in [the] city of David ancestor his and he became king Ahaz son his in place of him.

٣٨ وَمَاتَ يُوثَامُ وَدُفِنَ مَعَ آبَائِهِ فِي مَدِينَةِ أَبِيهِ دَاوُدَ، وَخَلَفَهُ آحَازُ عَلَى الْمُلْكِ.
