2 Chronicles 6
1 Then he said Solomon Yahweh he has said to dwell in thick darkness.
Då sade Salomo: Herren hafver sagt, att han vill bo i mörkrena.
2 And I I have built a house of loftiness for you and a place to dwell in you forever.
Och jag hafver byggt ett hus dig till boning, och ett säte, der du bo skall till evig tid.
3 And he turned the king face his and he blessed all [the] assembly of Israel and all [the] assembly of Israel [was] standing.
Och Konungen vände sitt ansigte, och välsignade hela Israels menighet; ty hela Israels menighet stod;
4 And he said [be] blessed Yahweh [the] God of Israel who he spoke with mouth his with David father my and by hands his he has fulfilled saying.
Och han sade: Lofvad vare Herren Israels Gud, som genom sin mun till min fader David talat, och med sine hand fullkomnat hafver, då han sade:
5 Since the day when I brought out people my from [the] land of Egypt not I have chosen a city from all [the] tribes of Israel to build a house to be name my there and not I have chosen a person to be ruler over people my Israel.
Efter den tiden, att jag mitt folk utur Egypti land förde, hafver jag ingen stad utvalt i alla Israels slägter, der ett hus att bygga, så att mitt Namn der vara skulle; hafver ej heller någon man utvalt, att han skulle vara en Förste öfver mitt folk Israel;
6 And I have chosen Jerusalem to be name my there and I have chosen David to be over people my Israel.
Men Jerusalem hafver jag utvalt, att mitt Namn der vara skall; och David hafver jag utvalt, att han skall vara öfver mitt folk Israel.
7 And it was with [the] heart of David father my to build a house for [the] name of Yahweh [the] God of Israel.
Och då min fader David i sinnet hade att bygga Herrans Israels Guds Namne ett hus,
8 And he said Yahweh to David father my because that it was with heart your to build a house for name my you did well for it was with heart your.
Sade Herren till min fader David: Du hafver gjort väl, att du hafver i sinnet att bygga mino Namne ett hus;
9 Only you not you will build the house for son your who comes out from loins your he he will build the house for name my.
Dock skall du icke bygga det huset, utan din son, som utaf dina länder komma skall, han skall bygga mino Namne hus.
10 And he has established Yahweh word his which he spoke and I have arisen in place of David father my and I have sat - on [the] throne of Israel just as he spoke Yahweh and I have built the house for [the] name of Yahweh [the] God of Israel.
Så hafver nu Herren stadfäst sitt ord, som han talat hafver; ty jag är uppkommen uti mins faders Davids stad, och sitter på Israels stol, såsom Herren sagt hafver; och hafver byggt ett hus Herrans Namne Israels Guds;
11 And I have put there the ark where [is] there [the] covenant of Yahweh which he made with [the] people of Israel.
Och hafver satt deruti arken, der Herrans förbund uti är, det han med Israels barn gjort hafver.
12 And he stood before [the] altar of Yahweh before all [the] assembly of Israel and he spread out hands his.
Och han gick fram för Herrans altare, i hela Israels menighets närvaro, och uträckte sina händer;
13 For he had made Solomon a platform of bronze and he had put it in [the] middle of the precinct [was] five cubits length its and [was] five cubits breadth its and [was] cubits three height its and he stood on it and he knelt down on knees his before all [the] assembly of Israel and he spread out hands his the heavens towards.
Ty Salomo hade gjort en kopparkettil, och satt honom midt i gården, fem alnar lång och bred, och tre alnar hög: till den samma gick han, och föll neder på sin knä inför hela Israels menighet, och uträckte sina händer upp åt himmelen;
14 And he said O Yahweh [the] God of Israel there not like you [is] a God in the heavens and on the earth [who] keeps the covenant and covenant loyalty to servants your who walk before you with all heart their.
Och sade: Herre Israels Gud, det är ingen Gud dig liker, antingen i himmelen eller på jordene; du som håller förbund och barmhertighet dinom tjenarom, som vandra för dig af allt hjerta.
15 Who you have kept to servant your David father my [that] which you spoke to him and you spoke with mouth your and by hand your you have fulfilled as the day this.
Du hafver hållit din om tjenare David, minom fader, hvad du honom sagt hafver; med dinom mun hafver du sagt det, och med dine hand hafver du fullkomnat det, såsom det nu i denna dag tillgår.
16 And now O Yahweh - [the] God of Israel keep to servant your David father my [that] which you spoke to him saying not it will be cut off to you a man from to before me [who] sits on [the] throne of Israel only if they will guard descendants your way their to walk in law my just as you have walked before me.
Nu, Herre Israels Gud, håll dinom tjenare David, minom fader, hvad du till honom talat hafver, och sagt: Dig skall icke fattas en man för mig, som sitta skall på Israels stol; dock, såframt din barn förvara sina vägar, att de vandra i min lag, såsom du för mig vandrat hafver.
17 And now O Yahweh [the] God of Israel let it be established word your which you spoke to servant your to David.
Nu, Herre Israels Gud, låt din ord sann varda, som du dinom tjenare David sagt hafver.
18 For ¿ really will he dwell God with humankind on earth here! heaven and [the] heavens of the heavens not they will contain you indeed? for the house this which I have built.
Ty menar du ock, att Gud bor när menniskomen på jordene? Si, himmelen och alla himlars himlar kunna icke begripa dig; huru skulle då detta huset göra det, som jag byggt hafver?
19 And you will turn to [the] prayer of servant your and to supplication his O Yahweh God my to listen to the cry of entreaty and to the prayer which servant your [is] praying before you.
Men vänd dig, Herre, min Gud, till dins tjenares bön, och till hans begär, att du ville höra den bön och bedjande, som din tjenare för dig gör;
20 To be eyes your open to the house this by day and night to the place where you have said to put name your there to listen to the prayer which he will pray servant your to the place this.
Att din ögon måga blifva öppne öfver detta hus dag och natt; öfver det rum, som du lofvat hafver, att ditt Namn der vara skall; att du ville höra den bön, som din tjenare på detta rum görandes varder.
21 And you will listen to [the] supplications of servant your and people your Israel which they will pray to the place this and you you will hear from [the] place of dwelling you from the heavens and you will hear and you will forgive.
Så hör nu dins tjenares, och dins folks Israels bön, som de bedjande varda i detta rum; och hör dertill ifrå det rum, der du bor i himmelen; och när du hörer, att du ville ock nådelig vara.
22 If he will sin anyone to neighbor his and he will impose on him an oath to put under an oath him and he will come he will swear an oath before altar your in the house this.
Om någor syndar emot sin nästa, och honom varder en ed pålagd, som han svärja skall; och den eden kommer för ditt altare i desso huse;
23 And you - you will hear from the heavens and you will act and you will judge servants your to repay to a guilty [person] to requite conduct his on own head his and to vindicate a righteous [person] to give to him according to righteousness his.
Att du ville då höra af himmelen, och skaffa dinom tjenare rätt; att du ville vedergälla dem ogudaktiga, och gifva honom hans väg på hans hufvud, och gifva dem rättfärdiga rätt; och att du gifver honom efter hans rättfärdighet.
24 And if it will be defeated people your Israel before an enemy for they will sin to you and they will return and they will praise name your and they will pray and they will seek favor before you in the house this.
Om ditt folk Israel för sina fiendar slaget varder, efter de emot dig syndat hafva; och de omvända sig, och bekänna ditt Namn, bedja och begära för dig i desso huse;
25 And you you will hear from the heavens and you will forgive [the] sin of people your Israel and you will bring back them to the land which you gave to them and to ancestors their.
Att du ville då höra dertill af himmelen, och vara dins folks Israels synder nådelig, och låta dem komma uti det land, som du dem och deras fäder gifvit hafver;
26 When are shut up the heavens and not it will be rain for they will sin to you and they will pray to the place this and they will praise name your from sin their they will turn back! for you will afflict them.
Om himmelen tillyckt varder, så att intet regnar, efter de emot dig syndat hafva; och de bedja i detta rum, och bekänna ditt Namn, och omvända sig ifrå sina synder, sedan du dem ödmjukat hafver;
27 And you - you will hear the heavens and you will forgive [the] sin of servants your and people your Israel that you will direct them to the way good which they will walk in it and you will give rain on land your which you gave to people your for an inheritance.
Att du då ville höra dem i himmelen, och vara dina tjenares och dins folks Israels synder nådelig, att du lärer dem en god väg, der de uti vandra måga; och låter regna på ditt land, som du dino folke gifvit hafver till besittning.
28 Famine if it will be in the land pestilence for it will be blight and mildew locust[s] and locust[s] for it will be that he will lay siege to it enemies its in [the] land of gates its any plague and any sickness.
Om en hunger varder i landena, eller pestilentie, eller torka, brand, gräshoppor, gräsmatkar; eller om deras fiendar i landet belägga deras portar; eller eljest någor plåga eller krankhet;
29 Every prayer every supplication which it will belong to any person and to all people your Israel who they will know everyone own plague his and own pain his and he will spread out hands his to the house this.
Den då beder, eller begärar ibland allahanda menniskor, och ibland allt ditt folk Israel, då någor sina plågo och vedermödo känner, och uträcker sina händer till detta huset;
30 And you you will hear from the heavens [the] place of dwelling you and you will forgive and you will give to the person according to all ways his whom you will know heart his for you to alone you you know [the] heart of [the] children of humankind.
Att du då ville höra dertill af himmelen, af dins bonings säte, och vara nådelig, och gifva hvarjom och enom efter alla hans vägar, efter som du känner hans hjerta; ty du allena känner menniskors barnas hjerta;
31 So that they may fear you to walk in ways your all the days which they [are] alive on [the] surface of the land which you gave to ancestors our.
På det att de skola frukta dig, och vandra på dina vägar alla dagar, så länge som de lefva i landet, som du våra fäder gifvit hafver.
32 And also to the foreigner who not [is] one of people your Israel he and he will come - from a land distant for [the] sake of name your great and hand your mighty and arm your outstretched and they will come and they will pray to the house this.
Om ock en främmande, som icke är utaf ditt folk Israel, kommer af fjerran land, för ditt stora Namn och mägtiga hand och uträckta arms skull, och beder i desso huse;
33 And you you will hear from the heavens from [the] place of dwelling you and you will do according to all that he will call out to you the foreigner so that they may know all [the] peoples of the earth name your and to fear you like people your Israel and to know that name your it has been called on the house this which I have built.
Att du ville höra dertill af himmelen, af dins bonings säte, och göra allt det, der han dig om åkallar; på det att all folk på jordene måga känna ditt Namn och frukta dig såsom ditt folk Israel, och förnimma att detta hus, som jag byggt hafver, efter ditt Namn nämndt är.
34 If it will go forth people your for battle on enemies its by the way which you will send them and they will pray to you [the] direction of the city this which you have chosen it and the house which I have built for name your.
Om ditt folk utdrager i strid emot sina fiendar, den vägen som du dem sändandes varder, och de bedja till dig på den vägen emot denna staden, som du utvalt hafver, och till det hus, som jag dino Namne byggt hafver;
35 And you will hear from the heavens prayer their and supplication their and you will do justice their.
Att du då ville höra deras bön och begär af himmelen, och hjelpa dem till deras rätt.
36 If they will sin to you for there not [is] anyone who not he sins and you will be angry with them and will you deliver up them before an enemy and they will take captive them captors their to a land distant or near.
Om de varda syndande emot dig, efter ingen menniska är som icke syndar; och du varder vred på dem, och gifver dem för deras fiendar, att de föra dem bort fångna uti något land, fjerran eller när;
37 And they will bring back to heart their in the land where they have been taken captive there and they will repent - and they will seek favor to you in [the] land of captivity their saying we have sinned we have done wrong and we have acted wickedly.
Och de omvända sig i sino hjerta, uti de lande der de uti fångne äro, och omvända sig, och bedja dig uti sins fängelses land, och säga: Vi hafve syndat, illa gjort och varit ogudaktige;
38 And they will return to you with all heart their and with all being their in [the] land of captivity their where they took captive them and they will pray [the] direction of land their which you gave to ancestors their and the city which you have chosen and to the house which I have built for name your.
Och vända sig så till dig af allt hjerta, och af allo själ, uti sins fängelses land, der man dem fångna håller, och de bedja på den väg emot sitt land, som du deras fäder gifvit hafver, och emot den stad, som du utvalt hafver, och emot huset, som jag dino Namne byggt hafver;
39 And you will hear from the heavens from [the] place of dwelling you prayer their and supplications their and you will do justice their and you will forgive people your who they have sinned to you.
Att du då ville höra deras bön och begär af himmelen, af dins bonings säte, och hjelpa dem till deras rätt, och vara dino folke nådelig, som emot dig syndat hafva,
40 Now O God my let them be please eyes your open and ears your attentive to [the] prayer of the place this.
Så låt nu, min Gud, din ögon öppna vara, och din öron gifva akt på bönen i detta rum.
41 And now arise! O Yahweh God to resting place your you and [the] ark of strength your priests your O Yahweh God may they be clothed salvation and faithful [people] your may they rejoice in the good.
Så statt nu upp, Herre Gud, till dina ro, du och dins magts ark; låt dina Prester, Herre Gud, varda iklädde med salighet, och dina heliga glädja sig öfver det goda.
42 O Yahweh God may not you turn away [the] faces of anointed [one] your remember! [the] covenant loyalti of David servant your.
Herre Gud, vänd icke bort din Smordas ansigte; tänk uppå den barmhertighet, som din tjenare David lofvad är.
