2 Chronicles 1
1 And he strengthened himself Solomon [the] son of David over kingdom his and Yahweh God his [was] with him and he made great him upwards.
Salomo, der Sohn Davids, befestigte sich in seinem Königtum, und Jahwe, sein Gott, war mit ihm und ließ ihn überaus herrlich werden.
2 And he spoke Solomon to all Israel to [the] commanders of the thousands and the hundreds and to the judges and to every leader of all Israel [the] heads of the fathers.
Und Salomo ließ Befehl ergehen an ganz Israel, an die Anführer der Tausendschaften und der Hundertschaften, an die Richter und alle Fürsten in ganz Israel, die Familienhäupter,
3 And they went Solomon and all the assembly with him to the high place which [was] at Gibeon for there it was [the] tent of meeting of God which he had made Moses [the] servant of Yahweh in the wilderness.
und so zog Salomo mit der ganzen Volksgemeinde nach der Opferhöhe zu Gibeon. Denn dort befand sich das Offenbarungszelt Gottes, welches Mose, der Knecht Jahwes, in der Steppe angefertigt hatte.
4 But [the] ark of God he had brought up David from Kiriath Jearim in where he had prepared for it David for he had pitched for it a tent in Jerusalem.
(Dagegen die Lade Gottes hatte David aus Kirjath Jearim heraufgebracht an den Ort, den David für sie hergerichtet hatte; denn er hatte zu Jerusalem ein Zelt für sie aufgeschlagen.)
5 And [the] altar of bronze which he had made Bezalel [the] son of Uri [the] son of Hur he had put before [the] tabernacle of Yahweh and he sought it Solomon and the assembly.
Auch der kupferne Altar, den Bezaleel, der Sohn Uris, des Sohnes Hurs, angefertigt hatte, stand dort vor der Wohnung Jahwes, und Salomo und die Volksgemeinde suchten dort Jahwe.
6 And he went up Solomon there to [the] altar of bronze before Yahweh which [was] to [the] tent of meeting and he offered up on it burnt offerings a thousand.
Und Salomo opferte dort auf dem kupfernen Altar vor Jahwe, der zum Offenbarungszelte gehörte, und brachte auf ihm tausend Brandopfer dar.
7 In the night that he appeared God to Solomon and he said to him ask what? will I give to you.
In jener Nacht nun erschien Gott dem Salomo und sprach zu ihm: Bitte, was ich dir geben soll!
8 And he said Solomon to God you you have done with David father my covenant loyalty great and you have made king me in place of him.
Da antwortete Salomo Gotte: Du hast meinem Vater David große Huld erwiesen und hast mich an seiner Statt zum Könige gemacht.
9 Now O Yahweh God let it be established word your with David father my for you you have made king me over a people numerous like [the] dust of the earth.
Möge nun, Gott Jahwe, deine Verheißung an meinen Vater David in Kraft treten! Denn du hast mich zum Könige gemacht über ein Volk, das so zahlreich ist, wie die Krümchen der Erde.
10 Now wisdom and knowledge give to me so let me go out before the people this so I may come for who? will he judge people your this great.
So verleihe mir nun Weisheit und Einsicht, damit ich gegenüber diesem Volk aus und ein wisse; denn wer vermöchte sonst dieses dein großes Volk zu regieren?
11 And he said God - to Solomon because that it was this with heart your and not you have asked for wealth riches and honor and [the] life of [those who] hate you and also days many not you have asked for and you have asked for for yourself wisdom and knowledge that you will judge people my which I have made king you over it.
Da sprach Gott zu Salomo: Weil du solches im Sinne führtest und nicht um Reichtum, Schätze und Ehre oder den Tod deiner Hasser, auch nicht um langes Leben gebeten hast, sondern dir Weisheit und Einsicht erbatest, um mein Volk, über das ich dich zum Könige gemacht habe, regieren zu können,
12 The wisdom and the knowledge [is] given to you and wealth and riches and honor I will give to you which - not it belonged thus to the kings who [were] before you and after you not it will be thus.
so sei dir die erbetene Weisheit und Einsicht verliehen. Aber auch Reichtum, Schätze und Ehre will ich dir verleihen, dergleichen kein König vor dir besessen, noch nach dir jemals besitzen wird!
13 And he went Solomon to the high place which [was] at Gibeon Jerusalem from to before [the] tent of meeting and he reigned over Israel.
Sodann begab sich Salomo von der Höhe zu Gibeon, von dem Platze vor dem Offenbarungszelte wieder nach Jerusalem und herrschte über Israel.
14 And he gathered Solomon chariot[s] and warhorses and it belonged to him one thousand and four hundred chariot[s] and two [plus] ten thousand warhorses and he placed them in [the] cities of chariotry and with the king in Jerusalem.
Und Salomo beschaffte zahlreiche Wagen und Reiter, und zwar besaß er 1400 Wagen und 12000 Reiter; die legte er in die Wagenstädte und in die Umgebung des Königs zu Jerusalem.
15 And he made the king silver and gold in Jerusalem like stones and cedars he made like the sycamores which [are] in the Shephelah for abundance.
Und der König machte, daß das Silber und das Gold zu Jerusalem an Menge den Steinen gleichkam, und die Cedern den Maulbeerfeigenbäumen, die in der Niederung wachsen.
16 And [the] export of the horses which [belonged] to Solomon [was] from Egypt and from Que [the] traders of the king from Que they took [them] for a price.
Und die Ausfuhr der Rosse Salomos erfolgte aus Ägypten, und zwar pflegten die königlichen Händler einen Zug zu holen gegen Bezahlung,
17 And they brought up and they brought out from Egypt a chariot for six hundred silver and a horse for fifty and one hundred and thus to all [the] kings of the Hittites and [the] kings of Aram by hand their they brought [them] out.
so daß sie einen Wagen um 600 Silbersekel aus Ägypten heraufbrachten und ausführten, ein Pferd aber um 150. Und auf diese Weise wurden sie durch ihre Vermittelung an alle Könige der Hethiter und an die Könige der Aramäer ausgeführt.
