2 Kings 13
1 In year twenty and three year of Joash [the] son of Ahaziah [the] king of Judah he became king Jehoahaz [the] son of Jehu over Israel in Samaria seven-teen year[s].
Im dreiundzwanzigsten Jahre des Joas, des Sohnes Ahasias, des Königs von Juda, ward Joahas, der Sohn Jehus, König über Israel zu Samaria, [und regierte] siebzehn Jahre lang.
2 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and he walked after [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel not he turned aside from it.
Er tat, was böse war in den Augen des HERRN, und wandelte in den Sünden Jerobeams, des Sohnes Nebats, der Israel zur Sünde verführt hatte, und ließ nicht davon.
3 And it burned [the] anger of Yahweh on Israel and he gave them in [the] hand of - Hazael [the] king of Aram and in [the] hand of Ben Hadad [the] son of Hazael all the days.
Deswegen ergrimmte der Zorn des HERRN über Israel, und er gab sie in die Hand Hasaels, des Königs von Syrien, und in die Hand Benhadads, des Sohnes Hasaels, ihr Leben lang.
4 And he entreated Jehoahaz [the] face of Yahweh and he listened to him Yahweh for he saw [the] oppression of Israel that he oppressed them [the] king of Aram.
Aber Joahas besänftigte das Angesicht des HERRN, und der HERR erhörte ihn; denn er sah die Bedrängnis Israels, wie der König von Syrien sie bedrängte.
5 And he gave Yahweh to Israel a deliverer and they came out from under [the] hand of Aram and they dwelt [the] people of Israel in tents their as yesterday three days ago.
Und der HERR gab Israel einen Helfer, und sie kamen aus der Gewalt der Syrer, und die Kinder Israel wohnten in ihren Hütten wie zuvor.
6 Nevertheless not they turned aside from [the] sins of [the] house of Jeroboam which (he caused to sin *Q(k)*) Israel in it it walked and also the Asherah pole it remained in Samaria.
Doch ließen sie nicht von den Sünden, zu denen das Haus Jerobeams Israel verführt hatte, sondern wandelten darin. Auch blieb die Aschera in Samaria stehen.
7 For not he left to Jehoahaz a people that except fifty horsemen and ten chariot[s] and ten thousand foot soldier[s] for he had destroyed them [the] king of Aram and he had made them like the dust to trample.
Von dem Kriegsvolke ließ [der HERR] dem Joahas nicht mehr übrig als fünfzig Reiter, zehn Wagen und zehntausend Mann Fußvolk; denn der König von Syrien hatte sie vertilgt und sie gemacht wie Staub beim Dreschen.
8 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jehoahaz and all that he did and might his ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
Was aber mehr von Joahas zu sagen ist, und alles, was er getan hat, und seine Macht, ist das nicht geschrieben in der Chronik der Könige von Israel?
9 And he lay down Jehoahaz with ancestors his and people buried him in Samaria and he became king Joash son his in place of him.
Und Joahas entschlief mit seinen Vätern, und man begrub ihn zu Samaria, und Joas, sein Sohn, ward König an seiner Statt.
10 In year thirty and seven year of Joash [the] king of Judah he became king Jehoash [the] son of Jehoahaz over Israel in Samaria six-teen year[s].
Im siebenunddreißigsten Jahre des Königs Joas von Juda ward Joas, der Sohn des Joahas, König über Israel zu Samaria, [und regierte] sechzehn Jahre lang.
11 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh not he turned aside from all [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel in it he walked.
Und er tat, was böse war in den Augen des HERRN, und ließ nicht ab von allen Sünden, zu denen Jerobeam, der Sohn Nebats, Israel verführt hatte, sondern wandelte darin.
12 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Joash and all that he did and might his which he waged war with Amaziah [the] king of Judah ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
Was aber mehr von Joas zu sagen ist und was er getan hat, und seine Macht, wie er mit Amazia, dem König von Juda, gestritten, ist das nicht geschrieben in der Chronik der Könige von Israel?
13 And he lay down Joash with ancestors his and Jeroboam he sat on throne his and he was buried Joash in Samaria with [the] kings of Israel.
Und Joas legte sich zu seinen Vätern, und Jerobeam setzte sich auf seinen Thron. Und Joas ward zu Samaria bei den Königen von Israel begraben.
14 And Elisha he became sick sickness his which he will die by it and he went down to him Joash [the] king of Israel and he wept on face his and he said O father my - father my [the] chariotry of Israel and horsemen its.
Elisa aber ward von der Krankheit befallen, an der er sterben sollte. Und Joas, der König von Israel, kam zu ihm hinab, weinte vor ihm und sprach: O mein Vater, mein Vater! Wagen Israels und seine Reiter!
15 And he said to him Elisha take a bow and arrows and he took to himself a bow and arrows.
Elisa aber sprach zu ihm: Nimm den Bogen und die Pfeile! Und als er den Bogen und die Pfeile nahm,
16 And he said - to [the] king of Israel make ride hand your on the bow and he made ride hand his and he put Elisha hands his on [the] hands of the king.
sprach Elisa zum König von Israel: Spanne mit deiner Hand den Bogen! Und er spannte ihn mit seiner Hand. Und Elisa legte seine Hände auf die Hände des Königs und sprach:
17 And he said open the window east-ward and he opened [it] and he said Elisha shoot and he shot and he said an arrow of victory of Yahweh and an arrow of victory on Aram and you will strike down Aram in Aphek until make an end.
Tue das Fenster auf gegen Morgen! Und er tat es auf. Und Elisa sprach: Schieße! Und er schoß. Er aber sprach: Ein Pfeil des Heils vom HERRN, ein Pfeil des Heils wider die Syrer! Du wirst die Syrer schlagen zu Aphek, bis sie aufgerieben sind!
18 And he said take the arrows and he took [them] and he said to [the] king of Israel strike [the] ground towards and he struck three times and he stopped.
Und er sprach: Nimm die Pfeile! Und als er sie nahm, sprach er zum König von Israel: Schlage auf die Erde! Da schlug er dreimal und hielt inne.
19 And he was angry towards him [the] man of God and he said to strike five or six times then you have struck down Aram until make an end and now three times you will strike down Aram.
Da ward der Mann Gottes zornig über ihn und sprach: Hättest du fünf oder sechsmal geschlagen, so würdest du die Syrer bis zur Vernichtung geschlagen haben; nun aber wirst du die Syrer nur dreimal schlagen!
20 And he died Elisha and people buried him and [the] marauding bands of Moab they came in the land coming a year.
Und Elisa starb und ward begraben. Im folgenden Jahre fielen die Streifscharen der Moabiter ins Land.
21 And it was they - [were] burying a man and there! they saw marauding band and they threw the man in [the] grave of Elisha and he went and he touched the man [the] bones of Elisha and he lived and he arose on feet his.
Und es begab sich, als man einen Mann begrub, sahen sie plötzlich die Streifschar [kommen]; da warfen sie den Mann in Elisas Grab. Und sobald der Mann die Gebeine Elisas berührte, ward er lebendig und stand auf seine Füße.
22 And Hazael [the] king of Aram he had oppressed Israel all [the] days of Jehoahaz.
Hasael aber, der König von Syrien, bedrängte Israel, solange Joahas lebte.
23 And he showed favor to Yahweh with them and he had compassion on them and he turned to them on account of covenant his with Abraham Isaac and Jacob and not he was willing to destroy them and not he threw them from on face his until now.
Aber der HERR war ihnen gnädig und erbarmte sich ihrer und wandte sich zu ihnen um seines Bundes willen mit Abraham, Isaak und Jakob; er wollte sie nicht verderben und hatte sie bis dahin noch nicht von seinem Angesichte verworfen.
24 And he died Hazael [the] king of Aram and he became king Ben Hadad son his in place of him.
Und Hasael, der König von Syrien, starb, und sein Sohn Benhadad ward König an seiner Statt.
25 And he returned Jehoash [the] son of Jehoahaz and he took the cities from [the] hand of Ben Hadad [the] son of Hazael which he had taken from [the] hand of Jehoahaz father his in battle three times he struck down him Joash and he restored [the] cities of Israel.
Joas aber, der Sohn des Joahas, entriß der Hand Benhadads, des Sohnes Hasaels, die Städte wieder, die dieser im Krieg aus der Hand seines Vaters Joahas genommen hatte; dreimal schlug ihn Joas und eroberte die Städte Israels zurück.
