2 Corinthians 5
1 We know for that if the earthly of us house the tent shall be destroyed, a building from God we have, a house not made with hands eternal in the heavens. (aiōnios g166)
Nous savons, en effet, que si la maison terrestre qui nous sert de tente est détruite, nous avons un édifice qui vient de Dieu, une maison non faite de main d'homme, éternelle, dans les cieux. (aiōnios g166)
2 And indeed in this we groan, the dwelling of us which [is] from heaven to be clothed with longing;
C'est là, en effet, que nous gémissons, désirant ardemment être revêtus de la demeure qui est dans les cieux,
3 (If even *NK(o)*) even (having put off *N(K)O*) not naked we will be found.
si toutefois, étant revêtus, nous ne devons pas être trouvés nus.
4 And for those being in the tent we groan being burdened, (because *N(k)O*) that not we do wish to be unclothed but to be clothed, that may be swallowed up the mortal by life.
En effet, nous qui sommes dans cette tente, nous gémissons et nous sommes accablés, non que nous désirions être dépouillés, mais nous désirons être revêtus, afin que la vie engloutisse ce qui est mortel.
5 The [One] now having prepared us for very this [is] God, (and *k*) having given to us the pledge of the Spirit.
Or, celui qui nous a créés pour cela, c'est Dieu, qui nous a aussi donné l'acompte de l'Esprit.
6 being confident therefore always and knowing that being at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord;
C'est pourquoi nous sommes toujours confiants et nous savons que, pendant que nous sommes chez nous dans le corps, nous sommes absents du Seigneur;
7 through faith for we walk, not through sight,
car nous marchons par la foi et non par la vue.
8 We are confident now and we are pleased rather to be absent out of the body and to be at home with the Lord.
Nous sommes courageux, dis-je, et nous voulons plutôt être absents du corps et être chez nous avec le Seigneur.
9 Therefore also we are ambitious, whether being at home or being away, well-pleasing to Him to be;
C'est pourquoi nous nous efforçons de lui être agréables, que nous soyons chez nous ou absents.
10 For all of us to be revealed it behooves before the judgment seat of Christ, that may receive back each the [things done] in the body according to what he did, whether good or (evil. *N(k)O*)
Car il faut que nous soyons tous révélés devant le tribunal du Christ, afin que chacun reçoive ce qui lui revient dans le corps selon ce qu'il a fait, en bien ou en mal.
11 Knowing therefore the fear of the Lord men we persuade to God and we have been made manifest; I hope now also in the consciences of you to have been made manifest.
Connaissant donc la crainte du Seigneur, nous persuadons les hommes, mais nous sommes révélés à Dieu, et j'espère que nous sommes aussi révélés dans vos consciences.
12 Not (for *k*) again ourselves are we commending to you, but occasion are giving to you of boasting on behalf of us, so that you may have [an answer] toward those in appearance boasting and (not *N(k)O*) (in *no*) [the] heart.
Car nous ne nous recommandons pas de nouveau à vous, mais nous parlons comme pour vous donner l'occasion de vous glorifier en notre faveur, afin que vous ayez de quoi répondre à ceux qui se glorifient en apparence et non dans le cœur.
13 If for we are crazy, [it is] for God; or if we are sober-minded [it is] for you.
Car si nous sommes hors de nous-mêmes, c'est pour Dieu. Et si nous sommes sobres d'esprit, c'est pour vous.
14 The for love of Christ compels us having concluded this, that (if *k*) One for all has died; therefore all have died.
Car l'amour du Christ nous y contraint; car nous jugeons ainsi: un seul est mort pour tous, donc tous sont morts.
15 And for all He died, that those living no longer to themselves may live but to the [One] for them having died and having been raised again.
Il est mort pour tous, afin que ceux qui vivent ne vivent plus pour eux-mêmes, mais pour celui qui, pour eux, est mort et ressuscité.
16 Therefore we ourselves from now no [one] know according to [the] flesh; If (now *k*) even we have regarded according to flesh Christ, yet now no longer no longer we regard [Him thus].
C'est pourquoi nous ne connaissons désormais personne selon la chair. Si nous avons connu le Christ selon la chair, maintenant nous ne le connaissons plus ainsi.
17 Therefore if anyone [is] in Christ, [he is] a new creation; The old things have passed away, behold has come into being new (all things. *K*)
Ainsi, si quelqu'un est en Christ, il est une nouvelle création. Les choses anciennes ont disparu. Voici, toutes choses sont devenues nouvelles.
18 And all things [are] of God the [One who] having reconciled us to Himself through (Jesus *K*) Christ and having given to us the ministry of reconciliation,
Or, tout vient de Dieu, qui nous a réconciliés avec lui par Jésus-Christ, et qui nous a confié le ministère de la réconciliation,
19 how for God was in Christ [the] world reconciling to Himself, not reckoning to them the trespasses of them, and having put into us the word of reconciliation.
c'est-à-dire que Dieu a réconcilié le monde avec lui-même en Christ, sans leur imputer leurs fautes, et qu'il nous a confié la parole de la réconciliation.
20 For Christ therefore we are ambassadors, as though God is beseeching through us; We implore on behalf of Christ: do be reconciled to God.
Nous sommes donc ambassadeurs au nom du Christ, comme si Dieu priait par nous: nous vous en supplions au nom du Christ, soyez réconciliés avec Dieu.
21 The [One] (for *k*) not having known sin for us sin He made, so that we ourselves (may become *N(k)O*) [the] righteousness of God in Him.
Car celui qui n'a pas connu le péché, il l'a fait devenir péché à notre place, afin que nous devenions en lui la justice de Dieu.
