2 Kings 12
1 In year seven of Jehu he became king Jehoash and forty year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Zibiah from Beer Sheba.
येहूको सातौँ वर्षमा योआशले राज्य गर्न थाले । तिनले यरूशलेममा चालिस वर्ष राज्य गरे । तिनकी आमाको नाउँ सिब्या थियो, जो बेर्शेबाकी थिइन् ।
2 And he did Jehoash the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh all days his which he instructed him Jehoiada the priest.
योआशले सधैँ परमप्रभुको दृष्टिमा जे ठिक छ, त्यही गरे किनकि यहोयादा पुजारीले तिनलाई सल्लाह दिने गर्थे ।
3 Only the high places not they were removed still the people [were] sacrificing and [were] making smoke at the high places.
तर डाँडाका थानहरू भने हटाइएनन् । मानिसहरूले अझै पनि डाँडाका थानहरूमा बलिदान चढाए र धूप बाले ।
4 And he said Jehoash to the priests all [the] money of the holy gifts which it will be brought [the] house of Yahweh money passing along everyone [the] money of persons of valuation his all [the] money which it will come up on [the] heart of a person to bring [the] house of Yahweh.
योआशले पुजारीहरूलाई भने, “परमप्रभुको मन्दिरभित्र पवित्र भेटीहरूको रूपमा ल्याइएका सबै रुपियाँ-पैसा अर्थात् जनगणनामा जम्मा गरिएको रकम वा व्यक्तिगत भाकलबाट प्राप्त गरिएको रकम वा परमप्रभुद्वारा मानिसहरूका आ-आफ्ना ह्रदयमा प्रेरित गरी तिनीहरूद्वारा ल्याइएको रकम जम्मा गर,
5 Let them take themselves the priests each from with acquaintance his and they they will repair [the] damage of the house to every where it will be found there damage.
पुजारीहरूले कुनै एक जना कोषाध्यक्षबाट रकम लिऊन् र मन्दिरमा भएको कुनै पनि क्षतिको मर्मत गरून् ।”
6 And it was in year twenty and three year of the king Jehoash not they had repaired the priests [the] damage of the house.
तर राजा योआशको तेइसौँ वर्षसम्म पनि पुजारीहरूले मन्दिरमा केही पनि मर्मत गरेका थिएनन् ।
7 And he summoned the king Jehoash Jehoiada the priest and the priests and he said to them why? [are] not you repairing [the] damage of the house and now may not you take money from with acquaintances your for for [the] damage of the house you will give it.
तब राजा योआशले यहोयादा पुजारी र अन्य पुजारीहरूलाई बोलाई तिनीहरूलाई भने, “किन तिमीहरूले मन्दिरमा केही पनि मर्मत गरेका छैनौ? अबदेखि तिमीहरूका कर उठाउनेहरूबाट रकम नउठाउनू, तर मन्दिरको मर्मतको लागि जे-जेति जम्मा भएका छन्, ती लिएर मर्मत गर्न सक्नेहरूलाई दिनू ।”
8 And they agreed the priests to not to take money from with the people and to not to repair [the] damage of the house.
त्यसैले अब मानिसहरूबाट रुपियाँ-पैसा नलिने र पुजारीहरू आफैले मन्दिरको मर्मत नगर्ने कुरामा तिनीहरू सहमत भए ।
9 And he took Jehoiada the priest a chest one and he bored a hole in lid its and he put it beside the altar (from [the] right [side] *Q(K)*) when comes anyone [the] house of Yahweh and they put there the priests [who] kept of the threshold all the money which was brought [the] house of Yahweh.
बरु, यहोयादा पुजारीले एउटा सन्दुक लिएर त्यसमा प्वाल पारे, अनि यसलाई परमप्रभुको मन्दिरभित्र प्रवेश गर्ने दाहिनेपट्टि वेदीको छेउमा राखे । मन्दिरको प्रवेशद्वारको पहरा दिने पुजारीहरूले परमप्रभुको मन्दिरमा ल्याएका सबै रकम त्यसैमा हाल्थे ।
10 And it was when saw they that much the money [was] in the chest and he came up [the] scribe of the king and the priest great and they tied up and they counted the money which was found [the] house of Yahweh.
जब सन्दुकमा धेरै रकम जम्मा भएको तिनीहरूले देख्थे, राजाका सचिव र प्रधान पुजारी आउँथे र परमप्रभुको मन्दिरमा ल्याइएको रुपियाँ-पैसा थैलाहरूमा हाल्थे र त्यसपछि गणना गर्थे ।
11 And they put the money weighed out on ([the] hands of *Q(K)*) [the] doers of the work (who were appointed *Q(K)*) [the] house of Yahweh and they brought out it to [the] craftsmen of wood and to the builders who were working on [the] house of Yahweh.
तिनीहरूले उक्त रकम हिसाब गरेपछि परमप्रभुको मन्दिरको रेखदेख गर्नेहरूका हातमा दिन्थे । तिनीहरूले परमप्रभुको मन्दिरमा काम गर्ने सिकर्मीहरू र निर्माणकर्ताहरू
12 And to the masons and to [the] cutters of stone and to acquire wood and stones of hewing to repair [the] damage of [the] house of Yahweh and for all that it went out on the house to repair [it].
अनि डकर्मीहरू र ढुङ्गा काट्नेहरू, परमप्रभुको मन्दिरको मर्मतको निम्ति तिनीहरूले काठपात र काटेर मिलाइएका ढुङ्गाहरू किन्नलाई र मन्दिरको पुनर्निर्माणको लागि आवश्यक सबै खर्च गर्नलाई त्यो लिएर तिर्थे ।
13 Only not it was made [the] house of Yahweh basins of silver snuffers bowls trumpets any article of gold and article of silver from the money which was brought [the] house of Yahweh.
तर परमप्रभुको मन्दिरभित्र ल्याइएको रकम चाँदीको कचौरा, सामदानका चिम्टाहरू, बाटाहरू, तुरहीहरू वा सुनचाँदीका सजावटका सामानहरूका लागि खर्च गरिएन ।
14 For to [the] doers of the work they gave it and they repaired with it [the] house of Yahweh.
तिनीहरूले यो पैसा परमप्रभुको मन्दिरको मर्मतको काम गर्नेहरूलाई दिए ।
15 And not they settled accounts with the men whom they put the money on hand their to give to [the] doers of the work for in faithfulness they [were] working.
यसको बाहेक, तिनीहरूले काम गर्नेहरूका निम्ति मुख्य कामदारहरूलाई दिएका रुपियाँ-पैसाको हिसाब आवश्यक थिएन किनकि यी मानिसहरू इमानदार थिए ।
16 Money of guilt offering and money of sin offerings not it was brought [the] house of Yahweh to the priests they belonged.
तर दोष बलि र पाप बलिको निम्ति ल्याइने रुपियाँ-पैसा भने परमप्रभुको मन्दिरमा ल्याइएन किनकि यो पुजारीहरूको थियो ।
17 Then he went up Hazael [the] king of Aram and he fought on Gath and he captured it and he set Hazael face his to go up on Jerusalem.
त्यसपछि अरामका राजा हजाएलले गातको विरुद्धमा आक्रमण गरे र त्यसलाई लिए । त्यसपछि हजाएलले यरूशलेमलाई आक्रमण गर्न फर्के ।
18 And he took Jehoash [the] king of Judah all the holy things which they had consecrated Jehoshaphat and Jehoram and Ahaziah ancestors his [the] kings of Judah and own holy things his and all the gold which was found in [the] treasuries of [the] house of Yahweh and [the] house of the king and he sent [them] to Hazael [the] king of Aram and he went up from on Jerusalem.
यहूदाका राजा योआशले तिनका पुर्खाहरू अर्थात् यहूदाका राजाहरू यहोशापात, यहोराम र अहज्याह र तिनी आफैले अलग गरेका सबै पवित्र थोकसाथै परमप्रभुको मन्दिर र राजाका भण्डार कोठाहरूमा भेट्टाइएका सबै सुन लिए र ती अरामका राजा हजाएललाई पठाइदिए । तब हजाएल यरूशलेमबाट गए ।
19 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Joash and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.
योशाश, तिनले गरेका अरू कामहरूका बारेमा यहूदाका राजाहरूको इतिहासको पुस्तकमा लेखिएका छैनन् र?
20 And they arose servants his and they conspired a conspiracy and they struck down Joash Beth-Millo which goes down Silla.
तिनका सेवकहरू खडा भए र तिनीहरूले मिलेर षड्यन्त्र गरे । तिनीहरूले योशाशलाई सिल्लाको ओरालो बाटोमा भएको बेथ-मिल्लोमा आक्रमण गरे ।
21 And Jozabad [the] son of Shimeath and Jehozabad [the] son of Shomer - servants his they struck down him and he died and people buried him with ancestors his in [the] city of David and he became king Amaziah son his in place of him.
तिनका सेवकहरू शिम्मतका छोरा योजाबाद र शोमेरका छोरा यहोजाबादले तिनलाई आक्रमण गरे, अनि तिनी मरे । तिनीहरूले योआशलाई दाऊदको सहरमा तिनका पुर्खाहरूसित गाडे, र तिनको ठाउँमा तिनका छोरा अमस्याह राजा भए ।
