2 Kings 10
1 And [belonged] to Ahab seventy sons in Samaria and he wrote Jehu letters and he sent [them] Samaria to [the] officials of Jezreel the elders and to the guardians Ahab saying.
Tsono Ahabu anali ndi ana aamuna 70 a ku Samariya. Ndipo Yehu analemba makalata nawatumiza ku Samariya kwa atsogoleri a mu mzinda wa Yezireeli, kwa akuluakulu ndiponso kwa amene ankalera ana a Ahabu, nati,
2 And now (when comes *LB(ah)*) the letter this to you and [are] with you [the] sons of master your and [are] with you chariotry and horses and a city of fortification and weaponry.
“Inu mukangolandira kalatayi, popeza ana a mbuye wanu ali ndi inu ndiponso muli ndi magaleta ndi akavalo, mzinda wotetezedwa ndi zida zankhondo,
3 And you will see the good and the right of [the] sons of master your and you will set [him] on [the] throne of father his and fight on [the] house of master your.
sankhani mwana wa mbuye wanu amene ndi wooneka bwino ndiponso woyenera, mulowetseni ufumu wa abambo ake. Kenaka muchite nkhondo kuteteza nyumba ya mbuye wanu.”
4 And they were afraid very very and they said there! [the] two the kings not they stood before him and how? will we stand we.
Koma anthuwo anachita mantha kwambiri ndipo anati, “Taonani, mafumu awiri sanathe kulimbana naye, nanga ife tingathe bwanji?”
5 And he sent [the one] who [was] over the house and [the one] who [was] over the city and the elders and the guardians to Jehu - saying [are] servants your we and all that you will say to us we will do not we will make king anyone the good in view your do.
Choncho woyangʼanira nyumba ya mfumu, bwanamkubwa wa mzinda, akuluakulu ena ndiponso olera anawo anatumiza uthenga uwu kwa Yehu: “Ife ndife atumiki anu ndipo tidzachita chilichonse chomwe mutiwuze. Sitidzasankha munthu wina aliyense kukhala mfumu ndipo chitani chimene mukuganiza kuti nʼchabwino kwa inu.”
6 And he wrote to them a letter - second saying if [belong] to me you and to voice my - you [are] listening take [the] heads of [the] men of [the] sons of master your and come to me about this time tomorrow Jezreel towards and [the] sons of the king seventy man [were] with [the] great [people] of the city [who] were bringing up them.
Ndipo Yehu anawalembera kalata yachiwiri yonena kuti, “Ngati inu muli mbali yanga ndi kuti mudzandimvera, mudule mitu ya ana a mbuye wanu ndipo mubwere nayo kwa ine ku Yezireeli mawa nthawi ngati yomwe ino.” Tsono ana a mfumu onse 70 anali pamodzi ndi akuluakulu a mu mzindamo, amene ankawalera.
7 And it was when came the letter to them and they took [the] sons of the king and they slaughtered seventy man and they put heads their in baskets and they sent [them] to him Jezreel towards.
Kalatayo itafika, anthuwo anatenga ana a mfumu 70 aja ndi kuwapha onse. Anayika mitu yawo mʼmadengu ndi kuyitumiza ku Yezireeli kwa Yehu.
8 And he came the messenger and he told to him saying they have brought [the] heads of [the] sons of the king and he said make them two heaps [the] entrance of the gate until the morning.
Mthenga uja atafika, anamuwuza Yehu kuti, “Abweretsa mitu ya ana a mfumu.” Ndipo Yehu analamula kuti, “Unjikani mituyo mʼmilu iwiri pa chipata cha mzinda ndipo ikhale pamenepo mpaka mmawa.”
9 And it was in the morning and he went out and he stood and he said to all the people [are] righteous you here! I I conspired on master my and I killed him and who? did he strike down all these.
Mmawa mwake Yehu anatuluka. Iye anayimirira pamaso pa anthu onse ndipo anati, “Inu ndinu osalakwa. Ndine amene ndinachita chiwembu mbuye wanu ndi kumupha, koma kodi wapha anthu onsewa ndani?
10 Know then that not it will fall any of [the] word of Yahweh [the] ground towards which he has spoken Yahweh on [the] house of Ahab and Yahweh he has done [that] which he spoke by [the] hand of servant his Elijah.
Koma dziwani tsono, kuti mawu amene Yehova anayankhula kunena za banja la Ahabu sadzapita padera. Yehova wachita chimene analonjeza kudzera mwa mtumiki wake Eliya.”
11 And he struck down Jehu all those [who] remained of [the] house of Ahab in Jezreel and all great [men] his and acquaintances his and priests his until not he had left to him a survivor.
Choncho Yehu anapha onse amene anatsala a mʼbanja la Ahabu ku Yezireeli, pamodzinso ndi akuluakulu ake onse, abwenzi ake ndiponso ansembe ake, sanasiyeko ndi mmodzi yemwe wamoyo.
12 And he arose and he went and he went Samaria he [was at] Beth Eked of [the] Shepherds on [the] way.
Kenaka Yehu ananyamuka kupita ku Samariya. Atafika pa malo otchedwa Beti-Ekedi wa abusa,
13 And Jehu he found [the] brothers of Ahaziah [the] king of Judah and he said who? [are] you and they said [are] [the] brothers of Ahaziah we and we have come down for [the] peace of [the] sons of the king and [the] sons of the queen-mother.
Yehu anakumana ndi abale ena a Ahaziya mfumu ya Yuda nawafunsa kuti, “Kodi ndinu yani?” Iwo anayankha kuti, “Ndife abale ake a Ahaziya, ndipo tabwera kulonjera banja la mfumu ndi ana a mfumukazi.”
14 And he said seize them alive and they seized them alive and they slaughtered them to [the] pit of Beth Eked forty and two man and not he spared anyone from them.
Yehu analamula kuti, “Atengeni amoyo!” Choncho anawatenga amoyo ndipo anakawaphera ku chitsime cha ku malo otchedwa Beti-Ekedi wa abusa; anthu onse 42. Iye sanasiyepo ndi mmodzi yemwe wamoyo.
15 And he went from there and he found Jonadab [the] son of Rechab to meet him and he blessed him and he said to him ¿ [is] there with heart your right just as heart my [is] with heart your and he said Jonadab there is and there is give! hand your and he gave hand his and he took up him to himself into the chariot.
Yehu atachoka kumeneko anakumana ndi Yehonadabu mwana wa Rekabu, amene amabwera kudzakumana naye. Yehu anamulonjera nati kwa iye, “Kodi mtima wako uli bwino monga momwe mtima wanga ugwirizana nawo mtima wako?” Yehonadabu anayankha kuti, “Inde ndikugwirizana nawe.” Yehu anati, “Ngati ndi choncho, gwire dzanja.” Ndipo iye anaterodi, ndipo Yehu anamugwira dzanja namulowetsa mʼgaleta lake.
16 And he said come! with me and look on zeal my for Yahweh and they made ride him in chariot his.
Yehu anati, “Tiye kuno uwone mmene ndikudziperekera kwa Yehova.” Ndipo anayenda naye mʼgaleta mwake.
17 And he came Samaria and he struck down all those [who] remained of Ahab in Samaria until he had destroyed him according to [the] word of Yahweh which he had spoken to Elijah.
Yehu atafika ku Samariya, anapha onse amene anatsala a mʼbanja la Ahabu ku Samariya; anawawonongeratu potsata mawu a Yehova amene anayankhula kudzera mwa Eliya.
18 And he gathered Jehu all the people and he said to them Ahab he served Baal a little Jehu he will serve him much.
Ndipo Yehu anasonkhanitsa anthu onse pamodzi nawawuza kuti, “Ahabu ankatumikira Baala pangʼono chabe; Yehu adzamutumikira kwambiri.
19 And therefore all [the] prophets of Baal all [those who] serve him and all priests his summon to me anyone may not he be missing for a sacrifice great [belongs] to me to Baal any [one] who he will be missing not he will live and Jehu he acted with guile so as to destroy [those who] serve Baal.
Tsopano itanani aneneri a Baala onse, atumiki ake onse ndi ansembe ake onse. Pasapezeke ndi mmodzi yemwe wotsala chifukwa ine ndidzapereka nsembe yayikulu kwa Baala. Aliyense amene alephere kubwera adzaphedwa.” Koma Yehu anachita zimenezi mwachinyengo ndi cholinga choti awononge atumiki onse a Baala.
20 And he said Jehu consecrate an assembly to Baal and they proclaimed [it].
Yehu anati, “Itanitsani msonkhano wodzalemekeza Baala.” Ndipo analengeza za msonkhanowo.
21 And he sent Jehu in all Israel and they came all [those who] serve Baal and not he was left anyone who not he came and they went [the] house of Baal and it was filled [the] house of Baal mouth to mouth.
Pamenepo Yehu anatumiza mawu ku dziko lonse la Israeli ndipo atumiki onse a Baala anabwera; palibe ndi mmodzi yemwe amene anatsala. Iwo anadzaza nyumba ya Baala. Nyumbayo inadzaziratu kuchokera ku khoma lina mpaka ku khoma lina.
22 And he said to [the one] who [was] over the wardrobe bring out clothing for all [those who] serve Baal and he brought out for them the clothing.
Ndipo Yehu anawuza munthu wosunga mikanjo kuti, “Bweretsa mikanjo yokwanira atumiki onse a Baala.” Ndipo iye anabweretsa mikanjoyo.
23 And he went Jehu and Jonadab [the] son of Rechab [the] house of Baal and he said to [those who] serve Baal search and see lest there here with you [be] any of [the] servants of Yahweh that except [those who] serve Baal to alone them.
Kenaka Yehu ndi Yehonadabu mwana wa Rekabu analowa mʼnyumba ya Baala. Yehu anawawuza atumiki a Baala kuti, “Yangʼanitsitsani ndipo muone kuti muno musapezeke atumiki a Yehova, koma mukhale atumiki okhawo a Baala.”
24 And they went to offer sacrifices and burnt offerings and Jehu he had stationed himself on the outside eighty man and he had said the man who he will escape from the men whom I [am] bringing on hands your life his in place of life his.
Choncho Yehu analowa kukapereka nsembe zina ndi nsembe zopsereza. Nthawi iyi nʼkuti Yehu atayika anthu 80 kunja kwa nyumbayo ndi chenjezo lakuti, “Ngati wina aliyense wa inu adzathawitsa wina aliyense wa anthu amene ndayika kuti muziwayangʼanira, munthu woteroyo adzaphedwa.”
25 And it was when finished he - to offer the burnt offering and he said Jehu to the runners and to the officers go strike down them anyone may not he come out and they struck down them to [the] mouth of [the] sword and they threw [them] out the runners and the officers and they went to [the] city of [the] house of Baal.
Yehu atangotsiriza kupereka nsembe yopsereza, analamula alonda ndi akulu a ankhondo kuti, “Lowani ndipo mukawaphe ndipo musalole kuti wina athawe.” Choncho iwo anawapha ndi lupanga. Alonda ndi akulu a ankhondo anaponya mitembo ya anthuwo panja ndipo anakalowa mʼkati mwenimweni mwa nyumba ya Baala.
26 And they brought out [the] sacred pillars of [the] house of Baal and they burned it.
Iwo anakatulutsa mwala wopatulika umene unali mʼnyumba ya Baala ndipo anawutentha.
27 And they pulled down [the] sacred pillar of Baal and they pulled down [the] house of Baal and they made it (outhouses *Q(K)*) until this day.
Anawononga mwala wopatulika wa Baala ndi kugwetsa nyumba ya Baala, ndipo anthu anayisandutsa chimbudzi mpaka lero lino.
28 And he destroyed Jehu Baal from Israel.
Motero Yehu anawononga Baala mu Israeli.
29 Only [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel not he turned aside Jehu from after them [the] calves of gold which [were] Beth-el and which [were] in Dan.
Koma Yehuyo sanaleke machimo a Yeroboamu mwana wa Nebati amene anachimwitsa nawo Israeli kupembedza mafano a golide a ana angʼombe ku Beteli ndi ku Dani.
30 And he said Yahweh to Jehu because that you have done well by doing the right in view my according to all that [was] in heart my you have done to [the] house of Ahab descendants of [the] fourth [generation] they will sit of you on [the] throne of Israel.
Yehova anati kwa Yehu, “Chifukwa wachita bwino pokwaniritsa kuchita zabwino pamaso panga ndipo wachitira banja la Ahabu zonse zimene zinali mʼmaganizo anga, zidzukulu zako zidzakhala pa mpando waufumu wa Israeli mpaka mʼbado wachinayi.”
31 And Jehu not he took care to walk in [the] law of Yahweh [the] God of Israel with all heart his not he turned aside from on [the] sins of Jeroboam which he caused to sin Israel.
Komatu Yehu sanasamalire kusunga lamulo la Yehova Mulungu wa Israeli ndi mtima wake wonse. Iyeyo sanaleke machimo a Yeroboamu amene anachimwitsa nawo Israeli.
32 In the days those he began Yahweh to cut off in Israel and he struck down them Hazael in all [the] territory of Israel.
Masiku amenewo Yehova anayamba kuchepetsa dziko la Israeli. Hazaeli anagonjetsa Aisraeli,
33 From the Jordan [the] rising of the sun all [the] land of Gilead the Gadite[s] and the Reubenite[s] and the Manassite[s] from Aroer which [is] at [the] wadi of Arnon and Gilead and Bashan.
kuyambira kummawa kwa Yorodani, dziko lonse la Giliyadi (chigawo cha Gadi, Rubeni ndi Manase), kuchokera ku Aroeri pafupi ndi chigwa cha Arinoni kudutsa Giliyadi mpaka ku Basani.
34 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jehu and all that he did and all might his ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
Ntchito zina za Yehu ndi zonse zimene anachita, kodi sizinalembedwe mʼbuku la mbiri ya mafumu a ku Israeli?
35 And he lay down Jehu with ancestors his and people buried him in Samaria and he became king Jehoahaz son his in place of him.
Yehu anamwalira ndipo anayikidwa mʼmanda pamodzi ndi makolo ake ku Samariya. Ndipo Yehowahazi mwana wake analowa ufumu mʼmalo mwake.
36 And the days which he reigned Jehu over Israel [were] twenty and eight year[s] in Samaria.
Yehu analamulira Aisraeli ku Samariya zaka 28.
