2 Chronicles 6

1 Then he said Solomon Yahweh he has said to dwell in thick darkness.

Entonces dijo Salomón: Jehová ha dicho, que él habitará en la oscuridad.

2 And I I have built a house of loftiness for you and a place to dwell in you forever.

Yo pues he edificado una casa de morada para ti, y una habitación en que mores para siempre.

3 And he turned the king face his and he blessed all [the] assembly of Israel and all [the] assembly of Israel [was] standing.

Y volviendo el rey su rostro bendijo a toda la congregación de Israel, y toda la congregación de Israel estaba en pie, y él dijo:

4 And he said [be] blessed Yahweh [the] God of Israel who he spoke with mouth his with David father my and by hands his he has fulfilled saying.

Bendito sea Jehová Dios de Israel, el cual dijo por su boca a David mi padre, y con su mano ha cumplido, diciendo:

5 Since the day when I brought out people my from [the] land of Egypt not I have chosen a city from all [the] tribes of Israel to build a house to be name my there and not I have chosen a person to be ruler over people my Israel.

Desde el día que saqué mi pueblo de la tierra de Egipto, ninguna ciudad he elegido de todas las tribus de Israel, para edificar casa donde estuviese mi nombre; ni he escogido varón, que fuese príncipe sobre mi pueblo Israel:

6 And I have chosen Jerusalem to be name my there and I have chosen David to be over people my Israel.

Mas a Jerusalem he elegido para que en ella esté mi nombre, y a David he elegido para que fuese sobre mi pueblo Israel.

7 And it was with [the] heart of David father my to build a house for [the] name of Yahweh [the] God of Israel.

Y David mi padre tuvo en corazón de edificar casa al nombre de Jehová Dios de Israel.

8 And he said Yahweh to David father my because that it was with heart your to build a house for name my you did well for it was with heart your.

Mas Jehová dijo a David mi padre: De haber tenido en tu corazón de edificar casa a mi nombre, bien has hecho de haber tenido esto en tu corazón:

9 Only you not you will build the house for son your who comes out from loins your he he will build the house for name my.

Empero tú no edificarás la casa; sino tu hijo que saldrá de tus lomos, él edificará casa a mi nombre.

10 And he has established Yahweh word his which he spoke and I have arisen in place of David father my and I have sat - on [the] throne of Israel just as he spoke Yahweh and I have built the house for [the] name of Yahweh [the] God of Israel.

Y Jehová ha cumplido su palabra, que dijo: y levantéme yo por David mi padre, y asentéme en el trono de Israel, como Jehová había dicho; y he edificado casa al nombre de Jehová Dios de Israel.

11 And I have put there the ark where [is] there [the] covenant of Yahweh which he made with [the] people of Israel.

Y he puesto en ella el arca en la cual está el concierto de Jehová que concertó con los hijos de Israel.

12 And he stood before [the] altar of Yahweh before all [the] assembly of Israel and he spread out hands his.

Y púsose delante del altar de Jehová delante de toda la congregación de Israel, y extendió sus manos:

13 For he had made Solomon a platform of bronze and he had put it in [the] middle of the precinct [was] five cubits length its and [was] five cubits breadth its and [was] cubits three height its and he stood on it and he knelt down on knees his before all [the] assembly of Israel and he spread out hands his the heavens towards.

Porque Salomón había hecho un púlpito de metal, y le había puesto en medio del patio, de longitud de cinco codos, y de anchura de otros cinco, y de altura de tres codos, y púsose sobre él, e hincóse de rodillas delante de toda la congregación de Israel, y extendiendo sus manos al cielo, dijo:

14 And he said O Yahweh [the] God of Israel there not like you [is] a God in the heavens and on the earth [who] keeps the covenant and covenant loyalty to servants your who walk before you with all heart their.

Jehová Dios de Israel, no hay Dios semejante a ti en el cielo, ni en la tierra, que guardas el concierto, y la misericordia a tus siervos, que caminan delante de ti con todo su corazón:

15 Who you have kept to servant your David father my [that] which you spoke to him and you spoke with mouth your and by hand your you have fulfilled as the day this.

Que has guardado a tu siervo David mi padre lo que le dijiste: tú lo dijiste de tu boca, mas con tu mano lo has cumplido, como parece este día.

16 And now O Yahweh - [the] God of Israel keep to servant your David father my [that] which you spoke to him saying not it will be cut off to you a man from to before me [who] sits on [the] throne of Israel only if they will guard descendants your way their to walk in law my just as you have walked before me.

Ahora pues Jehová Dios de Israel, guarda a tu siervo David mi padre lo que le has prometido, diciendo: No faltará de ti varón delante de mí que se asiente en el trono de Israel, a condición que tus hijos guarden su camino, andando en mi ley, como tú has andado delante de mí.

17 And now O Yahweh [the] God of Israel let it be established word your which you spoke to servant your to David.

Ahora pues, oh Jehová Dios de Israel, sea firme tu palabra que dijiste a tu siervo David.

18 For ¿ really will he dwell God with humankind on earth here! heaven and [the] heavens of the heavens not they will contain you indeed? for the house this which I have built.

¿Es verdad que Dios ha de habitar con el hombre en la tierra? He aquí, los cielos, y los cielos de los cielos no te comprenden, ¿cuánto menos esta casa que he edificado?

19 And you will turn to [the] prayer of servant your and to supplication his O Yahweh God my to listen to the cry of entreaty and to the prayer which servant your [is] praying before you.

Mas tú mirarás a la oración de tu siervo, y a su ruego, oh Jehová Dios mío, para oír el clamor y la oración con que tu siervo ora delante de ti:

20 To be eyes your open to the house this by day and night to the place where you have said to put name your there to listen to the prayer which he will pray servant your to the place this.

Que tus ojos estén abiertos sobre esta casa de día y de noche, sobre el lugar del cual dijiste: Mi nombre será allí: que oigas la oración con que tu siervo ora en este lugar.

21 And you will listen to [the] supplications of servant your and people your Israel which they will pray to the place this and you you will hear from [the] place of dwelling you from the heavens and you will hear and you will forgive.

Asimismo, que oigas el ruego de su siervo, y de tu pueblo Israel, cuando oraren en este lugar; que tú oirás desde los cielos, desde el lugar de tu habitación; que oigas, y perdones.

22 If he will sin anyone to neighbor his and he will impose on him an oath to put under an oath him and he will come he will swear an oath before altar your in the house this.

Si alguno pecare contra su prójimo, y él le pidiere juramento haciéndolo jurar, y el juramento viniere delante de tu altar en esta casa;

23 And you - you will hear from the heavens and you will act and you will judge servants your to repay to a guilty [person] to requite conduct his on own head his and to vindicate a righteous [person] to give to him according to righteousness his.

Tú oirás desde los cielos, y harás, y juzgarás a tus siervos, pagando al impío, dándole su camino en su cabeza, y justificando al justo, dándole conforme a su justicia.

24 And if it will be defeated people your Israel before an enemy for they will sin to you and they will return and they will praise name your and they will pray and they will seek favor before you in the house this.

Si tu pueblo Israel cayere delante de los enemigos por haber pecado contra ti, y si se convirtieren, y confesaren tu nombre, y rogaren delante de ti en esta casa;

25 And you you will hear from the heavens and you will forgive [the] sin of people your Israel and you will bring back them to the land which you gave to them and to ancestors their.

Tú oirás desde los cielos, y perdonarás el pecado de tu pueblo Israel, y volverlos has a la tierra que diste a ellos y a sus padres.

26 When are shut up the heavens and not it will be rain for they will sin to you and they will pray to the place this and they will praise name your from sin their they will turn back! for you will afflict them.

Si los cielos se cerraren, que no haya lluvias por haber pecado contra ti, si oraren a ti en este lugar, y confesaren tu nombre, y se convirtieren de sus pecados cuando los afligieres;

27 And you - you will hear the heavens and you will forgive [the] sin of servants your and people your Israel that you will direct them to the way good which they will walk in it and you will give rain on land your which you gave to people your for an inheritance.

Tú los oirás en los cielos, y perdonarás el pecado de tus siervos, y de tu pueblo Israel, y les enseñarás el buen camino para que anden en él, y darás lluvia sobre tu tierra, la cual diste por heredad a tu pueblo.

28 Famine if it will be in the land pestilence for it will be blight and mildew locust[s] and locust[s] for it will be that he will lay siege to it enemies its in [the] land of gates its any plague and any sickness.

Y si hubiere hambre en la tierra, o si hubiere pestilencia, o si hubiere tizoncillo, o niebla, lagarta, langosta, o pulgón; o si los cercaren sus enemigos en la tierra de sus ciudades; o cualquiera llaga, o enfermedad:

29 Every prayer every supplication which it will belong to any person and to all people your Israel who they will know everyone own plague his and own pain his and he will spread out hands his to the house this.

Toda oración, y todo ruego que cualquier hombre hiciere, o todo tu pueblo Israel, o cualquiera que conociere su llaga, y su dolor en su corazón, si extendiere sus manos a esta casa;

30 And you you will hear from the heavens [the] place of dwelling you and you will forgive and you will give to the person according to all ways his whom you will know heart his for you to alone you you know [the] heart of [the] children of humankind.

Tú oirás desde los cielos, desde el lugar de tu habitación, y perdonarás, y darás a cada uno conforme a sus caminos, habiendo conocido su corazón; porque tú solo conoces el corazón de los hijos de los hombres:

31 So that they may fear you to walk in ways your all the days which they [are] alive on [the] surface of the land which you gave to ancestors our.

Para que te teman, y anden en tus caminos todos los días que vivieren sobre la haz de la tierra que tú diste a nuestros padres.

32 And also to the foreigner who not [is] one of people your Israel he and he will come - from a land distant for [the] sake of name your great and hand your mighty and arm your outstretched and they will come and they will pray to the house this.

Y también al extranjero, que no fuere de tu pueblo Israel, que hubiere venido de lejas tierras, por causa de tu grande nombre, y de tu mano fuerte, y de tu brazo extendido, si vinieren, y oraren en esta casa;

33 And you you will hear from the heavens from [the] place of dwelling you and you will do according to all that he will call out to you the foreigner so that they may know all [the] peoples of the earth name your and to fear you like people your Israel and to know that name your it has been called on the house this which I have built.

Tú oirás desde los cielos, desde la habitación de tu morada, y harás conforme a todas las cosas por las cuales el extranjero hubiere clamado a ti: para que todos los pueblos de la tierra conozcan tu nombre, y te teman como tu pueblo Israel; y sepan que tu nombre es invocado sobre esta casa que he edificado.

34 If it will go forth people your for battle on enemies its by the way which you will send them and they will pray to you [the] direction of the city this which you have chosen it and the house which I have built for name your.

Si tu pueblo saliere a la guerra contra sus enemigos por el camino que tú los enviares, y oraren a ti hacia esta ciudad que tú elegiste, hacia la casa que he edificado a tu nombre;

35 And you will hear from the heavens prayer their and supplication their and you will do justice their.

Tú oirás desde los cielos su oración y su ruego, y defenderás su causa.

36 If they will sin to you for there not [is] anyone who not he sins and you will be angry with them and will you deliver up them before an enemy and they will take captive them captors their to a land distant or near.

Si pecaren contra ti, pues que no hay hombre que no peque, y te airares contra ellos, y los entregares delante de sus enemigos, para que los que los tomaren, los lleven cautivos a tierra de enemigos lejos o cerca;

37 And they will bring back to heart their in the land where they have been taken captive there and they will repent - and they will seek favor to you in [the] land of captivity their saying we have sinned we have done wrong and we have acted wickedly.

Y ellos volvieren en sí en la tierra donde fueren llevados cautivos, y si se convirtieren, y oraren a ti en la tierra de su cautividad, y dijeren: Pecamos, hemos hecho inicuamente, hemos hecho impíamente;

38 And they will return to you with all heart their and with all being their in [the] land of captivity their where they took captive them and they will pray [the] direction of land their which you gave to ancestors their and the city which you have chosen and to the house which I have built for name your.

Y se convirtieren a ti de todo su corazón, y de toda su alma, en la tierra de su cautividad, donde los hubieren llevado cautivos, y oraren hacia su tierra, que tú diste a sus padres, hacia la ciudad que tú elegiste, y hacia la casa que he edificado a tu nombre;

39 And you will hear from the heavens from [the] place of dwelling you prayer their and supplications their and you will do justice their and you will forgive people your who they have sinned to you.

Tú oirás desde los cielos, desde la morada de tu habitación, su oración y su ruego, y defenderás su causa, y perdonarás a tu pueblo que pecó contra ti.

40 Now O God my let them be please eyes your open and ears your attentive to [the] prayer of the place this.

Ahora pues, oh Dios mío, estén, yo te ruego, abiertos tus ojos, y atentas tus orejas a la oración en este lugar.

41 And now arise! O Yahweh God to resting place your you and [the] ark of strength your priests your O Yahweh God may they be clothed salvation and faithful [people] your may they rejoice in the good.

Oh Jehová Dios, levántate ahora para tu reposo, tú y el arca de tu fortaleza: oh Jehová Dios, tus sacerdotes sean vestidos de salud, y tus misericordiosos gocen de bien.

42 O Yahweh God may not you turn away [the] faces of anointed [one] your remember! [the] covenant loyalti of David servant your.

Jehová Dios, no hagas volver el rostro de tu ungido: acuérdate de las misericordias de David tu siervo.
