< 2 Chronicles 9 >
1 And [the] queen of Sheba she heard [the] report of Solomon and she came to put to [the] test Solomon by difficult matters in Jerusalem with a retinue numerous very and camels carrying spices and gold to abundance and stone[s] precious and she came to Solomon and she spoke with him all that it was with heart her.
Rĩrĩa mũthamaki-mũndũ-wa-nja wa Sheba aiguire ngumo ya Solomoni, agĩũka Jerusalemu kũmũgeria na ciũria nditũ. Agĩkinya arĩ na mũtongoro mũnene ma, wa ngamĩĩra ikuuĩte mahuti marĩa manungi wega, na thahabu nyingĩ mũno, na tũhiga twa goro, agĩthiĩ harĩ Solomoni, akĩaria nake maũndũ mothe marĩa maarĩ meciiria-inĩ make.
2 And he told to her Solomon all words her and not it was concealed a word from Solomon which not he told to her.
Nake Solomoni agĩcookia ciũria ciake ciothe; gũtirĩ ũndũ o na ũmwe aaremirwo nĩkũmũtaarĩria.
3 And she saw [the] queen of Sheba [the] wisdom of Solomon and the house which he had built.
Rĩrĩa mũthamaki-mũndũ-wa-nja ũcio wa Sheba onire ũũgĩ wa Solomoni, o na nyũmba ya ũthamaki ĩrĩa aakĩte,
4 And [the] food of table his and [the] seating of servants his and [the] standing of servants his and clothes their and cup-bearers his and clothes their and upper room his which he went up [the] house of Yahweh and not it was still in her breath.
na irio iria ciarĩ metha-inĩ yake, na ũrĩa anene ake maikaraga metha-inĩ, na ũrĩa ndungata iria ciatungataga ciehumbĩte, na ũrĩa akuui ikombe mehumbĩte nguo ndaaya, na maruta ma njino marĩa aarutagĩra hekarũ-inĩ ya Jehova, agĩkĩgega mũno.
5 And she said to the king [was] truth the word which I heard in own land my on words your and on wisdom your.
Akĩĩra mũthamaki atĩrĩ, “Ũhoro ũrĩa ndaiguire ndĩ o bũrũri-inĩ wakwa ũkoniĩ maũndũ marĩa wĩkĩte o na ũũgĩ waku nĩ ma ma.
6 And not I believed words their until that I came and they saw eyes my and here! not it was told to me [the] half of [the] greatness of wisdom your you have added to the report which I heard.
No ndietĩkirie ũrĩa moigaga nginya rĩrĩa ndĩrokire na ndĩreyonera na maitho makwa niĩ mwene. Ti-itherũ, ũrĩa ndeerirwo o na ti nuthu ya ũnene wa ũũgĩ waku; nĩũkĩrĩte mũno makĩria ũhoro ũrĩa ndaiguĩte.
7 How blessed! [are] people your and how blessed! [are] servants your these who stand before you continually and [who] hear wisdom your.
Kaĩ gũkena nĩ andũ aku-ĩ! Ningĩ gũkena nĩ anene aku arĩa marũgamaga mbere yaku hĩndĩ ciothe makaiguaga ũũgĩ waku!
8 May he be Yahweh God your blessed who - he has delighted in you to put you on throne his to king for Yahweh God your because loves God your Israel to make stand it for ever and he has appointed you over them to king to do justice and righteousness.
Jehova Ngai waku arogoocwo, ũrĩa ũkenetio nĩwe, na agagũikarĩria gĩtĩ-inĩ gĩake kĩa ũnene ũrĩ mũthamaki wa gũthamaka nĩ ũndũ wa Jehova Ngai waku. Tondũ wa ũrĩa Ngai waku endete Isiraeli, na akeerirĩria kũmanyiitĩrĩra nginya tene-rĩ, nĩagũtuĩte mũthamaki ũmathamakagĩre, nĩgeetha ũtũũrie kĩhooto na ũthingu.”
9 And she gave to the king one hundred and twenty - talent[s] of gold and spices to abundance exceedingly and stone[s] precious and not it has been like the spice that which she gave [the] queen of Sheba to the king Solomon.
Ningĩ akĩhe mũthamaki taranda 120 cia thahabu, na mahuti marĩa manungi wega maingĩ mũno na tũhiga twa goro. Gũtiakoretwo mahuti manungi wega ta macio mũthamaki-mũndũ-wa-nja ũcio wa Sheba aaheire Mũthamaki Solomoni.
10 And also [the] servants of (Huram *Q(K)*) and [the] servants of Solomon who they brought gold from Ophir they brought wood of algum and stone[s] precious.
(Nao andũ a Hiramu na andũ a Solomoni nĩmarehire thahabu kuuma Ofiri; o na nĩmarehire mĩtĩ ya mĩthandari na tũhiga twa goro.
11 And he made the king [the] wood of the algum tracks for [the] house of Yahweh and for [the] house of the king and harps and lyres for the singers and not they had been seen like them before in [the] land of Judah.
Mũthamaki aahũthĩrire mĩthandari ĩyo gwaka ngathĩ cia hekarũ ya Jehova o na cia nyũmba ya ũthamaki, na gũthondekera aini inanda cia mũgeeto o na cia kĩnũbi cia kũhũũrwo. Gũtiarĩ indo ta icio cionetwo Juda mbere ĩyo.)
12 And the king Solomon he gave to [the] queen of Sheba all desire her which she asked besides [that] which she had brought to the king and she turned and she went to own land her she and servants her.
Mũthamaki Solomoni nĩaheire mũthamaki-mũndũ-wa-nja wa Sheba kĩrĩa gĩothe eerirĩirie na kĩrĩa eetirie; akĩmũhe indo makĩria ma iria we aamũreheire. Mũthamaki mũndũ-wa-nja ũcio akiumagara hamwe na ndungata ciake, agĩcooka bũrũri wake mwene.
13 And it was [the] weight of the gold which it came to Solomon in a year one six hundred and sixty and six talents of gold.
Ũritũ wa thahabu ĩrĩa Solomoni aamũkagĩra o mwaka warĩ wa taranda 666,
14 Apart from [the] men of the merchants and the traders [were] bringing and all [the] kings of Arabia and [the] governors of the land [were] bringing gold and silver to Solomon.
ĩtataranĩirio na igooti rĩrĩa rĩarehagwo nĩ athũgũri na onjorithia. Ningĩ athamaki othe a Arabia na abarũthi a bũrũri nĩmarehagĩra Solomoni thahabu na betha.
15 And he made the king Solomon two hundred body shield[s] gold beaten six hundred gold beaten he put up on the body shield one.
Mũthamaki Solomoni agĩthondeka ngo nene 200 cia thahabu hũũre; o ĩmwe yathondeketwo na ũritũ wa beka 600 cia thahabu.
16 And three hundred shields gold beaten three hundred gold he put up on the shield one and he put them the king in [the] House of [the] Forest of Lebanon.
Ningĩ agĩthondeka ngo 300 cia thahabu hũũre, o ĩmwe yathondeketwo na thahabu ya ũritũ wa beka 300. Mũthamaki agĩciiga Nyũmba ya Ũthamaki ĩrĩa yetagwo Mũtitũ wa Lebanoni.
17 And he made the king a throne of ivory great and he overlaid it gold pure.
Ningĩ mũthamaki agĩthondeka gĩtĩ kĩnene kĩa ũthamaki kĩgemetio mwena wa na thĩinĩ na mĩguongo, na mwena wa na nja gĩkagemio na thahabu therie.
18 And six steps [belonged] to the throne and a footstool in gold to the throne [were] attached and hands from this and from this [were] on [the] place of the sitting and two lions [were] standing beside the hands.
Gĩtĩ kĩu kĩa ũnene kĩarĩ na ngathĩ ya makinya matandatũ, na gaturwa ga thahabu ga gũkinyithia magũrũ kanyiitithanĩtio nakĩo. Mĩena-inĩ yeerĩ ya gĩtĩ kĩu yarĩ na handũ ha kũigĩrĩra moko, na nĩ haarĩ na mĩhiano ya mĩrũũthi ĩrũgamĩte mĩena-inĩ yeerĩ ya moko macio.
19 And two [plus] ten lions [were] standing there on [the] six the steps from this and from this not it had been made thus for any kingdom.
Mĩhiano ikũmi na ĩĩrĩ ya mĩrũũthi yarũgamĩtio ngathĩ-inĩ ĩyo ya makinya matandatũ, narĩo o ikinya rĩa ngathĩ rĩarĩ na mũhiano wa mũrũũthi o mwena. Gũtiarĩ gĩtĩ kĩngĩ ta kĩu gĩathondeketwo mbere ĩyo ũthamaki-inĩ ũngĩ o wothe.
20 And all [the] vessels of [the] drink of the king Solomon [were] gold and all [the] utensils of [the] House of [the] Forest of Lebanon [were] gold pure gold not silver [was] esteemed in [the] days of Solomon to anything.
Indo ciothe iria Mũthamaki Solomoni aanyuuagĩra ciarĩ cia thahabu, na indo ciothe cia nyũmba iria ciarĩ Nyũmba ya Ũthamaki ĩrĩa yetagwo Mũtitũ wa Lebanoni ciarĩ cia thahabu therie. Gũtiarĩ kĩndũ gĩathondeketwo na betha, nĩgũkorwo betha yatuagwo kĩndũ gĩtarĩ bata mũno matukũ-inĩ macio ma Solomoni.
21 For ships of the king [were] going Tarshish with [the] servants of Huram one [time] to three years they came - ships of Tarshish carrying gold and silver ivori and monkeys and apes.
Mũthamaki aarĩ na marikabu nyingĩ cia wonjoria iria ciarũgamagĩrĩrwo nĩ andũ a Hiramu. Ciacookaga o riita rĩmwe thĩinĩ wa mĩaka ĩtatũ, ikuuĩte thahabu, na betha, na mĩguongo, na ngĩma, na nũgũ.
22 And he became great the king Solomon more than all [the] kings of the earth to wealth and wisdom.
Mũthamaki Solomoni aarĩ na ũtonga na ũũgĩ mũingĩ gũkĩra athamaki arĩa angĩ othe a thĩ.
23 And all [the] kings of the earth [were] seeking [the] face of Solomon to hear wisdom his which he had put God in heart his.
Athamaki othe a thĩ nĩmacaragia ũrĩa mangĩona Solomoni nĩguo maigue ũũgĩ ũrĩa Ngai eekĩrĩte ngoro-inĩ yake.
24 And they [were] bringing everyone gift his articles of silver and articles of gold and garments weaponry and spices horses and mules [the] matter of a year in a year.
Andũ arĩa mookaga kũmuona mwaka o mwaka nĩmamũrehagĩra iheo, nacio nĩ indo cia betha na thahabu, na nguo ndaaya, na indo cia mbaara, na mahuti manungi wega, na mbarathi na nyũmbũ.
25 And it belonged to Solomon four thousand stalls of horses and chariots and two [plus] ten thousand horsemen and he placed them in [the] cities of chariotry and with the king in Jerusalem.
Solomoni aarĩ na nyũmba 4,000 cia mbarathi na ngaari cia ita, na mbarathi 12,000 iria ciaigĩtwo matũũra-inĩ manene ma ngaari cia ita, na akaiga iria ingĩ hakuhĩ nake kũu Jerusalemu.
26 And he was ruling over all the kings from the river and to [the] land of [the] Philistines and to [the] border of Egypt.
Nake nĩathaga athamaki othe kuuma Rũũĩ rwa Farati nginya bũrũri wa Afilisti, o nginya mũhaka-inĩ wa bũrũri wa Misiri.
27 And he made the king silver in Jerusalem like stones and cedars he made like the sycamores which [are] in the Shephelah for abundance.
Mũthamaki nĩatũmire betha cingĩhe Jerusalemu o ta mahiga, nayo mĩtarakwa yarĩ mĩingĩ o ta mĩtĩ ya mĩkũyũ ĩrĩa ĩrĩ magũrũ-inĩ ma irĩma.
28 And [were] brought out horses from Egypt for Solomon and from all the lands.
Mbarathi cia Solomoni ciarehetwo kuuma bũrũri wa Misiri, na kuuma mabũrũri marĩa mangĩ mothe.
29 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Solomon former and latter ¿ not [are] they written on [the] words of Nathan the prophet and on [the] prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite and in [the] visions (Iddo *Q(K)*) the seer on Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat.
Maũndũ marĩa mangĩ makoniĩ wathani wa Solomoni, kuuma o kĩambĩrĩria nginya kĩrĩkĩro-rĩ, githĩ matiandĩkĩtwo maandĩko-inĩ ma Nathani ũrĩa mũnabii, na ũrathi-inĩ wa Ahija ũrĩa Mũshiloni, na cioneki-inĩ cia Ido ũrĩa wonaga maũndũ makoniĩ Jeroboamu mũrũ wa Nebati?
30 And he reigned Solomon in Jerusalem over all Israel forty year[s].
Solomoni aathamakĩire Isiraeli rĩothe arĩ Jerusalemu mĩaka mĩrongo ĩna.
31 And he lay down Solomon with ancestors his and people buried him in [the] city of David father his and he became king Rehoboam son his in place of him.
Agĩcooka akĩhurũka hamwe na maithe make, na agĩthikwo itũũra inene rĩa ithe Daudi. Nake mũriũ Rehoboamu agĩtuĩka mũthamaki ithenya rĩake.
