2 Corinthians 9
1 Concerning now for the service for the saints excessive for me it is to write to you;
Về việc cứu trợ các tín hữu, thiết tưởng tôi không cần đề cập nữa.
2 I know for the readiness of you which concerning you I boast of to Macedonians, that Achaia has prepared itself from a year ago, and (*N(k)O*) (from *k*) your zeal has been provoking the greater number.
Tôi biết anh chị em sốt sắng giúp đỡ, như tôi từng khoe với các tín hữu Ma-xê-đoan rằng người Hy Lạp đã sẵn sàng từ năm trước, và nhiệt tâm của họ đã khích lệ nhiều Hội Thánh.
3 I have sent however the brothers, that not the boasting of us which [is] about you may be made void in matter this, that even as I was saying having prepared yourselves you may be,
Tôi gửi các anh ấy đến để xác nhận lời tôi đề cao anh chị em là đúng, như tôi từng nói: Anh chị em đã chuẩn bị sẵn sàng.
4 lest perhaps maybe shall come with me myself Macedonians and shall find you unprepared, shall be put to shame we ourselves — that not (I may say *N(k)O*) you yourselves — in confidence this (of boasting. *K*)
Nếu người Ma-xê-đoan cùng đi với tôi thấy anh chị em không sẵn sàng, chính chúng tôi—chứ không phải anh chị em—sẽ phải hổ thẹn vì tín nhiệm anh chị em.
5 Necessary therefore I esteemed [it] to exhort the brothers that they may go before (into *NK(o)*) you and may complete beforehand the (having pre-promised *N(K)O*) blessing of you this ready to be thus as a blessing and not (as *N(k)O*) covetousness.
Nên tôi nhờ ba thân hữu ấy đến thăm anh chị em trước để chuẩn bị việc quyên trợ như anh chị em đã hứa. Tôi muốn cuộc lạc quyên thực hiện do từ tâm, chứ không bị ép buộc.
6 This now: The [one] sowing sparingly sparingly also will reap, and the [one] sowing upon blessings upon blessings also will reap.
Anh chị em nên nhớ—Ai gieo ít thì gặt ít. Ai gieo nhiều sẽ gặt nhiều.
7 each even as (he himself has purposed *N(k)O*) in the heart, not out of regret or of necessity; a cheerful for giver loves God.
Mỗi người đóng góp tùy theo lòng mình. Đừng ép buộc ai quyên trợ quá điều họ muốn. “Vì Đức Chúa Trời yêu thương người vui lòng dâng hiến.”
8 (is able *N(k)O*) now God all grace to make abound to you, so that in every [way] always all sufficiency having you may abound in every work good
Đức Chúa Trời ban ơn phước dồi dào để anh chị em luôn luôn đầy đủ mọi nhu cầu và còn dư sức làm mọi việc lành.
9 Even as it has been written: He has scattered abroad, He has given to the poor, the righteousness of Him abides to the age. (aiōn g165)
Như Thánh Kinh chép: “Người phân phát của cải cứu giúp người nghèo. Ân đức người tồn tại mãi mãi.” (aiōn g165)
10 The [One] now supplying (seed *N(k)O*) to him sowing and bread for food (will supply *N(k)O*) and (will multiply *N(k)O*) the seed for sowing of you and (will increase *N(k)O*) the (fruits *N(k)O*) of the righteousness of you.
Đức Chúa Trời cung cấp hạt giống cho người gieo để thu hoạch lương thực, chính Ngài sẽ cung cấp hạt giống cho anh chị em, khiến nó sinh sản thêm nhiều, nhờ đó anh chị em có thể gia tăng việc từ thiện.
11 in every [way] enriching you to all generosity, which produces through us thanksgiving to God,
Như thế anh chị em được giàu có dư dật là để cứu trợ rộng rãi, và khi chúng tôi trao lại tặng phẩm ấy, người nhận sẽ dâng lời tạ ơn Chúa.
12 For the ministry of the service this not only is completely filling up the needs of the saints but also is overflowing through many thanksgivings to God;
Vì công cuộc lạc quyên tương trợ này, ngoài mục đích thỏa mãn nhu cầu các tín hữu, còn giúp nhiều người lớn tiếng tạ ơn Đức Chúa Trời.
13 through the proof of the service this [they] glorifying God at the submission of the of confession of you to the gospel of Christ and to [the] generosity of the participation toward them and toward all,
Họ ca ngợi Đức Chúa Trời vì nghĩa cử này minh chứng hùng hồn rằng anh chị em thật lòng tin nhận Phúc Âm của Chúa Cứu Thế. Họ tôn vinh Chúa vì anh chị em rộng lòng giúp đỡ họ và mọi người.
14 and by their supplication for you a longing for you on account of the surpassing grace of God upon you.
Họ sẽ thành tâm cầu nguyện cho anh chị em, vì ơn phước dồi dào Đức Chúa Trời ban cho anh chị em.
15 Thanks [be] (now *k*) to God for the indescribable of Him gift!
Cảm tạ Đức Chúa Trời vì tặng phẩm Ngài ban cho vô cùng vĩ đại!
