< 2 Corinthians 11 >
1 I wish you were bearing with me little (a *no*) (*k*) (of foolishness; *N(k)O*) but indeed you do endure me.
yUyaM mamAj nAnatAM kShaNaM yAvat soDhum arhatha, ataH sA yuShmAbhiH sahyatAM|
2 I am jealous as to for you of God with [the] jealousy; I have betrothed for you to one husband a virgin pure to present to Christ,
Ishvare mamAsaktatvAd ahaM yuShmAnadhi tape yasmAt satIM kanyAmiva yuShmAn ekasmin vare. arthataH khrIShTe samarpayitum ahaM vAgdAnam akArShaM|
3 I am afraid however lest perhaps as the serpent deceived Eve in the craftiness of him, (thus *k*) may be corrupted the minds of you from the simplicity (and the purity *NO*) in Christ.
kintu sarpeNa svakhalatayA yadvad havA va nchayA nchake tadvat khrIShTaM prati satItvAd yuShmAkaM bhraMshaH sambhaviShyatIti bibhemi|
4 If indeed for the [one] coming another Jesus proclaims whom not we did proclaim, or a spirit different you receive which not you did receive, or glad tidings different which not you did accept, well (you are enduring [it]. *N(k)(o)*)
asmAbhiranAkhyApito. aparaH kashchid yIshu ryadi kenachid AgantukenAkhyApyate yuShmAbhiH prAgalabdha AtmA vA yadi labhyate prAgagR^ihItaH susaMvAdo vA yadi gR^ihyate tarhi manye yUyaM samyak sahiShyadhve|
5 I reckon for in nothing to have been inferior to those most eminent most eminent apostles.
kintu mukhyebhyaH preritebhyo. ahaM kenachit prakAreNa nyUno nAsmIti budhye|
6 If however even unpolished in speech [I am], yet not in knowledge, but in every [way] (were manifested *N(k)O*) in all things to you.
mama vAkpaTutAyA nyUnatve satyapi j nAnasya nyUnatvaM nAsti kintu sarvvaviShaye vayaM yuShmadgochare prakAshAmahe|
7 Or a sin did I commit myself humbling so that you yourselves may be exalted, because freely the of God gospel I evangelised to you?
yuShmAkam unnatyai mayA namratAM svIkR^ityeshvarasya susaMvAdo vinA vetanaM yuShmAkaM madhye yad aghoShyata tena mayA kiM pApam akAri?
8 Other churches I robbed having received support for the toward you service,
yuShmAkaM sevanAyAham anyasamitibhyo bhR^iti gR^ihlan dhanamapahR^itavAn,
9 And being present with you and having been in need not I did burden no [one]; for the need of mine completely filled up the brothers having come from Macedonia, and in everything unburdensome myself to you I kept and will keep.
yadA cha yuShmanmadhye. ava. artte tadA mamArthAbhAve jAte yuShmAkaM ko. api mayA na pIDitaH; yato mama so. arthAbhAvo mAkidaniyAdeshAd Agatai bhrAtR^ibhi nyavAryyata, itthamahaM kkApi viShaye yathA yuShmAsu bhAro na bhavAmi tathA mayAtmarakShA kR^itA karttavyA cha|
10 Is [the] truth of Christ in me myself that boasting this not (will be stopped *N(k)O*) of mine in the regions of Achaia.
khrIShTasya satyatA yadi mayi tiShThati tarhi mamaiShA shlAghA nikhilAkhAyAdeshe kenApi na rotsyate|
11 Because of why? Because surely I do love you? God knows [I do]!
etasya kAraNaM kiM? yuShmAsu mama prema nAstyetat kiM tatkAraNaM? tad Ishvaro vetti|
12 What however I do, also I will do, so that I may cut off the opportunity of those desiring an opportunity that in what they are boasting, they may be found even as also we ourselves.
ye ChidramanviShyanti te yat kimapi ChidraM na labhante tadarthameva tat karmma mayA kriyate kAriShyate cha tasmAt te yena shlAghante tenAsmAkaM samAnA bhaviShyanti|
13 For such [are] false apostles, workers deceitful, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ;
tAdR^ishA bhAktapreritAH prava nchakAH kAravo bhUtvA khrIShTasya preritAnAM veshaM dhArayanti|
14 And no (wonder; *N(k)O*) himself for Satan masquerades as an angel of light;
tachchAshcharyyaM nahi; yataH svayaM shayatAnapi tejasvidUtasya veshaM dhArayati,
15 [It is] not surprising therefore if even the servants of him masquerade as servants of righteousness whose end will be according to the deeds of them.
tatastasya parichArakA api dharmmaparichArakANAM veshaM dhArayantItyadbhutaM nahi; kintu teShAM karmmANi yAdR^ishAni phalAnyapi tAdR^ishAni bhaviShyanti|
16 Again I say, no one me may think a fool to be; lest then except indeed even even as a fool do receive me, that I myself also I myself also little a may boast.
ahaM puna rvadAmi ko. api mAM nirbbodhaM na manyatAM ki ncha yadyapi nirbbodho bhaveyaM tathApi yUyaM nirbbodhamiva mAmanugR^ihya kShaNaikaM yAvat mamAtmashlAghAm anujAnIta|
17 What I am saying, not according to [the] Lord am I saying but as in foolishness, in this the confidence of boasting.
etasyAH shlAghAyA nimittaM mayA yat kathitavyaM tat prabhunAdiShTeneva kathyate tannahi kintu nirbbodheneva|
18 Since many boast according to (the *ko*) flesh, I myself also I myself also will boast.
apare bahavaH shArIrikashlAghAM kurvvate tasmAd ahamapi shlAghiShye|
19 Gladly for you bear with fools, wise being!
buddhimanto yUyaM sukhena nirbbodhAnAm AchAraM sahadhve|
20 You bear [it] for if anyone you enslaves, if anyone devours [you], if anyone takes [from you], if anyone exalts himself, if anyone in [the] face you strikes.
ko. api yadi yuShmAn dAsAn karoti yadi vA yuShmAkaM sarvvasvaM grasati yadi vA yuShmAn harati yadi vAtmAbhimAnI bhavati yadi vA yuShmAkaM kapolam Ahanti tarhi tadapi yUyaM sahadhve|
21 As to dishonor I speak, as that we ourselves (have been weak! *N(k)O*) In whatever however maybe anyone may be daring — in foolishness I speak — am daring I myself also. I myself also.
daurbbalyAd yuShmAbhiravamAnitA iva vayaM bhAShAmahe, kintvaparasya kasyachid yena pragalbhatA jAyate tena mamApi pragalbhatA jAyata iti nirbbodheneva mayA vaktavyaM|
22 Hebrews are they? I myself also; I myself also; Israelites are they? I myself also; I myself also; Descendants of Abraham are they? I myself also; I myself also;
te kim ibrilokAH? ahamapIbrI| te kim isrAyelIyAH? ahamapIsrAyelIyaH| te kim ibrAhImo vaMshAH? ahamapIbrAhImo vaMshaH|
23 Servants of Christ are they? As being beside myself I speak; above [measure] I myself[am]. in labors more abundantly in imprisonments more abundantly, in beatings above measure, in deaths often.
te kiM khrIShTasya parichArakAH? ahaM tebhyo. api tasya mahAparichArakaH; kintu nirbbodha iva bhAShe, tebhyo. apyahaM bahuparishrame bahuprahAre bahuvAraM kArAyAM bahuvAraM prANanAshasaMshaye cha patitavAn|
24 From [the] Jews five times forty [lashes] minus one I received,
yihUdIyairahaM pa nchakR^itva UnachatvAriMshatprahArairAhatastrirvetrAghAtam ekakR^itvaH prastarAghAta ncha praptavAn|
25 Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, three times I was shipwrecked, a night and a day in the deep [sea] I have passed;
vAratrayaM potabha njanena kliShTo. aham agAdhasalile dinamekaM rAtrimekA ncha yApitavAn|
26 in journeyings often, in perils of rivers, in perils of robbers, in perils from [my own] race, in perils from [the] Gentiles, in perils in [the] city, in perils in [the] wilderness, in perils on [the] sea, in perils among false brothers,
bahuvAraM yAtrAbhi rnadInAM sa NkaTai rdasyUnAM sa NkaTaiH svajAtIyAnAM sa NkaTai rbhinnajAtIyAnAM sa NkaTai rnagarasya sa NkaTai rmarubhUmeH sa NkaTai sAgarasya sa NkaTai rbhAktabhrAtR^iNAM sa NkaTaishcha
27 (in *k*) labor and toil, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness;
parishramakleshAbhyAM vAraM vAraM jAgaraNena kShudhAtR^iShNAbhyAM bahuvAraM nirAhAreNa shItanagnatAbhyA nchAhaM kAlaM yApitavAn|
28 Besides the [things] external the (stoppage on me *N(k)O*) on every day [is my] care for all the churches.
tAdR^ishaM naimittikaM duHkhaM vinAhaM pratidinam Akulo bhavAmi sarvvAsAM samitInAM chintA cha mayi varttate|
29 Who is weak, and not I am weak? Who is led into sin, and surely I myself do burn inwardly?
yenAhaM na durbbalIbhavAmi tAdR^ishaM daurbbalyaM kaH pApnoti?
30 If to boast it behooves [me], [in] the [things] of the weakness of mine I will boast.
yadi mayA shlAghitavyaM tarhi svadurbbalatAmadhi shlAghiShye|
31 The God and Father of the Lord (of us *k*) Jesus (Christ *K*) knows, who is being blessed to the ages, that not I am lying. (aiōn )
mayA mR^iShAvAkyaM na kathyata iti nityaM prashaMsanIyo. asmAkaM prabho ryIshukhrIShTasya tAta Ishvaro jAnAti| (aiōn )
32 In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king was guarding the city of the Damascenes to seize me (wishing *KO*)
dammeShakanagare. aritArAjasya kAryyAdhyakSho mAM dharttum ichChan yadA sainyaistad dammeShakanagaram arakShayat
33 But through a window in a basket I was let down through the wall and I escaped the hands of him.
tadAhaM lokaiH piTakamadhye prAchIragavAkSheNAvarohitastasya karAt trANaM prApaM|
