2 Kings 10
1 And [belonged] to Ahab seventy sons in Samaria and he wrote Jehu letters and he sent [them] Samaria to [the] officials of Jezreel the elders and to the guardians Ahab saying.
Zvino muSamaria maiva navanakomana vaAhabhu makumi manomwe. Saka Jehu akanyora matsamba akatumira kuSamaria achiti: kuvabati veJezireeri, kuvakuru navachengeti vavana vaAhabhu. Akati,
2 And now (when comes *LB(ah)*) the letter this to you and [are] with you [the] sons of master your and [are] with you chariotry and horses and a city of fortification and weaponry.
“Panongosvika tsamba iyi kwamuri, sezvo vana vatenzi wenyu vanemi uye ngoro namabhiza munazvo, guta rakakombwa uye nezvombo,
3 And you will see the good and the right of [the] sons of master your and you will set [him] on [the] throne of father his and fight on [the] house of master your.
sarudzai mwanakomana watenzi wenyu akanaka, uye anokudzwa kukunda vose mugomugadza pachigaro choushe chababa vake. Ipapo mugorwira imba yatenzi wenyu.”
4 And they were afraid very very and they said there! [the] two the kings not they stood before him and how? will we stand we.
Asi vakavhunduka vakati, “Kana madzimambo maviri asina kumukunda, isu tingamugona seiko?”
5 And he sent [the one] who [was] over the house and [the one] who [was] over the city and the elders and the guardians to Jehu - saying [are] servants your we and all that you will say to us we will do not we will make king anyone the good in view your do.
Naizvozvo mutariri wapamuzinda, nomukuru weguta, navakuru navareri vakatuma shoko kuna Jehu vakati, “Tiri varanda venyu uye tichaita zvose zvamunoreva. Hatichagadzi ani zvake kuti ave mambo; imi itai zvose zvamunofunga kuti zvakanaka.”
6 And he wrote to them a letter - second saying if [belong] to me you and to voice my - you [are] listening take [the] heads of [the] men of [the] sons of master your and come to me about this time tomorrow Jezreel towards and [the] sons of the king seventy man [were] with [the] great [people] of the city [who] were bringing up them.
Ipapo Jehu akavanyorerazve tsamba yechipiri akati, “Kana muri kurutivi rwangu uye muchizonditeerera, uyai nemisoro yavanakomana vatenzi wenyu kwandiri muJezireeri nenguva ino mangwana.” Zvino machinda amambo, makumi manomwe, vakanga vane varume vaitungamirira guta, vaiva vachengeti vavo.
7 And it was when came the letter to them and they took [the] sons of the king and they slaughtered seventy man and they put heads their in baskets and they sent [them] to him Jezreel towards.
Tsamba yakati yasvika kwavari, varume ava vakatora vanakomana vamambo vakavauraya vose vari makumi manomwe. Vakaisa misoro yavo mumatengu vakaitumira kuna Jehu muJezireeri.
8 And he came the messenger and he told to him saying they have brought [the] heads of [the] sons of the king and he said make them two heaps [the] entrance of the gate until the morning.
Nhume yakati yasvika, yakaudza Jehu kuti, “Vauya nemisoro yavanakomana vamambo.” Ipapo Jehu akavarayira akati, “Irongei mumirwi miviri pasuo reguta kusvikira mangwana.”
9 And it was in the morning and he went out and he stood and he said to all the people [are] righteous you here! I I conspired on master my and I killed him and who? did he strike down all these.
Fume mangwana Jehu akamuka akabuda. Akamira pamberi pavanhu vose akati kwavari, “Imi hamuna mhosva. Ndini ndakamukira tenzi wangu ndikamuuraya, asi ndiani auraya ava vose?
10 Know then that not it will fall any of [the] word of Yahweh [the] ground towards which he has spoken Yahweh on [the] house of Ahab and Yahweh he has done [that] which he spoke by [the] hand of servant his Elijah.
Muzive zvino kuti hakuna shoko rakataurwa naJehovha pamusoro peimba yaAhabhu richawira pasi. Jehovha aita zvaakavimbisa kubudikidza nomuranda wake Eria.”
11 And he struck down Jehu all those [who] remained of [the] house of Ahab in Jezreel and all great [men] his and acquaintances his and priests his until not he had left to him a survivor.
Saka Jehu akauraya vose vakasara veimba yaAhabhu vaiva muJezireeri, namakurukota ake ose, neshamwari dzake dzepedyo navaprista, akasamusiyira mupenyu.
12 And he arose and he went and he went Samaria he [was at] Beth Eked of [the] Shepherds on [the] way.
Zvino Jehu akasimuka akananga kuSamaria. Paimba yaiveurirwa makwai navafudzi,
13 And Jehu he found [the] brothers of Ahaziah [the] king of Judah and he said who? [are] you and they said [are] [the] brothers of Ahaziah we and we have come down for [the] peace of [the] sons of the king and [the] sons of the queen-mother.
akasangana nehama dzaAhazia mambo weJudha akavabvunza akati, “Ndimi vanaaniko?” Ivo vakati, “Tiri hama dzaAhazia, tauya kuzokwazisa mhuri dzamambo nedzamambokadzi.”
14 And he said seize them alive and they seized them alive and they slaughtered them to [the] pit of Beth Eked forty and two man and not he spared anyone from them.
Akarayira akati, “Vatorei vari vapenyu!” Naizvozvo vakavatora vari vapenyu vakandovauraya patsime rapaimba yaiveurirwa makwai, varume makumi mana navaviri. Haana kusiya mupenyu.
15 And he went from there and he found Jonadab [the] son of Rechab to meet him and he blessed him and he said to him ¿ [is] there with heart your right just as heart my [is] with heart your and he said Jonadab there is and there is give! hand your and he gave hand his and he took up him to himself into the chariot.
Abva ikoko, akasangana naJehonadhabhi mwanakomana waRekabhi, akanga ari munzira kuzosangana naye. Jehu akamukwazisa akati, “Unondifarira here, sokufarira kwandinokuita.” Jehonadhabhi akati, “Hongu.” Jehu akati, “Kana zviri izvo ndipe ruoko rwako.” Akaita saizvozvo, Jehu akamukwidza mungoro.
16 And he said come! with me and look on zeal my for Yahweh and they made ride him in chariot his.
Jehu akati kwaari, “Uya uone kushingairira kwangu Jehovha.” Ipapo akafamba naye mungoro yake.
17 And he came Samaria and he struck down all those [who] remained of Ahab in Samaria until he had destroyed him according to [the] word of Yahweh which he had spoken to Elijah.
Jehu akati asvika kuSamaria, akauraya vakasara vose veimba yaAhabhu; akavaparadza, sezvakanga zvarehwa neshoko raJehovha kuna Eria.
18 And he gathered Jehu all the people and he said to them Ahab he served Baal a little Jehu he will serve him much.
Ipapo Jehu akaunganidza vanhu vose pamwe chete akati kwavari, “Ahabhu akashumira Bhaari zvishoma; Jehu achamushumira zvakanyanya.
19 And therefore all [the] prophets of Baal all [those who] serve him and all priests his summon to me anyone may not he be missing for a sacrifice great [belongs] to me to Baal any [one] who he will be missing not he will live and Jehu he acted with guile so as to destroy [those who] serve Baal.
Zvino chikokai vaprofita vose vaBhaari, navashumiri vake vose. Muone kuti hapana anosara, nokuti ndiri kuzoita chibayiro chikuru chaBhaari. Ani naani achatadza kuuya haangararami.” Asi Jehu akanga achivanyengera achiitira kuti aparadze vashumiri vaBhaari.
20 And he said Jehu consecrate an assembly to Baal and they proclaimed [it].
Jehu akati, “Danidzirai ungano yokuremekedza Bhaari.” Naizvozvo vakadanidzira.
21 And he sent Jehu in all Israel and they came all [those who] serve Baal and not he was left anyone who not he came and they went [the] house of Baal and it was filled [the] house of Baal mouth to mouth.
Ipapo akatuma shoko muIsraeri mose, vashumiri vose vaBhaari vakauya; hapana kana mumwe chete akasara. Vakatsikirirana mutemberi yaBhaari kusvikira yazara kubva kuno rumwe rutivi kusvika kuno rumwe.
22 And he said to [the one] who [was] over the wardrobe bring out clothing for all [those who] serve Baal and he brought out for them the clothing.
Zvino Jehu akati kumuchengeti wezvipfeko, “Uya nenguo dzavashumiri vaBhaari.” Naizvozvo akavavigira nguo.
23 And he went Jehu and Jonadab [the] son of Rechab [the] house of Baal and he said to [those who] serve Baal search and see lest there here with you [be] any of [the] servants of Yahweh that except [those who] serve Baal to alone them.
Ipapo Jehu naJehonadhabhi mwanakomana waRekabhi vakapinda mutemberi yaBhaari. Jehu akati kuvashumiri vaBhaari, “Tarirai muone kuti pakati penyu hapana varanda vaJehovha vari pano nemi, asi vashumiri vaBhaari chete.”
24 And they went to offer sacrifices and burnt offerings and Jehu he had stationed himself on the outside eighty man and he had said the man who he will escape from the men whom I [am] bringing on hands your life his in place of life his.
Naizvozvo vakapinda kundobayira zvibayiro nezvipiriso zvinopiswa. Zvino Jehu akanga amisa panze varume makumi masere neyambiro yokuti: “Kana mumwe wenyu akarega mumwe wavarume ava vandaisa mumaoko enyu achipunyuka, zvichareva kuti iye achamufira.”
25 And it was when finished he - to offer the burnt offering and he said Jehu to the runners and to the officers go strike down them anyone may not he come out and they struck down them to [the] mouth of [the] sword and they threw [them] out the runners and the officers and they went to [the] city of [the] house of Baal.
Jehu akati achangopedza kuita chipiriso chinopiswa, akabva arayira varindi navakuru akati, “Pindai mukati munovauraya; ngaparege kuva neanopunyuka.” Naizvozvo vakavauraya nomunondo. Varindi navakuru vakakanda zvitunha zvavo kunze uye vakapinda munhare yomukati metemberi yaBhaari.
26 And they brought out [the] sacred pillars of [the] house of Baal and they burned it.
Vakabudisa dombo rinoera kunze kwetemberi yaBhaari vakaripisa.
27 And they pulled down [the] sacred pillar of Baal and they pulled down [the] house of Baal and they made it (outhouses *Q(K)*) until this day.
Vakaparadza dombo rinoera raBhaari vakaputsa temberi yaBhaari, uye vanhu vakaishandisa sechimbuzi kusvikira nhasi.
28 And he destroyed Jehu Baal from Israel.
Naizvozvo Jehu akaparadza chinamato chaBhaari muIsraeri.
29 Only [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel not he turned aside Jehu from after them [the] calves of gold which [were] Beth-el and which [were] in Dan.
Kunyange zvakadaro, haana kutsauka pazvivi zvaJerobhoamu mwanakomana waNebhati, zvaakaita kuti vaIsraeri vaite, nokunamata mhuru yegoridhe paBheteri napaDhani.
30 And he said Yahweh to Jehu because that you have done well by doing the right in view my according to all that [was] in heart my you have done to [the] house of Ahab descendants of [the] fourth [generation] they will sit of you on [the] throne of Israel.
Jehovha akati kuna Jehu, “Nokuti wakaita zvakanaka mukuzadzisa izvo zvakarurama pamberi pangu uye ukaita kuimba yaAhabhu zvose zvandaiva nazvo mupfungwa kuti ndiite, vana vako vachagara pachigaro choushe cheIsraeri kusvikira kuchizvarwa chechina.”
31 And Jehu not he took care to walk in [the] law of Yahweh [the] God of Israel with all heart his not he turned aside from on [the] sins of Jeroboam which he caused to sin Israel.
Asi Jehu haana kuchenjerera kuchengeta murayiro waJehovha, Mwari waIsraeri, nomwoyo wake wose. Haana kutsauka kubva pazvivi zvaJerobhoamu, zvaakanga aita kuti Israeri iite.
32 In the days those he began Yahweh to cut off in Israel and he struck down them Hazael in all [the] territory of Israel.
Mumazuva iwayo Jehovha akatanga kutapudza vaIsraeri. Hazaeri akakurira vaIsraeri munyika yavo yose
33 From the Jordan [the] rising of the sun all [the] land of Gilead the Gadite[s] and the Reubenite[s] and the Manassite[s] from Aroer which [is] at [the] wadi of Arnon and Gilead and Bashan.
kumabvazuva eJorodhani munyika yose yeGireadhi (dunhu raGadhi, neraRubheni neraManase), kubva kuAreori nepaMupata weAnoni zvichipfuura nomuGireadhi kusvikira kuBhashani.
34 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jehu and all that he did and all might his ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
Zvino mamwe mabasa okutonga kwaJehu, nezvose zvaakaita, uye nokubudirira kwake kwose, hazvina kunyorwa here mubhuku renhoroondo dzamadzimambo eIsraeri?
35 And he lay down Jehu with ancestors his and people buried him in Samaria and he became king Jehoahaz son his in place of him.
Jehu akazorora namadzibaba ake akavigwa muSamaria. Jehoahazi mwanakomana wake akamutevera paumambo.
36 And the days which he reigned Jehu over Israel [were] twenty and eight year[s] in Samaria.
Jehu akabata ushe pamusoro peIsraeri muSamaria kwamakore makumi maviri namasere.
