2 Kings 11

1 And Athaliah [the] mother of Ahaziah (she saw *Q(K)*) that he was dead son her and she arose and she destroyed all [the] offspring of royalty.

Atalia pak matka Ochoziášova viduci, že umřel syn její, vstavši, pomordovala všecko símě královské.

2 And she took Jehosheba [the] daughter of the king Joram [the] sister of Ahaziah Joash [the] son of Ahaziah and she stole him from among [the] sons of the king (who were about to be put to death *Q(K)*) him and suckling-nurse his in [the] chamber of the beds and they hid him from before Athaliah and not he was put to death.

Ale Jozaba dcera krále Jehorama, sestra Ochoziášova, vzala Joasa syna Ochoziášova, a ukradši ho z prostředku synů královských, kteříž mordováni byli, skryla jej i s chůvou jeho v pokoji, kdež lůže byla. A tak skryli ho před Atalií, a není zamordován.

3 And he was with her [the] house of Yahweh hiding himself six years and Athaliah [was] reigning over the land.

I byl s ní v domě Hospodinově tajně za šest let, v nichž Atalia kralovala nad zemí.

4 And in the year seventh he sent Jehoiada and he took - [the] commanders of (the hundreds *Q(k)*) of the Carian[s] and of the runners and he brought them to himself [the] house of Yahweh and he made to them a covenant and he made to swear an oath with them in [the] house of Yahweh and he showed them [the] son of the king.

Léta sedmého poslav Joiada, povolal setníků, hejtmanů a drabantů. I uvedl je k sobě do domu Hospodinova, a učinil s nimi smlouvu, a zavázav je přísahou v domě Hospodinově, ukázal jim syna králova.

5 And he commanded them saying this [is] the thing which you will do! the third [part] of you [who] come the sabbath and [who] keep [the] watch of [the] house of the king.

A přikázal jim, řka: Tato jest věc, kterouž učiníte: Třetí díl vás, kteříž přicházíte v sobotu, a držíte stráž, bude při domě králově,

6 And the third [part] [will be] at [the] gate of Sur and the third [part] [will be] at the gate behind the runners and you will keep [the] watch of the house by turns.

A díl třetí bude u brány Sur, a třetí díl bude u brány za drabanty, a budete stráž držeti, ostříhajíce domu tohoto před outokem.

7 And [the] two the hands in you all [those who] go out the sabbath and they will keep [the] watch of [the] house of Yahweh to the king.

Vy pak všickni, kteříž byste odjíti měli v sobotu, po vykonání povinnosti při domě Hospodinově, ve dvě poboční stráže rozdělení, buďte při králi.

8 And you will surround the king all around everyone and weapons his in hand his and the [one who] comes into the ranks he will be put to death and be with the king when goes out he and when comes he.

A tak obstoupíte krále vůkol, jeden každý majíce braň svou v rukou svých. Kdož by pak šel do šiku vašeho, ať umře; a budete při králi, když bude vycházeti i když bude vcházeti.

9 And they did [the] commanders of (the hundreds *Q(k)*) according to all that he commanded Jehoiada the priest and they took each men his [those who] came the sabbath with [those who] went out the sabbath and they came to Jehoiada the priest.

Protož učinili setníci ti všecky věci tak, jakž byl rozkázal Joiada kněz, a vzavše jeden každý muže své, kteříž přicházeli v sobotu a kteříž odcházeli v sobotu, přišli k Joiadovi knězi.

10 And he gave the priest to [the] commanders of (the hundreds *Q(k)*) the spear and the shields which [had belonged] to the king David which [were] in [the] house of Yahweh.

I dal kněz setníkům kopí a pavézy, kteréž byly Davida krále, a kteréž byly v domě Hospodinově.

11 And they stood the runners everyone - and weapons his in hand his from [the] side of the house south to [the] side of the house north to the altar and to the house at the king all around.

Stáli pak ti drabanti, jeden každý držíce braň svou v ruce své, od pravé strany domu až do levé strany domu, proti oltáři a proti domu při králi vůkol.

12 And he brought out [the] son of the king and he put on him the crown and the testimony and they made king him and they anointed him and they struck a palm and they said may he live the king.

Tedy vyvedl syna králova, a vstavil na něj korunu a ozdobu. I ustanovili jej králem a pomazali ho, a plésajíce rukama, říkali: Živ buď král!

13 And she heard Athaliah [the] sound of the runners the people and she went to the people [the] house of Yahweh.

V tom uslyševši Atalia hluk plésajícího lidu, vešla k lidu do domu Hospodinova.

14 And she saw and there! the king [was] standing at the pillar according to the custom and the commanders and the trumpets [were] with the king and all [the] people of the land [was] joyful and [was] giving a blast on trumpets and she tore Athaliah clothes her and she called out treason treason.

A když pohleděla, a aj, král stál na místě vyšším, vedlé obyčeje s knížaty, a trouby byly před králem, a všecken lid země byl vesel, i troubili v trouby. Tedy roztrhla Atalia roucho své a zkřikla: Spiknutí, spiknutí!

15 And he commanded Jehoiada the priest [the] commanders of (the hundreds *Q(k)*) [the] officers of the army and he said to them bring out her to from between to the ranks and the [one who] comes behind her put to death with the sword for he had said the priest may not she be put to death [the] house of Yahweh.

Protož rozkázal Joiada kněz těm setníkům ustaveným nad vojskem, řka jim: Pusťte ji prostředkem řadu, a i toho, kdož by za ní šel, zabíte mečem. Nebo byl řekl kněz: Ať není zabita v domě Hospodinově.

16 And they put to her hands and she went [the] way of [the] entrance of the horses [the] house of the king and she was put to death there.

I pustili ji. Ale když přišla na cestu, kudy koni vcházejí do domu královského, tu jest zabita.

17 And he made Jehoiada the covenant between Yahweh and between the king and between the people to become a people of Yahweh and between the king and between the people.

Tedy učinil Joiada smlouvu mezi Hospodinem a mezi králem, i mezi lidem, aby byli lid Hospodinův; též mezi králem a mezi lidem.

18 And they went all [the] people of the land [the] house of Baal and they pulled down it (altars its *Q(K)*) and images its they broke thoroughly and Mattan [the] priest of Baal they killed before the altars and he appointed the priest overseers over [the] house of Yahweh.

Potom šel všecken lid země do domu Bálova, a zbořili jej, i oltáře jeho a obrazy jeho v kusy stroskotali; Matana také kněze Bálova zabili před oltáři. Kněz pak znovu nařídil přisluhující v domě Hospodinově.

19 And he took [the] commanders of the hundreds and the Carian[s] and the runners and - all [the] people of the land and they took down the king from [the] house of Yahweh and they came [the] way of [the] gate of the runners [the] house of the king and he sat on [the] throne of the kings.

A pojav ty setníky a hejtmany, i drabanty se vším lidem země, provázeli krále z domu Hospodinova, a přišli cestou k bráně drabantů do domu královského. Kdežto posadil se na stolici královské.

20 And it rejoiced all [the] people of the land and the city it was at peace and Athaliah they had put to death with the sword [the] house of (the king. *Q(K)*)

I veselil se všecken lid země, a město se upokojilo. Atalii pak zabili mečem u domu královského.

21 [was] a son of Seven years Jehoash when became king he.

A byl Joas v sedmi letech, když počal kralovati.
